The Biden Administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has launched yet another blatant attack on state sovereignty and election integrity, this time setting its sights on Alabama.

In an outrageous move, the DOJ has filed a lawsuit against Alabama for daring to clean up its voter rolls by removing illegal noncitizens from the system ahead of the upcoming general election.

This lawsuit, spearheaded by Biden’s weaponized DOJ, accuses the state of violating the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), citing so-called “Quiet Period” provisions meant to prevent last-minute adjustments to voter registration lists.

Alabama’s Republican Secretary of State, Wes Allen, initiated a program in August to ensure only eligible citizens remain on the voter rolls, specifically targeting over 3,000 individuals who were flagged with noncitizen identification numbers, according to The Guardian.

According to reports, letters were sent out to noncitizens on Alabama’s voter rolls, informing them that their registration had been flagged as inactive and was under review for removal.

But, predictably, Biden’s DOJ swooped in, claiming that not only noncitizens but also native-born and naturalized U.S. citizens were affected by these letters. The DOJ contends that this action could confuse voters and deter them from participating in the election.

Kristen Clarke, Assistant Attorney General of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, had the audacity to declare that Alabama’s efforts “violate federal law,” and expressed concern about “voter confusion” resulting from the state’s actions. Clarke went on to lecture Alabama about the “sacred right to vote,” while ignoring the blatant irony of her statement—protecting the right to vote should first and foremost mean ensuring that illegal noncitizens aren’t tipping the scales in elections meant for American citizens.

“The right to vote is one of the most sacred rights in our democracy,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke.

“As Election Day approaches, it is critical that Alabama redress voter confusion resulting from its list maintenance mailings sent in violation of federal law. Officials across the country should take heed of the National Voter Registration Act’s clear and unequivocal restrictions on systematic list maintenance efforts that fall within 90 days of an election.”

“The Quiet Period Provision of federal law exists to prevent eligible voters from being removed from the rolls as a result of last-minute, error-prone efforts. The Justice Department will continue to use all the tools it has available to ensure that the voting rights of every eligible voter are protected.”

According to the press release:

Section 8(c)(2) of the NVRA, also known as the Quiet Period Provision, requires states to complete systematic programs aimed at removing the names of ineligible voters from voter registration lists by no later than 90 days before federal elections.

The Quiet Period Provision applies to certain systematic programs carried out by states that are aimed at striking names from voter registration lists based on a perceived failure to meet initial eligibility requirements — including citizenship — at the time of registration.

The Quiet Period is an important protection for voters, because systematic removal programs may be error-ridden, cause voter confusion and remove eligible voters days or weeks before Election Day who may be unable to correct the state’s errors in time to vote or may be dissuaded from voting at all.

States may remove names from official lists of voters in various ways and for various reasons, but they may not carry-on this kind of systematic removal program so close to a federal election.

The Justice Department seeks injunctive relief that would restore the ability of impacted eligible voters to vote unimpeded on Election Day and would prohibit future Quiet Period violations.

The department also seeks remedial mailings to educate eligible voters concerning the restoration of their rights and adequate training of local officials and poll workers to address confusion and distrust among eligible voters accused of being noncitizens.

As it was widely expected, Volodymyr Zelensky’s trip to the US, while perhaps not a complete fiasco, was not nearly as successful as he had hoped for.

His ‘victory plan’ fell flat, was considered nothing but a unfeasible ‘wish list’.

His speech to the UN General Assembly was met by mostly empty seats and, as TGP has reported, he ended up having to beg for a meeting with Republican candidate Donald Trump.

The German magazine ‘Spiegel’ talks about the Ukrainian enduring ‘humiliation and horror’ in his US trip, and reported on Zelensky meeting with Trump.

The publication writes about the actor’s antics by displaying ‘horror on his face’ during his meeting with Trump.

The meeting with the Republican in New York, Spiegel says,  was ‘chilly’ and ‘clearly showed that there is no chemistry between the two men’.

“You could literally see the discomfort on Volodymyr Zelensky’s face as he stood in front of the cameras next to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in New York on Friday.”

Spiegel’s explanation for his theatrical grimace was the ‘discomfort’ with Trump’s statement that Putin wants a ‘fair deal’ and is ready to end the war with Ukraine, and for Trump saying that he has a ‘very good relationship’ with Putin.

But there is another more probable explanation: Zelensky put forward impossible demands in pursuit of the objective of presenting the West as a ‘traitor’ to Ukraine.

The British magazine The Spectator has an interesting article on this disconnect between Zelensky and his western allies – as well as inside Ukraine itself – about what a realistic ‘victory’ would mean for Ukraine.

“Zelensky insists that the bottom line of a Ukrainian victory remains ‘the occupation army [being] driven out by force or diplomatically, in such a way that the country preserves its true independence and is freed from occupation’. He has also rejected the idea of a ceasefire, saying that any ‘freezing of the war or any other manipulations… will simply postpone Russian aggression to a later stage’. Even as Russia continues to steadily advance in Donbas, Zelensky and his lieutenants are still talking about winning.”

Even the warmongers in Washington now focus on a consolidation of the front lines and on imminent peace talks.

They mean to give Kiev ‘a strong position on the battlefield so that they are in a strong position at the negotiating table’.

And most of the present aid is ‘designed to help repair Ukraine’s energy grid, provide food, shelter and medicine and for de-mining’.

“In addition to more weapons, Zelensky’s ‘Victory Plan’ is expected to include permission to use western-supplied missiles against targets inside Russia and fast-track admission to Nato and the European Union.

[…] By Zelensky’s […] logic, anything short of the expulsion of Russian forces from all territory occupied since 2014 constitutes a ‘defeat’. And by extension, Ukraine must continue fighting for as long as it takes until that is achieved, by any means necessary – including, as Ukraine’s new foreign minister Andrii Sybiha suggested last week, drafting some of the million Ukrainian men who have fled abroad. There can be no peace, in other words, without reconquest and the punishment of the aggressors.”

But a narrative of peace and security over victory and justice is emerging in Ukraine itself, because the reality is that the territorial partition of Ukraine has already happened.

“Is Zelensky simply being naive in continuing to insist that Ukraine can actually return to its pre-war borders – or is he, as some of his domestic opponents are suggesting, in fact creating a stab-in-the-back narrative of western betrayal that will allow him to enter talks with Russia without losing face? According to Ukraine’s former prosecutor-general Yurii Lutsenko, an opposition politician and former leader of the Maidan revolution, the ambitious wish list that Zelensky is presenting to Washington is actually designed to be rejected. Without the missiles, planes and Nato membership he demands, Zelensky can plausibly argue that Ukraine has been let down by its allies and has no choice but to negotiate.

[…] Part of Ukrainian society will consider any kind of ceasefire or armistice freezing the conflict along the line of control as a terrible betrayal – a peace without honor. […]  Having a third party on which to lay all the blame – in the form of the West – is a politically useful way of reconciling those Ukrainians who demand peace and those who insist on justice, and could be the key to keeping Ukraine governable after the war’s end.”

Why is Kamala Harris still campaigning for president?

In a normal, functioning democracy, “Border Czar” Kamala Harris would be removed from the presidential campaign and face criminal charges for endangering the lives of EVERY American.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday — A recent ICE report has confirmed the devastating consequences of the Biden-Harris regime’s disastrous open border policies.

According to the report from the Deputy Director of ICE Patrick Lechleitner sent to Congressman Tony Gonzalez, over 662,000 illegal immigrants with criminal histories are currently on ICE’s national docket.

Even more alarming is that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is currently tracking over 425,000 illegal immigrants convicted of various crimes, while 226,000 face pending criminal charges, all of whom have been released into the United States under the regime’s lenient immigration enforcement.

Of that staggering number, over 13,000 illegal immigrants have been convicted of homicide, and more than 15,000 have been convicted of sexual assault.

These individuals are not in custody—they are roaming free in communities across the country, thanks to the administration’s so-called “catch and release” policy.

In other words, these are illegal immigrants who have been caught and released with court dates set years into the future, or, worse, those ordered deported but still residing within our borders.

So when will Kamala Harris, the Border Czar who is responsible for these killers and rapists roaming the streets of America, face criminal charges for her dereliction of duty?

Staten Island’s District 31 Superintendent, Marion Wilson, faced abrupt removal from her position amid accusations of attacking staff and declaring, “No more white principals,” The Post has learned. Wilson, who served for over three years, was ordered out of her office on September 20 and directed to report to the Department of Education’s Manhattan headquarters.

Despite her ouster, Wilson will keep her $230,000 salary and transition to a facilitator role in the Leaders in Education Apprenticeship Program (LEAP), which focuses on promoting racial equity in training future principals.

The New York Post reports,

Marion Wilson, who led District 31 schools for three and a half years, was swept out of her office on Sept. 20, and told to report to the Department of Education’s Tweed headquarters in Manhattan.

Wilson “will be transitioning to a central team,” Danika Rux, deputy chancellor for school leadership, said Monday in an internal announcement, without any explanation for the swift and stunning ouster.

Sources said she will keep her $230,000 salary and serve as “facilitator” in the Leaders in Education pprenticeship Program (LEAP), which prepares teachers to become principals with a focus on racial equity.

DOE officials refused to explain Wilson’s removal, but a school insider said she was caught on tape denouncing district employees.

Wilson’s removal follows mounting allegations of racially charged behavior. An insider revealed that she demeaned her own principals and staff during an unmuted Zoom or Teams call.

Screenshots of texts purportedly from Wilson circulated last year, where she wrote, “No more white principals on my watch!” and insisted, “White folks need to recognize this is not the boys club anymore. A strong black woman runs this b***h now, and they can either get on board or get out.”

Wilson Denies Claims but Faces Investigation

Wilson denied writing the texts and filed a police report, claiming she received threats due to these “false accusations.” The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force began an investigation and assigned her a police escort. However, months later, the investigation failed to identify the author, according to a spokesperson for the Special Commissioner of Investigation (SCI).

New Recordings Reveal Alleged Racial Remarks

Recently, new recordings emerged, capturing a woman identified as Wilson making racially charged statements to Black parents. In one recording, she reiterated, “I said no more white principals. I meant it.” In another, she stated, “Us Black folks got to stick together. Ain’t nobody helping us.” The DOE’s Office of Equal Opportunity received the recordings but dismissed the cases, claiming they found no substantiation, according to DOE spokesman Nathaniel Styer.

SCI Investigation Ends, But New Allegations Surface

The SCI ended its case several months after the texts emerged, saying investigators couldn’t identify the author. Following this, recordings surfaced with a woman identified as Wilson making racially charged remarks to Black parents. A complainant sent the audio clips to The Post, where Wilson reportedly said, “I said no more white principals. I meant it.” In another clip, she stated, “Us Black folks got to stick together. Ain’t nobody helping us.”

The SCI didn’t investigate these recordings but referred them to the DOE’s Office of Equal Opportunity. The DOE dismissed the allegations, with spokesman Nathaniel Styer saying, “The cases involving these allegations were not substantiated.” Wilson hasn’t responded to requests for comment on the recordings.

Heather Jansen, a white principal, claims Wilson removed her unfairly from PS 46 in June 2023. Jansen’s discrimination lawsuit against the DOE is still pending.

Border Czar Kamala Harris visited the southern border in Douglas, Arizona, on Friday and claimed that she will “do more to secure our border” after creating the worst border crisis in history.

We know this isn’t true because if she had any intention of securing the border, she would do it now.

As President Trump has repeatedly said, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could close the border immediately by signing an executive order.

President Trump decried Kamala’s planned visit on Thursday, saying, “She should save her airfare. She should go back to the White House and tell the president to close the border.” He continued, “Instead, she’s going there to try and convince people that she wasn’t as bad as everybody knows she was. She was the worst in history!”

Kamala, in her speech, blamed Trump for the open border, claiming he "tanked" the so-called border security bill that she and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer backed, which would give amnesty to illegals and still allow millions to cross the border each year.

Notably, while claiming that she will pursue criminal charges against illegal border crossers, Kamala makes it clear that she will continue to do nothing to stop bogus asylum claims and the influx of illegal immigrants through ports of entry. "If someone does not make an asylum request at a legal point of entry and instead crosses our border unlawfully, they will be barred from receiving asylum," Kamala says, implicitly stating that nothing will change. If illegals self-surrender to Border Patrol agents and claim asylum, they will still be allowed into the country, as they currently are under Biden and Harris.

After processing and not deporting illegals at the border, a Kamala Harris Administration will continue to take these people to airports and bus stations to be transported around the country.

Harris made an appearance at the border for a few minutes to take some photos and make it look like she cares. She also delivered remarks at Cochise College on Friday, ironically, with "Border Security and Stability" signs behind her.

Harris: And as President, I won't only bring back the border security bill that Donald Trump tanked, I will do more to secure our border. To reduce illegal border crossings, I will take further action to keep the border closed between ports of entry. Those who cross our borders unlawfully will be apprehended and removed and barred from reentering for five years. We will pursue more severe criminal charges against repeat violators, and if someone does not make an asylum request at a legal point of entry and instead crosses our border unlawfully, they will be barred from receiving asylum While we understand that many people are desperate to migrate to the United States, our system must be orderly and secure. And that is my goal. And that is my goal.

Harris toured Trump's border wall, which she's previously called racist, for only a few minutes for the cameras:

National Border Patrol Council VP Art Del Cueto slammed Kamala's last-minute "Hail Mary before the election." "she was there for 20 minutes for a photo op. That's all she did," Del Cueto said.

In contrast, President Trump has visited the border countless times over the last eight years and "stood there for over an hour in over 100-degree heat with victims of families from illegal aliens, and he spoke to reporters," he said.

Del Cueto: She didn't speak to agents. She spoke to two members of management, and I'm going to tell you, I bet money that even those two members—I feel bad for them because I guarantee you they didn't even want to be there. But she spoke to these two members of management, and she was there for 20 minutes for a photo op. That's all she did. President Trump actually cares, and he's actually gone down there and met with boots on the ground, and he's done it multiple times for long times every single time he's been there. This is just nothing but a complete photo op. That's all it is, it's her Hail Mary, before the election.
