The man likely to replace Senator Mitch McConnell in Kentucky is now trashing his former mentor’s record.

Daniel Cameron, who was formerly mentored by McConnell and served as Kentucky’s attorney general from 2020 to 2024, has called McConnell’s efforts to sabotage Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees as “flat out wrong.”

In a video posted to the X platform, Cameron said that

I’m going to be the kind of Senator that stands up for your constitutional rights and supports Donald Trump’s America First agenda.

Now what we saw from Mitch McConnell in voting against Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard and RFK was just flat out wrong.

You should expect a Senator from Kentucky to vote for those nominees and advance the America First agenda.

If I was in the Senate, I would have voted for those nominees because I recognize it reflects your values and supports that agenda.

Now, I’m not just saying these things, you know my track record. As attorney general, I was fighting for your constiutional rights,I was the first attorney general in the nation to stand up and oppose ESG and I have been a vocal opponent of DEI.

I was the first elected officeholder here in Kentucky to endorse Donald Trump for re-election.  Because I believe in him and I believe in the America First agenda.

And when it comes to Ukraine funding, enough is enough. Let’s quit sending money overseas and let’s take care of our people here in Kentucky and across this great nation.

Having served as the Republican leader in the Senate for 18 years, McConnell was finally forced to step down this election cycle.

Despite endorsing Trump in all three of his presidential runs, McConnell is notorious for his blatant acts of sabotage against the president, including his recent attempts to block his cabinet nominees.

Earlier this month, McConnell said he was still “very upset” with Trump because of the January 6th protests.

“We haven’t spoken for quite a while,” he said in a recent interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes. “I was very upset about what happened January 6.”

A federal board paused the firings of 6 probationary employees after fired Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger ruled their firings were illegal.

President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with a special counsel hired as a federal prosecutor) a few weeks ago.

However, shortly after the firing, corrupt Obama Judge Amy Berman Jackson sided with Hampton Dellinger, issued an administrative stay, and allowed him to keep his job.

President Trump filed an emergency application to the US Supreme Court, however, the high court held Trump’s emergency request “in abeyance”, which means that the court could make a decision at a later date.

Emboldened by the Supreme Court’s refusal to intervene, Hampton Dellinger is now attacking President Trump’s decision to terminate “probationary” employees.

In a statement released on Monday, Hampton Dellinger said some of Trump’s firings of probationary employees appear to be illegal.

“Last Friday, Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger filed initial requests to “stay,” or pause, the apparently impermissible terminations of six probationary employees across various executive branch agencies. The requests, filed with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), seek a 45-day stay of the terminations because there are reasonable grounds to believe that agencies engaged in prohibited personnel practices (PPPs) under 5 U.S.C. § 2302(b)(12) by terminating the employees in violation of federal laws and regulations governing probationary terminations and reductions in force,” Hampton Dellinger’s office said.

“Since the Civil Service Reform Act was passed in 1978, the merit system principles have guided how federal government agencies hire, manage, and, if necessary, remove federal employees. These principles establish that all federal employees, including those in a probationary status, should be evaluated based on individual performance,” Dellinger said.

Dellinger added: “Firing probationary employees without individualized cause appears contrary to a reasonable reading of the law, particularly the provisions establishing rules for reductions in force. Because Congress has directed that OSC ‘shall’ protect government employees from PPPs, I believe I have a responsibility to request a stay of these actions while my agency continues to investigate further the apparent violation of federal personnel laws.”

Late Tuesday evening, the Merit Systems Protection Board ordered a 45 day stay on Trump’s firings of 6 employees.

The federal agency will also explore ways to expand the order to halt firings of other probationary employees.

A U.S. agency on Tuesday halted the terminations of six federal government employees who U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration targeted in its mass firings of probationary workers.

The Merit Systems Protection Board, an independent agency that hears appeals by government employees when they are fired or disciplined, issued the decision, opens new tab at the behest of a watchdog agency whose leader’s removal by Trump has been stalled by the courts.

While the decision to stay the six employees’ terminations for 45 days only applies to a handful of the thousands of probationary federal employees recently fired, their lawyers said they hoped to expand the order to cover others.

A dramatic hearing unfolded in a DC federal court Wednesday morning as the TRO blocking the Trump Admin from firing Hampton Dellinger expires.

The Democrat dubbed “America’s worst mayor” will no longer hold the title after getting obliterated for re-election last night, a month after brawling with her constituents.

As The New York Post reported, the antics and illegal behavior finally caught up to scandal-plagued Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard at the ballot box where she suffered a landslide loss in Democratic primary. Her opponent, Village Trustee Jason House, won almost 88% of the votes while Henyard could barely manage 12%.

Making things even more embarrassing for Henyard, FOX 32 reported earlier in the day that she said she had “no competition” and would win in a “landslide.”

“Well, I see no competition, so when I come in with a landslide this evening, (it will) be so great,” Henyard crowed. “Y’all can all come to the after-party, and we can talk about it.”

House, who was once a Henyard ally, dunked on her following his huge win.

“The voters have spoken. They’ve spoken in a loud way,” House told CBS Chicago.

And I’ve said it before — I’ll always say it — this does not represent Dolton. We had one rogue individual,” he added. “Dolton is proud, and we are happy that we’re ready to change the narrative.”

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on allegations and investigations against Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard dubbed “the worst mayor in America.”

Just last month, Henyard got into a physical fight with local activists during a town hall meeting.

The fighting broke out after a community activist insulted Henyard. At that point, Henyard’s boyfriend confronted the activist, leading to a physical altercation.

Upon seeing that her boyfriend had gotten involved, Henyard then pushed her table aside and ran to the back of the room to join the fisticuffs.

One of Henyard’s former assistants has also accused the disgraced mayor of “unethical and predatory behavior.”

Henyard has consistently abused her power after she shut down businesses that didn’t donate to her campaign, catching the attention of the FBI.

While investigations were ongoing, Henyard reportedly spent $85,000 on a party in August featuring R&B singer Keke Wyatt and rapper J. Holiday. According to media reports, only 70 people attended.

One of Henyard’s former assistants has also accused the disgraced mayor of “unethical and predatory behavior.”

An American Airlines flight en route from Boston to DC had to abort a landing at Reagan International Airport on Tuesday.

According to reports, the pilot decided to “perform a go-around maneuver” after he saw another plane on the runway at DCA.

A passenger described the incident to Boston 25 News.

“It was scary as we were approaching landing, over the Potomac, I could see the runway. I heard the wheels coming down, and then suddenly the plane accelerated going up,” A passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 2246 told Boston 25 News. “The plane ascended. A minute later, the pilot got on the speaker and said, ‘Another plane was approaching, so we had to change course abruptly, and out of an abundance of caution, we had to re-route.’”

Separately on Tuesday, a flight landing at Chicago’s Midway had to abort a landing to avoid colliding with a private jet taxiing on the runway.

Fox News reported:

An American Airlines jet aborted a landing at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., to avoid a collision with another plane on Tuesday morning, aviation officials said.

The flight was making its final descent at 8:20 a.m. ET when the pilot saw another plane preparing to take off from the runway and made the quick decision to perform a go-around maneuver, in which the pilot pulled up and ascended toward the skies, to avoid the other aircraft, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The FAA said the maneuver was made to “ensure separation was maintained between this aircraft and a preceding departure from the same runway.”

American Airlines told Fox News Digital in a statement that the flight “landed safely and normally at DCA after it was instructed by Air Traffic Control to complete a standard go-around to allow another aircraft more time for takeoff.”
