UK to Enact New Tougher Immigration Rules to Cut Back as Much as 300K Foreign Arrivals in the Next Few Years

All over Europe, the scourge of unchecked mass migration is rapidly becoming the main concern of voters, and as an inevitable consequence, conservative parties are starting to wake up from their ‘coma’, and are starting to address the issue, before it’s too late.

In the UK, for example, drastically reducing immigration has been a central issue for many in the governing Conservative Party.

Brexit was predicated, among other things, in a call to ‘take back control of the country’s borders’.

It was mostly talk, it turns out – but can they change now?

The British government announced tough new immigration rules that would reduce the number of people able to move to the U.K. each year by as much as 300,000.

Home Secretary James Cleverly is taking ‘robust action’ with the new rules. Immigrants will now have to earn more to get a work visa, and will find it much harder to bring family members to the U.K.

ABC News reported:

“Cleverly said that from the spring of 2024, prospective immigrants will have to earn 38,700 pounds ($48,900) to get a skilled worker visa, up from 26,200 pounds ($33,000) now. British citizens who want to bring their foreign spouse to Britain will have to earn the same amount – almost double the current threshold.  

The government also said it would scrap a rule that lets employers in sectors on a “shortage occupation list” pay immigrant workers 20% less than U.K. citizens.”

Most foreign graduate students will also no longer be able to bring family members to the U.K.

Cleverly hopes the new measures will reduce by 300,000 the number of people eligible to move to Britain in future years.

Net migration to the U.K. — the number of people arriving minus those leaving — was an unmanageable 745,000 in 2022.

“Britain left the [EU] bloc in 2020, ending the automatic right of citizens from the 27 EU nations to live and work in the U.K. Since then the number of visas issued for people to come to Britain for work or study has soared. The country has also taken in hundreds of thousands of people fleeing war in Ukraine and the Chinese government’s crackdown on civil liberties in Hong Kong. The 2022 immigration figure is three times the pre-Brexit level.”

Many voters see how immigration increases the pressure on already public services and worsen the housing crisis.

“Opposition Labour Party immigration spokeswoman Yvette Cooper said the government had failed to train U.K. workers to fill key jobs. ‘Where is the workforce plan on social care, on engineering, on bricklaying, on all shortage occupations that their total economic failure has left us with?’ she said.”

The Economist reported:

“When the Conservatives came to power in 2010 they promised to reduce net migration to below 100,000 a year. Since the Brexit vote in 2016, there has been much talk of “taking back control” of Britain’s borders. The 2019 Tory manifesto pledged a reduction in immigration, though it did not specify a number. Yet immigration has continued to climb.

[…] Immigration matters to voters. According to polling from YouGov, a research firm, 40% of Britons consider immigration and asylum among the most important issues facing the country, up from under 20% in early 2021. It now ranks just below the economy and the state of the National Health Service in the public’s concerns. Rishi Sunak, the prime minister, and Mr Cleverly have been under rising pressure from the right of their own party, much of the popular press and a large block of voters to act tough.”

Election Interference: FBI Director Chris Wray Admits Withholding the Truth About the Hunter Biden Laptop from the American Public Helped Protect Joe Biden During Election Season (VIDEO)

In a high-stakes hearing today, FBI Director Christopher Wray faced intense questioning from Senate Judiciary Committee members regarding the potential renewal of key surveillance powers under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

These powers, allegedly crucial to the bureau’s national security operations but controversial for their overreach, are set to expire this month amidst a swirling debate over privacy rights and government oversight.

Senator Kennedy (R-LA) steered the discussion towards a more contentious topic: the FBI’s handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“Why didn’t the FBI just say, hey, the laptop’s real?” Senator Kennedy asked. “Why didn’t you just tell everybody the laptop’s real. We’re not vouching for what’s on it, but it’s real. This isn’t a fiction.”

Kennedy continued, “You’re the FBI. You’re not part of the White House and part of Homeland Security. You’re not supposed to be political. You see all this controversy going on? Why didn’t the FBI said, ‘Time out, folks. We’re not getting to the middle of this, but the laptop’s real.’”

Wray responded and said that their aim was to avoid election interference, “We have to be very careful about what we can say, especially in the middle of an election season,” Wray explained.

This is an outright lie. A report by the House Ways and Means Committee detailed the FBI’s knowledge and verification of the laptop’s authenticity well before the contentious election period.

The report claimed the bureau had verified the laptop as belonging to Hunter Biden as early as November 2019. The FBI seized the laptop from Mac Isaac in December 2019 under the authority of a subpoena issued by a Wilmington grand jury.

In the report, the committee included this nugget:

In October 2019, the FBI became aware that a repair shop had a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden and that the laptop might contain evidence of a crime. The FBI verified its authenticity in November of 2019 by matching the device number against Hunter Biden’s Apple iCloud ID.

House Ways and Means Committee’s report

Wray just admitted under oath that the FBI deliberately allowed the “laptop is fake” hoax to perpetuate during the first Trump impeachment on a Ukrainian phone call that mentioned Hunter Biden and then in the 2020 election cycle by remaining silent!

Chris Wray and the FBI said NOTHING! How is that not interfering in an election?

Yet, it appears that there was no objection from these officials when 50 intelligence experts labeled the situation as Russian propaganda and failed to correct that.

Recall, in October of 2020 – just days before the presidential election – 51 former intelligence officials signed and published a letter that baselessly decried the contents of Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell’ had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

The 51 spies who lied openly to the American public.

This scam letter was used by then-candidate Joe Biden during the presidential debates, as he cited the letter to dismiss the laptop’s contents as Russian propaganda.

Chris Wray belongs in prison for election interference.

On Tuesday the House Education Committee invited the leaders of MIT, Harvard, and Penn to testify in front of Congress.

During their testimony Rep. Elise Stefanik asked the educators if calling for the genocide of Jews violates the code of conduct on their campuses. Not one of the campus leaders could answer the question.

Presidents of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, and MIT smilingly say that calling for genocide of Jews isn’t necessarily against their code against harassment and bullying on campus. MIT dean Liz Magill suggested it was not a violation unless it led to actual genocide. Wow!

It’s open season on Jews at these American universities!

These smug elitists can’t even defend young Jewish students living in fear on campus.

These are sick, sick individuals.

RIDICULOUS: Transgender (Bio Male) Cyclists Place 1-2 in Major Women’s Cycling Competition

Transgender cyclists have once again stolen victories in a competition that was originally intended for women in the Illinois State Cyclocross Championship this past weekend.

“Tessa” Johnson, 25 and “Evelyn” Williamson, 30 were declared the 1st and 2nd place winners. The only real woman to place in the top three was Kristin Chalmers.

The two also stole victories back in October during the Cyclocross Cup which also caused at outrage.

New York Post reported:

Two transgender cyclists have once again snagged first and second place at a major women’s competition — with some calling their victories “outrageous” and an “assault” on the rights of biological female riders.

Tessa Johnson, 25, took first place in the women’s Single Speed category at the Illinois State Cyclocross Championships on Sunday, while Evelyn Williamson, 30, placed second.

The two — who previously sparked outrage when they took the same positions in the Chicago CycloCross Cup in October — were pictured on the podium with Kristin Chalmers, the sole biological female to medal.

Men took the top two podium spots in the women’s singlespeed category at the Illinois State Cyclocross Championships yesterday.

Williamson has been racing for about 7 years in women’s cycling with 18 titles.

Many athletes have spoken out against biological males destroying women’s sports.

“Tennis legend Martina Navratilova blasted the riders as “more mediocre male bodies taking podium places from female athletes.” New York Post reported.

According to the Chicago Cup website, they allow transgenders to compete which demonstrates that these competitions are unfair to women. Biological men have an advantage over women, plain and simple.

The Gateway Pundit has reported on past occasions of transgender men competing in women’s sporting events including swimming and “breaking records.”

Lia Thomas, a transgender UPenn swimmer who competed for two full seasons as a man before ‘transitioning’ into a female, shattered women’s records in Akron, Ohio in 2021.

Thomas also finished one of the races 38 seconds ahead of the woman who finished in second place.
