Kamala Harris Reveals Who Was Her First Running Mate Choice And Why She Ultimately Passed on the Person in Favor of Tampon Tim Walz

Kamala Harris has exclusively revealed that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was not her initial choice for running mate but a backup option. Her first target was someone more in line with the Democratic intelligentsia and a member of a ‘protected class.’
The Atlantic obtained an excerpt of Harris’s upcoming book “107 Days,” which said that Harris badly wanted to pick her close friend, Pete Buttigieg as her sidekick, but ultimately felt the risk was too significant.
The reason? She felt America was too bigoted to accept a married gay man as vice-president, especially since a Black woman who happened to be married to a Jewish male was leading the Democratic ticket.
“(Buttigieg) would have been an ideal partner—if I were a straight white man,” Harris wrote. “But we were already asking a lot of America: to accept a woman, a Black woman, a Black woman married to a Jewish man.”
“Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it,” she added. “But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk.”
“And I think Pete also knew that — to our mutual sadness.”
Harris went on to bemoan her distraughtness at passing on Buttigieg while emphasizing her closeness to him and his husband.
“I love Pete,” she wrote. “I love working with Pete. He and his husband, Chasten, are friends.”
It’s extremely unlikely Buttigieg or any other VP choice would have saved Harris from a humiliating defeat to President Trump. Americans rightfully saw her as an incompetent phony who would serve as a second disastrous Biden term.
Harris admitted the truth as well when asked about what she would do differently than Biden during his four years in power:
“There’s not a thing that comes to mind,” she said.
“If anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”

Barack Obama on Thursday lashed out at the Trump Administration after ABC removed Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
Jimmy Kimmel lied to millions of people and claimed Kirk was assassinated by a MAGA conservative.
ABC broadcast affiliate Nexstar removed Jimmy Kimmel from all 32 of their stations on Wednesday after the late night host lied about Charlie Kirk’s assassin.
Disney also pulled Kimmel’s show.
“Disney is pulling “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “indefinitely,” the company confirmed to Fox News Digital,” Fox reported.
“Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced that the company’s owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show. Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets,” the statement read.
“Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located,” said Andrew Alford, President of Nexstar’s broadcasting division. “Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

U.S. Military Academies Now Accepting Conservative CLT Exam

U.S. service academies will begin accepting Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores starting with the 2027 admissions cycle. By October 1, West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, and the Merchant Marine Academy are expected to update admissions materials and train staff on the change.
Created in 2015, the CLT sets itself apart from the SAT and ACT by emphasizing classical literature, American history, Christian thinkers, and ethical reasoning, while also forbidding calculators on the math section.
Unlike conventional tests that reward test-taking strategies, the CLT draws from a curated list of great books, philosophy, and historical documents, requiring students to engage with challenging texts and demonstrate substantive argumentation in essay writing.
Advocates say this approach rewards depth of learning, encourages serious study of literature and history, and better reflects the skills needed for rigorous academic work. Many colleges with classical or Great Books curricula already accept CLT scores, arguing it more accurately identifies students prepared for their programs.
Critics argue the CLT privileges Western classical education, disadvantages students without exposure to classical texts, and risks reinforcing inequality by favoring schools with classical curricula.
They also point to its limited acceptance by colleges and claim it could push schools toward a narrow educational philosophy.
Liberals always argue that exams requiring students to read, think, and then write correct answers disadvantage poor people. With the CLT, they claim that poor students and underfunded school districts lack access to classical literature.
This is, of course, nonsense, because classical works are not protected under copyright law and are freely available through countless websites and archives. In fact, basing a curriculum on classical literature makes it more accessible and helps reduce gaps caused by economic disparities.
But the charge of “Western bias” collapses under scrutiny. Every major U.S. standardized test already operates within a Western framework, exactly as it should for institutions of Western higher education.
The SAT draws from American and European literature and political documents, the ACT tests standard American English, the GED requires U.S. history and government knowledge, and AP exams in history, literature, and government are grounded in Western traditions.
This alignment is natural because American universities themselves are built on Western disciplines and methodologies.
Practical examples confirm this reality. English majors study Shakespeare as a core requirement, not non-Western writers. Political science programs center on Locke and Rousseau.
Philosophy departments emphasize the canon from ancient Greece forward. Even when non-Western history is taught, it is analyzed through Western historiographical methods.
International students already understand this, most must prove English proficiency and often take additional coursework to succeed in U.S. programs.
The numbers reinforce the point. International students make up only about 6 percent of U.S. higher education enrollment, meaning 94 percent are American.
The purpose of U.S. entrance exams is to identify students prepared for American universities, not to accommodate global neutrality.
Other nations take the same approach. China’s Gaokao is entirely in Chinese with Chinese cultural and historical content. France’s Baccalauréat assumes deep knowledge of French literature and history.
India’s JEE reflects Indian academic contexts, and Japan’s Center Test is exclusively in Japanese. None of these systems restructure exams to suit foreigners because they serve domestic educational traditions.
The CLT simply makes explicit what already exists: readiness for a Western-based academic system.
Criticizing it for Western bias while accepting the SAT or ACT is inconsistent, since all measure preparation for the same educational model.
The argument that the CLT lacks acceptance is largely political. While the test was initially embraced mainly by Christian colleges and schools in conservative states, its reach has grown rapidly.
Over 300 colleges and universities now accept the CLT, up from about 250 in 2024, and its adoption by U.S. service academies marks the exam’s most significant breakthrough, signaling entry into the educational mainstream.
Florida has been central to this momentum. In September 2023, the state’s Board of Governors approved the CLT for admissions at all public universities, a move backed by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Florida also funds districts to administer the CLT to 11th graders, and students who meet certain score thresholds qualify for state-funded Bright Futures scholarships.
Beyond Florida, the CLT is recognized by a growing list of notable institutions, including Franciscan University, Hillsdale College, Cedarville University, Patrick Henry College, and New College Franklin, which requires CLT scores for applicants under 25. Pepperdine University, Boise Bible College, and several Tennessee schools, such as Belmont, Bryan, Lipscomb, and Union University, have also signed on.
Many CLT partner colleges offer generous scholarships, with more than $100 million annually tied directly to CLT scores.
For example, Benedictine College awards $10,000 to $19,000 per year based on results, with perfect scorers considered for full-tuition Premier Scholarships, while Calvin University offers $12,000 to $20,000 per year depending on GPA and test performance.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has called the CLT “the gold standard,” and Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) introduced the legislation to mandate its acceptance. CLT co-founder Jeremy Tate described the move as restoring rigor and grounding students in the ideas that shaped America.

Sick: Oberlin College Student Leader Wants to “Bring Back Political Assassinations” Following Politically Motivated Murder of Charlie Kirk

Julia Xu is a radical leftist student at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, who serves on the college’s advisory board of the school’s Gender, Sexuality, and Attraction Initiatives and participates with Students for a Free Palestine.
Following the politically motivated murder of Charlie Kirk, Julia voiced her support for political assassinations as a way to silence political opponents.
In a social media post under the handle @bringbacktheguillotine, she said, “We need to bring back political assassinations.”
She continued, “I don’t feel bad and I don’t think that everyone deserves the right to free speech. Some people should be afraid to express their opinion in public.”

She said her statement was influenced by her learnings about Chairman Mao, then went on to misguidedly (and perhaps inadvertently) praise the Chinese leader’s authoritarianism.
Xu explained how she’d learned that after the 1949 Chinese revolution, Mao had decided “people deserve free speech, but there should not be free speech for reactionaries and imperialists and, like capitalists … because that would reverse the progress made [by the revolution].”
The Post contacted Xu, who appeared to backtrack, saying she apologizes and is “deeply remorseful” for her statements.
Although Oberlin condemned Xu’s apparent support of political violence, it does not appear that she will face any formal consequences.
Oberlin’s President Carmen Twillie Ambar said, “Last week, in an open letter, I wrote ‘there is no place for political violence in the America that I love.’ It threatens our sense of safety and well-being and it violates the sanctity of the nation’s civil discourse.”
“I want to emphasize that the views expressed in the student’s post do not reflect those of the faculty member who teaches the class referenced. Nor does the student’s post reflect the views of Oberlin College.”
The college has not addressed how it will keep conservative students safe on its campus in the face of a fellow student advocating for executions.
The Gateway Pundit has reached out to leadership at Oberlin and will update this story if they provide a comment.
Oberlin has faced prior issues with radical leftist behavior. In December 2017, TGP’s Cassandra MacDonald reported that an Ohio bakery filed a lawsuit against Oberlin and its dean for slander, after the establishment was branded as “racist” after three black men assaulted the shopkeeper and were arrested for attempting to steal wine.
Allyn Gibson, the person working at the shop at the time, was repeatedly accused of racial profiling after being assaulted by the men — though no evidence was ever provided of his alleged racism. The Oberlin Student Senate even passed a resolution claiming that Gibson had “a history of racial profiling and discriminatory treatment.”
Gibson filed a lawsuit and ultimately, Oberlin paid the bakery $36 million awarded by a jury.
