MSNBC Contributor Implies Violence Against ICE Agents is Justified: ‘Lawful Right of Self-Defense’ (VIDEO)

MSNBC contributor Joyce Vance is a former U.S. Attorney who was appointed by Obama. This week, she appeared on the network and implied that the violence we are seeing against ICE agents is justified.
Her argument is based on the fact that ICE agents are masked, which ignores the fact that these men and women are wearing masks to protect themselves and their families from the unhinged and radical left.
Does everyone remember how the liberal media constantly accused the Tea Party of being potentially violent, even though no violence ever materialized? Compare their rhetoric from back then to this attempt to justify the violence of the left.
ALI VELSHI: Joyce, let me ask you one thing….You’re a prosecutor, I want to ask you, there are legitimate reasons why some enforcement agencies, some police agencies, go undercover or, you know, do things in shadows to achieve certain things. I would assume that’s specific and, you, know, it needs to be, needs to comport with some laws.
JOYCE VANCE: Exactly. There are very serious legal restrictions around the use of, for instance, FBI agents as undercover operatives. Very strict rules regarding how it’s done, what they can do, what they can’t do. But you know what I’ve never seen a federal agent working a case due is pull a mask up so nobody knows who they are and go out and terrorize a civilian population.
And I think it’s important for us at this point to be very plain-speaking when we say that this is not normal, it’s not acceptable, and it’s a danger sign. You know, we are well past the point where we can just identify danger signs and say, oh, there might be problems down the road. The problems are here, they’re in the right now.
And as we see people being pulled off the streets — you know, the danger to law enforcement, quite frankly, is that when you’re masked like that and people don’t know who you are, someone might exercise their lawful right of self-defense to protect themselves, thinking they’re being kidnapped. So the notion that this is for law enforcement’s protection is utterly ludicrous. And we need to do away with that.

The left wants ICE unmasked so that their violent street thugs can go after them and perhaps even their families. There is no other explanation for their unmasking demands.

Caitlin Clark finally lost it during the Indianapolis Fever game on Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun in Boston.
The greatest shooter in the game has been hampered this year by injuries, another worthless coach, a completely dysfunctional league, and referees who stand by idly as the leagues super-star is clobbered, pushed, assaulted, and pounded on in game after game.
On Tuesday night, Caitlin Clark had enough! In the second half, the Fever guard was seen talking to the ref during a break in play.
The ref, Michael Price, then said something to Clark that made her snap.
It’s bad enough that this league and these refs allow Clark to get hammered in game after game, but it was too much Clark to have them smart off to her.

Clark let the ref have it.
Then minutes later Caitlin Clark was re-injured at the end of the game after a Connecticut player aggressively guarded her and gave her a little shove.
Clark left the game crying.

Caitlin will likely miss the Allstar Game this weekend if she re-injured her groin. She left the game in tears.
Caitlin finally had enough.
Caitlin’s brother Colin later blamed the referees for her injury. They refuse to call fouls and allow Caitlin to be banged up and assaulted in game after game.

Chicago Public Schools Going Broke – Facing $734 Million Budget Deficit and Laying Off Almost 1,500 Teachers and Staff

There’s an old saying that goes, something that can’t go on forever won’t.
Chicago is now in the early stages of learning that this applies to their public school system. They’re facing a massive budget deficit of $734 million and are on pace to lay off almost 1,500 teachers and staffers.
Perhaps Mayor Brandon Johnson should have been more focused on delivering the services that American citizen taxpayers paid for and less on the needs of illegal immigrants and Chicago’s ‘sanctuary city’ status.

CPS parents concerned about looming budget cuts following layoffs
Chicago Public Schools parents and community members sounded off on Monday, three days after the district announced more than 1,400 layoffs, including teachers, classroom assistants and security officers.
The first of five community listening sessions took place at Dyett High School, allowing parents a chance to provide input on the budgetary process following layoffs.
The district’s chief budget officer painted a grim picture of where Chicago schools stand.
“We are facing a budget deficit of $734 million for the 2025-2026 budget. In plainest terms, we are $734 million short of of potential expenses next year,” said Michael Sitkowski, CPS chief budget officer.
Feedback from the roundtable discussions is expected to help district officials make major budgetary decisions.
“For us to pass a balanced budget, this means we need to identify $734 million of additional resources or cost reductions,” he said.
So, those in attendance got to work. Parents, teachers, and even students, took a serious look at their biggest concerns.

Republican Rep. Burgess Owens Calls Out Georgetown University Interim Pres. for Allowing Antisemitism on Campus: ‘Would You Allow the KKK to Speak?’ (VIDEO)

Some leaders from higher education testified on Capitol Hill today and were grilled by Republicans about the ongoing issue of antisemitism on college campuses.
At one point, Republican Rep. Burgess Owens of Utah cornered the interim president of Georgetown University by asking him if the school would allow the KKK to speak on campus.
It’s a completely fair question. Burgess points out that the rhetoric coming from the ‘free Palestine’ mob is not any different.
[Rep. Burgess Owens] confronted Georgetown President Robert Groves with a simple, pointed question:
“Would you allow a member of the KKK who wished the deaths of Black Americans to speak at Georgetown?”
“No.”
Owens didn’t let up: “So if Georgetown would disallow white supremacist bigots, why does it allow Palestinian antisemitic bigots invited by faculty or students?”
Groves had no real answer—just vague talk about diverse viewpoints.

Groves responds to reports of alleged antisemitism on Georgetown’s campus
In response to representatives’ questions, Groves cited several instances in which Georgetown enacted disciplinary actions against alleged antisemitic behavior. Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) first pointed to a tweet that Georgetown Chair of Islamic Civilization Jonathan A.C. Brown published on his X page on June 22.
“I hope Iran does some symbolic strike on a base,” Brown wrote.
According to a university spokesperson, Georgetown has since removed Brown from his position as Chair of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, though he retains the position of Alwaleed bin Talal Chair of Islamic Civilization in the SFS. Groves said that the university has placed him on leave awaiting further review.
This is one of the main reasons why higher education finds itself under fire right now. Leaders at many of these schools have allowed this hate to fester to the point where it got out of control. They should have stopped it in its tracks, but they failed.

Whoopi Goldberg of The View went off today at Obama and Mark Cuban for their recent similar scolding of Democrats.
Obama is back out in the public square because he is trying to help the party with their massive cash flow problem. Mark Cuban is just trying to give them advice on how to win over the public.
Whoopi looks at recent crowds of protesters and believes Democrat voters are fully engaged. She is angry at Democrat leaders who she sees as weak, which is correct to a certain point.
She, like many people on the left, just doesn’t want to hear that what they are doing is not working.
Whoopi Goldberg, ‘View’ hosts lash out at Obama, Cuban for scolding Democrats
“The View” co-hosts clapped back at former President Obama and Mark Cuban’s recent criticisms of the Democratic Party on Tuesday, arguing that the voters have been doing the work and elected officials were to blame.
“So, let me remind everybody who is out in the front lines marching when we had the giant marches that went on, it was the people, the people went out,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said. “They were not navel-gazing, it was older people saying, ‘why are you touching my Social Security?’ It was not people whining. It was about people saying, ‘why are you taking these rights from my child when my child was born here?’ This has not been about Democrats laying back. This has been about y’all, because their messaging was always the same.”
Goldberg was referring in part to Obama, who urged Democrats to “toughen up” on Friday at a political fundraiser, and said success would require a “little less navel-gazing.”
“And it’s going to require Democrats to just toughen up,” Obama said. “Don’t tell me you’re a Democrat, but you’re kind of disappointed right now, so you’re not doing anything. No, now is exactly the time that you get in there and do something.”
