Vast majority of French citizens agree with Bardella.

As we reported earlier, French Prime Minister François Bayrou has called a ‘confidence vote’ on the Parliament after becoming unable to approve his budget bill with his minortity government.

Bayrou is widely expected to lose this vote, and the ‘day after’ for the French Republic is still uncertain.

President of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella criticized what he called an ‘institutional blockage’.

BFMTV reported:

“The president of the National Rally Jordan Bardella called on Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, August 26 on TF1 to ‘return to the ballot box (…) either by dissolution or by resignation’, deploring an ‘institutional blockage’.

François Bayrou announced on Monday that he will seek a vote of confidence by the National Assembly on September 8. The National Rally had then indicated that far-right elected officials would not trust the Prime Minister. The leader of the RN deputies, Marine Le Pen, even considered that ‘only dissolution will now allow the French to choose their destiny’.”

The opposition parties, who hold the majority of seats in Parliament, have all stated that they will bring down the minority government in the September 8 vote.

In the meantime, two-thirds of citizens surveyed also wanted President Emmanuel Macron to resign.

Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella’s rightwing National Rally (RN) has the most backing to lead the next government.

On a different BFMTV report (translated from the French):

“The day after François Bayrou’s press conference, more than 7 out of 10 French people do not want the Prime Minister to obtain the vote of confidence that he proposed to the opposition the day before, as revealed by an Elabe poll conducted for BFMTV.

72% of those polled do not want François Bayrou’s government to obtain a majority of support in the National Assembly. In detail, 45% of the French are “not at all” in favour of the vote of confidence and 27% are “not really”.”

“On the other hand, 21% of those polled “somewhat agree” that François Bayrou should obtain this vote, and 6% are “completely”. 1% of those questioned did not give any answers.

[…] Of those surveyed, 76% of those surveyed think that the draft budget for 2026 proposed by François Bayrou is not effective in reducing public debt, and 82% of those surveyed think that efforts are not fairly distributed according to each person’s abilities.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded on Thursday to comments by Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, mocking prayer in the aftermath of the church shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday. 

A transgender psychopath opened fire on the Annunciation Catholic School’s church as K-8 students attended their first worship service of the school year. The individual murdered two children and injured 17, including 14 kids and three adults in their 80s. His manifesto revealed hate toward Christians, and the FBI is now investigating the incident as domestic terrorism and a hate crime against Catholics.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Psaki lost it on social media following the shooting and dismissed concerned Americans’ prayers and concerns for the families that were impacted.

“Prayer is not freaking enough. Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers,” she said.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was more unhinged, stammering, "Don't just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying."

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded on Thursday, calling the comments "insensitive" and "utterly disrespectful" and calling on Psaki to pray for the families.

She further confirmed that the shooter's gender confusion and mental illness will be investigated by the FBI.

And it's disrespectful to the millions of Americans of faith. And I would encourage Miss Psaki to pray for these families themselves, who need it right now more than ever.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is breaking through the media silence on an uncomfortable truth: America may be fueling its own violence epidemic through psychiatric drugs pushed by Big Pharma.

RFK Jr. declared that for the first time, the federal government is conducting real studies to determine whether America’s sky-high dependence on psychiatric medications is tied directly to the surge in random, senseless shootings that have horrified communities coast to coast.

“I certainly consider mass shootings a health crisis. For the first time, we are doing real studies to find out what the ideology behind them is. We’re also looking, for the first time, at psychiatric drugs,” RFK Jr. said during a news conference in Texas on Thursday.

Kennedy pointed out that guns have been part of American life for centuries, but the phenomenon of mass random shootings is entirely modern.

He argues that America’s epidemic of violence may be fueled not by the Second Amendment, but by decades of reckless over-prescription of psychiatric drugs that carry deadly risks.

RFK Jr. stressed that psychiatric medications often carry black box warnings — the FDA’s strongest label — explicitly warning that they can cause “suicidal and homicidal ideation.”

Yet for years, any attempt to discuss the link between prescription drugs and mass shootings has been ridiculed or dismissed by the political class and the mainstream media.

RFK Jr.:
I certainly consider mass shootings a health crisis. For the first time, we are doing real studies to find out what the ideology behind them is. We’re also looking, for the first time, at psychiatric drugs.

People have had guns in this country forever. When I was a kid, we had shooting clubs at our school. Kids—my classmates and others—would bring a .22 rifle, leave it in their cars, and park it in the lot. Nobody was shooting.

There has never been a time in America, or in the history of humanity, when people just walked into a crowd, a church, a movie theater, or a school, and started randomly shooting.

It’s happening in our country. It’s not happening around the world. Many other countries have comparable levels of guns to what we have. We had comparable levels in the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s—and people weren’t doing that. Something changed. It dramatically changed human behavior.

One of the culprits we need to examine is the fact that we are the most over-medicated nation in the world. A lot of those medications are psychiatric drugs that have black-box warnings—warnings of suicidal and homicidal ideation.

So we are doing those studies right now, for the first time, and we will have an answer.

While appearing on Fox & Friends Thursday morning, Kennedy was also pressed on whether he would investigate the medications taken by the shooter, who authorities confirmed identified as transgender.

“We’re launching studies on the potential contribution of some of the SSRI [selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor] drugs and some of the other psychiatric drugs that might be contributing to violence.”

The Trump White House chose top deputy to RFK Jr., Jim O’Neill, to serve as acting CDC Director after Dr. Susan Monarez was ousted from the position on Wednesday, according to The Washington Post.

On Wednesday CDC Director Susan Monarez was fired less than a month on the job.

According to The Washington Post, Monarez departed the CDC over RFK Jr.’s push to change vaccine policy.

However, instead of cleaning out her desk, Dr. Monarez remained defiant and said she would not resign in a statement through her lawyers.

“When CDC Director Susan Monarez refused to rubber-stamp unscientific, reckless directives and fire dedicated health experts, she chose protecting the public over serving a political agenda. For that, she has been targeted,” the attorneys wrote, according to AP.

“This is not about one official. It is about the systematic dismantling of public health institutions, the silencing of experts, and the dangerous politicization of science. The attack on Dr. Monarez is a warning to every American: our evidence-based systems are being undermined from within,” they said.

Following the departure of Dr. Monarez, three senior CDC officials resigned per The Hill and PBS: Demetre Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases; Daniel Jernigan, director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, and CDC Chief Medical Officer Deb Houry.

Daskalakis, a radical leftist who rose to prominence during the monkeypox outbreak wrote in an email obtained by The Hill: “I am not able to serve in this role any longer because of the ongoing weaponizing of public health.”
