DC Superior Court Judge Kendra Briggs, a Biden appointee, released two of the ‘teens’ who attacked former DOGE member Edward Coristine, AKA “Big Balls.”

Earlier this month, 19-year-old Edward Coristine was severely beaten in DC after he jumped into action to save his significant other’s life.

Trump posted a photo of Coristine after he was beaten bloody by the mob of teens. The President has since federalized DC to crack down on crime.

A police report revealed more details about Edward Coristine’s heroic actions defending his girlfriend from a pack of 10 teens during an attempted carjacking early Sunday morning.

According to the police report, Coristine pushed his girlfriend into the car and shut the door to shield her from the approaching mob. The 19-year-old was assaulted by 10 juvenile thugs after he shielded his girlfriend.

The two unidentified 15-year-olds who were arrested in connection with the attempted carjacking were ordered released by the Biden judge.

Judge Briggs released one teen to a youth shelter and the other to his mother.

“The fact that this court is stepping you down from Youth Services Center is a serious step,” Judge Briggs told the teens during a hearing in DC Superior Court, according to The Washington Post.

Two teens charged in the attempted carjacking of a former U.S. DOGE Service staffer earlier this month will be moved into less restrictive detention on orders from a D.C. judge, despite a prosecutor’s objection.

The hearing took place as President Donald Trump’s D.C. police takeover stretches into its second week — an extraordinary flex of federal power ignited in part by the Aug. 3 attack on Edward Coristine, a software engineer who began work in the federal government as a protégé of Elon Musk.

Police arrested the 15-year-old boy and girl from Maryland after the attempted carjacking in Northwest Washington. The teens were being held at the Youth Services Center, or YSC, a facility in D.C. that holds young offenders before and after their court hearings as they wait to be placed in rehabilitation centers.

The teens appeared Thursday in front of Judge Kendra D. Briggs in a hearing in D.C. Superior Court that shed little light on the alleged crime or those accused of committing it.

The girl will move to a youth shelter house, the boy to his mother’s home. Both will be subjected to, among other restrictions, electronic monitoring and a 24-hour curfew — “school and home, that’s it,” Briggs said.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) lashed out at Texas Republicans for passing a new Congressional map that gives the GOP five more US House seats.

Last week, the Texas House failed to achieve quorum for the sixth time since early August, stalling the GOP’s redistricting plan. Only 95 lawmakers showed up for the 10 a.m. session, once again falling short of the 100 needed to reach a quorum.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Texas Governor Greg Abbott threatened the derelict Democrats with arrest and removal from office if they didn’t return to the Capitol.

After two weeks on the run, Texas Democrats finally returned to the Capitol this week.

On Wednesday, the Texas House of Representatives approved a redistricting plan that hands five additional U.S. House seats to Republicans, cementing the GOP’s dominance in the state delegation from 25 to a potential 30 out of 38 seats.

The Texas House of Representatives passed the congressional redistricting bill by an 88–52 partisan vote.

Newsom went off on Texas Republicans during an appearance on The Siren podcast on Wednesday and threatened to punch back with his own redistricting map.

“This is radical rigging of a midterm election,” Newsom told The Siren podcast on Wednesday. “Radical rigging of an election. Destroying, vandalizing this democracy, the rule of law. So, I’m sorry. I know some people’s sensibilities. I respect and appreciate that. But right now, with all due respect, we’re walking down a damn different path. We’re fighting fire with fire. And we’re gonna punch these sons of bitches in the mouth.”

Iris Tao, a 26-year-old White House reporter for Epoch Times sister outlet NTD revealed in a story on Wednesday that she, like many others, was a victim of a horrific, violent robbery in Washington, DC.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump declared a “public safety emergency,” citing high crime and unsafe streets in the nation’s capital, and federalized the DC police force last week. He further authorized the use of National Guard troops and deployed federal agents across the city to tackle the rampant crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration crises.

The then-24-year-old Iris Tao said the Trump Administration’s federal takeover and crackdown on crime in DC reminded her of the traumatizing morning in 2022, when she was violently mugged outside of her apartment at 8:30 in the morning. She was beaten and robbed by a masked man that morning.

But if you ask leftists and local Democratic leaders, they’ll say everything is ok now because violent crime in 2024 hit a 30-year low. However, as The Gateway Pundit reported, this data appears to have been falsified and manipulated at the direction of Metropolitan Police commander Michael Pulliam, an allegation which is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice. It has been alleged that many crimes go unreported, and serious felony reports have often been downgraded to make it appear that violent crimes and felonies are less frequent.

Iris says the numbers, whether real or fake, don’t matter because “lived experience tells a different story,” pointing to the thousands victimized by violent crime last year and the more than 100 DC homicides to date in 2025. “These are not just numbers. Each one is a person. A life cut short. A family changed forever,” Iris writes.

Because of this, Iris, expecting her first child to be born this year, does not plan to stay in Washington, DC, much longer— at least not until “both the numbers and the stories prove that the city has truly changed.”

Like most parents, she wants to give her child a hometown where “he can walk freely, play safely, and live without fear.”

“And I hope—someday—we can live that vision here in our nation’s capital: a clean, beautiful, and truly shining city on a hill once again,” she says.

A disturbing case out of Alachua County, Florida, has exposed just how toxic the education system has become for conservative families.

A high school history teacher at Gainesville High School nominated her own student for “Most Likely to Become a Dictator,” all because he dared to hold conservative views and was interested in ROTC and World War II history, Florida’s Voice first reported.

The incident came to light after parent Dr. Crystal Marull testified at a State Board of Education meeting that her 16-year-old son was repeatedly targeted by his history teacher because of his conservative views and interest in ROTC.

According to Marull, the teacher allowed classmates to brand her son a “Naziphile” for his interest in World War II history. Later, she orchestrated a mock award, forcing students to vote him “Most Likely to Become a Dictator.”

Marull: “My son, six years old, was prohibited from sitting next to his friend on the school bus because a parent objected to my perspectives on book challenges. My older son’s history teacher allowed students to label him a Naziphile simply for his interest in history and participation in ROTC.

She later nominated my son as the most likely to become a dictator and had his classmates vote on it and try to force him to the front of the class to receive the certificate, which he rightly refused, all because of his conservative values and our perspectives.”

The teacher herself admitted the superlative was handed out, emailing Marull in May 2023 with a half-hearted apology, according to the email obtained by Florida’s Voice.

“Good Afternoon Mrs. Marull, 

I do apologize that (name redacted) was offended by the Class Superlative. Class Superlatives are an activity I have been doing with all my classes for the last four years. I give students the option to change or add superlatives to the list from previous years and then the class nominates students and votes on the winner. I was not aware that (name redacted) was upset that he was nominated for that superlative a few weeks ago. To my knowledge, he did not ask to be removed when he was nominated or when the class voted.

When I passed them out today, I reiterated that they were just for fun. These were not meant to be offensive. I do apologize.”

Marull fired back:

“Earlier in the year you allowed the class to refer to him as a Hitlerphile and now you are letting them label him a dictator. Not only that but you orchestrated it, signed off on it, and promoted it. It’s truly reprehensible.”

Marull revealed that she had reported the incident to the district in May 2023, and school officials did nothing.

Alachua County Schools confirmed the teacher has been placed on administrative leave after the August 20 State Board of Education meeting, but refused to release further information, citing confidentiality laws.

Now, it is being reported that the teacher has been suspended and now faces possible termination.

The Florida teacher who nominated a student for a “Most Likely to Become A Dictator” superlative has been suspended amid an investigation into the incident, with the Department of Education finding probable cause to pursue sanctions against her educator certificate.

On Thursday afternoon, the Department of Education confirmed to Florida’s Voice that Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas sent a letter to the teacher, explaining the possible statute violations and penalties. She will now appear before the Education Practices Commission who will impose a possible sanction, the department confirmed.

On Thursday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has called for the potential firing and revocation of the teaching certificate of a Gainesville High School teacher who awarded a conservative student the superlative “Most Likely to Become a Dictator.”

If these facts bear out, then this teacher should be immediately terminated and never allowed to teach again in Florida.

Newly declassified memos reveal federal prosecutors secured evidence from FBI brass indicating that former FBI Director James authorized classified leaks shortly before the 2016 election, but they declined to bring charges.

According to the memos obtained by Just The News, an investigation by the US Postal Inspection Service Agents revealed former FBI General Counsel James Baker and Comey’s Chief of Staff James Rybicki were involved in leaking the classified information to The New York Times in October 2016.

The specific classified information was not identified.

“The USPIS Investigation also revealed Baker disclosed USG classified information to the NYT under the belief he was ultimately instructed and authorized to do so by then FBI Director James Comey,” one summary memo reads, according to Just The News. “For example, during interviews, Baker indicated FBI Chief of Staff James Rybicki instructed him (Baker) to disclose the information to the NYT, and Baker understood Rybicki was conveying this instruction and authorization from Comey.”

Federal prosecutors gathered evidence from James Comey’s top lieutenants that he authorized the leak of classified information to reporters just before the 2016 election but declined to bring criminal charges, according to recently declassified memos that call into question the former FBI director’s testimony to Congress.

The bombshell revelations involving ex-FBI general counsel James Baker and ex-Comey chief of staff James Rybicki were memorialized in documents that FBI Director Kash Patel discovered earlier this year, but the passages were originally redacted by the Justice Department in versions sent to Congress earlier this month.

Attorney General Pam Bondi intervened and eliminated the redactions, dispatching new versions of the memos this week to the House and Senate Judiciary committees, officials told Just the News.

The memos detail evidence and interviews gathered by U.S. Postal Inspection Service agents concerning classified information leaked to The New York Times in October 2016, ahead of the November election in which Republican Donald Trump defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.

This is not the first time it was revealed James Comey authorized the leaks of classified information.

Newly declassified memos reveal James Comey’s secret media mole Daniel Richman leaked classified information to The New York Times’s Michael Schmidt to help push for a special counsel in May 2017.

It was previously reported that James Comey penned nine memos stemming from his conversations with President Trump – and then leaked them through his Columbia University law professor ‘friend’ Daniel Richman.

The leaks ultimately worked. On May 17, 2017, then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller to serve as Special Counsel to investigate the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
