Germany’s Globalist Regime Gestapo Raids AfD MEP Petr Bystron’s Home for 22nd Time While He’s in Washington DC

A campaign of terror and political intimidation—marked by strong‑arming and outright harassment—against Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) and one of its most prominent figures, MEP Petr Bystron, perhaps the AfD politician with the closest ties to the Trump administration, is escalating in lockstep with the party’s surging popularity.
Petr Bystron, a Member of the European Parliament and prominent AfD politician, was targeted in a police raid. Bystron’s home was searched on July 22, with Germany’s globalist regime using his interview with the now-defunct Ukrainian exile platform Voice of Europe as a pretext.
The police raid on Petr Bystron amounts to a brazen slap in the face and calculated provocation to senior U.S. figures such as Vice President JD Vance, who, in a high-profile address at the prestigious Munich Security Conference, urged Europeans—Germany especially—to uphold democratic norms and tear down the “firewalls” erected against opposition parties. Instead, German authorities seem to have embraced an openly hostile stance toward politicians fostering close ties with the Trump administration.
Bystron, widely regarded as the AfD’s most well-connected figure in Washington, has built substantial relationships within the Republican Party and positioned himself as the party’s key bridge to American policymakers.
This latest action against him signals that German authorities are willing to undermine their own national interests by targeting figures who pursue strategically beneficial alliances abroad.
Speaking to The Gateway Pundit’s editorial staff, Bystron said:
“The German authorities are spitting into the face of JD Vance. They are throwing up their middle finger to the whole Trump administration, saying: ‘We have been doing it 80 years ago to the Jews, 50 years ago to the anti-Communist dissidents, and now we do it to the conservative opposition.’”
The pretext for the raid was entirely rumor-based and driven by an organization funded by USAID, aligning it with foreign interests.
Allegations against Bystron have already prompted a jaw-dropping 21 previous searches, none of which have yielded incriminating evidence.
In addition to this most recent raid, authorities have already carried out 21 prior searches — including invasive inspections of my privately rented long-term flat, by US and Israeli citizens, as well as my elderly mother’s room in her retirement home. German authorities even proceeded to take Bystron’s mother’s testimony, despite her having been officially declared by the court as a dementia patient.
Investigators have gotten so desperate to find something that they have even targeted remnants of Bystron’s former business ventures, such as an old shoe warehouse.
The raid conveniently occurred while Bystron was in Washington, D.C., meeting with senior Republican representatives in the U.S. Senate and Congress.
“This is targeted terror against the opposition. There’s no other way to interpret the authorities’ absurd actions. As an opposition politician, I am apparently expected to abandon my resistance against deeply entrenched systemic corruption,” Bystron stated.
He further explained, “Every single one of these 22 searches was illegal. Each one marks a step away from a democratic constitutional state and toward an authoritarian regime that seeks to silence dissent by any means necessary.”
These actions against Bystron make it unmistakably clear that the rule of law in Germany is rapidly eroding. Lacking answers to the mounting concerns of ordinary working- and middle-class Germans, the ruling coalition has instead resorted to any means necessary to attack the opposition—the very force offering the solutions and accountability citizens increasingly demand.
German authorities have also signaled they will act against their nation’s interests by undermining politicians who seek favorable relations with Donald Trump’s administration.
Bystron was targeted on the very day Germany’s highest administrative court—widely regarded as leaning left-liberal and hostile to anti-establishment parties such as the AfD and Sahra Wagenknecht’s BSW—upheld the designation of the AfD as a “suspected extremist group.”
This ruling allows the party to be monitored by Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, the Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), which is also known for its worryingly high degree of politicization.
For example, to illustrate the degree to which this agency—which in theory and by constitutional standard is supposed to be neutral—is politicized to its very core, we can look to recent statements made by the former intel agency’s leader in the state of Thuringia.
In 2023, Thuringia’s state intelligence chief, Stephan Kramer, sparked outrage by describing AfD supporters—now representing roughly a quarter of Germany’s population—as the “brown dregs” of society. In an interview with public broadcaster NDR, Kramer likened AfD voters to Hitler’s Brownshirts, asserting that “about 20% of Germany consists of brown dregs,” citing polling at the time that placed AfD support between 19% and 20%.
The BfV can now resume surveillance on the AfD, including tapping phones and using informants.
