According to Campus Reform, “More than 45 student groups at George Washington University (GWU) signed a petition calling on the school administration to declare the school a ‘sanctuary campus’ for illegal immigrants.”

Like much of academia, GWU is a hotbed of open borders liberalism.

In this specific case, the petition was launched by The GW Socialist Action Initiative.

The group, according to Washington Free Beacon, issued demands for the university, “among the demands were banning federal immigration enforcement officials from entering campus and refusing to cooperate with government surveillance or deportation efforts.”

The Socialist radicals also issued a threat that “any deal that GW could reach with the Trump Administration will harm student life and wellbeing.”

These demands were not without precedent at this university. Previously, GWU’s chapter of Students For Justice In Palestine made a similar demand on May 3rd, “calling on the administration to bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and reject compliance with federal deportation orders.”

Students For Justice In Palestine also called President Trump’s policies a “terror campaign” and said the university was taking “blood money” by agreeing to comply with federal immigration law.

In yet another example of irrational intersectionality Students for Justice In Palestine circulated a petition saying the University’s silence in the face of federal intimidation is “violence against its noncitizen community members.”

The petition continued, “While schools across the nation stand tall against [Department of Homeland Security] and ICE cruelty, GW has promised to ‘do what is required’ to continue receiving this administration’s blood money.”

Like other absurd campus groups, they use euphemisms to obscure their true intent. Noncitizen means illegal.

This is but one absurd example of leftist open borders activism on this campus. Previously, GWU faculty announced the formation of a Faculty for Justice in Palestine chapter, expressing support for divestment from Israel and solidarity with radical student demonstrators.

The University has previously come under federal scrutiny.

The Trump Justice Department concluded GWU violated civil rights laws by not addressing harassment against pro-Israel students in 2024 during the anti-Israel protests.

The DOJ wrote, “The administration took no meaningful action and allowed abhorrent, immoral, and illegal conduct to persist.”

An active shooter was reported at the University of South Carolina’s Columbia campus. 

A shelter-in-place alert was issued campus-wide at approximately 6:45 pm ET.

The university’s emergency notification account posted at 6:47 pm that the alleged shooter was spoted at the library.

However, the school later said there is “no evidence[ce] of an active shooter”

Many on social media are now calling the incident a hoax.

It is unclear if anybody was injured or killed at this time.

The University of South Carolina (USC) issued campus-wide alerts at approximately 6:45 p.m. EDT on Sunday, reporting an active shooter at the Thomas Cooper Library on the Columbia campus. The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall white male wearing black pants, with authorities stating he is “still in the area.”

Multiple police departments are responding to the incident, with USC Police Department and other law enforcement agencies on the scene. The university’s Carolina Alert system has issued multiple warnings instructing students, faculty, and staff to avoid the Thomas Cooper Library area.

The Carolina Alert system has issued specific safety instructions: “Evacuate the area or seek safe shelter and barricade yourself in a safe area as necessary until further notice. Defend yourself if you encounter the suspect. Obey public safety officials’ commands.”

The alert system notes that it “does not confirm whether a shooting has happened,” but urges comprehensive safety precautions including shelter-in-place protocols. The university has directed community members to monitor www.sc.edu/CarolinaAlert and local media for updates.

A Texan exercised his Second Amendment rights on Friday night after individuals claiming to be police approached their home, looking for trouble.

As Fox News reported, a Houston homeowner killed two masked men wearing bulletproof vests marked with “police” and attempting to serve a warrant. The men also had badges around their necks.

The homeowner realized this was a trap after noticing no patrol cars or flashing lights were present.

“They became suspicious because they have a Ring camera and the suspects were stating they had a warrant, but it’s just two people, and they’re masked up and no police cars, no lights or anything like that,” Lt. Khan explained to Fox 26 Houston.

Officer C. Jones told Fox News that police responded to reports of gunfire in the southeast part of the city on Bellnole Drive.

The men fired into the home before the residents returned with gunshots. One of the homeowners fired the fatal shots, killing both of the thugs.

Police attempted CPR at the scene, but the suspects were long gone.

The homeowners were not harmed in the incident.

KHOU 11 spoke with a neighbor, who said they heard a total of 22 gunshots.

Investigators spent nearly 12 hours combing through evidence before leaving the home. They believe the dead crooks were in their 20s.

Police have not yet released their identities, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Houston Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact the homicide division or Crime Stoppers.

Two years ago today, Donald Trump was forced to take a mugshot in Georgia. That moment symbolized the left’s ongoing campaign to weaponize justice against conservatives, to turn the legal system into a political tool rather than an impartial institution.

Democrats and the media called it accountability, but it was nothing more than political persecution. 

Now, exactly two years later, New York Attorney General Letitia James is facing serious allegations of mortgage fraud, and she is claiming that the investigation into her conduct is nothing but the weaponization of justice.

The irony could not be more striking.

Letitia James ran for attorney general with one clear promise: to get Trump. 

She campaigned on the idea that if elected she would target the President. When the state’s top law enforcement officer uses her office as a weapon to destroy political opponents, the rule of law collapses. 

It turns the United States into the very kind of banana republic our country has always stood against. Yet James now wants the public to believe that she is the victim of the very tactics she built her career on.

The truth is that the case against her is very real and very serious. Bill Pulte, the newly confirmed Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, has laid out a detailed record of alleged misconduct. 

He oversees the institutions that regulate America’s housing finance system, and he has accused James of falsifying records to secure favorable mortgage terms. 

If proven true, these allegations could bring charges of wire fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud, and making false statements to financial institutions.

One example involves a home James purchased in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2023. As New York’s attorney general, she was legally required to maintain her primary residence in New York. 

Yet mortgage applications for the Virginia property listed it as her principal residence. By doing so, she secured lower interest rates designed for primary homes. 

If she never truly intended to live there, that would constitute a false statement to a lender. 

The allegations also stretch back further. In 2001, she purchased a five-unit apartment building in Brooklyn but obtained financing as if it had only four units, which allowed her to qualify for a conforming loan at a better rate. 

Even earlier, in 1983, she and her father signed mortgage documents identifying themselves as husband and wife, a misrepresentation that could have been used to meet lender requirements. 

These patterns, if accurate, show decades of deception.

The Department of Justice does not take cases it cannot win. With a conviction rate of roughly 98%, federal prosecutors move forward only when they believe the evidence is overwhelming. 

James spent her career accusing Trump of inflating property values and misrepresenting financial records. Now she is accused of doing the exact same thing. 

If the charges stick, her credibility as attorney general collapses completely. Every prosecution she ever pursued will come under question. Her career was sustained only because she made herself into the face of the anti-Trump resistance. Without that, she has nothing.

The worst hypocrisy is her attempt to play the victim. She says the DOJ’s investigation into her is political. 

But the real weaponization of justice happened when Republicans like Steve Bannon, Brandon Straka, Roger Stone, Rudy Giuliani, and dozens of others were targeted simply because of their politics. 

The real weaponization was when Donald Trump’s mugshot was taken two years ago, while James and her allies cheered.

If the evidence proves that she lied on mortgage applications, misrepresented her residency, or falsified property details, then she deserves to face justice. 

Unlike the baseless prosecutions she pursued against conservatives, this case would be about actual crimes.

A young Texas woman who ran away from home after allegedly being abused has been found living in one of the most unexpected of places.

Three months ago, 21-year-old Kaura Taylor disappeared with her one-year-old daughter on May 25 and entered the United Kingdom on a six-month tourist visa. Now, it has been revealed that she went to live with a ‘lost African tribe’ in the so-called Kingdom of Kubala in the Scottish woodlands.

The Daily Mail reports that Taylor lives with the tribe’s leader, King Atehene, and his wife, Queen Nand. She has adopted the name Asnat, Lady Safi, of Atehene and serves as Atehene’s handmaiden and second wife.

King Atehene is a former PR agent and opera singer from Ghana, who used to be known as Kofi Offeh. Nandi used to go by the name Jean Gasho.

Photos and videos obtained by the Mail show the three dressed in robes and performing rituals. For example, the three are seen dancing at a campfire and worshiping Offeh.

The Daily Mail also reveals that the three live with Taylor’s daughter in a forest in Jedburgh, Scotland. They claim to be trying to restore a so-called Hebrew tribe.

Yes, an innocent child is mixed up in insane cult madness.

Taylor claimed in a Facebook post on August 20 that she ran away to escape an abusive household.

“Yes, I’m very happy with my King and Queen, I was never missing, I fled a very abusive, toxic family who abused me sexually since I was a child! So you don’t go ‘missing’ to your abusers,” Taylor wrote.

Two of Taylor’s relatives disputed this during an interview with The Independent.

“It is very stressful and difficult. It breaks our hearts. We’re overly concerned about Kaura, but she doesn’t think anyone is concerned about her,” Taylor’s aunt Teri Allen told The Independent.

She also pushed back on allegations of Taylor being abused, saying her childhood was “very sheltered and protected.”

Taylor’s other aunt, Vandora Skinner, also spoke out.

“She went missing in May,” Skinner said. “But she wasn’t missing at all; she left to go live with these people.”

Skinner added that Taylor, who lived at her home as a teenager, was a “very, very unruly” teen and “very disrespectful,” but she was given plenty of leeway at home.

“She lived in a four-bedroom house, with her own room, and maybe I shouldn’t have been as light on her as I was,” Skinner stated. “I allowed her boyfriends to come over, but maybe I shouldn’t have. But I did get her to graduate high school.”

Her relatives discovered Taylor’s secret life after she disappeared and left them a cryptic message that said she and her daughter “had to get out and explore a little bit.”

They hope Taylor returns when her visa expires.
