Despite all of the available evidence we have, Jimmy Kimmel went on TV and told his entire audience a direct lie about the man who assassinated Charlie Kirk.

Kimmel led his viewers to believe that the shooter was a MAGA conservative, rather than a radicalized left-wing extremist.

As the Gateway Pundit reported,

FCC Chairman Brendon Carr on Wednesday threatened to take immediate action against ABC and Disney after late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel lied to his audience and said Charlie Kirk was killed by a MAGA conservative.

This is, of course, a lie. Charlie Kirk was gunned down by a far-left, pro-transgender radical who hated him for his conservative political views.

The assassin, Tyler Robinson, lived with his transgender lover and said that if he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, he would.

“I’ve had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out,” Robinson told his transgender lover about Kirk.

Jimmy Kimmel lied to millions of people and claimed Kirk was assassinated by a MAGA conservative.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them — and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel told his audience.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr appeared on The Benny Show and told host Benny Johnson that he may take action against ABC and Kimmel.

“This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead,” Brendan Carr said.

The fact that the left has decided that their best strategy going forward is to openly lie to the American people in an attempt to mislead them about the facts of the case should be very telling about who they are.

Rather than looking in the mirror and facing the reality that they have created, the choose to gaslight and lie. Accountability is their kryptonite.

VDL is going through a rough patch.

Von der Leyen is under relentless fire.

The second mandate of European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen (VDL) is turning out way harder than the first, as the controversial leader is still plagued by the Pfizergate scandal, has been facing repeated votes of no-confidence, and to top it all now she is being sued by a Member of the EU Parliament for defamation.

Ursula von der Leyen did survive a no-confidence vote in the European Parliament in July, but more challenges are in short order, coming from the two opposite sides of the political spectrum.

Euronews reported:

“The Left and Patriots for Europe groups are working on two different motions of censure to topple the European Commission, to be tabled in the next weeks, as soon as the minimum threshold of signatures is reached.”

VDL was humiliated during the negotiations for a trade agreement with the US, and signed terms she now apparently can’t honor.

Each motion of censure needs 72 MEP signatures to be put to the vote in the plenary session.

“According to internal sources, the EU’s inaction on Gaza and the deal signed with Mercosur are other reasons for discontent for the Left, which is formed by parties like France Unbowed, Spain’s Podemos, and Italy’s Five Star Movement.

The group comprises 46 MEPs, meaning it needs 26 more signatures to reach the threshold. On principle, the Left will not ask for support from the far-right Patriots for Europe or European Conservatives and Reformists, which, for their part, are not interested in backing any leftist initiative.”

Orbán’s ‘Patriots for Europe’ group will come for VDL, again.

On the other side, the Patriots for Europe group (PfE) is also devising a similar plan.

“The far-right political force – which includes France’s National Rally, Hungary’s Fidesz, and Italy’s The League – has been planning on a new motion of censure since before the summer break, having voted in favour of the one tabled in July.

[…} Patriots do not need help from other groups to table a no-confidence vote. If all their 85 members sign the initiative, the threshold is reached, and the vote has to take place.”

But toppling VDL won’t be easy: last time only 175 members of the European Parliament voted for her dismissal.

While all that is going on, the Commissioner is facing a defamation suit by European lawmakers who led a failed no-confidence vote her, after she implied they were taking orders from Russia.

Politico reported:

“Romanian MEP Gheorghe Piperea, of the right-wing European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR), said the European Commission president chose to ‘personally attack’ him in her remarks during the no-confidence debate.

Piperea is seeking an official public apology for the Commission president’s comments, which he said included the claim that its signatories were ‘[Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s friends’, ‘extremists’, and propagators of ‘conspiracy theories’. A ‘significant number’ of those signatories have joined the lawsuit, the MEP said.”

Piperea is also working to oust VDL in October.

“The case was filed at the EU Court of Justice, which has yet to rule on whether it is admissible. While defamation cases are usually handled by national courts — as the CJEU only rules on EU law — Piperea is using an article of the treaty founding the EU as legal basis. The article states the EU needs to ‘make good any damage caused by its institutions or by its servants in the performance of their duties’.”

The swamp strikes again.

On Wednesday, Rep. Nancy Mace’s (R-S.C.) effort to censure radical Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) for her vile celebration of the political assassination of Charlie Kirk was derailed, not by Democrats alone, but by four spineless Republicans who chose to stand with the Left.

Rep. Mace had announced earlier this week that she would move forward with a resolution to strip Omar of her committee assignments.

During an interview with former MSNBC propagandist and Zeteo founder Mehdi Hasan, Omar mocked Kirk, saying he got precisely what he deserved for simply expressing politically incorrect views. She also accused others of lying for saying Kirk wanted civil discourse.

OMAR: I do know for sure is that Charlie was someone who once said, “Guns save lives” after a school shooting. Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay George Floyd’s death at the hands of the Minneapolis police.

HASAN: He (Kirk) called him (Floyd) a scumbag.

OMAR: Right. (He) downplayed slavery and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth should never exist. Um, and I think there are a lot of people out there saying he just wanted to have a civil debate.

HASAN (chuckling): A complete rewriting of history.

OMAR: Right. There’s nothing more f’ed up than to completely pretend his words and actions have not been recorded (giggling) and in existence for the last decade or so.

Rep. Mace announced on X late Monday that she was filing a House resolution to strip the Somalia-born socialist of every single one of her committee assignments.

“Ilhan Omar should be censured and stripped of every committee seat. Mocking an assassination and glorifying political violence has no place in Congress. We’ll be leading floor debate tonight at 6:15.”

This righteous push came in direct response to Omar’s vile, unhinged gloating over the cold-blooded murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

“Ilhan Omar has shown us exactly who she is: she defends political violence and refuses to condemn the loss of innocent lives when it doesn’t suit her agenda, even the cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk. It’s dangerous, disgraceful, and beneath the United States Congress. She must be stripped of every committee assignment. No excuses.”

However, according to Axios, when the censure measure came to the floor, four Republicans sided with Democrats to kill it.

“Tonight, 210 Democrats and 4 Republicans sold out and chose to protect Ilhan Omar, a woman who mocked the cold-blooded assassination of an innocent American husband and father, who has openly supported ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood, and who has repeatedly incited political violence,” Rep. Mace wrote on X.

“They didn’t stand with Charlie Kirk. They didn’t stand with the millions of Americans mourning his death. They stood with the one who mocked his legacy. They showed us exactly who they are, and we won’t forget.”

The four weak Republicans who sided with Democrats were:

  • Rep. Mike Flood (R-Neb.)
  • Rep. Jeff Hurd (R-Colo.)
  • Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.)
  • Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.)

These weak-kneed Republicans voted to table the measure, effectively giving Ilhan Omar a pass for celebrating political violence.

“4 Republicans sold out tonight. They sided with Democrats to protect Ilhan Omar. A woman who mocked the assassination of an innocent American husband and father,” Mace wrote on X.

“Democrats just voted to protect Ilhan Omar. Not Charlie Kirk, not his grieving family, not basic human decency. This is who they are. Never forget it.”

Former Tonight Show host and late-night television royalty, Jay Leno, has called the assassination of Charlie Kirk “the death of free speech.”

Leno made the comments during an interview with The Tim Conway Jr. Show on KFI 640 in Los Angeles last week.

“It’s not a random shooting. I mean, it’s the death of free speech,” Leno asserted.

Leno continued, “to think that you are so illiterate and so stupid you can’t answer verbally, and you have to shoot somebody with a gun to win the argument.”

The television icon lamented that the days of lively debates are now gone.

“But this is a political assassination of a man I didn’t necessarily agree with, but I certainly enjoyed listening to because, ‘Oh, I didn’t know that.’ I don’t have to agree on everything,” Leno said.

He continued, “We’re in a point in this country where if you don’t agree with everybody and everything, you take out a gun and you shoot them, and especially on a college campus?”

“I enjoy listening to the other side because that’s how I get smarter,” Leno said.

Leno appreciated that Kirk was smarter than him and wasn’t someone who “berated” those he disagreed with.

“It’s very unsettling. This one really struck me. Every time someone’s assassinated, but it’s really the death of free speech,” Leno said.

Kirk was shot while debating liberal college students at an event in Utah on Wednesday.

Tyler Robinson, 22, has been arrested and charged with capital murder.

If convicted, he will be eligible for the death penalty.
