Black Sabbath rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has died at 76.
Osbourne passed away surrounded by his family.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family said in a statement to The Sun. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.
“Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Osbourne passed away just weeks after his final, farewell concert.

Whether it was biting the head off both a bat and a dove, snorting a line of ants or urinating on a US war memorial whilst wearing one of his wife Sharon’s dresses, Osbourne was defined by his antics both on and off stage.
The Black Sabbath frontman was a titan of music who somehow survived controversies that would end the careers of many others, and weathered health problems that would leave most of us on our backs.
But even the Prince of Darkness could not resist mortality forever.
House Panel Votes to Subpoena Epstein’s ‘Partner-In-Crime’ and Convicted Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell for Deposition

Ghisdlaine Maxwell is back to the spotlight.
Everyone wants to hear what Maxwell has to say.
With the Jeffrey Epstein case all over the news, disgraced British socialite and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has come back from the obscurity of a FCI Tallahassee cell to the spotlight again.
It’s been just a few hours since we learned that the DOJ is negotiating to have her testify on the whole Jeffrey Epstein controversy – and now there’s news from the US House of Representatives, as the Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee has just voted to subpoena Maxwell.
Republican congressman from Tennessee, Tim Burchett, moved to direct the panel to issue a subpoena for Maxwell to appear for a deposition – a motion which was approved by voice vote.

Burchett to introduce a motion to subpoena Ms. Maxwell for a deposition, allowing the Committee to formally consider whether to proceed’, a spokesperson for the committee said in a statement.
‘The Committee will seek to subpoena Ms. Maxwell as expeditiously as possible. Since Ms. Maxwell is in federal prison, the Committee will work with the Department of Justice and Bureau of Prisons to identify a date when Committee can depose her’.”

This subpoena comes in the wake of a brewing controversy over the publication of the Epstein files – or, as many simplify, the ‘Epstein list’.
“Its bipartisan passage is also a sign of Democratic pressure on the topic. House Oversight Republicans have quashed prior efforts by Democrats on the panel to subpoena various figures. But the parties banded together Tuesday over a shared interest in Maxwell.”
In the meantime, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche wrote on X that the DOJ will not ‘shy away from uncomfortable truths’, and will ‘pursue justice wherever the facts may lead’.”
“’President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislane Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say’, he added.
‘Therefore, at the direction of Attorney General Bondi, I have communicated with counsel for Ms. Maxwell to determine whether she would be willing to speak with prosecutors from the Department. I anticipate meeting with Ms. Maxwell in the coming days’.”
Trump Withdraws from Globalist UNESCO for the Second Time

President Donald Trump has ordered the United States to exit UNESCO once again, marking the second time he’s pulled the plug on the United Nations cultural agency. The departure will come into effect December 31, 2026.
White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly blasted UNESCO as “woke, divisive cultural and social causes totally out‑of‑step with commonsense policies Americans voted for,” according to the New York Post.

The Trump administration’s State Department echoed that sentiment, saying continuing membership is not in the national interest, accusing the organization of pushing a “globalist, ideological agenda” that runs counter to his “America First” doctrine.
“Today, the United States announced our decision to withdraw from UNESCO. Like many UN organizations, UNESCO strayed from its founding mission. Going forward, U.S. participation in international organizations must make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous,” State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce wrote on X.

Today, the United States informed Director-General Audrey Azoulay of the United States’ decision to withdraw from UNESCO. Continued involvement in UNESCO is not in the national interest of the United States.
UNESCO works to advance divisive social and cultural causes and maintains an outsized focus on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, a globalist, ideological agenda for international development at odds with our America First foreign policy. UNESCO’s decision to admit the “State of Palestine” as a Member State is highly problematic, contrary to U.S. policy, and contributed to the proliferation of anti-Israel rhetoric within the organization.
Continued U.S. participation in international organizations will focus on advancing American interests with clarity and conviction.
Pursuant to Article II(6) of the UNESCO Constitution, U.S. withdrawal will take effect on December 31, 2026. The United States will remain a full member of UNESCO until that time.
Director-General Audrey Azoulay issued the following statement in response to the withdrawal:
I deeply regret President Donald Trump’s decision to once again withdraw the United States of America from UNESCO – a decision that will take effect at the end of December 2026.
This decision contradicts the fundamental principles of multilateralism, and may affect first and foremost our many partners in the United States of America— communities seeking site inscription on the World Heritage List, Creative City status, and University Chairs.
However regrettable, this announcement was anticipated, and UNESCO has prepared for it.
In recent years, we have undertaken major structural reforms and diversified our funding sources. Thanks to the efforts made by the Organization since 2018, the decreasing trend in the financial contribution of the US has been offset, so that it now represents 8% of the Organization’s total budget compared to 40% for some United Nations entities; while at the same time, UNESCO’s overall budget has steadily increased. Today, the Organization is better protected in financial terms, with the steady support of a large number of Member States and private contributors. These voluntary contributions have doubled since 2018.
At this stage, the Organization is not considering any layoffs.
In spite of President Donald Trump’s first withdrawal in 2017, UNESCO stepped up its efforts to take action wherever its mission could contribute to peace and demonstrated the pivotal nature of its mandate.
The Organization successfully completed the largest operation in its history, with the reconstruction of the old city of Mosul which began in 2018; it adopted the first and only global standard-setting instrument on the ethics of artificial intelligence; and it has developed major programmes to support culture and education in conflict settings, whether in Ukraine, Lebanon or Yemen. It has also stepped up its action for biodiversity and natural heritage, as well as for girls’ education.
The reasons put forward by the United States to withdraw from the Organization are the same as seven years ago even though the situation has changed profoundly, political tensions have receded, and UNESCO today constitutes a rare forum for consensus on concrete and action-oriented multilateralism.
These claims also contradict the reality of UNESCO’s efforts, particularly in the field of Holocaust education and the fight against antisemitism.
UNESCO is the only United Nations agency responsible for these issues, and its work has been unanimously acclaimed by major specialized organizations such as the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC, the World Jewish Congress and its American Section, and the American Jewish Committee (AJC). UNESCO has supported 85 countries in implementing tools and training teachers to educate students about the Holocaust and genocides, and to combat Holocaust denial and hate speech.
UNESCO will continue to carry out these missions, despite inevitably reduced resources.
UNESCO’s purpose is to welcome all the nations of the world, and the United States of America is and will always be welcome.
We will continue to work hand in hand with all of our American partners in the private sector, academia and non-profit organizations, and will pursue political dialogue with the US administration and Congress.

The Trump White House has responded to Hunter Biden’s wild interview on Monday and did not hold back one bit.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Hunter Biden lashed out at President Trump and the administration in a profanity-laced tirade about illegals being deported during an interview with Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan.
“I say, f**k you! How are we getting those people back from fucking El Salvador?” Hunter Biden said of the illegals sent to El Salvador’s CECOT prison.
Hunter Biden also said that if he were president, he would invade El Salvador if it didn’t send their citizens from prison and send them to the United States.
“I would pick up the phone and call the f**king President of El Salvador and say, you either f**king send them back or I’m going to f**king invade. It’s a f**king crime what they’re doing. He’s a f**king dictator!” Hunter shouted.
Hunter Biden even echoed a tired liberal talking point about how America needs illegal aliens to continue serving as indentured servants.
“Am I not supposed to feel for someone? Am I going to be like all these Democrats say, ‘You have to talk about and realize that people are really upset about illegal immigration?’ F**k you. How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned?” Biden added.
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded to the bizarre Hunter interview with a devastating line, noting both his dad’s open borders immigration policy while roasting Hunter’s drug habit.
“A CBP agent was just shot in the face by two criminal illegal aliens that Joe Biden let into the country, but Hunter is more concerned about who is going to clean up his hotel room after his benders,” Jackson told Fox News.
Ouch! But Jackson was not done.
“This sort of callous, self-interested maliciousness from the entire Biden Crime Family is exactly why Joe Biden left office with record-low approval ratings,” Jackson added.
This is precisely the correct response. Jackson probably should have included former Border czar Kamala Harris in her reply, considering she could not separate herself from Biden on the issue or any other after seizing the Democratic party nomination for president last year.

House Republican leaders have canceled Thursday’s legislative session, deciding instead to recess after wrapping up business on Wednesday, according to Axios.
The House was originally scheduled to wrap up business on Thursday before heading out for a five-week August recess. But following eruptions within the GOP over how to handle the Epstein documents—and Massie’s discharge petition—leadership decided to flee town a day early, canceling Thursday’s session entirely. The chamber is not expected to return until September.
According to Axios, Massie’s petition now has over 10 Republican signatures—enough to bypass the Speaker and bring the measure to a vote.
It can be recalled that Massie joined forces with Rep. Ro Khanna (D‑Calif.) on a discharge petition aimed at compelling a full House vote on releasing classified Jeffrey Epstein files.
“If the executive branch won’t release phase 2 of the Epstein files, we will. Americans deserve transparency and the victims deserve justice,” Massie wrote on X.
Author and commentator Mike Cernovich blasted the move: “Why didn’t he do this during Biden’s regime? Total stunt queen with deep resentment for Trump—and he’s insulting your intelligence.”

Johnson reportedly canceled Rules Committee votes and shelved plans to move forward on major GOP legislation—including key immigration and energy bills. Instead, only low-priority noncontroversial measures made it to the floor before the early recess.
Speaker Johnson insisted Monday night, “We have lots of work with appropriations and committees doing very important stuff.”
But by Tuesday morning, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) quietly noticed the schedule change—effectively pulling the plug on the week.
The House is leaving Washington a day early for it’s five-week August recess after tensions erupted over efforts to force release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Why it matters: Fallout from the debate over the Epstein files has effectively frozen House business. Leadership opted to cut the week short and leave town before things escalate further.
The final House votes before September are now scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

On the same day, House Speaker Mike Johnson tore into Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), accusing him of sabotaging GOP unity and standing in the way of transparency.

So do I have some concern about that I do, but you know in me and my way I try to I try to follow Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment: never speak evil of another Republican.
“My gosh, it’s hard to do sometimes right here. I also try to follow the scripture you know it says, Bless those who persecute you.
“So let me just say about Thomas Massie, could you just accept my Southern, bless his heart, okay, I don’t know. what else to say about it.”
