Authorities detained a man at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday evening after he attempted to enter the venue while armed with a tactical knife, at least one firearm, and inactive law enforcement credentials.

The massive memorial service is expected to draw over 100,000 attendees, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other members of the cabinet.

The suspect, whose identity has not been released at this time, reportedly claimed affiliation with law enforcement and exhibited suspicious behavior that prompted action from security personnel.

“The individual is not a member of authorized law enforcement working the event and is currently in custody,” the Secret Service said in a statement to the Washington Post. “The U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement are investigating the circumstances as to why he was at the location.”

The Washington Post reports:

The apparent unauthorized entry raised security concerns around the memorial, which is at capacity and is expected to include President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and many other administration officials and top aides.

The man had at least one gun and one knife when he was stopped, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the matter, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. He also presented “inactive law enforcement credentials” and told Secret Service agents he was at the site to provide private security, the official said.

A spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department referred questions to the Secret Service.

The man is in custody, but has not been arrested or charged as of early Saturday morning.

The Secret Service has designated the memorial as a Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR) Level 1 due to the anticipated massive crowd and VIP presence, meaning it will have the same level of security as the Super Bowl and other major events of national significance.

There has reportedly been “threats of unknown credibility” towards the event and attendees.

A memo issued by agencies including the FBI, Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS), Secret Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), warned of lone offenders, domestic extremists, and foreign terror organizations.

“Violent extremists and unaffiliated lone offenders may view the memorial service or related events as attractive attack targets due to the attendance of these individuals, other senior US government officials, state and local government officials, and political activists and due to major international media attention,” the memo states.

The Post report added, "Secret Service teams have been on the ground for several days coordinating security with other federal, state and local law enforcement officials, and were expected to begin setting up a perimeter around the stadium Saturday, the law enforcement official said."

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m.

Attendees are advised to expect enhanced security measures, including a no-bag policy and additional screening that may result in longer wait times. Mourners are encouraged to wear attire in red, white, or blue.

Instead of flowers, donations are requested for Turning Point USA.

Kirk was assassinated during a speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, as part of his "American Comeback Tour," on Wednesday, September 10.

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old leftist gamer with a transgender live-in boyfriend, has been arrested for the shooting and charged with capital murder.

If convicted, Robinson will be eligible for the death penalty.

Gunshots were fired at an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento, California, on Friday afternoon.

According to police, a vehicle pulled up to the station and a suspect fired three gunshots into the window.

There was one person in the lobby at the time of the shooting, but no one was struck.

The suspect is at large, and police do not have a motive; however, leftists have been lashing out at ABC for pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s show.

Jimmy Kimmel lied to millions of people and claimed Kirk was assassinated by a MAGA conservative.

ABC broadcast affiliate Nexstar removed Jimmy Kimmel from all 32 of its stations on Wednesday after the late-night host lied about Charlie Kirk’s assassin.

Disney also pulled Kimmel’s show.

On Thursday, Barack Obama attacked the Trump Administration after Jimmy Kimmel’s show was suspended, and the next day, an ABC affiliate was shot up.

ABC 27 reported:

Shots were fired at a local news station building in Sacramento, California, on Friday afternoon, local police said.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, around 1:30 p.m., at least three bullets were shot into the building that houses ABC10, a local news affiliate owned by Tegna. It’s also known by its call letters, KXTV.

The building was occupied, but no one was injured.

A police spokesperson said the shots were fired from a vehicle as it drove by. The bullets hit the window of the news station’s lobby, Officer Anthony Gamble said.

President Trump on Friday posted a video of a third drug-trafficking vessel getting blown up.

“On my Orders, the Secretary of War ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking illicit narcotics, and was transiting along a known narcotrafficking passage enroute to poison Americans. The strike killed 3 male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel, which was in international waters. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. President Trump on Monday announced that US forces have conducted another strike against a Venezuelan drug boat with “confirmed narcoterrorists” smuggling illegal narcotics.

“This morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a SECOND Kinetic Strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility,” the President said in a statement.

“The Strike resulted in 3 male terrorists killed in action. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this Strike.”

This comes after Trump announced on September 2nd that the United States carried out its first successful strike on a Venezuelan Tren de Aragua boat that was attempting to smuggle drugs into the US. Trump posted footage of the strike and put the world on notice, saying, “Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!”

Trump issued a stern warning to the narcoterrorists on Truth Social on Monday, stating “BE WARNED — IF YOU ARE TRANSPORTING DRUGS THAT CAN KILL AMERICANS, WE ARE HUNTING YOU!”

“The illicit activities by these cartels have wrought DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES ON AMERICAN COMMUNITIES FOR DECADES, killing millions of American Citizens. NO LONGER,” he added.

“The basilica’s General Director Xavier Martínez said Thursday that ‘the tower will be finished at the end of this year or the beginning of 2026’.

‘This is an important moment in the history of the building of the Sagrada Familia because it will reach its maximum height’, Martínez told The Associated Press. ‘We are used to seeing skyscrapers like those in the United States (go up), but it is remarkable that in the 21st century we are building a cathedral’.

Once the gigantic Tower of Jesus Christ is up, the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí will rise to 172 meters (564 feet). That will make it taller than the Ulmer Münster church in southern Germany, which tops out at 162 meters (531.5 feet).”

“Next year will be the 100th anniversary of the death of Gaudí. The church will hold several events to celebrate his legacy, which includes several stunning buildings in Barcelona and other places in Spain.

Pope Leo XIV has been invited for a solemn Mass to be held in Gaudí’s memory on June 10, the day he died when struck by a streetcar in 1926. Sagrada Familia officials said that they hope to have a response from the Vatican in the coming weeks.”
