A seemingly very racist MSNBC guest called black conservatives “chickens for Colonel Sanders” while attacking Rep. Byron Donalds on Friday.

Wajahat Ali made the absurd comments while appearing on far-left commentator Joy Reid’s show, The ReidOut.

The panel was discussing how President Donald Trump gave Donalds his full endorsement for the Florida gubernatorial race, even though he has not officially entered.

Ali mocked the endorsement, saying, “You know, every community has what I call their chickens for Colonel Sanders. Muslims had their halal chickens. The Black community has their chickens.”

The commentator continued, “And what I want to tell the Byron Donalds and every community that’s got a Byron Donalds – I got a Kash Patel. We got a we got a Nimrata, you know, the Haley. We all got ’em. All right. What I want to say is this: They’ll never love you. They’ll never love you. No matter what you do. They’ll never love you. You can never wipe out that brown or Black skin.”

On Thursday, Trump posted on Truth Social urging Donalds to run for the office currently held by Ron DeSantis.

The president wrote:

I know Byron well, have seen him tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and he is a TOTAL WINNER! Byron has a great wife, Erika, and three beautiful sons. They are very proud of him! As Governor, Byron would have a BIG Voice, and would work closely with me to advance our America First Agenda. He will fight tirelessly to Secure our Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Military, Protect our Vets, Restore our Economic Power, Advance American Energy DOMINANCE, and Defend our always-under-siege Second Amendment.

Byron Donalds would be a truly Great and Powerful Governor for Florida and, should he decide to run, will have my Complete and Total Endorsement. RUN, BYRON, RUN!

Members of the corporate media ignore President Trump’s stories of heroism and generosity toward his fellow human beings. One recent tale, though, may be the most unbelievable story of all, and it comes from a somewhat surprising source.

Earlier this month, legendary TV presenter Kathie Lee Gifford sat down with Sage Steele to discuss her Christian faith, family and her incredible career. Toward the beginning of their interview, she surprised Steele with an astonishing story revealing how Trump saved her and her newborn daughter from a “psychopathic murderer” just over three decades ago.

This is a story she had never before shared with anyone.

“31 years ago…I was supposed to be going to host the ‘Miss America’ pageant. The FBI called my husband, and they said, ‘Mr. Gifford, we have a problem. There’s this guy. This is a very, very bad human being. Was a psychopathic murderer…a rapist and murderer. And he’s coming to get your wife,’” she explained to Steele.

Gifford, who had just months ago given birth to her daughter Cassidy, went on to say the stalker had r*ped and tortured his aunt though she fortunately had managed to escape and contact the police. After tormenting his relative, he turned his attention to Gifford.

“He left. He stole her keys and told her, ‘Now I’m going to go after Kathie Lee,’” she revealed.

The FBI then asked her then-husband to keep his schedule and hers. But Mr. Gifford would not agree until he made one phone call.

“And he called Donald,” Kathie Lee Gifford said.

Gifford went on to explain that she had always stayed at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, which is how her family knew him.

“Frank called Donald and said, ‘Donald, we’ve got this situation,’” Gifford recalled.

“And this is why I will love this man for my whole life,” she explained while crying. “He said, ‘Frank, don’t you worry about it. I’ve got your girls. I’ve got your girls. And don’t you worry.’”

“And so Frank called back the FBI and said, ‘I called Donald Trump. He says he’s going to take care of my wife and my daughter.’”

Trump later called Gifford, who was unaware of the danger to herself, and told her that he was sending his helicopter to take her to his hotel, which left Gifford shocked, and she tried to talk him out of it. But Trump remained firm.

“I said, ‘Donald, why? He said, “Because you’ve had a baby,’ Gifford said. “I said, ‘Donald, women have babies every day. It’s no big deal. Thank you. But it’s no big deal.’

“And he goes, ‘No, congratulations. So happy for you … I’m sending my helicopter for you and your baby and your nanny.’”

After she arrived in Atlantic City, Gifford revealed that “four major, major, members of Trump’s security team” came to greet her.

‘They said, ‘Mrs. Gifford, Mr. Trump wants you to know that we’re here for you,’” Gifford said. “I didn’t know what they were talking about!”

Gifford explained that she had just had a baby and that “more and more” security guards arrived to protect her in the days leading up to the pageant. She was also stunned that a guy stood outside her hotel room the whole week.

“I just never thought about it, you know?” she said. “I’m just stupid. But he never said a word. Nobody said a word to me.”

But she discovered why Trump went to such great lengths to protect her when she went downstairs and read the newspaper. The truth absolutely shocked her.

“It (newspaper headline) said ‘Kathie Lee Gifford, Death Threat.’ And I went, ‘What!’” she explained.

She then grew defiant and used colorful language when speaking to the pageant organizers, determined to proceed regardless of any potential danger.

“And then I understood everything,” Gifford continued. “I understood what Donald had done. I understood what Frank had done to try to say, you know, not be afraid and all of that.”

Gifford went to the pageant and was taken home a different route. She also later realized that an FBI officer had been protecting her then 3-year-old son Cody at her Connecticut home.

The following day, Gifford received the news every victim prays for. While she and Cody were at a local theater watching a movie, she was informed by the FBI that the stalker had been arrested.

“In the middle of the movie, one of the FBI guys comes over and goes, ‘Mrs. Gifford, we got this son of a b***h,’” she recalled, “I said, ‘Thank you so much.’”

When President Trump left office he had the lowest illegal immigration numbers in recorded history.

Joe Biden quickly changed that and opened the borders to a sea of illegal aliens like nothing the world has ever seen!

When President Trump entered office on January 20, 2025, he signed numerous executive orders and shut down the border.  President Trump restarted construction of the border wall.  And President Trump started to round up violent illegal aliens and return them to their home countries.

In one month, President Trump has shut down the open Biden border.

Approximately 5,400 probationary workers are expected to be fired from the Pentagon beginning next week.

Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Darin Selnick announced the cut back of the workforce in a statement on Friday evening.

“We anticipate reducing the Department’s civilian workforce by 5-8% to produce efficiencies and refocus the Department on the President’s priorities and restoring readiness in the force,” Selnick said.

Selnick’s statement continued, “We expect approximately 5,400 probationary workers will be released beginning next week as part of this initial effort, after which we will implement a hiring freeze while we conduct a further analysis of our personnel needs, complying as always with all applicable laws.”

On Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth posted a video to social media hinting at the upcoming layoffs.

Hegseth stated it is “not in the public interest to retain individuals whose contributions are not mission critical.”

“Taxpayers deserve to have us take a really thorough look at our workforce top to bottom — and it will be top to bottom — to see where we can find and eliminate redundancy,” he said.

The Hill reports:

“While there is no official figure available of the total firings or layoffs, it’s known that several thousand federal employees have been shown the door in President Trump’s first month of presidency, including 1,000 from the Department of Veterans Affairs let go last week.”

The Donald J. Trump administration has been described as running a ‘good cop-bad cop’ strategy toward the embattled Ukrainian leadership: while the President and many of his top aides are lambasting Volodymyr Zelensky and asking for new elections, the special envoy, retired Gen. Keith Kellogg, was able to make significant progress alongside Kiev.

It’s now been reported that the US is close to a deal with Ukraine for access to hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of mineral rights.

New York Post reported:

“Kellogg, believed to be one of the few Trump administration officials still supportive of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, began his two-day trip back to the US without confirming a deal that the White House has pushed hard for — but which high-level officials in Zelensky’s government view as a shakedown.”

President Trump announced at the White House that the US and Ukraine would sign an agreement soon.

“’It’s a big deal, but they want it, and it keeps us in that country, and they’re very happy about it’, Trump added later. ‘We get our money back. This should have been signed long before we went in. It should have been signed by [former President Joe] Biden’.

After a tense week of back-and-forth barbs between Washington and Kyiv, it was Kellogg’s visit Friday to wounded Ukrainian veterans at Irpin Military Hospital northwest of Kyiv that ingratiated the US to Zelensky, nudging the deal closer to the finish line, sources familiar with the situation told The Post.”

Kellogg also published a post praising Zelensky publicly.

“’A long and intense day with the senior leadership of Ukraine’, Kellogg wrote on his personal X account following a round of meetings Thursday. ‘Extensive and positive discussions with @ZelenskyyUa, the embattled and courageous leader of a nation at war and his talented national security team’.”

Of course, what is lacking from Kellogg’s post is any mention to the usual narrative about the ‘unprovoked’ Russian aggression.

After the failed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s trip to Ukraine, Kellogg has achieved a positive movement in the negotiations.

Former Ukrainian President Poroshenko, expected to run against Zelensky whenever there is a next presidential election in Kiev:

“’A discussion with Trump requires diplomatic skill, patience and silence, sufficient not to reflect on his every statement’, he said. ‘I worked with him for three years and know what I’m talking about. The authorities should work on the mistakes and figure out [who failed] in building relations with the new American administration. Who, instead of building bridges, burned them? Now the government’s problems in communication with Washington have become a problem for our entire country’.”
