In a fearless and practical move to shore up immigration enforcement, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has pitched a novel concept to the Trump administration: a 39‑square‑mile detention site in the Everglades, slyly dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Situated on the abandoned Dade‑Collier airport—as part of the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area—this remote facility would capitalize on Florida’s natural defenses.

ICE currently holds around 53,000 migrants in facilities funded for just 41,500 beds, according to WLRN.

This “Alligator Alcatraz” could house up to 1,000 criminal illegal entrants, built in as little as 30–60 days — a swift addition to national security infrastructure.

Rather than costly walls or fences, natural barriers—alligators, pythons, dense swampland—secure the perimeter. According to Uthmeier, this creates a “low‑cost, efficient opportunity. “

This is an old, virtually abandoned airport facility right in the middle of the Everglades. Florida has been leading on immigration enforcement, supporting the Trump administration and ICE’s efforts to detain and deport criminal aliens. The Governor tasked state leaders to identify places for new temporary detention facilities. I think this is the best one. I call it “Alligator Alcatraz.”

This 30-square-mile area is completely surrounded by the Everglades. It presents an efficient, low-cost opportunity to build a temporary detention facility because you don’t need to invest much in the perimeter. If people get out, there’s not much waiting for them other than alligators and pythons—nowhere to go, nowhere to hide.

Within just 30 to 60 days after we begin construction, it could be up and running and could house as many as a thousand criminal aliens. This presents a great opportunity for the state of Florida with Miami-Dade and Collier County’s “Alligator Alcatraz.” We’re ready to go.

Dr. Eric Cole — a former CIA hacker and top advisor to Fortune 50 companies — has sounded the alarm that the United States is likely to face a massive cyberattack from Iran within the next 30 days. And he says the threat is not just real — it’s imminent.

During an interview with former Rep. Matt Gaetz, Dr. Cole said Iran knows it cannot win on the battlefield with jets and bombs — but in cyberspace, the Islamic regime holds a terrifying advantage.

Cole warned that Iran is “very, very advanced” in cyber warfare and now possesses powerful tools that originated in U.S. intelligence operations.

Matt Gaetz:
Do you believe, right now, Iran is in the planning or execution stages of cyberattacks against the United States?

Dr. Eric Cole:
Absolutely. I wish this wasn’t the truth, but I believe that within the next 30 days, you’re going to see a massive cyberattack. All of the indications are there. Everyone’s ganging up on Iran. You’re seeing a lot of tension building, and they cannot compete on the military front—on the physical front with airplanes and weapons. There’s no way they can compete with the United States and Israel. But in cyber, they are very, very advanced.

Remember, Stuxnet attacked their nuclear reactors? Yes, they were a victim. But when you’re a victim of a cyberattack, you also get access to all the code. They actually have all the code that was used to break into their nuclear reactor. They’ve now taken that, and they can use it against us to break into our nuclear reactors.

Earlier this year, Cole joined former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on the Newt’s World podcast, where he reiterated his concerns, calling the situation a “true cyber crisis.”

He said America is completely unprepared to deal with an attack of this magnitude — especially from a nation with both the motivation and capability like Iran, or their silent backers in China and Russia.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is using the growing number of legal and ethical allegations against her that resulted in a Department of Justice investigation as a tool to solicit donations from New Yorkers.

Her strategy appears to blend defiance, victimhood, and partisan rhetoric in a calculated appeal for money, as she attempts to transform serious allegations of fraud and misconduct into rallying cries for cash.

A recent Letitia James campaign fundraising appeal texted directly to thousands of New Yorkers illustrates this strategy clearly.

In it, James addresses her supporters with a combative tone, quoting Trump aide Stephen Miller’s recent statement calling her “one of the most corrupt, shameless individuals ever to hold public office.”

Rather than addressing or rebutting the substance of his criticisms, James frames them as politically motivated attacks, stating that “Trump is on a revenge tour against me for holding his administration accountable and stopping their MAGA agenda in court.”

She goes on to urge supporters: “If you’re with me, chip in now to help fight back against this smear campaign”.

This fundraising appeal is no outlier. It’s part of a broader pattern by Letitia James to deflect attention from serious allegations with cries of political persecution.

James currently faces allegations of mortgage fraud and other crimes as detailed by William Pulte, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

In his April 14, 2025, letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, Pulte alleges that James may have falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government-backed assistance and loans with more favorable terms.

As I reported in The Gateway Pundit, in 2011 James successfully disposed of her 10% high-interest-rate private bank mortgage on her Brooklyn apartment building by refinancing with a federal Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan, and receiving a favorable 2.7% interest rate on the back of American taxpayers.

However, documents indicate that James qualified for the loan only by falsely stating her apartment building had only four rental units, when the Certificate of Occupancy actually showed five.

Also, as detailed on Sam Antar’s White Collar Fraud website, in August 2023, Letitia James co-signed for a mortgage for a property located at 604 Sterling Street in Norfolk, Virginia, alongside her niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston.

As part of this transaction, James executed a notarized Power of Attorney (POA) on August 17, 2023, which included a sworn declaration stating, “I hereby declare that I intend to occupy this property as my principal residence.”

This declaration was instrumental in securing favorable lower mortgage rates typically reserved for primary residences.

James later stated that she was just being a “good Aunt” because her niece “had children” and she “wanted them to have a home”. However, as I reported in The Gateway Pundit, the so-called “children” were in fact adult convicted felons.

Nonetheless, James has sidestepped all these issues in her public messaging.

Rather than clarify her actions, she appeals to her supporters’ emotions. Her rhetoric portrays herself as a victim of Trumpian retribution and a heroic defender of progressive values, evoking language like “I refuse to be silenced” and pledging never to stop “fighting for the rule of law and our constitution”.

In her text, James weaponizes the accusations themselves, using the political fallout not to clarify her ethics – but to cash in on them.

Her appeal portrays the image of a beleaguered public servant, suggesting that any scrutiny of her conduct is merely a partisan “smear campaign.”

However, the allegations against James aren’t merely about Trump or partisan vendettas. They include a wide array of questionable actions involving 43 years of real estate transactions, including James’s first home purchase where she pretended to be married to her own father to obtain more favorable loan terms.

If the laws Letitia James enforces in New York state are to have any legitimacy, the same scrutiny applied to others must apply to her. A failure to hold James accountable for her issues can only erode public trust in the office she holds.

New York state simply cannot have an attorney general who behaves as though she is “above the law” and considers serious allegations to be merely a fundraising opportunity.

General Michael Flynn, a former National Security Advisor and one of the most decorated intelligence veterans in American history, has publicly urged President Trump and Vice President JD Vance to pump the brakes on launching any strike against Iran.

Appearing in an interview with Benny Johnson, Flynn, a decorated general who was relentlessly persecuted by the Obama-Biden intelligence regime for standing by Trump in 2017, made it clear: America must not be dragged into yet another endless war — not by the neocons, not by the military-industrial complex, and not by NATO.

The focus, he said, must remain on restoring America and protecting the freedoms the Biden regime has spent four years trying to dismantle, and not to fall into the trap laid by the globalist war machine and their deep state allies.

The path forward, according to Flynn, is not boots on the ground or $100 billion in war spending — it’s strategic patience and support for regime change from within Iran, led by the Iranian people themselves.

Benny Johnson:
JD Vance is somebody who is advising the President, is in his ear, and is in these meetings. He seems to be a very steady hand. Would you advise the President? What would you advise the President right now, given the circumstance with Iran? Would you advise him to strike Iran right now?

Gen. Mike Flynn:
No, I wouldn’t. The one thing that I know about warfare is that I can tell the Israelis are on a very methodical and determined military campaign with a series of objectives, a series of phases. They’re likely well into their second phase of this operation, from a military campaigning perspective. So I would not. I would not.

It’s like in warfare, Benny—the best plan has the most options right up to the last possible minute. So the President has to have all the options available. And if he decides to use them, he needs to know: when I make that decision, how long is that going to take to implement? So he’s got to have the timing, the sequencing, and all these kinds of things in mind—and people around him.

I don’t think right now is the time. As I look at what the Israelis are doing—because Israel doesn’t want army divisions and boots on the ground—what we all want is for the Iranian people to rise up.

Gen. Mike Flynn:
And guess what? For those listening to this, Benny—the Iranian people know that they’ve lived under a dictatorship for 50 years. The other aspect Trump has to think about—and this is where JD Vance comes in very handily—is continuing to pull on the President to make sure he doesn’t lose focus of why he was elected President of the United States.

Back to something you said earlier about there being a nuclear weapon right here in the country, right? And there is. I think those steady hands around him—and I would say that Trump is probably one of the most steady because of the kinds of things that he’s done—there are times when I’ve felt like, “God, I wish Trump would just do this right now,” something he could’ve done inside the country, right? And that has to do with accountability. But another day.

Because right now, the steadiness that he requires involves those options we’ve talked about—and he needs to know the timing and the sequencing. So right now, I would say: hold. I would say: no, just hold on that option.

Gen. Mike Flynn:
Let’s see how the Israeli campaign continues to unfold, and let’s see what the world is going to do. Because NATO is going to try to pull Trump into the war in Ukraine. And what are we going to have? I mean, that’s nuts. That’s nuts up there, what we’re doing—over $500 billion we’ve spent.

The Chinese—when it comes to what the Israelis are doing—remember how much oil the Chinese pull through the Strait of Hormuz. And I said it this morning: that’s a very devastating thing, as well as the terror. So there’s some boxing going on here. Think about a boxer who’s in one stance and then changes stance, right? Trump is able to be that adaptive in his ability.

Because, frankly, the United States of America still has—and that’s how I want Trump to think—but I do want Trump to come out to the American people and tell us with some great clarity where parts of his head are, where America needs to be thinking, and what objectives he is still seeking, given the mandate that he was given by the American people. You’ve got to keep the troops informed, Ben.
