ESPN announcer Rebecca Lobo apologized on air for saying, “That’s what makes America great,” during ESPN coverage of Sunday’s game between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces.

Lobo’s comment was met with an icy silence by WNBA play-by-play announcer Pam Ward who was apparently triggered by the mention of “make America great.”

Before the era of leftist political correctness and Trump derangement syndrome, it was common for Americans to praise the U.S. for tolerating differences of opinion by saying, “That’s what makes America great.”

Lobo was talking with Ward about a foul call on an Aces player.

Ward: “So they disagree with you?”

Lobo: “They do, and I disagree with them, and that’s fine. That’s what makes America great, right, Pam Ward?”

(Long, icy silence.)

Lobo: “I should rephrase that.”

Ward: “Yes.”

Crosstalk.

Ward: “Yeah, I did think differences of opinion are perfectly fine.

Lobo: “Yes, that’s a better way to say it. Sorry about that.”

Lobo, a former WNBA All-Star and member of the 1996 Olympic gold medal winning women’s basketball team, has been an ESPN commenter since 2004.

Ward, a sports journalist, has been with ESPN since 1996, covering the WNBA and women’s college basketball and softball, as well as hosting numerous shows over the years.

Mike Pence is back on the Trump Train following the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Pence heaped praise upon Trump for the attack, which has sharply divided many of the president’s conventional supporters, during an interview on Sunday’s edition of Fox News Channel’s The Story with Martha MacCallum.

MacCallum began the conversation with a clip of Pence trashing the president.

“The things that you point out there, the importance of the free world and the fact that President Trump made this very gutsy move, I just want to go back to the pre-election period in 2024, because you joined me here several times then. And this is what you said in March of the election year,” she said before the clip.

Pence says in the footage, “Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years. And that’s why I cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump in this campaign.”

“So, now, at this point in the presidency and watching how it’s playing out, do you have any regrets about that statement back then?” the Fox News host asked.

“You know, the president and I have had our differences, which resulted in me staying out of the 2024 race,” Pence replied.

“But I have to tell you, I couldn’t be more proud of President Trump’s decisive leadership in this moment or the extraordinary professionalism and courage of our armed forces that brought about this historic mission. I mean, I must tell you, I saw last night as really a continuation of the policies of our administration, where we isolated Iran as never before.”

Pence continued, “We got out of the Iran nuclear deal. We used force first against Syria when they used chemical weapons on their own people. We took down the ISIS caliphate with our military and their leader. And, of course, the president’s decision, which is very reminiscent to last night, the president’s decision to take down Qasem Soleimani.”

“I have been there at his side. And I must tell you, I honestly had no doubt that, if the Iranians did not step up and make a deal to dismantle entirely the Iranian enrichment program, that President Trump would act, our armed forces would deliver. And that’s just what happened.”

Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin, and Bill Kristol have also celebrated Trump for the move.

“I Guess that’s Why Putin’s THE BOSS” — Trump Blasts Russian Security Council Deputy Over Threat to Arm Iran with Nuclear Weapons
June 23, 2025

President Donald Trump slammed Dmitry Medvedev—the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council—for “casually throwing around the ‘N‑word’ (Nuclear!)” and threatening to supply Iran with nuclear warheads.

Speaking from his Truth Social account, Trump specifically called out former Russian president and current Security Council deputy Dmitry Medvedev’s suggestion that “a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”

Medvedev’s wrote on X:

What have the Americans accomplished with their nighttime strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran?

  1. Critical infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle appears to have been unaffected or sustained only minor damage.
  2. The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue.
  3. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.
  4. Israel is under attack, explosions are rocking the country, and people are panicking.
  5. The US is now entangled in a new conflict, with prospects of a ground operation looming on the horizon.
  6. Iran’s political regime has survived — and in all likelihood, has come out even stronger.
  7. The people are rallying around the country’s spiritual leadership, including those who were previously indifferent or opposed to it.
  8. Donald Trump, once hailed as ‘president of peace,’ has now pushed the US into another war.
  9. The vast majority of countries around the world oppose the actions of Israel and the United States.
  10. At this rate, Trump can forget about the Nobel Peace Prize — not even with how rigged it has become. What a way to kick things off, Mr. President. Congratulations!

Trump fired back:

“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the “N word” (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran?

Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination? If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY. The “N word” should not be treated so casually.

I guess that’s why Putin’s “THE BOSS.” By the way, if anyone thinks our “hardware” was great over the weekend, far and away the strongest and best equipment we have, 20 years advanced over the pack, is our Nuclear Submarines.

They are the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built, and just launched the 30 Tomahawks — All 30 hit their mark perfectly. So, in addition to our Great Fighter Pilots, thank you to the Captain and Crew!”

Uniparty boos Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as she calls to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) posted a long message to her followers on Sunday, questioning Trump’s Iran strikes.

The U.S. bombed Iran on Saturday night, striking three nuclear sites in the first ever use of the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator “Bunker Buster” bombs.

Despite her criticism of the move, Green said she still supports Trump, and she’s allowed to disagree with him.

Highlighting the hundreds of thousands of deaths from fentanyl, the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45, in recent years, Greene noted that “America has not dropped bunker busters on the Cartel’s sophisticated drug tunnels, launched tomahawks on massive cartel poisonous drug operations, or gone to war against the cartels international terrorists networks.”

This is despite Trump vowing on the campaign trail to “wage war on the cartels,” not Iran. “Our country is being poisoned from within by the drugs and by all of the other crime that’s taking place. The drug cartels are waging war on America, and it’s now time for America to wage war on the cartels,” the President said in a 2023 campaign video. “When I am president, it will be the policy of the United States to take down the cartel just as we took down ISIS and the ISIS Caliphate.”

He further stated, “we will show no mercy on the cartels,” and that he will “deploy all necessary military assets,” including the U.S. Navy, Special Forces, cyber warfare, and other overt and covert actions “to inflict maximum damage on Cartel leadership, infrastructure, and operations.” While the President has followed through on his promises regarding designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and closing the southern border, it’s not likely the President’s supporters were voting for massive strikes on Iran before striking the cartels.

“President Trump has surrounded himself with people who once disagreed with him and even ran against him for President,” Greene stated in an apparent jab at Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

War Room Host and former Trump advisor Steve Bannon responded to Greene’s statement, calling her “PURE UNADULTERATED MAGA.”

Previously, Greene posted in response to the bombings on Saturday night, attacking Israel for starting this conflict by attacking Iran first and noting that Israel also has its own nukes. “Every time America is on the verge of greatness, we get involved in another foreign war,” she said.

“This is not our fight. Peace is the answer.”

Greene doubled down on Sunday, saying, “Neocon warmongers beat their drums of war and act like Billy badasses going to war in countries most Americans have never seen and can’t find on a map, but never find the courage to go to war against the actual terrorists who actually do kill Americans, invade our land, and make BILLIONS doing it day after day, year after year.”

She further noted that in her 51 years, she’s “watched our country go to war in foreign lands for foreign causes on behalf of foreign interests for as long as I can remember,” and said she’s “sick of funding foreign aid and foreign countries and foreign everything.”

“I want to fund American interests and issues. I want GREAT trade deals so American businesses and people can afford goods and be successful. I want low inflation and low interest rates. I want American construction, housing, and manufacturing to BOOM. I want Americans to be rich and have security in their future. I want my children’s generation to HAVE A GREAT FUTURE!!!” she said.

Greene also noted that she “can also support President Trump and his great administration on many of the great things they are doing while disagreeing on bombing Iran and getting involved in a hot war that Israel started,” and slammed the “brainwashed Democrat boomers” for calling Trump a king.

She further slammed the radical left Democrats who are feigning outrage over this war after they “FULLY SUPPORTED AND VOTED TO FUND Dementia ridden Biden’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine and stood by Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

“Now what has been done is done and Americans now fear Iranian terrorists attacks on our own soil and being dragged into another war by Netanyahu when we weren’t even thinking about any of this a week ago. We don’t know what the future holds and I pray for the safety of all people and an end to the constant demand for America to go to war.”

Greene concluded, “Enough is enough.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump went scorched earth on Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for sharing similar views after he made an appearance on MSNBC’s Face the Nation to discuss his War Powers Resolution, which would to prohibit U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran war unless authorized by Congress.

President Trump Unloads on Rep. Thomas Massie Over Iran Strike Opposition, Says He’ll Campaign “Very Hard” Against Him in Midterm: “MAGA Doesn’t Want Him”

The President doubled down on Monday, calling Massie a “BUM.”

REPORT: Iran Coordinated Missile Attack on US Base in Qatar with Qatari Government

REPORT: Iran Coordinated Missile Attack on US Base in Qatar with Qatari Government

REPORT: Iran Coordinated Missile Attack on US Base in Qatar with Qatari Government
June 23, 2025

Iran reportedly coordinated its missile attack on the US base in Qatar on Monday with Qatari officials, according to The New York Times.

“Iran coordinated the attacks on the American air base in Qatar with Qatari officials and gave advanced notice that attacks were coming to minimize casualties, according to three Iranian officials familiar with the plans. The officials said Iran symbolically needed to strike back at the US but at the same time carry it out in a way that allowed all sides an exit ramp; they described it as a similar strategy to 2020 when Iran gave Iraq heads up before firing ballistic missiles an American base in Iraq following the assassination of its top general,” the New York Times reported.

Iran launched missiles at the US base in Qatar shortly after Qatar closed its airspace on Monday.

According to Axios, 10 missiles were launched toward US bases in Qatar.

According to Fox News, President Trump convened a meeting with his National Security Council team.

Fox News is also reporting that there are no signs of impact in Qatar after Iran launched a missile attack and no US casualties.

Iran reportedly coordinated the missile attack with Qatar to minimize casualties.

Qatar also said it helped intercept the missiles.

AP reported:

Qatar Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on Al Udeid base by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards calling it “a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, its airspace, and international law.”

The ministry added that the continuation of such military activities endangers security and stability of the region.

“We call for an immediate end to all military activities,” Qatar’s foreign ministry said.

Qatar’s Defense Ministry says Iranian strikes on the gas-rich nation did not inflict any casualties.

The ministry added that Qatari forces took part in intercepting Iranian missiles that were directed toward the Al Udeid base that houses U.S. troops.
