China’s False Crusade for a Multipolar World Is Really a Bid for Beijing’s Dominance

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) runs a global propaganda campaign portraying China as a benevolent power challenging U.S. hegemony and championing a fairer international order. Under the banner of building a “multipolar world,” Beijing claims it seeks a system that benefits all nations equally.
In reality, China’s vision of multipolarity is one in which it stands at the top. At the Munich Security Conference in February 2025, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi declared, “A multipolar world is not only a historical inevitability; it is also becoming a reality,” calling for “an equal and orderly multipolar world.” But this rhetoric of equality is sharply contradicted by China’s actions, which are consistently aggressive and self-serving.
Nowhere is this clearer than in the South China Sea. There, China’s version of multipolarity demands that the U.S. cease freedom of navigation operations and allow Beijing to seize maritime territory from the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and others, despite a 2016 ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration rejecting China’s expansive claims. Chinese Coast Guard vessels routinely harass Philippine ships, often using dangerous maneuvers and water cannons to assert control.
Part of China’s so-called multipolarity includes deciding what others are allowed to say. In July 2025, Beijing was accused of censorship after pressuring New Zealand’s DocEdge Festival to cancel the screening of a documentary about Philippine fishermen facing harassment by Chinese forces. Despite this campaign, the U.S. Pacific Fleet commander observed that “China has failed to intimidate rival claimant states into surrendering their sovereign interests in the disputed South China Sea, despite its intensifying bullying tactics.”
China also demands global respect for national sovereignty, while simultaneously threatening to take Taiwan by force. Beyond the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea, Beijing is embroiled in numerous other territorial disputes, including with India, where Chinese and Indian troops clashed in two recent skirmishes in the Himalayas.
China accuses the United States of bloc-building due to its participation in security alliances such as AUKUS, the Quad, the Five Eyes, and NATO. Yet at the same time, Beijing leads BRICS, a group with the stated goal of challenging U.S. trade dominance and displacing the dollar as the global reserve currency.
While BRICS members have disparate interests beyond opposing the U.S., China is the bloc’s dominant economic power, making it less a multipolar partnership and more a China-centric alliance. Beijing continues to push BRICS to settle trade in yuan as an alternative to the dollar.
Brazilian President Lula has expressed interest in creating a unified BRICS currency, but China has refused to give up the yuan. Since most other BRICS currencies are either too small, unstable, or non-convertible, the yuan is the only viable option. Some bilateral swap agreements have been used to bypass the dollar, but these are essentially prepaid arrangements, limited in scale, cumbersome, and tying up large amounts of capital for extended periods. As a result, BRICS members are left to trade in either dollars or yuan for most transactions.
Perhaps the most ambitious element of China’s “multipolar world” campaign is the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a global infrastructure project that, rather than liberating nations from dollar dependence, has created a string of debt-ridden countries and abandoned or substandard construction projects.
In 2025, developing countries will owe China $35 billion in repayments, with $22 billion coming from 75 of the world’s poorest nations. Roughly 80% of China’s government or government-backed loans go to countries in some stage of debt distress, and more than half of those loans are already in the repayment phase.
Chinese loan and aid agreements often “contain clauses that restrict restructuring” and “frequently retain the right to demand repayment at any time,” giving Beijing leverage to pressure recipient countries on sensitive political issues, especially Taiwan. Nations receiving Chinese funds are routinely forced to adopt the “One China” policy, which Beijing interprets as recognition that Taiwan is part of the People’s Republic of China.
The U.S. also maintains a One China policy, but with a crucial difference: Washington holds that the relationship between Beijing and Taipei must be resolved peacefully, and it commits to providing Taiwan with the means to defend itself against aggression. Ironically, the U.S. position is far more consistent with genuine multipolarity than China’s, as it respects Taiwan’s agency and regional stability.
In its 2025 white paper on national security, the Chinese government accused “some great powers” of “disregarding their international responsibilities” and “damaging global stability,” a thinly veiled reference to the United States. China simultaneously cast itself as a force for good, claiming to be “injecting certainty and stability into a turbulent world.”
But at the end of the day, Beijing views its own expansionist policies and debt-trap diplomacy as stabilizing, while U.S. efforts to preserve freedom of navigation and defend the sovereignty of Taiwan and other partners are framed as destabilizing. China’s multipolarity is not about equality, it’s about controlling the entire planet.

Sophie Cunningham, Caitlin Clark’s teammate and Enforcer in the WNBA, shares that opposing teams have had it out for the league’s “Golden Goose” since last year.
The WNBA is the worst league in sports history. Every week we hear of more insane moves by the league that has never made a profit.
Last year the WNBA was blessed with the graduation of the Iowa star who crushed NCAA scoring and assist records, but the league didn’t bring her in with open arms. The league instead welcomed Caitlin Clark with some of the worst abuse and attacks we have ever seen in sports history.
But no matter what they did, they couldn’t stop her. Here is Clark scoring 9 points in less than a minute in a game earlier this year.
Clark, is the greatest scorer and point producer (when adding points scored and points off of assists) in NCAA women’s basketball history. She crushed NCAA scoring records and she brought a fan base bigger than any woman’s basketball player in US history with her to the league. She was one of the top sports stars in the country in 2024.
But the league didn’t welcome her. The players in the league were jealous and tried to physically hurt her – a lot. Clark suffers greatly in games in numerous ways. The below example is how the players and the refs abuse Clark. In this series, Clark is poked in the eye by the opposing player after grabbing and pulling Clark all game long. Then the opposing player assaulted Clark and pushed her. Clark was like get away from me. Then another opponent punched Clark in the back while another opponent crashed Clark to the floor. None of Clark’s teammates stood up for her when this happened.
The result of this exchange was a foul on the girl who slammed Clark on the floor, and a foul on Clark!

After not missing a game during her college career, Clark has been out numerous games this year for injuries. The greatest shooter in the history of the game and for that, she is pummeled by opposing players, game, after game, after game.

Last year, the WNBA members on the Olympic Committee and the nasty coach of the WNBA’s Minnesota team (Cheryl Reeve), prevented Clark, the best player in the country from being on the Olympic team. It was the worst decision in Olympic history in decades. Clark could have brought so many more viewers to the game. But they kept her off the team.
After two years of getting hammered on the court, Clark was not able to play at the WNBA All-Star game. Clark has not played for most of this season due to injuries.

One random act in all this madness happened during the game when Clark was pounded on the floor by three opposing players noted above. At the end of the game, Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham stepped in and stood up for Clark.
Finally, a player stood up for Clark after the pounding she gets from other teams while the worst refs in sports look the other way.
Sophie Cunningham recently shared what we could all see. Other teams are going after Clark with a vengeance.
Cunningam revealed how her former team, the Phoenix Mercury, planned to play Clarkf during the phenom’s rookie season in 2024. Cunningham played her first five seasons in Phoenix before leaving to join the Fever this past offseason.
“You have seen players in our league try to, like, toughen up Caitlin… Even when I wasn’t on her team, I know the talks that Phoenix had in the locker room, like ‘no, we’re going to show her what the W really is,’ and I get it to a certain extent, and every rookie coming into the league, that’s how you’re going to treat em, but there’s just more for her,” Cunningham said on her podcast.
“And now being on her team and seeing it, I’m like ‘what are people doing,’ actually, it’s just too much, it’s too much. I’m over it, and if I think it’s too much, it’s probably too much.”
Cunningham was on the other side of the situation when she started a fight to defend Clark during a game against the Connecticut Sun earlier this season. Cunningham said that after the game, Clark exclaimed “finally!” in the locker room.
“In the locker room, she goes, I think she’s like, ‘Finally!’” Cunningham said. “But I think it kind of had our team together as a whole. Everyone was like, ‘we do have to protect eachother.’”
The WNBA players are physically attacking their “golden goose” Clark and the ref and the league don’t care. What a terrible league.

Primary Election with Razor-Thin Vote Margin Rocked by Fraud Allegation

Allegations of potential voter fraud in a New York City council race have cast a cloud over the election after major irregularities triggered an internal investigation.
The potential fraud occurred during “a tightly contested GOP primary last month between two south Brooklyn City Council hopefuls,” The New York Post originally reported earlier this month.
Records showed that Juliet Windvan and Antoinette Garzaniti voted in the District 47 GOP primary that saw Brooklyn Republican chairman Richie Barsamian face off against George Sarantopoulous.
The problem is that both voters died over 10 years ago, according to City Board of Elections documents exclusively obtained by The New York Post.
Additionally, a third voter named William Allen, 87, said despite not casting a ballot in the race, he received a “cure notice,” which voters get when their ballots contain an error or are missing a signature.
The New York Times also covered the story, pointing out that on Friday, the New York City Board of Elections asked prosecutors to investigate the situation.
This was after a second day of hand recounting, where there was a “late discovery of 22 paper ballots that officials said were not scanned by the voting machines on election night.”
Board of Elections staff discovered 22 suspicious ballots inside ballot bins at the agency’s Brooklyn facility, and they were ultimately invalidated after an internal investigation, Brooklyn Paper reported.
Sarantopoulos was declared the victor Tuesday over Barsamian, and is expected to face Democratic nominee Kayla Santosuosso in the November general election.
This is a stark reminder of how fragile our electoral system is, especially in smaller — or close — races. Every vote counts.
Margins can be razor thin, even in a presidential race.
We saw it in 2000 with George W. Bush barely beating former Vice President Al Gore. We saw it again with several swing states back in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
Election integrity and ballot security should remain one of the nation’s top priorities.
Even when it’s not carried out on a massive scale, fraud can shift a state race, flip a governor’s seat, affect a House or Senate election, and might even determine the leader of the free world.
It shouldn’t be painted as unreasonable by Democrats or shown to be a burden to minorities.
People use ID to travel, give it to the authorities when questioned, and use it to rent a car, sign a lease, pick up checks, and even buy alcohol.
So how can it be too much to ask for people to show identification to cast a ballot? Give me a break. America’s not buying it anymore.
The sooner we implement more voter ID laws across the nation, the less likely these stories are to pop up — and the more likely people are to accept the results — even when their candidate loses.
