The people of Los Angeles really need to fire Mayor Karen Bass.

As it is now widely known, Mayor Bass was traveling in Africa when the incredibly destructive fires broke out in the city weeks ago. When she finally made it back to LA, she was questioned by a reporter and stood there silently, unable or unwilling to explain herself.

Now, weeks later, she has done a TV interview where she explained that she is launching an investigation into why she was allowed to go on her Africa trip when people knew there was a possibility of fires.

Is this the most absurd thing you have ever heard? Is it close?

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who has come under intense scrutiny for traveling to Africa last month amid a botched fire response, is deflecting blame on the controversial trip.

“I felt absolutely terrible not being here for my city,” Bass, a Democrat, told a Fox 11 Los Angeles reporter in a recent interview.

“Would I say it was a mistake, absolutely. The idea that I was not present was very painful,” she added, saying that proper “preparation didn’t happen” to notify her ahead of the Ghana trip.

She said she would not have even traveled south to San Diego had she been given the proper “preparation” about the fire danger.

“It didn’t reach that level to me to say ‘Something terrible could happen and maybe you shouldn’t have gone on the trip,’” the Democrat added.

“I think that’s one of the things we need to look at, everything that happened, including that, needs to be examined,” she continued, revealing that there are at least two investigations into the city’s response to the fires.

A former NFL punter was dragged out of a city council meeting in California by police while claiming that supporting President Donald Trump is “explicitly a Nazi movement.”

Former Minnesota Viking and UCLA Bruin Chris Kluwe flipped out about the president during Tuesday’s Huntington Beach city council meeting.

Kluwe was protesting a MAGA plaque installed near the local library.

“I’m gonna take my time to say what MAGA has stood for these past three weeks,” Kluwe said.

The former football player continued, “MAGA stands for trying to erase trans people from existence. MAGA stands for resegregation and racism. MAGA stands for censorship and book bans. MAGA stands for firing air traffic controllers while planes are crashing. MAGA stands for firing the people overseeing our nuclear arsenal.”

“MAGA stands for firing military veterans and those serving them at the VA, including canceling research on veteran suicide,” Kluwe continued. “MAGA stands for cutting funds for education, including for disabled children. MAGA is profoundly corrupt, unmistakenly anti-democracy, and most importantly, MAGA is explicitly a Nazi movement.”

“You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that is what it is,” he said before announcing, “I will now engage in the time-honored American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience.”

Kluwe’s protest did not last long, as he was approached by police and handcuffed.

Kluwe has been charged with disrupting an assembly.

This story is absolutely hilarious.

We first heard about this back in December, but there were not as many details. Now, Sean Spicer has shared the entire saga with Glenn Beck.

In a nutshell, back in the fall of 2021, Spicer was serving on a couple of different boards. His term was set to end in November, but Biden fired him and some other conservatives in September, seemingly just to be a petty jerk.

Spicer then sued the Biden administration, for the sole purpose of losing and having a court of law affirm that Biden could fire whoever he wanted. It worked. Spicer lost the lawsuit. Then they went to an appeals court, which ALSO said that Biden, as president, had the power to fire anyone.

Fast forward to now. Trump has just fired the entire board of the Kennedy Center and they can’t do a darn thing about it. Why? Because Spicer forced the Biden administration to defend Spicer’s firing, which is now being cited as the legal precedent. It’s an ultimate FAFO.

Some details from The Blaze:

“I was like, ‘You couldn’t wait 60 days just to have it for free?’” Spicer says. “I obviously wasn’t going to get reappointed; Biden had his right to appoint his people, great. So it turns out, he fired everybody, myself from the Naval Academy board, Russ Vought from the Naval Academy board, and then a guy named H.R. McMaster from the West Point board.”

When Spicer refused to resign, Stephen Miller of America First came to him with the idea of suing the Biden administration.

Spicer explains that the plan was to “go to court and make Joe Biden argue that he has the absolute authority to fire anybody, and because we’re not going to win the case, they’ll rule against us.”

When the Biden administration won the suit, the media started calling Spicer out for losing the case.

“And I go, ‘Did I?’” He laughs.

Since when is telling the truth about someone categorized as an attack?

President Trump’s truthful comments about Ukrainian president Zelensky prompted media outrage. Politico reported, “Trump attacks Zelenskyy as ‘dictator without elections’ who duped US.”

Everything that Trump said was true!

The Gateway Pundit reported on Trump’s statement:

President Trump on Wednesday, amid negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his U.S.-funded war “that couldn’t be won” and called him a “Dictator without Elections.”

As Americans know, Zelensky has canceled elections, citing the war.

“In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only ‘TRUMP,’ and the Trump Administration, can do,” President Trump said.

He also noted that “Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is ‘MISSING.’”

During a press conference at the Mar a Lago on Tuesday, President Trump made similar remarks, noting that “Zelensky said last week that he doesn’t know where half of the money is that we gave him.”

“I could have made a deal for Ukraine that would have given him almost all of the land, everything, almost all of the land, and no people would have been killed, and no city would have been demolished, and not one dome would have been knocked down… Biden, in all fairness, he doesn’t have a clue— he was so bad for this,” the President said.

These truthful statements come as Zelensky claims that Trump is “living in a [Russian] disinformation space.”

It looks like Trump was right, Zelensky just wants the gravy train to keep coming.
