Minnesota Democrat Resigns After Jury Finds Her Guilty of Felony Burglary

Minnesota Democrat State Senator Nicole Mitchell resigned after a jury found her guilty of felony burglary last week.
The jury convicted Nicole Mitchell of both charges: First-degree burglary and possession of burglary of theft tools after she got caught breaking into her stepmother’s home to retrieve her deceased father’s belongings.
“I am stepping down from my MN Senate seat today, but I cannot do that without expressing my gratitude,” Nicole Mitchell said.
Bodycam footage of Minnesota Democrat Senator Nicole Mitchell was released during the trial for her first-degree burglary charges earlier this month.
Nicole Mitchell was arrested last April for breaking into her stepmother’s Detroit Lakes home to retrieve some of her recently deceased father’s belongings.
Nicole Mitchell’s stepmother called 911 and reported a burglary at her home on April 22, 2024.
Mitchell wore all black and tried to run out of the basement as law enforcement arrived on the scene to confront her.
The Democrat was charged with first-degree burglary and possession of burglary or theft tools, CBS News reported.
Earlier this month, bodycam footage of police officers confronting a beanie-clad Mitchell was released.

The scourge of unchecked mass migration has hit the United Kingdom especially hard, to the point where the oppressed local population has started to push back.
That is the case of the small town of Epping, in Essex.
There, the local Bell Hotel has become a reason for continued protests and conflicts, due to its use as accommodation for what Labour calls ‘asylum seekers’, but are really invading illegal migrants.
The tensions came to a head after Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu was arrested. The 38-year-old Ethiopian illegal has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl soon after he arrived in Britain.

Protests ensued, and over 1,000 demonstrators gathered outside the hotel, where they chanted anti-migrant slogans and expressed fears for the safety of women and children victims of harassment by the male illegals.
Eventually, protesters clashed with both the police and Globalist counter-protesters that were brought in by the police, leading to Reform UK’s Nigel Farage’s call for the police chief to resign.
Essex Police escorted a Stand Up To Racism rent-a-mob to the protest against illegal immigration outside the Bell Hotel in Epping.
First, they denied it. But when shown the footage below, Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper defended the decision, saying:
Bottles and flares are thrown, police vehicles damaged, and 18 arrests made – all of protesting citizens.
Now, the situation escalated to such a point that both the Chief of Police and the Local Council of Epping have decided that the British Home Office must close the Epping migrant hotel at the center of a series of protests.

“Epping Forest district council voted unanimously to urge the Government to close The Bell Hotel, which is housing asylum seekers.
Multiple protests have been held outside the hotel since July 13 after an asylum seeker was charged with allegedly attempting to kiss a 14-year-old girl.”

They are now planning to take legal action against the Home Office
This comes after Roger Hirst, Essex’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, also urged the Home Secretary to ‘review the use of the hotel for housing asylum seekers’.
“In a letter to Yvette Cooper, Mr Hirst said The Bell Hotel was ‘unsuitable’ for housing migrants and that the presence of asylum seekers was ‘clearly creating community tension’.”
[…] In his letter, Mr Hirst said: ‘[I am] requesting a meeting to discuss the ongoing use of hotels in the Epping Forest district of Essex, and elsewhere in the county, to accommodate newly-arrived asylum seekers. Specifically, I am seeking to highlight the unsuitability of The Bell Hotel in Epping for this purpose, and request that its use be reviewed. The presence of asylum seeker accommodation in this district is clearly creating community tension. These large-scale protests are disrupting local life and placing an unwelcome burden on Essex Police resources’.”

As the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring becomes a bigger story by the day, the DOJ Number 2 official, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, headed down to Florida to meet in person with the convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s long-time ‘partner-in-crime’.
After a 5-hour questioning marathon yesterday (24), today the official met with the disgraced British socialite for the second time in the US Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee, Florida.
Maxwell’s attorney David Markus told the press after this second day of interviews that his client answered questions about ‘a hundred people’.
“Ghislaine Maxwell was spotted [yesterday] returning to prison with a box of materials after she was grilled by Donald Trump’s Department of Justice over her association with former lover Jeffrey Epstein.
[…] She apparently also brought some personal effects, as she was spotted returning to prison in Tallahassee, Florida with a box of materials as she re-entered prison.”

David Markus, attorney for Maxwell, said she answered every question.
“’Miss Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped. She never invoked a privilege. She never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability’.”

As he left for Scotland, US President Donald J. Trump spoke to the press, and had to endure the usual grilling over Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Trump didn’t seem to rule out the possibility of pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking charges for recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein. ‘I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I have not thought about’, Trump told reporters outside the White House this morning before leaving for a trip to Scotland.”
President Trump says he’s allowed to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.
The only reason he’d do that is if she exposed the Epstein clients.
Trump also said he wasn’t sure how the first day of Maxwell-DOJ conversation went.
The president trusts Blanche to be ‘a professional lawyer’ who has been through situations like this before.
Maxwell’s attorney Markus said ahead of a second day of interviews with the Justice Department that his client ‘has been treated very unfairly’.
“’If you looked up scapegoat in the dictionary, her face would be next to the definition, next to the dictionary definition of it’, Markus told reporters in Florida. ‘So, you know, we’re grateful for this opportunity to finally be able to say what really happened, and that’s what we’re going to do, yesterday and today’. He claimed that Maxwell has experienced ‘terrible, awful conditions for five years’.
‘We wouldn’t keep animals the way she’s been kept in prison’, he said, adding that ‘it’s unbelievable that she can keep her spirits up this high, and we’re proud of her’.”
Maxwell answered questions about 100 different people.
“Outside the courthouse where the meetings were taking place, David Markus, a Miami attorney representing Maxwell, told reporters that he hoped for ‘another productive day.” He said Maxwell had answered all of Blanche’s questions and thanked the government ‘for this opportunity to finally be able to say what really happened’.
Markus told reporters after a second day of questioning that Ghislaine Maxwell answered questions ‘about 100 different people’ during her meeting with the Justice Department.
‘She literally answered every question’, he said. ‘She was asked about maybe about 100 different people. She answered questions about everybody and she didn’t hold anything back’.”

Two days before the sentencing hearing for Idaho killer, Brian Kohberger, President Trump took to his Truth Social platform to complain that the Judge should make Kohberger explain why he carried out the murders. Of course, many might wonder why the President of the United States isn’t even remotely interested in releasing the FBI investigation into the attempt on his life last July 13th at Butler, PA? But putting that aside for the moment, let’s consider what actually may be behind Kohberger’s deadly actions and has been covered up by the judicial process.
Brian Kohberger has a long mental health record. Yep. What is known is that his attorneys report that, at a minimum, Kohberger suffers from Autism and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). His attorneys have let the jury know about these psychiatric disorders so it will understand Kohberger’s weird, distant, courtroom demeanor. And apparently the killer also suffers from a “developmental coordination disorder,” that according to his attorneys, would impact Kohberger’s ability to carry out the murderous crime in the alleged time frame.
Here’s the rub. Kohberger has quite a mental health history that has been suppressed by the court when, just prior to the trial, District Judge Steven Hippler sealed Kohberger’s mental health records “to protect the privacy of the information.” According to court records “the information subject to this Protective Order is confidential in nature and not appropriate for public disclosure at this time…”
What is so “confidential in nature” and “not appropriate for public disclosure” when it comes to the mental health history of a man who allegedly committed horrific murders of four innocent college kids? In Kohberger’s case, the only people allowed to see his mental health records, besides his own defense, are the prosecutors assigned to the case and they are prohibited from sharing any of that information with the public. And, ironically, while Kohberger’s mental health records remain confidential, under Idaho sentencing guidelines, Kohberger’s defense team can use his mental health as a factor.
So, to answer President Trump’s weird input into the sentencing of the admitted Idaho killer, because Kohberger’s mental health records have been hidden, there is no way to fully understand what transpired that awful night. But if his reported OCD was “treated” it’s possible to guess that the killer had been prescribed antidepressants and may be antipsychotics.
Based on information made available early in the investigation, ABC News reported that Kohberger suffered from “visual snow syndrome (VSS),” and as a teenager Kohberger posted on a forum extremely telling behavior issues that certainly were known and one would assume treated. The following are some of Kohberger’s alleged posts. They tell all.
In 2009 Kohberger allegedly writes, “I have had VS [visual snow] since september 21st of 2009. Since then I have changed, mainly from the anxiety and sense of derealization and hopelessness.”
In 2011 Kohberger allegedly writes “depression, no interest in activity, constant thoughts of suicide, crazy thoughts, delusions of grandeur, anxiety, poor self image, poor social skills, NO EMOTION.” The post concluded: “When I get home, I am mean to my family. This started when VS did. I felt no emotion and along with the depersonalization, I can say and do whatever I want with little remorse.”
Also, in 2011 Kohberger explains, “I have had this horrible Depersonalization go on in my life for almost 2 years. I often find myself making simple human interactions, but it is as if I am playing a role playing game. … As I hug my family, I look into their faces, I see nothing, it is like I am looking at a video game, but less. … I am blank, I have no opinion, I have no emotion, I have nothing.”
There is little doubt that Kohberger was suffering from and probably diagnosed with several mental disorders in his youth. And, when there is a psychiatric diagnosis, mind-altering drugs usually follow. So, the question that remains is what diagnoses were ascribed to Kohberger, and how many different psychiatric mind-altering drugs has Kohberger been prescribed in his life? Additionally, it is important to point out that VSS can actually be caused by antidepressant use.
The defense and prosecution know all this information. Too often, like in the case of the Tennessee mass murderer, Audrey Hale, and so many other killers, the history of psychiatric drug use and mental disorders is withheld from the public. Until this information is made part of all these trials, the public will never understand what is turning the nation’s kids into killers.
President Trump’s suggestion that “the Judge should make him explain what happened” is misguided. The President should be asking the Judge to unseal Kohberger’s mental health records and medication history. Of course, the same could be requested about the alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and his mental health records.

JUST IN: House Ethics Committee Finds AOC Impermissibly Accepted Met Gala Ticket for Boyfriend and Underpaid for “Tax The Rich” Dress and Accessories

The House Ethics Committee released a report on Friday, finding that far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) impermissibly accepted more than $3,700 worth of apparel and accessories and a $35,000 Met Gala ticket for her then-boyfriend, Riley Roberts.
“Despite Representative Ocasio-Cortez’s significant attempts, the Committee found that she failed to fully comply with the Gift Rule by impermissibly accepting a gift of free admission to the 2021 Met Gala for her partner and by failing to pay full fair market value for some of the items worn to the event,” the committee writes in the report that they unanimously voted to issue earlier this week following a years-long investigation.
It can be recalled that AOC made headlines back in 2021 when she sported a glitzy Brother Vellies dress adorned with the words “tax the rich.”
The dress was valued at nearly $3,000, but AOC only paid 10% of that. She further wore nearly $1,000 worth of jewelry and accessories, but paid less than $1000 for the whole get-up.
While Americans were suffering through the second half of Biden's first year in office, the self-described "Bronx girl" was partying it up with a free red carpet appearance and paying bottom dollar for her wardrobe.

"Representative Ocasio-Cortez ultimately paid for most of the goods and services received out of personal funds, although the payments were significantly delayed and some payments fell short of fair market value," the report states, noting that "most payments occurred after OCC initiated its review."
She even stiffed the vendors, and they had to threaten legal action to recover the cost.
"In fact, most payments were not made until after repeated attempts at collection from unpaid vendors, threatened legal action, or following the initiation of OCC’s review."
Regarding the $35,000 tickets she received, Congressmembers are allowed to accept an unsolicited offer of free attendance to charity events, but additional tickets are only permissible if intended for a spouse or dependent child.
However, the House Ethics Manual defines "spouse" as “someone to whom you are legally married,” and Mr. Roberts "did not fit the definition of a “spouse” for purposes of the Charitable Events Exception," the Committee writes. They further accuse Occasio-Cortez and her counsel of “choosing which law to apply" after AOC's counsel contemptuously highlighted her adherance to campaign finance laws, dismissing House rules and the Charitable Events Exception.
However, AOC will not face any consequences except for paying Brother Vellies back for the outfit and donating $250, the value of Riley Roberts's meal, to the Costume Institute, which hosts the Met Gala each year.
Yeah, she broke the law, but she's also a Democrat.
"Although their efforts at valuation fell short, and efforts to make appropriate payment were delayed, the Committee nonetheless recognizes that those efforts occurred, and that Representative Ocasio-Cortez sought to act consistently with her ethical requirements as a Member of the House. In light of this, the Committee determined that no sanction was merited, provided Representative Ocasio-Cortez: (1) donates the $250 value of Mr. Roberts’ Met Gala meal to the Costume Institute and (2) pays Brother Vellies an additional $2,733.28 for the fair market value of the goods that she received in connection with her 2021 Met Gala attendance," the report states.
