BACKFIRE: Americans Respond With Ferocity After John Cornyn Lashes Out at “Keyboard Warrior-Geniuses and Grifters” Pushing the SAVE America Act

A sour Senator John Cornyn (RINO-TX) decided on Saturday to go after Americans who have consistently pushed to change the Senate rules to pass the SAVE America Act, and it quickly backfired on him.

As TGP readers know, the SAVE Act is an absolutely critical measure that requires every American to show ID to cast a ballot. It also requires proof of citizenship BEFORE registering to vote.

Democrats are in meltdown mode because, should the measure pass, they will find stealing elections far more challenging.

Patriots such as Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and activist Scott Presler have been pushing the Senate to adopt a “talking filibuster” to give advocates a chance to pass the much-needed election bill or, at the very least, force the Democrats to hold the floor.

But Cornyn made it clear he considers these patriots nothing but “grifters and keyboard-warrior geniuses.”

“I marvel at the keyboard warrior-geniuses and grifters who are ignorant of Senate rules and precedents who have miraculously become experts in its arcane rules,” Cornyn wrote.

“Promising the moon and stars and yet destining Republicans for failure is a very effective way to demoralize our base and elect more Democrats in the midterms.”

Upon seeing Cornyn’s tweet, Americans were quick to fire back with some very harsh replies.

Please get back to work. We beg of you to stay in DC, forgo the recess, and fight with everything you’ve got left to do the will of your voters. If the effort fails, let it have nothing to do with you. We would honor that.
