All around the world, a conservative wave has been sweeping through these 2024 elections – and it seems Canada is being primed to be the next example.

Embattled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just suffered a shocking defeat in the liberal stronghold nicknamed “Fortress Toronto” – a result that signals terrible times ahead for his Liberal party come next future general election.

“It represents an embarrassing loss for the Canadian prime minister, who had personally travelled to St Paul’s – a wealthy seat the Liberal Party has held since 1993 – in a bid to shore up support during a by-election.

However, Leslie Church, the Liberal candidate and former chief of staff to Mr. Trudeau’s finance minister, was defeated by the Conservatives’ Don Stewart by just 590 votes.”

Trudeau’s popularity has cratered because of his failed Globalist policies bringing about a high cost of living, a lack of affordable housing, steadily declining living standards, and of course, his crippling carbon taxes pushing up petrol prices.

“Polling shows that most Canadians believe he should step aside. Mr. Poilievre has claimed that Mr. Trudeau is personally responsible for Canada’s high prices, which he has dubbed ‘Justinflation’.”

This by-election is thought by many Liberals as “Trudeau’s last stand”.

“According to projections by 338Canada, the Conservatives would take 209 seats if an election had been held on June 23 – substantially clear of the 172 seats needed for a majority – while the Liberals would topple to 70.”

The Fraser Institute held a study in May showing that ‘Canada was suffering one of its worst declines in living standards in 40 years’.

CNN is attempting to silence independent media and control the narrative surrounding the first 2024 Presidential debate on Thursday by not allowing the use of CNN’s live broadcast to report and comment on the debate in real time.

This revelation comes after CNN’s Kasie Hunt abruptly cut off Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, after she brought up Jake Tapper’s history of comparing Trump to Hitler and told people to “Google ‘Jake Tapper Donald Trump.’”

It’s not enough to turn off President Trump’s microphone or to cut off spokespersons in interviews.

Jesse Watters compared this move to slapping a gag order on the Trump campaign. “We knew Trump’s mic would be muted during the debate, but we didn’t know his campaign’s mic would be muted before it,” said Watters.

It appears they took a page or two out of the Democrat playbook regarding gag orders and reaching out to social media companies and YouTube to censor conservatives.

According to Tim Pool, the far-left YouTube contacted him, stating that CNN is not allowing live commentary on the debate and that "they are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions."

CNN alleges that its request has more to do with image rights than anything else. In the preceding presidential election, Fox also sought to sue those who used its live broadcast to comment on the debate on internet platforms, though it eventually dropped the legal battle.

Tim Pool assured this Monday that what the television network really wants is that "no one breaks its narrative." The commentator assures that preventing communicators like him from doing live monitoring of the debate with commentary and fact-checking is an attack against the basic principles of civic and democratic participation.

"Now, of course, as with all presidential debates," Pool assured in a video on his channel, "that is the epitome of civic responsibility, of civic participation. We will be doing live commentary and fact-checking in this presidential debate, as we have done in all the others since the program has existed," he added.

Tim Pool: I received a message from YouTube last week asking to hop on a phone call to discuss the RNC and the presidential cycle, and I said, sure. I briefly spoke with some individuals at YouTube earlier today who made it clear that CNN reached out expressing concern. I don't know the full extent, but making it known that YouTube better contact their news programs over the CNN debate.

Now of course, like all presidential debates, which is the epitome of civic responsibility—of civic participation, we will provide live commentary and fact checking on this presidential debate, as we have done for every other, so long as this show has been around. In a show of good faith, YouTube asked me to reach out to CNN to see if there was anything that they would be looking for in this regard because apparently, they are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions.

And I said, Okay, I'll reach out, to which the immediate response was something along the lines of confirming we will not allow anyone on YouTube to use this outside of, you know, CNN granting certain platforms-- basically saying, you can't do this. And my response immediately was commentary on Presidential Debates is the epitome of fair use. Hope that helps.

This Thursday will be particularly interesting. I think that news is big! I can't really put that succinctly in 80 characters for a YouTube headline, but this is massive that CNN is pulling this move. We saw something similar that Fox News had done; Fox had filed several takedowns on various shows, including ours, but they abandoned their copyright claims, because this is unquestionably fair use.

We have the two people running for the president of this country, one of them the current president, and we're going to fact check, and we're going to comment, and we're going to call them out in real time. If we can't do that, if no one else can, then that's severely limiting civic participation, and it's allowing a biased network that in the past has likened Trump to Hitler to control who can and cannot fact check this man. And as we know, with special rules for this debate, they are seeking to control that narrative. And I believe that is exactly why they reached out to YouTube and why YouTube reached out to me because they don't want anyone to break their narrative. That's the dirty game they're playing. It's going to be a fun Thursday.

Judge Cannon on Tuesday held a final day of hearings on Jack Smith’s classified documents case against President Trump.

President Trump’s lawyers filed a flurry of motions to dismiss Jack Smith’s case. Judge Cannon scheduled an expanded hearing to allow both sides to present their cases.

Cannon did not issue any rulings after Tuesday’s hearing concluded.

One of Jack Smith’s prosecutors threw a tantrum and accused Trump’s attorneys of “hijacking” the hearing.

Judge Cannon interrupted Smith’s prosecutor David Harbach and put him in his place.

“There is no hijacking going on — it’s about to end,” Judge Aileen Cannon responded, cutting off prosecutor David Harbach, ABC News reported.

“It’s not fair,” Harbach responded, arguing that Trump’s lawyers effectively “hijacked” the hearing by raising issues that have “nothing to do” with the matters before the court.” – ABC reported.

Judge Cannon appeared skeptical of Trump’s attorney’s arguments against the search warrant that authorized the raid of Mar-a-Lago and challenged them.

“This was an enormous piece of property. We are not talking about the search of a residential piece of property in the suburbs. It’s not an apartment in the city,” Trump’s lawyer Emil Bove argued, according to ABC News.

“What’s your point? It’s a large property,” Cannon responded. “You would agree paperwork is a sort of thing that can be located anywhere.”

Judge Cannon asked Harbach why federal agents searched Barron Trump’s room.

“Was there any evidence the boxes were moved to the child’s room?” Cannon asked.

“No direct evidence of that,” said Harbach, ABC News reported.

Judge Cannon last month indefinitely postponed the classified documents case after Special Counsel Jack Smith admitted to tampering with evidence.

The Judge vacated the May 20, 2024 trial date. It may be several months until Judge Cannon sets a new trial date.

During the discussion Lonsdale was asked about the prospect of President Donald Trump in his second term appointing two more originalist judges to the US Supreme Court: “I think that would protect our country for a generation to have originalist judges who believe in the Constitution.”

Andrew Ross Sorkin: You heard President Biden say last week that he thinks actually there could be as many as two judges up for grabs on the Supreme Court, whoever becomes the President for the next four years. If Trump were to win and put two new judges in place, would you be happy as an American? I’m actually very curious about this because if you… No, but to the extent that you, you’d like to think that you’d want a Supreme Court, I would imagine, that represents, that is somewhat representative of the country, somewhat representative of the country. How would you feel, Joe, if there were two more conservative judges on the Supreme Court? So you would actually get close to not just the majority, which you’re already in, but the entirety of it, obviously, for potentially a generation or more.

Joe Lonsdale: Yeah, I think that would protect our country for a generation to have originalist judges who believe in the Constitution, Andrew. They just ruled 9-0 to protect the abortion drugs. These people are not activists. They’re clearly in trying to interpret the Constitution, and I think that makes us very safe. They’re going to stop the unrealized taxes. They would destroy the innovation sector, and they’re going to stop a lot of this nonsense. I mean, Jackson, who’s the only person Biden put on, was the only one to very clearly say she wants a wealth tax. You do a wealth tax, you destroy our sector. I think in terms of protecting the United States of America, we need originalist judges, and that would be an amazing thing for our country.

Joe Kernan: A couple more originalists?

Joe Lonsdale: That would be great.

The Maasai drink milk raw or soured, in tea, or turned into butter, which is especially important for infants. They also produce a traditional fermented milk product called kule naoto from unpasteurized whole milk from zebu cows, which they consume in large quantities, averaging 2–3 liters per person per day.

In the latest display of far-left absurdity, taxpayer money is now being funneled into a study investigating the supposed ties between milk and colonialism.

Academics at Oxford are jumping on the bandwagon, ready to dissect the ‘political nature’ of milk and its so-called ‘colonial legacies.’

Thank goodness that our government is finally funding studies on this, after all this is the sort of stuff that really matters.
