As Syrian Government-backed Islamist terrorists massacred roughly one thousand Druze and Christians in Suwayda, Southern Syria, US Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack denied Syrian regime forces were involved, complained about Israel defending the Druze from the terrorists, and earlier shook hands with former ISIS terrorist and new Syrian President Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani.

A commentary by Gateway Pundit Guest contributor Avi Abelow from Israel:

The world is watching, horrified but passive, as Sunni forces, some officially associated with the Jolani regime and others not, sweep through southern Syria, leaving trails of mass-executed Druze civilians in their wake in the area of Suwayda.

Among the victims are American citizens, who returned to visit family in Suwayda and Jabal al-Druze. Some were dragged from homes. Some were shot execution-style, recorded on videos, that have gone viral around the world. Eerily similar to the atrocities, and videos of pride, that the Iranian and Qatari supported Hamas terrorists did to Israel on Oct. 7th.

And yet, as these videos circulate online, Washington remains silent.

Why?

Because these atrocities are being committed by the very “Sunni forces”, supported by Turkey and Qatar,  the U.S. is backing, under the watch of Trump’s pick, Ambassador and special envoy Tom Barrack, a former Ambassador to Turkey who has past business ties to Qatar.

If this atrocity against the Syrian Druze, Alawaites, and Christians continues, and if Trump fails to act to stop it, this could become his Benghazi, a moment of moral abandonment and geopolitical blindness that stains his legacy.

Tom Barrack must be replaced. Immediately.

Barrack’s policies have endangered the minorities in Syria, Druze American citizens, empowered Sunni jihadists with ties to ISIS and al-Qaeda, and weakened Israel’s ability to act against unfolding genocide.

If Trump wants to preserve his reputation as a president of moral clarity and America First, he must do what Obama never had the courage to do in Benghazi:

Stand with America’s allies. Stop the terrorists. And let Israel lead.

Even staunch Trump supporter Mark Levin is calling out the disaster in plain terms on his Twitter/X account:

“This guy Barrack strikes me as a fool. His friends in the Syrian regime, including ISIS veterans, are slaughtering Druze and other minorities. And he has the gall to condemn the Israeli government for ‘complicating’ matters?! This kind of bullsh*t public positioning gives aid and comfort to murderers. It incentivizes them. This fool should be fired.”

And again:

“I just watched a horrific video of a Syrian terrorist cutting the heart out of a Druze civilian as he was alive and defenseless! … Meanwhile, our envoy, Barrack, denounces the Israelis who are the only people trying to protect them.”

Levin is right. And the time to act is now.

Over the past week, multiple Druze community leaders from Syria have publicly called on Israel to not only defend their villages—but to liberate and remain in southern Syria.

One statement from a Druze elder in Suwayda reads:

“We ask the Israeli government: do not wait. We are your neighbors and your allies. We share blood. We beg you to stop the Sunni militias. Only you can prevent another massacre.”

Another, broadcast on a Druze community channel in Arabic, pleaded:

“Let Israel come. Let them take control if they must. We would rather live under Israeli protection than die under jihadist knives.”

And these pleas are not new.

Back in December 2024 Druze leaders from southern Syria pleaded: “We want to be annexed to the Israeli Golan to preserve our dignity … We want to join our people in the Golan and live with freedom and honor.”

They knew a massacre was coming, and they wanted to be protected. But Trump’s envoy Barrack has done everything to allow for their massacre.

Israel liberating Southern Syria is not occupation. This is liberation. This is moral clarity. And this is strategic alignment with persecuted, pro-Western minorities.

A strategic Israeli presence in southern Syria would do more than save Druze lives. It would also empower the persecuted Kurds, who have also been targeted by Sunni supremacists and Iranian militias alike.

  • It would block Iran’s land corridor to Lebanon.
  • It would neutralize Turkey and Qatar’s jihadist proxies, acting as part of their Islamic global jihad, ignored by Barrack and the Trump administration
  • It would give America a loyal, local force protecting minority rights, without needing to deploy a single U.S. soldier.

This is what Trump’s “America First” policy is supposed to be about: strong, sovereign allies like Israel doing the hard work—so American blood and force doesn’t have to.

Yet somehow, Tom Barrack is pressuring Israel not to act.

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz publicly rebuked him:

“He doesn’t know the facts,” Katz said, after Barrack complained that Israeli strikes to protect Druze villages were “complicating” regional stability.

This isn’t stability. It’s genocide. And it’s being enabled by Washington.

We cannot allow this to be another Rwanda. Another Yazidi mountain crisis. Another Benghazi.

Israel is ready to act. It has already struck terror convoys, opened humanitarian corridors, and treated wounded Druze in its hospitals.

But it needs the diplomatic space and moral backing to go further.

Here’s What Must Happen Now:

  1. Replace Tom Barrack. He is dangerously unfit and morally compromised.
  2. Publicly back Israeli liberation operations in southern Syria.
  3. Establish a no-fly zone and humanitarian corridor for Druze, Alawite, Kurd and Christian refugees.
  4. Freeze all U.S. support to Sunni rebel factions, including those armed by Turkey and Qatar.
  5. Investigate Barrack’s financial entanglements with Gulf states and Turkey. The American people deserve to know who’s influencing our foreign policy.
  6. Reaffirm U.S. support for Israel and Kurdish autonomy, two bulwarks of Western values in the Middle East.7. Reimpose sanctions on Syria and Jolani’s terror group HTS

If the conservative movement turns its back on Israel, on the Druze, and on the truth, it won’t be Israel that falls. It will be the fall of the moral foundation of the West and a jihadi win in its global jihadi agenda.

Because this is not about foreign aid or Middle East “complexities.”

This is about right and wrong and protecting the world against the genocidal jihadi death cult advancing in the West as well.

This is about preventing genocidedefending minorities, and choosing truth over tribalism, values over vacuous talking points.

Trump has a choice: be the man who stopped another Middle East genocide. Or let Tom Barrack turn his legacy into Benghazi 2.0.

History is watching.

And Israel? Israel will do what it always does—stand alone if it must, defend the innocent, and tell the truth, no matter the cost.

But how tragic if it must do so without the full support of the Trump administration, the one ally committed, in words, to lead differently than previous administrations.

Defense Department Continues Ignoring Harms to Readiness by Pushing Flu Shots Contrary to Large Body of Evidence
July 27, 2025

After the tyrannical enforcement of the now-rescinded 2021 COVID-19 shot mandate, now determined to be “unlawful as implemented,” skepticism of all vaccines has clearly increased throughout the military community.

Sadly, some service members are facing punitive actions for objecting to the flu shot, having argued it is ineffective and detrimental to not only their health, but also their religious convictions. An anonymous Marine officer and Air Force Major Brennan Schilperoort share a similar moral and religious objection to the shot, while also suffering adverse effects from a previous injection. Additionally, both officers have also shown natural immunity.

Rather than recognizing their Constitutionally protected religious rights to substantiate their objection, the military has decided to separate both individuals from service. Although Maj. Schilperoort’s pay was restored by the Air Force, it must be noted Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is aware of their situation, but has thus far remained silent on the issue of separation over the flu shot.

The Gateway Pundit spoke to independent journalist Jeremy Hammond, whose articles about the flu shot have elicited high praise from Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

For Hammond, “The coerced vaccination of military service members is yet another unfortunate example of how the government systematically violates individuals’ right to informed consent.” He explained, “This policy exists despite scientific evidence indicating that getting an annual flu shot can actually increase the risk of influenza illness.”

A Cleveland Clinic study of their 54,402 employees during the 2024-2025 flu season found the flu shot was not effective in preventing the transmission of the respiratory illness. Results of the study can be found at MedRxiv, pronounced “med-archive,” an online platform used to share “preprints” in the medical, clinical, and health science fields.

The manuscript is a preprint, meaning it has not been peer-reviewed. Thus, “it reports new medical research that has yet to be evaluated and so should not be used to guide clinical practice,” according to the site.

While some might question the validity and reliability of the research as a result, preprints are also known to allow for quicker dissemination of research, provide opportunities for feedback from the scientific community, or could simply be considered an early version of the research manuscript.

With these parameters in place to consider, the study found “in an analysis adjusted for age, sex, clinical nursing job, and employment location, the risk of influenza was significantly higher for the vaccinated compared to the unvaccinated state, yielding a calculated vaccine effectiveness of −26.9%” [emphasis added]. Therefore, based on this data, it can be stated vaccinated individuals were 27 percent more likely to get the flu.

While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other public health organizations continue to recommend the flu shot, the Cleveland Clinic study has given pause to many concerned about the efficacy of the shot.

For military service members who take objection to the flu shot and seek accommodation or exemption, an objective look at previously published data also supports their stance. Consider the wealth of citations included in a May 2020 letter sent to Dr. Sanjay Gupta by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

For example, Kennedy, who now serves as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), pointed out that in a 2010 systematic meta review of literature, “Cochrane researchers found ‘no evidence that [flu] vaccines prevent viral transmission or complications.’”

What’s more, he wrote, “a study from January 18, 2018, in the Journal of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, PNAS, found that influenza vaccination actually increased transmission of the virus, with vaccinated individuals shedding more than six times as much aerosolized virus in their breath than unvaccinated individuals.”

He also noted that a January 2020 study by the Department of Defense “found that the flu shot INCREASES the risks from coronavirus by 36%.”

Hammond referenced multiple studies, each cited in a 2019 special report entitled “How You’re Being Lied to about the Risks of Getting a Flu Vaccine Annually.” He argued, “The 2010 Cochrane review is a good example of how the science is systematically misrepresented by the mainstream media.”

He pointed out, “The New York Times cited it to support the claim that flu shot confers ‘a big payoff in public health’, when in fact the review found that the fundamental assumptions underlying the CDC’s universal flu shot recommendation were unsupported by scientific evidence, and the review authors went so far in their criticism of the CDC’s policy as to accuse it of deliberately misrepresenting the science to support its policy.”

He asserted, “CDC policymakers refuse to consider that superior natural immunity is an opportunity cost of vaccination, which helps to explain the findings of numerous studies of an increased [emphasis added] risk of influenza illness associated with annual receipt of flu shots.” In addition, he said, “There is also the problem of ‘original antigenic sin’, where the initial priming of the immune system prejudices future responses to pathogenic challenges.”

Hammond offered a series of studies reported in PLoS Medicine in 2010, which “found an increased risk of illness due to the 2009 pandemic swine flu among those who’d received that year’s seasonal flu shot.” Additionally, he said, “A study in the Journal of Virology in 2011 found that annual influenza vaccination hampers the development of robust cell-mediated immunity that would otherwise be induced by infection.”

There are also “non-specific effects” of vaccines to consider. “Just because a vaccine is effective at reducing the risk of illness from the target pathogen does not mean that it reduces the overall risk of illness,” he shared. “Vaccinations can detrimentally affect the immune system in ways that make people more vulnerable to other diseases.” To that end, a study in Clinical Infectious Diseases in 2012 found that children who received the flu shot had an increased risk of non-influenza infections.

“Even a CDC-funded study in Clinical Infectious Diseases in 2014 found that the more that people received a flu shot each year, the less effective the protection was over time, such that ‘vaccine-induced protection was greatest for individuals not vaccinated during the prior 5 years,’” Hammond shared. “Tellingly, the CDC researchers didn’t include in their study individuals who had not received any flu shots during the observation period for comparison.” He concluded, “You can’t find what you don’t look for, so the CDC doesn’t bother looking.”

Two weeks ago, Air Force Col. (Ret.) Rob Maness welcomed Maj. Schilperoort to his show:

Shortly after, the Air Force major also appeared on the Finding Your Spone podcast with Dr. Chase Spears. Click here to listen to the podcast.

It is not surprising that leading neocon/warmonger and former National Security Advisor John Bolton would rally around his Deep State allies and trash Trump as DNI Tulsi Gabbard turns the screws on those who manufactured the Russia Hoax.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Gabbard released her second batch of previously undisclosed documents on Wednesday morning. These documents include more proof that Barack Obama directly gave the order to publish the Russia Collusion hoax, knowing there was no proof to back it up.

Page three of this latest document drop shows that then-President Obama ordered the release of documents, knowing there was no evidence to back them up. Obama didn’t just know about the Russia hoax – he directed it. All to delegitimize Trump’s historic win.

Obama also helped cover up the blackmail Vladimir Putin had on Crooked Hillary Clinton, including her numerous health issues.

Several deep state hacks affiliated with Obama also helped push the Russia Hoax and are in hot water. One person who should be particularly concerned is former CIA Director John Brennan.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is already so worried that he has lawyered up.

Now, Bolton should start sweating.

Real Clear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry revealed last night that Bolton had a classified memo in his possession that showed how former CIA Director John Brennan helped manufacture intelligence linking Trump to Vladimir Putin. Still, he never briefed Trump on the matter.

Guess what he did instead?

He stuck it in a National Security Council safe because he supposedly believed the intel. What a snake.

“Sources tell me in 2018 former Trump Nat’l Security Adviser John Bolton received a classified memo summarizing the explosive report exposing how Brennan cooked up Putin-Trump intel, but Bolton stuck it in an NSC safe and never briefed Trump, believing the Brennan intel,” Sperry wrote on X.

Perhaps Gabbard should also start looking at neocons like Bolton from the first Trump Administration. It would not be surprising to discover that he was not alone in betraying the president then.

Atlantic writer Jemele Hill took to CNN to fantasize about President Trump losing support from his Republican base over the Jeffrey Epstein controversy.

CNN’s Senior Data Reporter, Harry Enten, however, threw cold water on her and provided a real-time fact check that debunked Hill’s wishful thinking.

Hill: This is the downside of the strategy that he has imported that got him elected. His entire strategy with the Epstein files was to try to give people the strong impression that this was Bill Clinton, this was Democrats, this was something that they were trying to hide. Now that this has all turned on him, he won’t be able to convince his base that this is a transparent investigation at all. I don’t know what it would take for them to believe that there’s no cover-up.

I mean, you’ve convinced a lot of these people, part of your whole spiel is that the government isn’t to be trusted. And then you’re asking these same people to suddenly trust that this was all on the up and up. There is no list, that everything is as it appears, and they’re just not going to buy it. And what’s always interesting to me is what it takes people to get off the Trump train. It’s not the xenophobia, it’s not the racism, it’s not the bigotry three. It is this. Are they off the Trump train? I mean, I think this is the part of what Charlotte is saying. It depends on who you’re talking to.

CNN’s Abby Phillip: Because I think that they really don’t want to be off the Trump train. They want to be on the Trump train. They just want Trump to get in line with them on this issue.

Enten: I think that’s exactly right, Abby. Look, I think for Trump, it does feel a little bit like the lady doth protest a little too much, right?

But when it comes to his approval rating with Republicans, it’s basically as solid as it ever was. You put it up on the graphic before where you saw the smallest decline was among Republicans.

If you look at the average of polls as approval rating with Republicans, still at about 90%.

Of course, those same Republicans say they are dissatisfied with the amount of information that’s been released so far. Everyone is dissatisfied with the amount of information that’s been released so far with concern of the Epstein files. Everyone thinks that there’s something more going on there.

But then making that leap to all of a sudden that his base is moving away from him, at least at this particular point in the polling data, we’re not seeing it.
