It’s not unusual for parties losing a war to a stronger enemy to engage in ‘asymmetrical tactics’ of fighting. We have a name for that: terrorism.

Hailed as a hero by the western MSM, ‘mini-Churchill’ Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian leader who rules via martial law, who incarcerated or exiled his political adversaries and censored the media, is supposed to symbolize ‘the best of democratic virtues’.

But what we saw yesterday (28) was Zelensky praising terrorism, even if he couched it with beautiful words.

Zelenskiy commended Ukraine’s foreign intelligence service on Monday for the killing of ‘top Russian military figures’ since the start of the war.

Zelensky did not specifically mention last Friday’s car bomb that killed Yaroslav Moskalik, 59, deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces – but that’s what he was alluding to.

Reuters reported:

“Authorities in Kyiv have made no direct comment on the attack on Moskalik, the latest in a series of Russian military officers and pro-war figures killed since the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.”

But the car bomb campaign also targets civilians, Administrators of the conquered regions, journalists…

The first high-profile victim of these terrorist operations was journalist Daria Dugina, daughter of famed Russian philosopher Alexandr Dugin, who died in a car bomb intended for her father.

Sometimes the attacks are not executed by a car bomb, as in the case of the late 2023 ‘gift-bomb’ assassination of journalist Tatarsky.

Dramatic images showed a woman named Darya Trepova walking through a Saint Petersburg Street in a cold, grey day, carrying a cardboard box. She enters a café where a meeting is held, and approaches the speaker and guest of honor, Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky.

Trepova hands him a gift – a box containing a somewhat ugly, gilded wooden statuette supposedly representing Tatarsky, and sits down beside him – but not too close.

The Reuters report makes no effort to remind readers that terrorism is a despicable crime.

“’The head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence reported on the liquidation of persons from the top command of the Russian armed forces. Justice inevitably is done’, Zelenskiy said, referring to the agency’s head, Oleg Ivashchenko.

‘The head reported on further measures to counter Russian agent networks in Ukraine and saboteurs. Good results. Thank you for your work’, the president said.”

“A Moscow court at the weekend ordered a Ukrainian national facing terrorism charges in connection with the attack on Moskalik to be remanded in custody.”

George Clooney’s wife Amal Clooney is facing the prospect of a U.S. travel ban.

According to The Financial Times, Clooney may be sanctioned by the Trump administration for her work providing advice to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on prosecuting Israel for crimes against humanity over its handling of the conflict in Gaza.

The report states:

The UK foreign office has warned senior British lawyers they are at risk of sanctions by the Trump administration because of advice they provided to the International Criminal Court on Israel’s conduct in Gaza.

Several senior lawyers involved in the ICC’s war crimes case against Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant have received the warnings from Britain’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, according to people familiar with the matter.

David Hogg’s tenure as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee may be more short-term than expected.

He has been in the position for just a couple of months, but he has caused all kinds of problems for the party, mostly by announcing his plans to primary various members of the party for not being far left enough for his liking.

Members of the party have already given him an ultimatum to get in line or get out, but now he may face a challenge for his own position.

His challenger is another member of the DNC who happens to be a Native American woman. Hogg might be about to get a harsh lesson in the reality of DEI policies.

A candidate who failed to win a Democratic National Committee leadership role is challenging her defeat — the first threat to DNC Vice Chair David Hogg since he vowed to keep backing some primary challenges to incumbents.

The DNC’s credentials committee will meet virtually on May 12 to consider the challenge from Kalyn Free, a Native American attorney and party activist who lost a vice chair spot to Hogg at the party’s Feb. 1 meeting.

In her complaint, shared with Semafor by a Democratic source, Free argued that she lost a “fatally flawed election that violated the DNC Charter and discriminated against three women of color candidates,” and asks for “two new vice chair elections.” In February, after several rounds of voting, the race came down to five candidates – Kenyatta, Hogg, Free, and two other women. Kenyatta and Hogg claimed the open spots.

“By aggregating votes across ballots and failing to distinguish between gender categories in a meaningful way, the DNC’s process violated its own Charter and Bylaws, undermining both fairness and gender diversity,” argued Free, a citizen of the Choctaw Nation.

The Democrats who recently raced to El Salvador to protest the deportation of illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia in an ultimate act of virtue signaling, stayed at a luxury resort while they were there, because of course they did.

Nothing but the best, right?

It’s the same reason that when Bernie Sanders and AOC are traveling the country on their ‘Fight Oligarchy’ tour, they fly first class or take private jets. The Democrats never deny themselves anything, while they insist that you must do that for the sake of the planet.

Democratic Reps. Maxwell Frost of Florida, Robert Garcia of California, Maxine Dexter of Oregon and Yassamin Ansari of Arizona traveled to the capital city of San Salvador to advocate for the release of reputed MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego Garcia on April 21. They stayed at the Hilton San Salvador, a luxury property situated against a picturesque backdrop of the capital city’s volcano, a source familiar with the members’ accommodations told the DCNF.

The San Salvador hotel boasts rooms with scenic views of the capital city’s landscape and an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy margaritas and dine on local culinary treats, including made-to-order pupusas. The hotel is described as providing a “tranquil retreat” for “those seeking comfort and convenience,” according to Hotels.com. Google rates the property as a five-star hotel.

Former NBC News employee Chuck Todd recently appeared on the Chris Cillizza podcast and insisted that the media is not to blame for the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline. He blames the Democratic party and various high ranking members of the party.

The Democratic party did cover up Joe Biden’s decline, but they never would have gotten away with it for as long as they did if it wasn’t for the fact that the media helped them to do it, every step of the way.

Right up to the moment of Biden’s disastrous debate performance, when they couldn’t hide it from the public anymore, the media accused people of pushing ‘cheap fakes’ if they questioned Biden’s mental state.

The media is as much to blame as the Democrat party, if not more.

Former NBC host Chuck Todd denied that the mainstream media missed the story of Joe Biden’s mental demise — calling it “right-wing-manufactured” spin.

“I just refuse to accept this stupid premise because it’s a ring-wing-manufactured, right-wing premise in order to sustain the media,” Todd, who hosted “Meet the Press” for about 10 years, told former CNN pundit Chris Cillizza on his Substack channel on Monday.

Todd insisted it was not the media’s fault for overlooking Biden’s demise, but that the blame should be placed on the Democrats in office who covered up the story…

“This is an attempt by some to virtue-signal, and it’s this horrible sort of pitting different news organizations against each other when ultimately the people at fault are Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Jill Biden, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, every elected member of Congress,” he insisted.
