A massive fire erupted in North Fort Worth following an explosion at a power substation on Wednesday evening, prompting voluntary evacuations in the surrounding area.

Emergency crews responded promptly to the incident. No injuries have been reported.

The explosion’s cause remains under investigation, with authorities urging residents to avoid the area and adhere to any evacuation advisories.

“The Fort Worth Fire Department Public Information Officer (PIO) will be on scene of the large fire at the electrical substation off Seventeen Lakes Boulevard/Henrietta Creek Road in north Fort Worth,” Fort Worth Fire Department said in a statement on social media.

“This is a very active scene with multiple first responders on scene. Please avoid the area and leave room for emergency vehicles.”

“Additional FWFD crews are joining crews already on scene, as well as the Saginaw FD. The PIO will be compiling all known details and providing them soon. Again, we urge the public to please avoid this area for their safety and the safety of the first responders,” the post read.

CBS News reported:

The incident off Seventeen Lakes Boulevard and Henrietta Creek Road was reported at about 7:15 p.m.

Just before 10 p.m., Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Craig Trojacek said firefighters were in a “holding position,” determining the next step of whether to let the blaze continue burning or suppress it.

Trojacek said 20 homes were approached, but there was no mandatory evacuation.

An investigation will be conducted, but Trojacek stated there was no immediate evidence of foul play.

Structure fire in Studio City

Eco-terrorism?

A new fire in Los Angeles erupted late Wednesday night shortly after a fire exploded in the Hollywood Hills.

Several structures are on fire in Studio City.

A spox for the LAFD told KTLA the Hollywood Hills fire and Studio City fire are not connected.

KTLA reported:

A four-story structure fire in Studio City erupted and quickly spread to nearby hillside homes on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the fire on the 3000 block of North Sunswept Drive at 8:52 p.m., saying the residence was “well involved in fire with exposures and vegetation.”

The four-story home collapsed from the flames and the wind picked up the embers to nearby brush, according to officials.

“We did just have the winds pick up again so we are seeing some ember casting from that four-story structure,” Adam Vangerpen, a spokesperson with LAFD, told KTLA around 9:30 p.m. “Our hope is to hit it hard, and we’re trying to keep it out of the brush right now.”

Vangerpen said this fire was not connected to the Sunset Fire currently burning in the Hollywood Hills.

A massive fire broke out in the Hollywood Hills near Runyon Canyon and the “Hollywood” sign Wednesday night.

The new fire dubbed “The Sunset Fire” came out of nowhere and exploded.

JUST THREE MONTHS AGO: Trump Talked About California’s Water Problem and Wildfires on the Joe Rogan Podcast (VIDEO)

Add this story to the ‘Trump was right again’ pile.

Just three months ago, when Trump appeared on the Joe Rogan Podcast, he talked to Joe about the ongoing issue of water dispersal in California and about how the state could stop wildfires by clearing dead trees from forests.

He suggested that the state actually has more than enough water to deal with these and other issues such as farming, but progressive environmental policies are standing in the way.

Transcript via the American Presidency Project:

TRUMP:—Los Angeles, you can’t get proper amounts of water and it’s unbelievably expensive, and you might have a house in Beverly Hills, and they’re actually thinking about rationing water. Can you believe it?

ROGAN: I could believe it. I used to live there.

TRUMP: I was, I was in the farm country with some of the congressmen. We’re driving up a highway and I say, “How come all this land is so barren?” It’s farmland and it looked terrible. It was just brown and bad. I said, “But there’s always that little corner that’s so green and beautiful.” They said, “We have no water.” I said, “Do you have a drought?” “No, we don’t have a drought.” I said, “Why don’t you have no water?” Because the water isn’t allowed to flow down. It’s got a natural flow from Canada all the way up north of water, more water than they could ever use. And in order to protect a tiny little fish, the water up north gets routed into the Pacific Ocean. Millions and millions of gallons of water gets poured…

TRUMP: You could have all of the water you need, all of that land would have more water. The whole thing could be like that little patch. Literally, literally I’d say—I was with Devin Nunes, a congressman and other congressmen, we were going up. I was visiting them because they asked me to go up and visit their territory and I did. But I kept saying, “Look at this land. It’s beautiful, but it’s so dry.” And I thought they were going through like a desert like a drought. They said, “No, we have water, but it gets—” So I looked into it.

ROGAN: What is the fish?

TRUMP: And I got it done. I got it done. I could have water for all of that land, water for your forests. you know, Your forests are dry as a bone, okay?

ROGAN: Yeah. Dangerous.

TRUMP: That water could be routed. you know, You could have everything. Not only dangerous, billions of dollars a year they spend on forest fires. And you know, there’s a case with the environment. They’re not allowed to rake their forests because you’re not allowed to touch it. When a tree falls down, after 18 months it becomes very dry. It’s like you know, real firewood. It’s bad.

Here’s the clip:

Trump was right, but the usual suspects couldn’t allow Trump to be right.

And now we see the real impact of all of this as California is battling the worst fires in a generation and their fire hydrants are empty. It’s madness.

There has been a lot of criticism of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) policies recently but this has been going on for years.

Several years ago, comedian Adam Carolla told a story under testimony that he once applied to become a firefighter in Los Angeles but was told he would have to wait years to even take the test because he is a white male.

This is a perfect example of how these policies are destructive. These areas in California are complaining that they don’t have enough firefighters. Is there any wonder why?

OutKick has details:

Adam Carolla Says He Was Rejected From LA Fire Department Because Of His Race

Most reasonable people would also assume that for something as important as fighting fires, politics would take a backseat to creating the most prepared, efficient, effective force possible. But reasonable people generally don’t exist in Los Angeles government.

One such tragically hilarious example came 8 years ago in Congressional testimony from comedian and podcast host Adam Carolla. Carolla explained that he applied to be a firefighter for Los Angeles earlier in his life and was told he had to wait 7 years to return to take the examination because he wasn’t a member of a racial or gender minority.

“Geez. I want to talk about my white privilege so badly,” he said. “I graduated North Hollywood High with a 1.7 GPA and could not find a job. I walked to a fire station. I was 19 and living in the garage of my family home and my mom was on welfare and food stamps. I said, ‘Can I get a job as a fireman?’ and they said, ‘No, because you’re not black, Hispanic or a woman and we’ll see you in about 7 years.’”…

“I had a young woman of color standing behind me in line, and I said to her, ‘Just out of curiosity, when did you sign up to become a fire man?’ … she said, ‘Wednesday.’ That is an example of my white privilege.”

Watch the video below:

It’s just maddening. These fires represent the failure of these destructive policies.

Fire explodes in Hollywood Hills, California

Eco-terrorism?

A new fire erupted in the Hollywood Hills near the “Hollywood” sign Wednesday evening.

There is a mandatory evacuation for Runyon Canyon and the Hollywood Hills.

The new fire dubbed “The Sunset Fire” came out of nowhere and exploded.

Aerial view of the new Hollywood Hills brushfire:

Runyon Canyon is on fire.

Numerous fires have been burning in the greater Los Angeles area since Tuesday and are still at zero percent containment.

Thanks to Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and LA’s Democrat Mayor Karen Bass, the fire hydrants are dry.

Karen Bass slashed fire department funding by $17.6 million a few months before the fires.

Governor Newsom and the state’s Democrat legislators do not allow for proper forest management so years of dry brush build up and fires explode with the gusty Santa Ana winds.

As President Trump previously pointed out, Newsom also refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water to flow through the state.

The result?

California looks like a Martian wasteland.

DEVELOPING…
