Representative Jim Jordan took to X today to announce that Google has capitulated on its draconian censorship ‘rules’ over the past several years and has vowed to reinstate previously banned accounts on the YouTube platform.

Rep. Jordan wrote, “Due to our oversight efforts, GOOGLE commits to offer ALL creators previously kicked off YouTube due to political speech violations to return to the platform.”

In follow up posts to X, Rep. Jordan reveals some of the specific details.  For example, YouTube “admits the Biden administration censorship pressure was ‘unacceptable and wrong’” and “confirms that the Biden administration wanted Americans censored for speech that did not violate YouTube’s policies.”

YouTube states:

“Senior Biden Administration officials, including White House officials, conducted repeated and sustained outreach to Alphabet and pressed the Company regarding certain user-generated content related to the COVID-19 pandemic that did not violate its policies.  While the Company  continued  to develop and enforce its policies independently, Biden Administration officials continued to press the Company to remove non-violative  user-generated content.”

“As online platforms…grappled with these decisions, the Administration’s officials, including President Biden, created a political atmosphere that sought to influence the actions of platforms  based on their concerns regarding misinformation.”

“It is unacceptable and wrong when any government, including the Biden Administration, attempt  to dictate how the Company moderates content, and the Company has consistently fought against those efforts on First Amendment grounds.”

YouTube went on to vow that “no matter the political atmosphere” they will “continue to enable free expression on its platform” while claiming they “expanded its approach to educational, documentary, scientific, and artistic content on its platform.”

In doing so, they acknowledge that they “terminated channels for violating its Community Guidelines on election integrity content through 2023 and COVID-19 content through 2024” and  will “provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the Company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and election integrity policies that are no longer in effect.”

On his first day in office, President Trump Executive Order 14149, “Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship.”  The EO directed all federal agencies to refrain from and correct any past actions involving unconstitutional censorship of Americans while directing the Attorney General to investigate any federal censorship over the past four years.

Recently President Trump and administration officials have raised concerns over Section 230, a provision in the Communications Decency Act of 1996 that  shields online platforms from liability based on content created by third party users.  With calls focused on amending this section, social media platforms could potentially face lawsuits over defamation and harmful and/or illegal material posted to their platforms.  This would likely lead to much stricter censorship, rather than freedom of speech.

Perhaps those insinuations were the proverbial ‘shot over the bow’ to reign in a one-sided provision that affords private companies freedom from liability while still allowing them complete control over moderation over free, constitutional speech.

Either way, this is a massive victory for President Trump’s efforts to reign in the censorship regime.

From ‘time served’ to decades in prison, Diddy’s sentencing is expected to be dramatic.

As we approach the sentencing in the blockbuster criminal trial of disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, it arises that his defense wants Judge Arun Subramanian to sentence him to ‘time served’, meaning that he’d go free a few days after the sentencing.

Diddy has been detained over a year in Brooklyn MDC federal prison after his arrest in September 2024.

The New York Post reported:

“’In the past two years, Mr. Combs’s career and reputation have been destroyed. He has served over a year in one of the most notorious jails in America — yet has made the most of that punishment’, his lawyers wrote to the court. ‘It is time for Mr. Combs to go home to his family, so he can continue his treatment and try to make the most of the next chapter of his extraordinary life…It is the only just and fair sentence that could be imposed’.”

Diddy dodged the possibility of a life sentence by getting acquitted on the racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

“But the fallen rap icon still faces up to 10 years in prison after he was convicted on two counts of breaking the Mann Act, a federal law making it a crime to transport someone across state lines for prostitution.”

Judge Subramanian will rule on how long the convicted rapper will spend behind bars.

It’s relevant to remember that during his decision of not granting bail to Diddy after the verdict, the judge showed how low his opinion of the defendant is.

Defense lawyers insisted Diddy was only guilty of domestic abuse, and were able to convince the jury that all the sexual encounters were consensual.

“The salacious case shed light on Combs’ taste for ‘freak-offs’ — grueling, drug-fueled sex marathons in which he watched his girlfriend perform sex acts with male escorts — and revealed the brazen steps he took to hide his physical abuse of his lovers from the public.”

Diddy will be back in court for a hearing on Thursday morning, while federal prosecutors will make their own sentencing recommendation to the judge by next Monday.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered an epic smackdown of one of Bill Clinton’s former henchmen when he outrageously accused the Trump Administration of having blood on its hands after shutting down the corrupt United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Rubio appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday, hours before President Trump gave his speech to the United Nations General Assembly. Disgraced anchor George Stephanopoulos immediately launched a hostile interrogation by accusing the Trump Administration of killing people due to the end of USAID.

The Secretary of State calmly explained that USAID funding was cut off because the agency was corrupt and funded NGOs that pocketed the money instead of distributing it to people in need.

After Stephanopoulos continued to badger him, Rubio pointed out that the US still spends more on foreign aid than any nation in the world, so blaming our nation is insane when other wealthy countries like China and Canada contribute far less. If America has blood on its hands, these other countries have far more, yet they’re getting a free pass.

Rubio went on to make one final key point: it was impossible to distribute in many cases because of ongoing wars and the fact that criminal gangs were stealing the money in countries such as Haiti.

Due to these factors, a drastic change in the distribution of aid money is underway.

RUBIO: We shut down USAID because it was a dysfunctional organization…Number 2, we are going to do more foreign aid than any country in the world, but we’re going to do it the right way.

We are not going to fund an NGO industrial complex that built itself up by taking a substantial percentage of the money. It was not going directly to the recipients, it was going to these multi-billion dollar organizations.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator, that’s all in the future. But are you standing by that comment that no one has died because of the aid cuts? Are all those aid organizations lying?

RUBIO: No. That’s ridiculous. Well, then they died because England or Canada didn’t give more, or China, the second largest economy in the world. Let’s blame the other countries who don’t give any foreign aid.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you’re no longer disputing that the aid cuts didn’t cost people their lives?

RUBIO: It did not. Anyone who tells you it’s the US, if we cut a dollar, we’re responsible for some horrific thing? It’s just not true.

It’s not because we cut the aid. It’s because there’s a war going on, and the aid never got to the people…they use aid as a tool against the people. In some of these places, it can’t even be distributed. Look at Haiti.

It gets hijacked and stolen by criminal gangs…They’re the ones to blame, not us, who’ve provided more than anyone else.

STEPHANOPOULOS: You’re standing by that no one has died?

RUBIO: No one has died because the US cut aid. no. People have died because gangs steal the aid, other countries haven’t stepped up, but the US has saved more lives than any country in the world.

We’re not gonna continue to pour billions out the door of taxpayer funds for programs that don’t work and in some cases were flat-out corrupt.

Fr. Andre Mahanna Shared the following with us regarding the church and the union of Protestants and Catholics. Charlie Kirk and his wife Erika Kirk taught us about how we can all come together:

My friends, brothers and sisters in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in a situation like the one brought forth here by @KeithNester1 , it seems that both Protestantism and Catholicism have a major lesson to learn from
@charliekirk11 and his wife the wonderful @MrsErikaKirk namely from their spiritual and Christian conduct. Coming from Catholic and Evangelical background and traditions, and united in the holy matrimony as husband and wife, it seems that they both lived what Saint Paul told us to do: “They tried to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace and to live a life worthy of their vocation”. In Ephesians 4: 1- 13, St. Paul tells us how our gifts can be used to unite us as a Church: GO BACK TO THE SOURCE, maintain the spiritual wealth and the treasure of faith and true knowledge we have acquired from both traditions: Catholicism and Protestantism, We can be again One Faith, One Baptism One Lord.

No one knew to what extent, @MrsErikaKirk and @charliekirk11 were prisoners in the Lord for our sake, until he had to be baptized by the baptism of the blood as martyr, while her heart got pierced with the sword like the Virgin Mary so that the thoughts of many will be revealed and to give the extreme testimony of forgiveness like Jesus on the Cross. In such a way, they definitely found a way to be members of the One, Holy, Catholic Apostolic and true (Orthodox) Church of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I believe by embracing the power of the Cross, by realizing that we are prisoners for his sake and for the sake of the Gospel, and by trying to live faithful to our vocation in Christ, there is a way for us to be united in the One Body of Christ. This mystical unity amongst Christians effectively goes beyond the institutional divisions of the churches it restores the Body of Christ.

I believe our task should be to achieve the ultimate unity as Christians in America: we must do all what we can like
@MrsErikaKirk and @charliekirk11 to preserve the Unity of the Spirit by the Peace that binds us together. We must realize that the spiritual heritage, the deposit of the true faith, and the treasure of true knowledge are no one’s personal possession. These are the omnipotent, common heritage of all the good Christians regardless of church affiliation, and the temporal Legacy of any particular church. It is very unfortunate yet a source of divine power and glory that God chose @MrsErikaKirk and @charliekirk11 to serve His Glory, to bring us all together before the power of the Cross and to follow Christ on the way of the Cross. Once united to Christ suffering, passion and resurrection, Christ makes us perfect men and women, for He is the perfect Redeemer and the God of our salvation.

If we were to learn from @charliekirk11 and his wife @MrsErikaKirk I would say we apply the content of the epistle of Saint Paul to the Ephesians chapter 4: 1-7. 11-13: Here what it reads:

“Brothers and Sisters,

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

8This is why it a says:

“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”

… So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

They say Catholics worship Mary, but Charlie said a lot of positive things about her that go beyond the typical “she’s just another sinner” arguments. Protestants don’t believe the saints in heaven can hear our prayers or see us, and that it’s idolatry to ask them for anything, yet over and over yesterday people appealed to Charlie as though he could. Protestants believe in faith alone for salvation but even Charlie’s pastor included a “work” (stand up and pray this prayer) to his call to salvation. We could go on and on.
