Ranked Choice voting is a lie – It’s a scam. 

A foreign-born Islamic communist “won” New York City’s Democrat Primary for governor in the city’s ranked choice primary last night.

How could this happen?  It’s almost exclusively due to ranked choice voting.

New York City claims that ranked choice voting has at least three benefits:

What are the benefits of ranked choice voting?

There are several ways that ranked choice voting could benefit New York City voters:

• • It gives you more say in who gets elected. Even if your top choice candidate does not win, you can still help choose who does.

• • It gives you more choices. You can rank up to five candidates, allowing you to support your favorite candidate without worrying about whether they’re likely to win.

• • More diverse candidates win elections. Cities that have implemented ranked choice voting have elected more women and more women of color, making their elected officials more representative of their communities.

According to NYC propaganda, Ranked Choice Voting is easy.

Realistically Ranked Choice Voting is all a scam.  The progressive Left is behind Ranked Choice Voting and we see the results every time results are eventually produced.

According to the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) ranked choice advocacy organizations claim that this method can improve voter confidence by providing more candidate choices, decreasing negative campaigning, and ensuring majority rule. But these are false promises, and the proliferation of ranked choice is harmful to American elections.

One challenge with ranked choice is that voters must understand multiple candidates as opposed to only one.  When there are multiple candidates in a race this can be daunting.

Although proponents say it’s easy, casting a vote in a ranked choice election is difficult. Instructions are generally cumbersome, often confusing voters. Error rates for RCV elections remain higher than those of traditional elections. This results are more citizens having their votes thrown away because of an overly complex system.

In addition, winners of ranked choice races do not necessarily represent the choice of all voters who participated.  A study of Maine elections found that, of 98 recent ranked choice elections, 60 percent of the victors did not win by a majority of the total votes cast.

Also as expected, voter turnout in ranked choice elections is less than with traditional elections.

Ballots counted in ranked choice voting must be transported to a central location.  The chain of custody surrounding this process is increased with ballots (not only absentee ballots) shipped to this central hub.  The more ballots are moved and the further they are moved, the higher the risk embedded in the process.  It is almost certain that at least some ranked choice ballots must be transported.

Because of the process, it can take days and weeks to determine the final winner in a ranked choice election.  This is also inherently built into the process.

In addition, ranked choice voting is difficult to audit.  This too could take days and weeks. Which leads to the most glaring issue with ranked choice voting, transparency is virtually absent.  In a traditional audit, an observer can see votes being counted.  In ranked choice, who possibly could keep up!

In the financial world, if results aren’t transparent and auditable, they are not legit.  In US elections this is not the case. 

The proponents of ranked choice voting from the progressive left say this is a fine election process.  In reality, it’s a nightmare with last night’s NYC election being another example.

President Trump flew to Europe on Tuesday to join allied leaders at the 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands. This year’s conference will focus on defense spending and international security challenges.

President Trump delivered remarks on Wednesday morning (US Time) to a packed room of reporters. During the question and answer period, anti-Trump hack, NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell, attempted to smear the president, the US military, and the Trump administration for only managing minimal damage to the Fordow nuclear facility during the US bombing raid last week over Iran.

After President Trump made a few remarks, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth jumped in and obliterated the NBC hack.

This was brutal!

Pete Hegseth: There’s a reason the President calls out fake news for what it is. These pilots, these refuelers, these fighters, these air defenders, the skill and the courage it took to go into enemy territory, flying 36 hours on behalf of the American people to take out a nuclear program, is beyond what anyone in this audience can fathom.

Then the instinct, the instinct of CNN, the instinct of The New York Times, is to try to find a way to spin it for their own political reasons to try to hurt President Trump or our country.

They don’t care what the troops think. They don’t care what the world thinks. They want to spin it to try to make him look bad based on a leak. Of course, we’ve all seen plenty of leakers. And what do leakers do? They have agendas. And what do they do? Do they share the whole information or just the part that they want to introduce?

When they introduce a preliminary report that’s deemed to be a low assessment, you know what a low assessment means? ‘Low confidence’ in the data in that report. Why is there low confidence? Because all of the evidence of what was just bombed by 12, 30,000-pound bombs is buried under a mountain, devastated and obliterated.

So if you want to make an assessment of what happened at Fordow, you’d better get a big shovel and go really deep because Iran’s nuclear program is obliterated. Somebody somewhere is trying to leak something to say, Oh, with low confidence, we think maybe it’s moderate.

Those who dropped the bombs precisely in the right place know exactly what happened when that exploded.

You know who else knows? Iran. That’s why they came to the table right away, because their nuclear capabilities have been set back beyond what they thought were possible because of the courage of a commander in chief who led our troops, despite what the fake news wants to say.

President Trump’s US Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Senior Advisor, Kari Lake, testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday, where she exposed the massive abuse and national security threats she’s discovered since taking charge of the Agency. 

Democrats began the hearing with Ranking Member Rep. Greg Meeks (D-NY) attacking the Trump Administration and Lake, accusing her of using “falsehoods to advance an agenda,” and

In Lake’s opening statement, she outlined her real mission to root out the bias and disinformation, waste, fraud, abuse, and serious threats to American national security that she’s discovered.

This includes foreign assets from hostile nations being hired to USAGM news organizations and grantees without background checks, and being given “high-level security access based on falsified documents and incomplete background checks, phony names, and phony Social Security numbers,” Lake told the committee.

“From 2010 to 2020, the Office of Personnel Management and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence repeatedly flagged severe security failures, but USAGM leadership ignored them.”

USAGM grantee, Radio Free Europe, at one point, “nearly hired more than 20 spies from a nation hostile to America,” and other organizations, such as the Office of Cuba Broadcasting, have abused the J1 Visa program to bring foreign nationals and national security threats into America.

The reporting is extremely biased and “anti-American” too! As Lake revealed, Biden was given preferential treatment by Voice of America with “campaign-style videos” aired on his behalf, but they broadcasted “a graphic depicting President Trump with a swastika over his face on their news.” They were scrutinized for “refusing to call Hamas terrorists” and “glamorizing Che Guevara,” the Marxist revolutionary and former Cuban Minister of Industries.

Lake also laid out the massive waste and fraud, including accounted for “quid pro quo” payments made to African VOA affiliates! How is this legal?

She highlighted the “$75,000 spent for COVID study on how Mac computers can be used for social distancing, $100,000 in American taxpayer money to actually sponsor a Afghan Cricket team, $400,000 for quid pro quo payments to African VOA affiliates— and they actually wrote quid pro quo next to the budget item— $825,000 for a New York music show, and $6 million contract for consulting advice that was never even implemented.”

Additionally, Lake revealed, “We’ve learned that there is an active investigation going on at VOA for a series of threatening phone calls that have been coming out,” threatening a sitting member of Congress for years, and the calls were coming from within the Voice of America!

“I told these stories to people, and many times they say, wow, this place sounds like a crime scene. And I frankly, have just learned that it is indeed a crime scene,” Lake said.

“This place is rotten. It’s rotten to the core. President Trump has asked me to go in and help clean it up, and he’s also issued an executive order to reduce this agency down to its mandate, to what is mandated, statutorily required. That’s exactly what I’m doing. I don’t care if they attack me, we’re going to make it right for the American taxpayers.”

Lake: Last December, President-elect Donald Trump called me and asked if I would help reform the U.S. Agency for Global Media and the Voice of America. And I said, yes. I was honored and eager to help these institutions tell America’s story to the world. But within days in my role as Senior Advisor, it became increasingly clear that reform was nearly impossible. The agency was incompetent and mismanaged and deeply corrupt, politically biased and, frankly, a serious threat to our national security. USAGM oversees VOA, Office of Cuba Broadcasting, and grantees like Radio Free Asia, Radio Free Europe, Middle East Broadcasting Network, Open Technology Fund, and Frontline Media Fund, all of which are 100% funded by the hard-working American people. Over the past 15 to 20 years, the agency has become a significant national security risk. They hire a shockingly high number of foreign nationals, and they conduct subpar security vetting, so bad that top intelligence agencies revoked this agency’s ability to do even the most basic background checks.

So many of USAGM’s hires come from countries hostile to the United States. Over the decade, from 2010 to 2020, the Office of Personnel Management and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence repeatedly flagged severe security failures, but USAGM leadership ignored them. They continued to grant journalists and technicians, many from foreign nations, high-level security access based on falsified documents and incomplete background checks, phony names, and phony Social Security numbers. Even after corrective actions were taken in the final months of the Trump administration, these safeguards were reversed by the incoming Biden administration. The scale of the problem is staggering.

During the first Trump administration, the political appointees led by CEO Michael Pack got to work fixing it, and they discovered that out of 150 people who were hired during that time period when they weren’t doing appropriate vetting, 500 of them were still out there, and they could not find them. They went back and re-vetted everybody, but 500 had gone missing. They could not be located for further screening. Foreign employees with social security numbers that are fake and fake names given top secret access now missing. That keeps me up at night.

My team is working to track them down. Our new security director is working to try to turn this agency around and make it where it’s safer. It’s a vast problem that we’ve uncovered. We’ve also uncovered that the grantees, like Radio Free Europe, hired people later identified as foreign spies. At one point, they nearly hired more than 20 spies from a nation hostile to America. Those hires were stopped thanks to a timely tip, and I’m happy to give you more information on that in a secure setting. Voice of America has employed individuals with direct ties to hostile nations. They even once paid for somebody who worked previously in Russian media, writing anti-American stories, to come on the staff and continue to write anti-American stories.

At one point, a serious security threat to America, an officer of Cuba broadcasting Cuba was declared to be a national security threat. He was fired, thankfully, but he worked there for quite some time. So, how do they get so many foreign nationals in? Well, they abuse the J1 Visa Program, which is a pathway to citizenship, intended for exchange students and cultural exchanges, students, camp counselors, and au pairs. It’s not intended for journalists, and it’s created severe vulnerabilities, and frankly, it has displaced many, many American workers who could have filled these jobs. VOA also sidestepped their charter to be reliable, authoritative news, instead being riddled with political bias and outright anti-American sentiment. Examples, you mentioned it, Chairman refusing to call Hamas terrorists, glamorizing Che Guevara, airing campaign-style videos favoring President Biden, even broadcasting a graphic depicting President Trump with a swastika over his face on their news.

I wouldn’t want that, by the way, even if it was President Biden; that’s totally inappropriate. And a ridiculous editorial firewall prevents agency leadership like myself from correcting any of the bias or having any say in the editorial content that goes on the air. The Trump White House has opted not to grant executive privilege to nine former senior aides of Joe Biden, which will allow them to testify in a congressional investigation into the former president’s mental fitness for office and allegations that his staff covered up his cognitive decline.

According to a new report from Axios, people who will be required to provide testimony include Jill Biden’s adviser Anthony Bernal, Joe’s advisers Annie Tomasini, Ashley Williams, Neera Tanden, Mike Donilon, Anita Dunn, Ron Klain, Bruce Reed, and Steve Ricchetti.

The decision means the former aides must answer questions about their private conversations with Biden during closed-door interviews with the House Oversight Committee.

The aides could challenge the decision in court, as could Biden, but no such action has been reported at this time.

On Tuesday, the White House counsel’s office sent a letter to Tanden’s lawyers, which was obtained by Axios, stating that invoking executive privilege was not “in the national interest” due to the “exceptional circumstances” of the investigation.

“Evidence that aides to former President Biden concealed information regarding his fitness to exercise the powers of the President — and may have unconstitutionally exercised those powers themselves to aid in their concealment — implicates both Congress’ constitutional and legislative powers,” Trump’s deputy White House counsel, Gary Lawkowski, wrote in the letter.

The investigation is one of four Republican-led inquiries into the 82-year-old career politician’s fitness for office.

The committee has subpoenaed Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, after he declined a voluntary interview. He is expected to sit for a deposition as part of the probe.

In 2021, the Biden White House waived executive privilege for former Trump aides being investigated by the House select committee regarding the January 6 Capitol protest. The language in the letter to Tanden mirrors the reasoning used by Biden’s team at the time.
