Far-left Rep. Al Green (D-TX) suffered a humiliating defeat on Tuesday after trying to impeach President Trump for the third time.
Earlier, Green filed articles of impeachment against Trump for what he described as “high crimes and misdemeanors” in connection with attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran.
“I believe that the President of the United States has committed an impeachable act,” Green whined. “H.Res. 537 addresses abuse of presidential powers by disregarding the separation of powers, devolving American democracy into an authoritarian government, and usurping congressional power to declare war.”
“I take no delight in what I’m doing. I do this because I love my country. I do this because I understand that the Constitution is going to be meaningful or it will be meaningless,” he added. “No one person should have the power to take over 300 million people to war without consulting the Congress of the United States of America.”
“I do this because if I do not, this authoritarian president that we currently have will continue to assume power.”
Democrat Rep. Al Green: “I believe that the president of the United States has committed an impeachable act. Later today, I bring articles of impeachment to the floor, and I will call for a vote.”
But when the vote was called, 128 Democrats joined Republicans in tabling Green’s measure—almost two-thirds of the caucus! The final vote total was 344-79.
How embarrassing.

Tuesday marked the third attempt by Green to remove President Trump from office.
Back in March announced his intention to impeach Trump for promoting “incivility.”
“I am absolutely going to do it,” he told TMZ back then. “This level of incivility emanating from the presidency, much of it in policy, is something we cannot tolerate.”
“If President Barack Hussein Obama had behaved in this fashion, he would have been impeached. There is no question in my mind.”
And in February, Green introduced articles of impeachment after Trump outlined his plan for transforming Gaza when Israel’s war against Hamas has concluded.
“Ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not a joke!” Green shouted. “Especially when it emanates from the President of the United States.”
“I rise today to announce I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done,” he continued.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. left a liberal Democratic congressman who was trying to smear him during a hearing red-faced by exposing a damning flip-flop on his part.
As The Hill reported, RFK Jr. testified before the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee on Tuesday morning regarding the department’s fiscal 2026 budget request and the Trump administration’s determination to “Make America Healthy Again” agenda.
During the hearing, Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) tried to slander Kennedy as a conspiracy theorist. He accused the HHS Secretary of advancing a “dangerous pseudoscience” and putting American lives in danger by firing civil servants and eliminating entire agencies within the department.

Of course, Kennedy has been draining the swamp of the bureaucrats who helped ruin the lives of millions of Americans during the worst health pandemic in a century. If anything, more firings need to occur.
Following Pallone’s nasty smear, Kennedy exposed a damning truth: the congressman long ago strongly supported efforts to uncover people injured by vaccines. Due to this, the now-HHS secretary and Pallone were in alliance.
But then Big Pharma dropped a bag, and Pallone abandoned his long-held advocacy. What a fraud.

“15 years ago, you and I met. You were at that time a champion for people who had suffered injuries from vaccines,” he added. “You were very adamant about it. You were the leading member of Congress on that issue.”
“Since then, you’ve accepted $2 million from pharmaceutical companies in contributions—more than any other member of this committee, and your enthusiasm for supporting the old ACIP committee, which was completely rife and pervasive with pharmaceutical conflicts, seems to be an outcome of those contributions.”

Hearing this allegation left Pallone silenced and set off a bit of a firestorm with one of Pallone’s fellow Democrats> She accused Kennedy of smearing Pallone as corrupt for taking millions from other pharmaceutical companies while claiming to champion working Americans.
Except as one will see in the tweet below, what Kennedy said was true. According to Open Secrets, Pallone has accepted $2,211,781 from Big Pharma, which could have influenced his change of heart on vaccine injuries.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) on Tuesday interrupted a DOGE subcommittee hearing to demand that Elon Musk be subpoenaed and called to testify on the Department of Government Efficiency’s findings of waste, fraud, and abuse in government.
The House Oversight Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency held a hearing on Tuesday, titled “Locking in the DOGE Cuts: Ending Waste, Fraud, and Abuse for Good.”
The purpose of the hearing is to ensure that the tax dollar savings from waste, fraud, and abuse in government, identified by the Trump Administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, are locked in with budgetary cuts.
“The Trump Administration, including the Department of Government Efficiency, has worked expeditiously to safeguard taxpayer dollars, combat waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement, and ensure federal programs are operating as designed for the American people. Through rigorous tracking, evaluation, and assessment of government spending, DOGE has implemented cost-saving measures that protect taxpayers,” a press release from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee states.
“These proven procedures must be institutionalized to guarantee sustained, annual savings for the American people. This hearing will assess the cost-saving measures taken by DOGE, and how they can be translated into budgetary savings for taxpayers – both now and in the future.”
However, the Democrats were more interested in attacking the Trump Administration than saving the American people money and making sure tax dollars are put to good use.
Crockett was recognized during the hearing to question the four witnesses, but she instead called for a vote to subpoena Elon Musk, the former head of DOGE.
“He is yet to come before this committee, and last time I checked, none of the witnesses sitting here know anything about DOGE except for what they read on the internet,” she said.
The witnesses included Matthew Dickerson, Director of Budget Policy at the Economic Policy Innovation Center; David Burton, Senior Fellow in Economic Policy at the Heritage Foundation; Dan Lips, Senior Fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation; and Emily DiVito, Senior Advisor for Economic Policy at Groundwork Collaborative. Each brought expertise on economic policy and government spending.
After a two-minute suspension of the hearing, Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) introduced a motion to table Crockett’s motion to subpoena Musk, which ultimately passed after the hearing was again suspended for approximately five minutes.
Of course, the Democrats don’t want to question Musk about his findings while working with the federal government, but his recent spat with President Trump and media attacks against Elon Musk and the department he oversaw.
Eventually, after nearly 10 minutes of wasting the committee’s time, Crocket was recognized for five minutes, where she went on an unhinged rant about Donald Trump and Republicans, accusing them of unleashing “the most aggressive attack on the working class families in American history”.
“They want homeless veterans to be permanent, shuttered hospitals to be permanent, disrupted Social Security benefits to be permanent,” she claimed.
After the minority witness, Emily DiVito, agreed with her that all of the cuts to waste fraud and abuse in federal programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, Social Security, SNAP, NIH, EPA, HUD, and FDA are “harmful,” Crockett commended her, noting, “seems like you understand the assignment.” The “assignment” was ostensibly agreeing with everything the Democrats were saying, regardless of whether it was true or not.
She further claimed that DOGE actually stands for disinformation, obstruction, greed, and exploitation, claiming that the Trump Administration is being allowed to “terrorize the public.”

It’s interesting because we sit here in the Department of Government Efficiency Subcommittee, and the most inefficient thing that we have done since we have had the admission of this nonsense was the fact that we have decided that we will not do accountability or oversight over those because we have failed to bring in the person who actually runs those. In fact, we have decided, or actually y’all have decided, that we wouldn’t even debate why it is that we should or should not subpoena Elon Musk. In fact, y’all are just trying to get rid of the musky smell because it wasn’t working out very well for you, and now you want to pretend as if you are coming in here to do exactly what your constituents want you to do. But the last time I checked, y’all didn’t want to go talk to your constituents because if there was one thing they were complaining about, it was Elon and it was DOGE.
You didn’t want to hear those, and listen, if I had time, I would run the tape, but I only got five minutes, because there’s plenty of video footage of all of y’all getting your butts handed to you when you went home, and people told you how they felt about DOGE. So, let’s talk about it for a quick second. Americans are looking for help, but instead of offering it to them, the Republicans have unleashed the most aggressive attack on the working-class families in American history, and they have been excited to do so. In fact, they are here today arguing to make all the chaos, confusion, and destruction caused by those permanent. They want hungry kids to be permanent. They want sicker Americans to be permanent. They want homeless veterans to be permanent, shuttered hospitals to be permanent, disrupted Social Security benefits to be permanent. They sold out their constituents to give permanent tax breaks to billionaires, and they’re doing it, and now they want to have a victory lap, celebrating the pain of their constituents.
So, Miss DeVito, let’s go through some of the things that the Republicans have done to see if they’re helpful or harmful to Americans. Helpful or harmful, stripping health care away from 16 million people? Laying off hundreds of thousands of federal workers? disrupting or delaying federal services such as Social Security? Medicaid? SNAP benefits? Cutting billions from agencies like NIH? EPA? HUD? FDA? all right, seems like you understand the assignment.
There’s an entire agenda, and that is attacking the working-class Americans from start to finish. And then the thing is, they told us that they were going to do this, but, you know, they pretended as if they knew nothing about the playbook that was laid out by good old Heritage Foundation. All of this talk about lowering costs and reducing waste is absolute BS. Their agenda is about one thing: Making the federal government so weak that they can exploit it for their personal gain. They’re stealing your data to help their companies. They’re taking away your health care and food assistance to fund tax cuts for billionaires. Their agenda is pro-disinformation, pro-obstruction, pro-greed, and pro-exploitation. If you didn’t know, that’s what DOGE actually spells out. D, disinformation, O, obstruction, G, greed, and E, exploitation. And congressional Republicans have been complicit in this agenda. They’ve helped this administration terrorize the public. They’ve allowed this administration to launch the country into a war without congressional approval, and while we’re talking about saving money, let me tell you, just dropping those few bombs in one day, that was the beginning of what is going to be a very long bill for us as they talk about being efficient.
There was nothing efficient about doing it. And maybe, if there was some consultation, maybe with those that, say, have constitutional authority, since we care about the Constitution, then maybe we could have saved the American people, not only money, but the lives that are now at risk, as we have to put out warnings for American citizens in this country and abroad. Maybe we need to start leading with the people at the middle of what it is that is guiding us, instead of following one person. The reason that people like me say things like, Y’all are in a cult is because somehow people are advocating their duties and advocating the very people that put them into office, but I got 30 seconds. They’ve allowed this administration to steal congressionally approved money, money for cancer research and food delivery to vulnerable communities. They’ve allowed Elon Musk to infiltrate your medical records and banking data. They’ve allowed this administration to ignore court rulings, and now Republicans are here patting themselves on the back, literally arguing to make this chaos permanent. So, Americans are going to continue to live through chaos and destruction that has been occurring ever since he swore in in January. And I hope y’all remember who caused this, because it wasn’t [inaudible] but it was also the Congressional Republicans who don’t have a spine to do what’s right!

A disgruntled DOJ lawyer recently fired for apologizing to an Obama judge overseeing the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case dropped an eleventh-hour hit piece on Trump’s Third Circuit Court nominee Emil Bove.
Emil Bove is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday for his nomination to the Third Circuit Court so an angry DOJ lawyer launched an attack on his so-called proposal to defy court orders.
In April, Erez Reuveni, a senior DOJ immigration lawyer, was fired after he apologized to a federal judge and appeared unprepared for the hearing in the case of an MS-13 gang member deported to El Salvador’s prison.
Obama judge Paula Xinis previously ordered the Trump Administration to return MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to the United States after he was deported to El Salvador’s notorious CECOT prison.
“This was an illegal act,” Judge Paula Xinis told a Justice Department lawyer Erez Reuveni according to Politico. “Congress said you can’t do it, and you did it anyway.”
Reuveni repeatedly apologized to the judge during the hearing and apologized for the Trump Administration’s actions.
“I am also frustrated that I have no answer for you on a lot of these questions,” said Erez Reuveni. “The government made a choice here to produce no evidence.”
Now Reuveni is attacking Trump’s nominee to the Florida-based Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
According to a 27-page letter submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee through Reuveni’s, lawyers, Emil Bove, the principal associate deputy attorney general, said during a mid-March meeting that the Trump Administration would ignore court orders from radical judges if they interfered with President Trump’s immigration policies.
“Bove stated that DOJ would need to consider telling the courts ‘fuck you’ and ignore any such court order,” Reuveni’s attorneys wrote in the 27-page complaint first reported by The New York Times. “Mr. Reuveni was stunned by Bove’s statement because, to Mr. Reuveni’s knowledge, no one in DOJ leadership — in any Administration — had ever suggested the Department of Justice could blatantly ignore court orders, especially with a ‘fuck you.’”
A top Justice Department official who has been nominated for a federal judgeship suggested to colleagues that the administration would defy court orders in order to carry out President Donald Trump’s aggressive plan for mass deportations, according to a whistleblower letter submitted by another attorney who was present.
The official, Emil Bove, proposed ignoring court orders as administration lawyers strategized in March over expected legal challenges to the president’s plan to assert wartime powers to rapidly deport some immigrants, according to the account from Erez Reuveni, who was fired from his Justice Department post in April.
Reuveni said the episode was followed by a series of attempts by DOJ officials to thwart court orders in at least three immigration-related cases. When Reuveni urged his colleagues to correct course, he says he was “threatened, fired and publicly disparaged.”
Reuveni submitted the 27-page letter through his attorneys Tuesday to the House and Senate judiciary committees and DOJ’s inspector general. It was first reported by The New York Times.
German Federal Court Strikes a Win for Freedom of Expression, and Overturns Ban of Right-Wing Magazine Compact

Slowly but surely, Germany is starting to roll back some unlawful government decisions targeting conservatives and right-wingers in the country.
Back in May, the ‘right-wing extremist’ label attached to AfD party was removed by the Federal Agency for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) pending an appeal.
And now, the Federal Administrative Court ruled that the right-wing ‘Compact’ magazine may continue to be published, finding that its content is covered by freedom of the press and freedom of expression.
This overturns the ban by former Liberal-Globalist Interior Minister Nancy Faeser.
“The right-wing extremist magazine ‘Compact’ can continue to be published. The Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig has lifted the ban issued by the then Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD) in the summer of 2024.
The federal judges thus confirmed their decision from the summary proceedings last August. At that time, they had temporarily suspended the ban, so that the paper could continue to be published for the time being. Now the competent 6th Senate has made its final decision in the main proceedings. The Leipzig judges are responsible in the first and last instance for lawsuits against bans on associations.
[…] According to court information, the circulation of the ‘Compact’ magazine is 40,000 copies, the online TV channel reaches up to 460,000 [views].”
The court ruled that the media company’s content is covered by freedom of the press and freedom of expression, rather than being anti-constitutional and posing a concrete threat.

Petr Bystron, parliamentarian for the AfD and organizer of the ‘Conference of Free Media in the Bundestag’, issued a statement following today’s ruling by the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig on the ban of the Compact magazine:
“The joy over this ruling shows how deeply legal distortions in the suppression of the opposition have become normalized in recent years. After all, it should be a matter of course that media outlets are not banned in Germany. Freedom of speech and of the press are constitutionally protected rights.
The police raids on the Compact editorial offices and the attempt by then-Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser to ban the outlet marked a disgraceful low point in the abuse of state institutions to suppress the opposition in Germany.
Now it is time to investigate this abuse of power and the injustice done to its victims. Faeser and her accomplices must be held accountable for abuse of office and for delegitimizing the state.”

‘The Basic Law guarantees freedom of expression and association even to its enemies’, said presiding judge Ingo Kraft. ‘Many of the anti-immigration or anti-immigration statements cited by the defendant as evidence for the ban can therefore also be interpreted as exaggerated criticism of migration policy, but ultimately permissible in light of fundamental rights of communication’, the court further stated.
In addition, ‘the legal policy demand for stricter naturalization requirements and higher integration standards in citizenship law cannot, in itself, be criticized as incompatible with human dignity or the principle of democracy’.
The ban on Compact first came about in 2024 when former Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser ordered house raids against Compact magazine, including the home of the publisher, Jürgen Elsässer, along with various employees of the outlet. She had the entire publication banned, scrubbed from the internet, and its property seized.
This is a serious black eye for the German security services that sought to erase a press outlet from existence, even one they found objectionable. Their heavy-handed tactics involving morning raids of homes involving officers in SWAT gear will likely be scrutinized in light of the court’s overturning of their ban and property seizure efforts.”
