Back in May 2016- almost a decade ago- I was a guest on the popular liberal HBO show, “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
I made two bold predictions on Bill Maher’s show that day…
I predicted that Donald J. Trump would beat Hillary Clinton. After the show, I was honored when future President Trump called to say he watched the whole show and thanked me for my support.
But it’s my other bold prediction that day that really matters.
In Bill Maher’s “Overtime” segment, the topic turned to transgenders. I told Bill and his liberal audience this was “a bridge too far for the American people.” I explained average everyday Americans would NEVER accept transgenders, or transgender brainwashing in school. I predicted extreme, radical, wacko views like this would destroy the Democrat Party.
I warned Democrats were committing suicide.
And for what? For a bizarre group of weirdos that turns off normal people…and that represents ½ of ½ of 1% of Americans. Why would any political party kill themselves over a tiny group like that?
Bill’s audience booed loudly. But to his credit Bill looked at the audience and responded, “Don’t boo. Wayne may be right.”
Today, the chickens have come home to roost.
The Democrat Party is destroyed, in disarray, bankrupt, and amazingly, in response- getting even more extreme, more radical, and stranger with every passing day.
The Democrat brand is so destroyed, I predict the Democrat Party will soon be forced to rebrand- ie change their name.
Babylon Bee (the conservative parody site) got it right a few days ago. They said mass murderer Jeffrey Dahmer, Israeli pagers, and Jehovah’s Witnesses on your front porch are all more popular than the Democrat brand.
CNN’s data analyst Harry Enten reports the Democrat brand is “in the basement” and “total and complete garbage” in the minds of the American voters.
And then there’s the actual factual numbers. In the 30 states that report partisan registration, Democrats are now losing to the GOP in all 30 states.
Even more devastating, between the 2020 and 2024 elections, Democrats lost 2.1 million registered voters, while Republicans gained 2.4 million. That’s a swing of 4.5 million voters towards the GOP.
How about young voters? In 2018, 66% of new voters registered Democrat. Today it’s only 48%.
Even the NY Times Director of Data Science recently called this, “The death cycle of the Democrat Party.”
My exact prediction from 2016 has come true- the Democrat Party is D-E-A-D. And it’s a self-inflicted gunshot wound- ironic for the party that opposes guns!
Why has this happened? My opinion about transgenders on Bill Maher’s show is certainly part of it. But the Democrat position on transgenders is more about what it represents…
Democrats are now “the party of crazy.”
Everything Democrats fight for is REPULSIVE to the average American- especially any American who works for a living, pays taxes into the system, has a family, or goes to church on Sundays.
Let’s go over the list…
Democrats fight for transgenders. Sorry, but I’m just going to be blunt. The average American wants to vomit when they see a transgender. We think transgenders are weird and mentally ill. No amount of brainwashing, or browbeating will change our mind.
Sorry, but we don’t want Rachel Levine or Sam Britton running our country.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Because pretty much everything Democrats believe in and fight for is weird, strange, bizarre and REPULSIVE to a majority of sane, common sense, Americans.
Democrats love open borders and want to welcome in tens of millions of illegal alien foreign invaders. An overwhelming majority of Americans want the border sealed and the illegal aliens already here to be deported.
Most Americans were stunned to see multiple Democrat Congressmen rushing to El Salvador to bring an illegal alien back to America, who stands accused of MS-13 membership, human trafficking and wife beating. That’s just bizarre.
The priorities of Democrats are insulting, offensive and repulsive to average Americans.
Democrats want to spend money on everyone in the world, except Americans. Most Americans disagree. We don’t care about Somalia, Haiti, Mexico, or Ukraine. We believe in “America First.” You are elected to take care of us.
Democrats love criminals. Democrat DAs let every accused criminal out on cashless bail- even murderers and rapists. Most Americans want these criminals locked up, and then, throw away the key.
Democrats support and defend radical Muslims and pro Hamas groups who burn American flags, while screaming “Death to America” and “Death to Jews.” Most Americans see these vicious, violent people with hatred in their heart, and don’t want them in our country.
Democrats fight for boys to play in girls sports. Almost every parent in America thinks this is madness. We don’t ever want boys in our daughter’s locker room- PERIOD.
Democrats love the IRS. Democrats were giddy to add 80,000 new IRS agents to harass the American people. What political party would find that a winning idea? Transgenders are more popular than 80,000 new IRS agents.
Democrats mandated the untested, experimental, deadly Covid vaccine. They demanded you risk your life, or give up your job. They demanded your children take this dangerous vaccine to attend school. Sorry, but most Americans don’t want any part of any of this madness. The proof is without the mandate, no one wants the booster.
I was right on Bill Maher’s show all those years ago. My prediction came true. The Democrat Party is dead. It was a suicide.
And the brand is so poisoned by radical, extreme, bizarre, weird and insane positions, it’s never coming back.
The Democrat brand is poison- you know, like the Covid vaccine.
