New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently attended the funeral of a fallen soldier from the city but was not invited to speak, which reportedly made him very angry.

According to the story, Mamdani had prepared remarks and was fully expecting to be called to the podium but it never happened.

Apparently, the family of the soldier is a little more conservative than people realized and did not want the mayor’s politics to become part of the event. Who can blame them?

Mayor Zohran Mamdani was snubbed from eulogizing Army Sgt. Angel Sarah Rampersad at the fallen soldier’s Queens funeral Friday — and the embarrassing scene unfolded in real time as he fumed while waiting in vain to give his speech, sources revealed.

Mamdani, who was relegated to the fourth row in the Ozone Park church, appeared to be reviewing his planned remarks on an iPad while Gov. Kathy Hochul and other dignitaries, including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, were called to speak, a source in attendance said.

“They kept calling names and then he was never called,” the source said.

“Then he looked over at his staff, frustrated and seemed angry that he didn’t speak. When he realized his name wasn’t being called, he looked at his staff angrily and then eventually put his tablet away.”…

The diss came as Mamdani — an avowed democratic socialist who’s harshly critical of Israel and the US war against Iran — remains a divisive political figure both within New York City and across the nation.

Another source involved with the funeral’s planning said Rampersad’s family is pro-President Trump and didn’t want Mamdani to speak.

Yet another insider confirmed that Mamdani’s outspoken lefty politics ultimately led him to lose his customary mayoral role as a speaker during a hometown soldier’s funeral.

A student from Cornell University has been in the news for a few weeks now because of an antisemitic remark he made about a potential employer.

Here is the backstory from the Cornell Daily Sun in June:

Student Writes ‘Not Interested in Working for a Jew’ on Handshake, Cornell Reports Bias Incident

The University reported Austin Franco ’28 to the Office of Civil Rights for a bias incident in which he responded to a job offer with “Not interested in working for a jew. Thanks.” on Handshake, according to a June 8 X post from Gabe Einhorn, co-founder and CEO of the company which Franco was accepted to. The Sun spoke to Franco and Einhorn following the incident.

Franco initially applied to a growth/sales role at Einhorn’s real estate startup, VrfyID, on May 26 through Handshake, a digital hiring platform, according to Einhorn. He was accepted in the first round and Gabe’s brother Aiden, who co-founded VrfyID, asked to set up a time for a meeting on May 29. Franco responded the same day with times he was available. Gabe told The Sun that both him and Aiden then offered two dates for students to attend, neither of which Franco went to. When Aiden followed up on June 8 to ask Franco about his attendance, Franco responded with “Not interested in working for a jew. Thanks.”

The student in question here, recently appeared on the Piers Morgan Uncensored show and although it seemed like Piers was trying to give the student a chance to explain himself, he just made it worse and Piers went off on him.

Austin Franco: I’ve had enough experiences that were displeasing, that I didn’t want to be around them. You know, it’s just a preference and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

You know, if you had a problem with Asian people or midgets, right, like you know – Let’s say you’re around ten midgets, right? And all of them are really mean to you, they step on your feet. Right? You’re gonna say, OK, I don’t want to be around you anymore. And if your boss is somehow a midget, you’re gonna say, I don’t want to work for you because you’re a midget.

It might not be a nice thing to say, but is it really worth losing our marbles over this, like the Jewish community did within America? Saying, we’re gonna make this kid unemployable? Let’s ruin his life, let’s kick him out of Cornell? I mean it’s really ridiculous.

Piers Morgan: Actually, if you don’t mind me saying, what you just said, is more ridiculous, isn’t it?
I mean, what on earth has this got to do with… with… as you put it, midgets?

I just find it incredibly depressing that a young man given the privilege that you’ve had, to go to a top university, could be this thick. Or worse, not care about what you’re saying and the consequences to a huge number of people around the world who see a young, arrogant, kid, who wants to brazenly espouse antisemitism in interviews like this.

And shame on you, and shame on everyone that has made you like this.

For months now, a battle has been raging between Trump’s FCC and ABC News/Disney, the owners of the daytime talk show ‘The View.’

ABC News claims that ‘The View’ is a legitimate news show, a claim that is preposterous at best, while the FCC argues that it’s not a news show.

The argument is important because the decision ultimately governs what the show is and is not allowed to do.

In a way, it’s amazing that this debate is even taking place. The View is easily the most anti-Trump and anti-Republican show on network television.

Anyone who watches the show even once knows this if they possess average intelligence.

Now, Trump’s FCC chief Brendan Carr has posted a video to Twitter/X which shows the hosts of The View basically campaigning for the Democrats.

Breitbart News reports:

Federal Communications chief Brendan Carr posted a montage video to social media of some of ABC daytime talk show The View’s most biased, left-wing chatter and electioneering for Democrats as the agency considers whether the show has broken federal equal time rules.

Carr posted the video on Thursday and wrote that, “Disney is arguing to the FCC that its ABC show The View is a ‘bona fide news program.’”

“Disney claims that its decisions are based on “newsworthiness”—rather than partisan purposes—and thus exempt from political equal time rules,” he added to the video post.

“The FCC will make its decision based on all relevant evidence and precedents,” he concluded on his July 30 X post.

The video shows various members of The View’s panel advocating exclusively for the Democrat Party and denigrating Republicans.

Still, in other comments Carr also said that he does not view the FCC as the “speech police.”

Appearing recently on The Conversation podcast, hosted by POLITICO’s Dasha Burns, Carr said that his job is to apply the laws Congress has passed.

Members of the Democratic Socialists of America have apparently pledged to ‘support and defend’ the People’s Republic of China. It’s no surprise that they admire a communist country but taking a pledge like this is more than a little suspect.

While America tries to maintain friendly ties with China, it’s no secret that they are one of our main geopolitical foes, if not the ultimate one.

At what point have these folks crossed a line into treason?

The New York Post reports:

About a dozen Democratic Socialists of America activists have publicly pledged to “support” and “defend” China amid an apparent push by the communist nation to court members of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s party.

Friends of Socialist China, a London-based group, touts 952 signatories on its pledge to “support the People’s Republic of China and to promote understanding of Chinese socialism.”

Eleven self-described DSA or DSA International Committee members are among those that “resolve to support, defend and build understanding of Chinese socialism,” The Post found.

The Times of London first reported on the DSA signatories.

The pledge argues that “the global advance to socialism is indispensable if humanity is to survive and to flourish,” while decrying capitalism as “totally incapable of solving the problems of poverty and inequality” and being “ inextricably linked with war, empire, racism, misogyny, alienation, and environmental destruction.”

“Why China?” the pledge continues. “We support all states building or aspiring to socialism, and we favour the highest level of unity and friendship between them. We foreground China in particular because its size and level of development give it an objectively critical role in the global transition to socialism.”

Failed presidential hopeful Kamala Harris unveiled her plans for 2028: Radically change the US by packing the Supreme Court and eliminating the Electoral College.

Harris spoke at the National Urban League Conference in Nashville on Friday about voting rights, the 2026 midterms, and, of course, 2028.

When asked if Harris is considering another bid for the White House, Harris said she hasn’t made the decision yet.

“2028 will not matter if we don’t win 2026,” Harris said.

Although Harris has not officially announced if she will launch another bid for the White House, she previewed her radical 2028 platform.

-Eliminate the Electoral College (this would take a constitutional amendment)
-Pack the Supreme Court with 13 justices
-Statehood for DC and Puerto Rico
-Get rid of the filibuster (as Trump predicted)

“We need to revisit the point of expanding the court to 13 justices, like we have 13 district courts. We need to revisit, if they so want, statehood for Puerto Rico and DC,” Harris said.

What an embarrassment.

Kamala Harris, a lawyer who was a heartbeat away from the presidency, doesn’t know how many district courts there are in the US.

The United States does not have 13 district courts.

The US has 89 district courts across 50 states (5 more in territories) and 13 appellate circuit courts.

Harris also trashed Tennessee’s decision to redraw its Congressional map and eliminate the racially gerrymandered district.

“They backdoored racism through politics in that decision,” Harris said.

Kamala Harris also said, without offering any proof whatsoever, that 700,000 people died after the Trump Administration shuttered USAID.

“It’s so unbelievable that they got rid of USAID! As many as 600,000 to 700,000 people have died because of withdrawing American aid for humanitarian purposes!” Harris said.
