Reporters from FOX 32 News in Chicago were recently trying to film the construction of a massive ‘migrant camp’ in the city but were prevented from doing so by workers at the site.
First, the workers used a truck to block the view, then they put up a tarp on the chain-link fence.
What is the city of Chicago trying to hide and why are they doing it?

After months of pushback from community members, a migrant encampment on Chicago’s South Side is becoming a reality.
Residents who live near 115th and Halsted say construction has been ramping up over the last several days. Yet, officials have not been forthcoming about the details…
On Sunday afternoon, FOX 32 drove to the encampment site to film the progress – but it was something construction crews were quick to cover up.
Behind a newly installed chain link fence that surrounds a once bustling grocery store, there is no denying that movement was being made. Mounds of dirt are on site, along with construction equipment and crew members.
“I heard they were out until 1 o’clock in the morning,” said Annette Cain, community member.
However, the work being completed Sunday wasn’t visible for long. Within 15 minutes of FOX 32 arriving there, a Department of Water Management truck was positioned directly in front of our crew’s camera and tripod – seemingly to obstruct the view.
That’s not all. Workers then lined the chain link fence with a black privacy screen. Now, those passing by cannot see into the lot.

Saturday Night Live alum Jon Lovitz may not be a conservative, but he does often seem like a common sense guy.
During a recent interview with FOX News, Lovitz tore into late night hosts like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel for constantly using their late night shows to push a political agenda.
Lovitz points out that the legacy of Johnny Carson was one of comedy and entertainment and that late night has been ruined in recent years.

Actor and comedian Jon Lovitz took aim at the politicization of late night comedy, calling out liberal hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers during an exclusive interview with FOX News Digital.
Lovitz, who’s been a comedy icon for nearly 40 years since his days as a “Saturday Night Live” cast member, was asked about the transformation of comedy over the years and drew attention to how polarizing late night shows have become since the Trump era.
“I don’t like it. I don’t like it,” Lovitz said. “They were comedy shows. And now, except for Jimmy Fallon, they’ve all become very political. And for me, it’s just- it’s too much.”
“I mean, Johnny Carson would, you know, he would do two or three jokes about whoever was president then or what was going on then and that was it. But they were entertainment shows,” he said. “I know all those guys. And they’re very nice guys. Very talented. I know Seth. I know Stephen Colbert. I know Jimmy Kimmel. I think they’re funny, you know. But when they started doing the political stuff, like, so one-sided, it’s like- and that’s all it is, the whole thing, it’s just like, that’s not the shows that I used to go on. You know, it was ‘The Tonight Show’ and David Letterman.”
Lovitz is absolutely right about this. Colbert is the worst. His show has turned into a late night infomercial for the Democrat party. Almost every guest is a hardcore left winger. It’s not entertainment anymore, it’s political propaganda.

The liberal Washington Post suddenly cares about the border crisis and illegal immigration. Why? Because it’s becoming a political problem for the Democrat party. That’s all the WaPo really cares about.
They didn’t see the border crisis as a problem as long as it was just red states like Texas that had to deal with it.
Now the issue is polling badly and they’re ringing an alarm bell for the Dems.

Democrats’ border problem is getting real
Panicky Democrats don’t need anything else to fret about ahead of the 2024 election. But high on the list of things that probably should register for them right now is the southern border.
That’s because the pro-immigration moment that Donald Trump rather unwittingly ushered in appears to be coming to a close. Even the Democratic base is concerned.
Remarkable polling results came out of New York on Monday. Even Democrats in this Siena College poll are saying things that sound somewhat reminiscent of the views of immigration hawks in the GOP:
– Nearly as many New York Democrats said migrants coming to the state over the past 20 years have been a “burden” (35 percent) as said they have been a “benefit” (37 percent).
– 75 percent of New York Democrats said the recent influx of migrants to the state was at least a “somewhat serious” problem. Nearly half (47 percent) said it was a “very serious” problem.
– 53 percent of New York Democrats agreed with the statement that “New Yorkers have already done enough for new migrants and should now work to slow the flow of migrants to New York.” (The alternative was that the state should “accept new migrants and work to assimilate them into New York,” a position with which 41 percent of the Democratic respondents agreed.)

According to a new report by CNN, an affluent man driving a $300,000 Bentley Excelsior X caused the fiery accident at the Rainbow Bridge near Niagara Falls on Wednesday.
A 56-year-old man who lived in an upscale neighborhood went to a nearby casino with his wife after a KISS concert he intended to go to was canceled.
The unidentified driver was driving at a high rate of speed when he hit the center divider and launched into the air. The Bentley caught fire after it crashed into the border inspection point.
The driver and the passenger both died.

Earlier Wednesday Fox News reported there were explosives in the vehicle, however, authorities later walked back the claims.
According to Reuters, terrorism was ruled out.
A speeding car crashed in flames on the bridge linking New York state and Ontario at Niagara Falls on Wednesday, killing two people in the vehicle and sparking a security scare that closed four U.S.-Canadian border crossings and New York’s Buffalo International Airport.
Hours later federal and state authorities said investigators had found no evidence of an act of terror, though circumstances surrounding the crash on the Rainbow Bridge remained murky, leaving it to be determined whether it was accidental or intentional.
“At this time, there is no indication of a terrorist attack” or threat to the public at large, New York Governor Kathy Hochul told reporters Wednesday evening. Her comments were echoed by federal and local law enforcement officials at a separate news conference.
The FBI released a statement on the Rainbow Bridge Wednesday evening.
“A search of the scene revealed no explosive materials, and no terrorism nexus was identified. The matter has been turned over to the Niagara Falls Police Department as traffic investigation,” the FBI said.

Elon Musk is currently suing the left wing organization Media Matters for America. It’s about time someone did.
During his FOX News show this week, Greg Gutfeld broke down what’s happening, but even more importantly, he clearly explained what MMFA really is.
MMFA bills itself as a media watchdog. The truth is that they are nothing more than a group that seeks to silence anyone who is not on the left.

There’s been a lot of talk among Dems about misinformation and disinformation. Basically, any sort of information that doesn’t help a Democrat get elected, also known as the truth in the eyes of the Dems. The story of Hunter’s abandoned laptop had to be misinformation because it threatened Joe Biden’s candidacy. So they manipulated social media to quash the story. They suspended it, banned anybody who talked about it. They called it Russian disinformation. And it worked. And they got the result they wanted. A reject from a Balance of Nature ad in the White House.
But that wasn’t enough, especially now that Elon Musk has bought their favorite toy, Twitter, and turned it into something called X. So now Musk must be stopped. Enter Media Matters. On Friday, they put out a report saying Nazi content ran on the app alongside corporate ads from major companies like IBM, Apple and Oracle. And so a bunch of companies suspended their ads on X. But now Musk is suing Media Matters, saying they manufactured the report. Apparently these companies were duped, like someone who bought Girl Scout cookies from Dylan Mulvaney. Be happy that’s all you bought.
But before we go any further, we should clarify what Media Matters really is. In case you don’t know. See, they’re this left-wing group funded by wealthy leftists while dishonestly positioning themselves as an impartial media watchdog. But the only part of that title that’s true is the dog part, because it made Chris Cuomo interviewing his brother seem impartial. Those were the days.
So why is this important? Because the mainstream media uses Media Matters, knowing that the public has no idea what it is and they won’t bother to check that it’s a front to silence people, specifically conservatives.
