Today the Tucker Carlson network released a new 95 minute documentary from Maine’s Steven Robinson alleging that Chinese gang trafficking primarily in drugs, are buying up rural U.S. properties and turning them into drug labs.
This documentary builds on a great deal of reporting on China first featured at the Gateway Pundit, as well as Maine reporting done by Robinson at his site, TheMaineWire.com.
Most of the drugs appear to be marijuana, though since the windows of these properties are typically papered over, it’s impossible to know what’s in these locations. The documentary also alleges that there is evidence of human trafficking going on in many of these locations.
One of the locations with what the documentary describes as nearly a dozen “slaves” was 500 feet from a Customs and Border Patrol station, indicating either a colossal level of incompetence by federal law enforcement, or the possible cooperation and official blindness to the crimes committed by the Chinese criminals in Maine.
The documentary alleges that the Chinese gang involved is the “Triad” gang.
The documentary, “High Crimes: The Chinese Mafia’s Takeover of Rural America,” specifically cites property record searches in the state of Maine, showing not only over 150 properties where this is happening, but also connections between the property transfers, Chinese nationals and criminals, and the Democrat Governor of Maine Janet T. Mills.
Maine Governor Mills’ brother, an attorney, appears to be the attorney of record for these property transfers.
Maine Senator Susan Collins is quoted in the documentary as saying:
“We need an all hands on deck approach to this problem, and it is a serious problem. I too, have talked to neighbors of these houses. And first of all, they don’t want a drug organization operating right down the road from them. And second, they do know that these are criminals. They’re breaking the law. And third, the fact that it has this link to transnational criminal organizations connected to China is frightening. “Why are the Chinese doing this?” is a question that I keep getting.”
The documentary makes clear that official authorities in Maine are well aware of these operations, as one of the key Chinese players, Johnny Wu, tried to obtain a ‘caregiver’s license’ in order to facilitate marijuana sales. When asked, local authorities said on camera that they were instructed to call state officials if they ever crossed paths with Wu.
Locals who attempted legal weed operations are profiled, but who are undercut by the illegal operations that are not regulated or policed. The alleged corruption where state officials selectively enforce the rules and regulations against lawful companies, creating a double standard bankrupting lawful operators.
It is also alleged that these Chinese marijuana operations also use a variety of chemicals and fumigants that are extremely harmful. The testing performed also does not test for other potential harmful chemicals that are known to be in Chinese weed in other states.
The documentary tested some of the Chinese gang marijuana, and found Dichlorvos, an insecticide, which the EPA has said is a likely human carcinogen, likely to cause cancer in humans, and Isoprocarb, an insecticide, which is harmful to humans when inhaled. Procymidone, a fungicide, was also found, which can affect reproductive functions in humans. Fenobucarb, an insecticide, was also found, which is also toxic to humans.
The documentary alleges that there is a common pattern for these property acquisitions, where the new owners board up the windows, never tend to the lawn, add multiple heat pumps around the property, connect commercial electricity, many security cameras, no one is ever home, and the homes emit the stench of marijuana production.
The documentary also shows how several of these homes are circumventing power meters to get free electricity to power their pot growing operations. The complicated process, they allege, demonstrates a high degree of electrical knowledge to get around the metering that normal Americans and residents of Maine would otherwise have to pay.
Nursing homes, churches, old mill buildings, daycares, flight hangars, are all being obtained in these rural areas and turned into these Chinese drug operations.
Some local officials try to blame Mexican cartels for these operations though the weight of evidence, the documentary claims, points to Chinese criminal enterprises.
Chinese interests have been long active in trying to acquire U.S. land and critical businesses.
In 2022, the Fufeng scandal in North Dakota involved Chinese acquisitions near a critical U.S. Air Force Base outside Grand Forks. There, 300 acres were acquired and electronic jamming devices were put up that would obstruct the ability of the Air Force to operate certain aircraft, including drones.
Chinese firms have also bought up critical meat processing plants in America, as well as cornering the ‘rare earth minerals’ market in America.
Over the past few years, Chinese semiconductor companies have attempted to obtain land in Michigan to build manufacturing plants in rural areas. A plant by the Chinese company Gotion was trying to gain a foothold in Big Rapids, Michigan but when locals found out what was going on, they stopped the process. The Gotion effort was also motivated by an estimated $250 million in economic grants that Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer was pledging to the Chinese company. Another semiconductor factory was trying to use the same process to convert 1,300 acres of farmland to a semiconductor factory in Grand Ledge, Michigan, right outside the state capital.
Many states and some federal officials have proposed laws banning the Chinese Communist government from obtaining U.S. land, especially farmland. Additionally, critics have alleged that due to the nature of Communism owning all private companies, that any property acquisition by a Chinese company is, essentially, owned by the Chinese government.
The hostile communist Chinese government has been utilizing a variety of methods to attack the United States. Recent reports indicate that they were complicit in the 2020 election steal by printing hundreds of thousands of fake absentee ballots, where Joe Biden and national Democrats stole the election from President Trump. By obtaining this land, and placing key Chinese agents around the country, the Chinese appear to be working a decades-long plan to strip out money from the country but also to slowly affect and invade the nation.
The documentary notes that many working class residents of Maine are scared to speak up, unsure as to who will help them. “The people of rural Maine are terrified that they’re dealing with a criminal enterprise.”
The documentary ends with a suggested course of action from its narrator, Steven Robinson: “The problem that Maine is dealing with, ultimately deals with fear. The residents of Maine, our elected officials, our law enforcement, are scared. Residents are scared to see something and say something. The Chinese mafia is exploiting this. The Chinese mafia is exploiting the lack of courage amongst the people. So ultimately, the real solution to this problem is courage. What it’s going to take is for law enforcement and elected officials to step up and name the problem: these are slavers, these are human traffickers. Human slavery is happening in this state. We need to say its name. We need to confront the enemy. We’re dealing with evil people. We need to confront this evil.”
The documentary notes that locals are currently trying to use local codes and ordinances to shut down these illegal operations.
The Gateway Pundit reached out to the Department of Justice for comment on these potential crimes, but the Department did not respond.
