In the world of “conspiracy theorists” the concept of fiat currency has long been anathema. “The second biggest reason for inquiries lately has been the possible outcomes of auditing Fort Knox,” said Jonathan Rose, CEO of Genesis Gold Group. “A whole lot of people believe that regardless of what President Trump and Elon Musk find there, that gold and silver prices are going to skyrocket.”

They may be right. While most analysists are still looking to gold prices hitting between $3,300 and $3,700 in 2025, some are thinking it’s going to go a lot higher than that in the next 6-12 months depending on what is found — or not found — at Fort Knox.

The mysteries and excuses associated with massive shipments of gold from London to New York have also been on the minds of many Americans concerned about their financial future.

“There’s that plus the fact that Russia and China are scrambling to accumulate gold right now,” Rose noted. “Between the nations making moves with gold and central banks doing the same, Americans are increasingly wanting physical precious metals to back their retirement.”

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the Trump Administration from reinstating its federal spending freeze.

US District Judge Loren AliKhan, a Biden appointee, sided with the plaintiffs suing Trump and continued to block Trump’s OMB from freezing federal funds.

Last month, Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) put a temporary pause of agency grants, loans and other financial assistance programs.

“The American people elected Donald J. Trump to be President of the United States and gave him a mandate to increase the impact of every federal taxpayer dollar. In Fiscal Year 2024,of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans,” the OMB said.

“This memorandum requires Federal agencies to identify and review all Federal financial assistance programs and supporting activities consistent with the President’s policies and requirements,” the OMB memo said.

This temporary pause will provide the Administration time to review agency programs and determine the best uses of the funding for those programs consistent with the law and the President’s priorities. The temporary pause will become effective on January 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Even before completing their comprehensive analysis, Federal agencies must immediately identify any legally mandated actions or deadlines for assistance programs arising while the pause remains in effect. Federal agencies must report this information to OMB along with ananalysis of the requirement. OMB also directs Federal agencies to pause all activities associated with open NOFOs, such as conducting merit review panels,” the OMB added.

On Tuesday Judge AliKhan scolded the Trump Admin and said the OMB has not given a “reasonable explanation” for why it needs to freeze federal funds.

“The scope of power OMB seeks to claim is ‘breathtaking,’ and its ramifications are massive,” Judge AliKhan wrote according to CBS News. “Because there is no clear statutory hook for this broad assertion of power, plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits of this claim.”

“Defendants still cannot provide a reasonable explanation for why they needed to freeze all federal financial assistance in less than a day to ‘safeguard valuable taxpayer resources,’” AliKhan added.

CBS News reported:

A federal judge on Tuesday continued to block the Office of Management and Budget from freezing federal assistance, delivering another blow to the Trump administration’s ongoing efforts to shrink federal spending.

Judge Loren AliKhan from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled in favor of a group of nonprofit organizations in finding that they are likely to succeed in their challenge to the pause on all federal grants, loans and other federal assistance programs. The judge found that the nonprofits proved that the “funding freeze would be economically catastrophic — and in some circumstances, fatal — to their members” and agreed to grant their request for a preliminary injunction while the case plays out.

AliKhan had previously issued a temporary restraining order that prevented the Trump administration from freezing federal assistance while she considered the nonprofits’ request for injunctive relief. The judge held a hearing on their motion last week.

Conservative journalist and activist Nick Sortor ambushed California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell with the kind of hard-hitting questions the mainstream media refuses to ask.

While he has repeatedly smeared Musk as a “fascist” and a “national security threat,” he went silent when confronted by Sortor about his own compromised national security risk—his well-documented intimate ties to a Chinese spy.

According to Sortor, Swalwell met with lobbyists at the Four Seasons restaurant on Monday evening and allegedly boasted about cheating on his wife, orgies on Capitol Hill, and abusing his power as a Congressman.

Footage uploaded to the X platform by Sortor shows him confronting Swalwell about his past relationship with Fang Fang, who was later revealed to be a spy for the Chinese Communist Party.

Sortor also questions Swalwell about his comments about Elon Musk, who he has described as a “fascist.”

It is not the first time that Swalwell has been caught enjoying the high life at the Four Seasons.

Campaign filings from the previous election cycle show that Swalwell used money donated to his campaign to fund fancy dinners at Four Seasons steakhouse, a visit to the iconic Burj-Al-Arab hotel in Dubai, and even his own childcare costs.

It is not the first time that Sortor has engaged in this kind of conservative activism.

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) suffered a concussion, seizure, and a slight brain bleed after slipping on ice in his backyard.

In a Facebook post, Cramer wrote, “Late yesterday afternoon, I walked to my backyard intending to retrieve a piece of conduit which came off my dock and was laying on the ice. While walking on the hill down to the dock, I stepped on ice and evidently fell hard, hitting the back of my head.”

After the fall, Cramer was rushed to the Sanford Health emergency room, where he underwent tests.

Cramer revealed, “After seeing the emergency doctor, taking some tests, including a CT Scan, and seeing a neurologist, I was diagnosed with a severe concussion, a seizure, and a slight brain bleed.”

“I am better today with only a slight brain bleed and pretty bad headaches. Doctors prefer I rest a little longer before returning to DC,” added Cramer.

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) took a hard fall in his home state after slipping on ice Sunday, suffering “a severe concussion, a seizure, and a slight brain bleed,” and is taking it “day to day” before returning to his congressional duties.

Cramer, 64, revealed in a Monday Facebook post that he slipped on a frozen hill in his backyard while doing some cleanup around his lake house.

“While walking on the hill down to the dock, I stepped on ice and evidently fell hard, hitting the back of my head,” he said.

The Republican said he blacked out until he was brought to a local emergency room, accompanied by his wife, Kris.

Yet another leftist judge has overstepped his authority to shut down a crucial part of President Trump’s agenda.

As The Associated Press reported on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead, a Biden appointee in Seattle, blocked Trump’s attempts to stop the federal refugee resettlement program, which has been abused for years by Democrat administrations and refugees themselves.

In his ruling, Whitehead said that Trump’s actions were an “effective nullification of congressional will” in setting up the nation’s refugee admissions program.

“The president has substantial discretion … to suspend refugee admissions,” Whitehead stated. “But that authority is not limitless.”

The plaintiffs involved in this garbage lawsuit include the International Refugee Assistance Project, the Jewish refugee resettlement agency HIAS, Lutheran Community Services Northwest, and individual refugees and family members. They claimed unless Trump’s order was reversed, they would have great difficulty providing services to refugees.

Trump lawyers, though, rightfully pointed out the president had explicit constitutional authority to deny entry to foreign nationals who “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States” if allowed into the country.

Last month, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14155, titled “Realigning the United States Refugee Admissions Program,” which suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) effective January 27, 2025.

This order stopped the entry of refugees into America and barred federal funding to organizations assisting refugees, including those already in the country. The suspension is to remain in effect until a determination is made that resuming the program is aligned with U.S. interests.

The AP also notes that Trump temporarily stopped the refugee resettlement program during his first term and significantly decreased the number of refugees who could enter America each year.

News of this outrageous travesty also comes after the Trump administration won a similar ruling last week. As The Gateway Pundit reported, a federal judge rejected the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) that would have forced the administration to restore funding immediately.

The lawsuit, filed by the non-profit organization USCCB in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, challenged the Trump administration’s decision to cut off federal grants that fuel the mass resettlement of migrants across America—programs that have operated for decades with little oversight.

The lawsuit names the State Department, the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as defendants.

That case faces another hearing Friday, according to the AP.
