US Attorney Jeanine Pirro was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to talk about President Trump and his efforts to rid Washington DC of crime.

“How do you respond to critics who say this is way too heavy handed?” Bream asked.

“President Trump has literally changed the safety landscape in Washington DC,” Pirro said.

“Who is the person who says, you know, crime is low enough for us to handle. Who decides what is acceptable? If we go from intolerable to unacceptable, does that mean we should pat ourselves on the back and say let’s just leave town?” Pirro continued.

“Washington was one of the most violent cities not just in the United States, but in the world,” Pirro declared.

“We’ve got individuals who are being shot, stabbed, beaten and brutalized and arrests are not being made,” Pirro said.

“What we need is to recognize that the first order of government is the protection of its people and President Trump is willing to make sure that DC has the resources,” Pirro continued.

US Attorney Pirro also commented on the leniency that DC laws are for minors who commit crimes with firearms.

“If you are 15, 16 or 17 years old and you shoot someone, but they don’t die, I can’t prosecute you? You go to family court where you end up being you know, the purpose is rehabilitation, and what we’ve got carjackings it’s like up, I don’t know 200 percent in a short period of time. And then these young kids, they are punks, they end up torching the cars afterwards and I can’t prosecute them, I can’t arrest them,” Pirro explained.

“We are working with the police to put together these cases to make sure that when they go to court, they get a conviction and that there is a sentence that is consistent with the acts that are occurring,” Pirro said.

“If President Trump didn’t do this, Washington would continue to be one of the most violent cities in the world and anyone who is against it is about politics and not about safety for our fellow citizens,” Pirro continued.

California Governor Gavin Newsom and former President Obama were critical of President Trump’s policies of using the military for protecting cities.

“What about those concerns?” Bream asked.

“You know, they are both laughable. President Obama to come out and make a comment on Chicago, a city that is his city, that has been one of the most violent cities in America that has shootings and killings frequently since I can remember. Every weekend there are shootings in Chicago. What are they doing about it?” Pirro said.

First Population-Wide Peer-Reviewed Study Finds COVID-19 “Vaccines” Increase Risk of Multiple Cancers — CONFIRMS Fears of “Turbo Cancer” Epidemic
August 31, 2025

A bombshell peer-reviewed study out of Italy has just shattered the narrative peddled by Big Pharma, corporate media, and government health bureaucrats.

For the first time, a population-wide cohort of nearly 300,000 people tracked over 30 months has revealed that the so-called “safe and effective” COVID-19 shots are linked to alarming spikes in multiple forms of cancer.

Researchers followed every resident aged 11 and older in Italy’s Pescara province from June 2021 through December 2023, examining hospital records and adjusting for age, sex, prior health conditions, and even prior COVID infection.

The researchers allegedly found that those who received at least one vaccine dose had a much lower risk of dying from any cause compared to the unvaccinated, and this protective effect was even stronger in people who had three or more doses.

When looking at cancer, the picture was less clear. People who had been vaccinated appeared somewhat more likely to be hospitalized with a new cancer diagnosis than those who were unvaccinated, particularly for cancers of the breast, bladder, and colon.

However, this increased risk was only evident in people who had never been infected with COVID-19, and it disappeared—or even reversed—when the analysis required at least twelve months to pass between vaccination and a hospital admission for cancer.

  • Hospitalizations for cancer were 35% higher in vaccinated individuals versus the unvaccinated (HR 1.23).
  • The link was strongest in men and in those with no prior COVID infection.
  • Overall Cancer Risk: +23% after just one dose
  • Breast Cancer: +54% risk after vaccination
  • Bladder Cancer: +62% increased risk
  • Colorectal Cancer: +35% increased risk

Even after multiple doses, the risks remained elevated across the board.

The authors noted that vaccinated individuals are usually healthier, wealthier, and more likely to get preventative care, a phenomenon called the “healthy vaccinee bias.”

If anything, the numbers should have shown lower cancer rates. Instead, cancers surged. That means the real danger could be far worse than what the data shows.

Doctors and whistleblowers have been warning for years about sudden, aggressive cancers appearing in otherwise healthy people after the jab.

This study, alongside more than 100 other peer-reviewed papers, confirms the link between mRNA injections and deadly cancer pathways. A new medical term has even been coined: COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced “Turbo Cancer.”

More from Focal Points:

THE FIRST FORMAL SIGNAL: INCREASED CANCER RISK

Despite strong “healthy vaccinee bias” (explained below), the study still found multiple increases in cancer hospitalizations among vaccinated individuals.

Overall cancer risk:
  • +23% increased risk after ≥1 dose (HR 1.23, 95% CI 1.11–1.37) (statistically significant)
  • +9% increased risk after ≥3 doses (HR 1.09, 95% CI 1.02–1.16) (statistically significant)
BY CANCER SITE (Hazard Ratios Converted to % Increased Risk)

Breast cancer

  • +54% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.54, 95% CI 1.10–2.16) (statistically significant)
  • +36% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.36, 95% CI 1.08–1.72) (statistically significant)

Bladder cancer

  • +62% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.62, 95% CI 1.07–2.45) (statistically significant)
  • +43% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.43, 95% CI 1.08–1.88) (statistically significant)

Colon-rectum cancer

  • +35% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.35, 95% CI 1.01–1.80) (statistically significant)
  • +14% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.14, 95% CI 0.96–1.36) (not statistically significant)

Hematological cancers (leukemia/lymphoma)

  • +31% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.31, 95% CI 0.96–1.79) (not statistically significant)
  • +7% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.07, 95% CI 0.89–1.29) (not statistically significant)

Uterine cancer

  • +77% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.77, 95% CI 0.76–4.13) (not statistically significant)
  • +20% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.20, 95% CI 0.73–1.96) (not statistically significant)

Ovarian cancer

  • +71% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.71, 95% CI 0.60–4.82) (not statistically significant)
  • +86% with ≥3 doses (HR 1.86, 95% CI 0.68–5.12) (not statistically significant)

Thyroid cancer

  • +58% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.58, 95% CI 0.84–2.99) (not statistically significant)
  • -3% with ≥3 doses (HR 0.97, 95% CI 0.67–1.45) (not statistically significant)

Prostate cancer

  • +1% with ≥1 dose (HR 1.01, 95% CI 0.68–1.49) (not statistically significant)
  • -3% with ≥3 doses (HR 0.97, 95% CI 0.76–1.23) (not statistically significant)

Lung cancer

  • -10% with ≥1 dose (HR 0.90, 95% CI 0.68–1.18) (not statistically significant)
  • -7% with ≥3 doses (HR 0.93, 95% CI 0.79–1.11) (not statistically significant)

WHAT THIS MEANS

  • The strongest, statistically significant increases were found for breast, bladder, colorectal, and overall cancer risk.
  • Nearly all other cancer sites also showed an upward trend, though not statistically significant due to wide confidence intervals.
  • Only lung and prostate cancers showed no evidence of increased risk.

This pattern suggests a real signal that is partially obscured by confounders and limited follow-up time.

Retired CBS News White House Reporter Mark Knoller Passed Away; Keeper of Presidential Statistics Who Covered Up Cindy Sheehan’s Terrorist Sympathies During Iraq War Protest
August 31, 2025

Retired CBS News Radio White House reporter Mark Knoller has passed away at age 73 in Washington, D.C., CBS News announced on Saturday. Knoller, who retired in 2020, was well-regarded by his fellow correspondents for his generosity and sense of humor, as well as being the unofficial keeper of presidential statistics for the media who could tell you how many days a president took off for vacations or how many trips on Marine One they took. Knoller covered the White House from President George H.W. Bush through President Donald Trump’s first term.

Knoller’s reporting was not without controversy. In August 2005 he was the first national reporter to interview Cindy Sheehan in Crawford, Texas when the Gold Star mother of Iraq KIA Army Spc. Casey Sheehan arrived by bus with pro-terrorist communist radicals to protest President George W. Bush over the Iraq war while he spent the month on a working vacation at his Crawford ranch.

Knoller and the other reporters there chose not to report that Sheehan called the Islamist terrorists flooding into Iraq from overseas to kill American soldiers and Iraqis, “freedom fighters.”

Knoller’s failure to report Sheehan’s sympathy for Islamist terrorists helped the media paint her as a grieving ‘everymom’ protesting the war rather than as the radical activist she was.

This writer first reported Knoller’s cover-up of Sheehan’s radicalism in 2005 at FreeRepublic.com (excerpt):

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq whose August antiwar vigil in Crawford, Texas has captured the nation’s attention as she camped out on the side of a road leading to President Bush’s ranch demanding a meeting with him, called the foreign terrorists in Iraq (AKA al Qaeda in Iraq) ‘freedom fighters’ during her first meeting with reporters when she arrived in Crawford, August 6–remarks that when unreported until now.

Mrs. Sheehan also expressed sympathy for Iraqis who have used car bombs and suicide bombings to fight the American-led coalition forces in Iraq.

Video of her incendiary remarks were found on a link from the website of Veterans for Peace, one of the groups that accompanied Mrs. Sheehan to Crawford.

Surrounded by reporters with notepads, tape recorders and video cameras, Mrs. Sheehan spoke freely in response to a question by CBS News’ Mark Knoller.

Mr. Knoller asked, “You know that the president says Iraq is the central front in the war on terrorism, don’t you believe that?”

Mrs. Sheehan replied, “No, because it’s not true. You know Iraq was no threat to the United States of America until we invaded. I mean they’re not even a threat to the United States of America. Iraq was not involved in 9/11, Iraq was not a terrorist state. But now that we have decimated the country the borders are open, freedom fighters from other countries are going in and they (America) have created more terrorism by going to an Islamic country, devastating the country and killing innocent people in that country. The terrorism is growing and people who never thought of being car bombers or suicide bombers are now doing it because they want the United States of America out of their country.”

The video was shot by an unknown person who accompanied Mrs. Sheehan on her bus ride from the Veterans for Peace convention, held in in Dallas, to Crawford.

When asked by columnist John Leo about his not reporting on Sheehan’s extremist statements, Knoller replied he “really wasn’t interested.”

Excerpt from the CBS News report on Knoller’s passing:

Longtime CBS News correspondent Mark Knoller has died at the age of 73.

He died in Washington, D.C., according to a close friend. The cause of death was not disclosed, but he suffered from diabetes and had been in ill health.

Knoller was, to put it simply, a legend. For decades, everyone in the White House press corps knew him as the unofficial presidential historian and statistician.

His frustration over the lack of a central database of daily presidential actions inspired him to take upon himself the enormous burden of keeping meticulous records of every presidential act, movement, and utterance, single-handedly filling an immense void in American history.

As he once put it: “I keep a daily log of everything the president does. I keep a list of speeches. I keep a list of travel – foreign travel, domestic travel. A list of outings. A list of golf. A list of pardons, vetoes, states that he’s visited, states that he hasn’t visited. Every time he goes on vacation, every visit to Camp David.”

…And what did Knoller do with this hard-earned gold mine of statistics and numbers? In the extremely competitive world of journalism, you might think he would hoard it for his own use. But no. This remarkably generous man shared it with anyone who asked – reporters on deadline, historians, even White House aides filling gaps in their own administration’s records. He believed the public had a right to know.

Tribute to Knoller on Face the Nation:

Knoller speaking in 2009 about condensing reporting down to 140 characters in the early years of Twitter, now known as X.

Knoller’s last tweet, posted August 11, was a joking comment on President Trump’s policing takeover in Washington, D.C., “What city gets the Trump treatment next? Mayberry?”

Last March, as the controversy of the Biden administration’s use of an auto=pen heated up, Knoller flashed back to his reporting on President Obama’s use of of an auto-pen to sign bills, “In 2015, when I questioned Obama’s use of the Autopen to sign legislation into law, his WH cited DOJ Office of Legal Counsel asserting that “the President need not personally perform the physical act of affixing his signature to a bill he approves and decides to sign.””

Another Democrat Official Caught in Federal Corruption Case

Federal prosecutors in Detroit unveiled new charges on Thursday that expose yet another case of corruption within the Wayne County government.

Jontae Jackson, a 45-year-old former taxpayer assistant in the county treasurer’s office, was charged with bribery, conspiracy, and aggravated identity theft.

According to court documents, Jackson pocketed nearly $18,000 in bribes in exchange for illegally removing properties from the county’s tax foreclosure list.

Prosecutors allege that Jackson worked with Zina Thomas, 61, a former director at the United Community Housing Coalition, a nonprofit organization aimed at protecting struggling Detroit homeowners.

WATCH: TEXAS Democrat INDICTED — STOLE Thousands from TAXPAYERS with SIBLINGS

Instead, Thomas conspired to steal more than 30 properties from low-income residents, using forged quitclaim deeds, fake driver’s licenses, and fraudulent residency documents.

Jackson would process the documents, remove the properties from foreclosure, and Thomas would flip the homes without the consent of the rightful owners.

The scheme lasted from March to September 2023, and prosecutors say it preyed on Detroiters who were already at risk of losing their homes.

At least $17,950 in bribe payments were funneled to Jackson. Both she and Thomas are expected to plead guilty, with potential prison sentences of up to ten years.

This scandal is not an isolated incident. It comes on the heels of a wave of public corruption cases in Michigan.

Just this month, former Inkster Mayor Patrick Wimberly was sentenced in a bribery scheme involving a strip club shakedown.

Earlier in August, Saif Alsenad, the former government and public affairs director of Wayne County, was charged with lying to the FBI during a bribery investigation.

These cases paint a bleak picture of Michigan politics, where local government officials repeatedly betray the trust of the very citizens they are sworn to serve.

Unfortunately, Michigan is far from alone. Across the country, similar cases of corruption and abuse of power are surfacing.

In Texas, nine Democrat officials pleaded not guilty last month in one of the most significant ballot-harvesting cases in the state’s history.

The indictments followed a two-year investigation led by Attorney General Ken Paxton, which uncovered an organized scheme to manipulate mail-in ballots across several counties in South Texas.

Texas law makes the practice of compensated ballot collection a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000

Prosecutors allege that the group not only harvested ballots unlawfully but also used electronic payment platforms, such as Cash App, to buy votes.

Court filings describe a deliberate effort to manipulate elections in multiple races by preying on the most vulnerable voters.

For years, Democrats have insisted that voter fraud is virtually nonexistent. Yet this single investigation in Texas has already produced 15 felony indictments—hard evidence that fraud does exist, and it undermines public trust in the election process.

Together, these cases send a clear message: corruption and election fraud are not isolated incidents but part of a systemic problem.

When public officials can be bribed to erase tax records or when political operatives can manipulate ballots, the foundations of democracy erode.

Both Michigan and Texas are now test cases for whether justice will prevail. If prosecutors succeed, Jackson, Thomas, and the Texas ballot harvesters will face prison time.

However, if the political establishment downplays or dismisses these crimes, ordinary Americans will only become increasingly distrustful of their institutions.

The American people deserve a government that works for them, not against them.

Until corruption and fraud are punished consistently—regardless of party affiliation—citizens will remain justified in doubting the system’s fairness.
