Liberal media and leftists on social media have been pushing a ‘bribery scandal’ about Tom Homan for the last few days and the story has already flamed out.

Lots of people knew this was nothing more than another hit piece on a Trump ally and completely dismissed it. Megyn Kelly’s response was particularly epic.

The problem for the left is that this is all so old, people can see a manufactured hit job like this coming from a mile away.

What the hell is even that? There were other reasons why this hit piece was drowned out, not least because no one cares about what MSNBC says. It’s another example of the legacy media dying—everyone is tired of their fake news and ‘scoops’ that are nothing burgers. Take this ‘big scoop’ the anti-Trump outlet had about Border Czar Tom Homan, who allegedly accepted $50,000 in bribes from undercover FBI agents, but Trump’s DOJ shut down that investigation.

The copy for the social media push seemed damning, but it’s another fake news circus. Also, this investigation wasn’t a Trump DOJ safari. It was a fishing expedition under Biden’s Justice Department goons.

The FBI and the Justice Department planned to wait to see whether Homan would deliver on his alleged promise once he became the nation’s top immigration official. But the case indefinitely stalled soon after Donald Trump became president again in January, according to six sources familiar with the matter. In a statement provided to MSNBC, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “This matter originated under the previous administration and was subjected to a full review by FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors. They found no credible evidence of any criminal wrongdoing. The Department’s resources must remain focused on real threats to the American people, not baseless investigations. As a result, the investigation has been closed.”

Rest assured, the left will invent a new scandal about another one of Trump’s people next week, and then another. This is what they do. They are bankrupt of ideas, so they just attack again and again.

A convicted child molester from Liberia was charged with naturalization fraud after federal prosecutors revealed he lied about his criminal history in order to become a U.S. citizen.

Back in August, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina announced that a federal grand jury had indicted 71-year-old Cyril Domaquik Clemens. 

Born in Liberia, Clemens allegedly concealed his long record of sexual abuse from immigration authorities, allowing him to naturalize in 2021 before his crimes came to light.

According to court documents, Clemens made knowingly false statements under oath during his naturalization process. 

When asked on his application and in interviews with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) whether he had ever engaged in forcing sexual contact or committed a crime for which he had not been arrested, Clemens answered “No.” 

He later took the oath of citizenship on February 19, 2021.

Less than two years later, Clemens’ past caught up with him. 

On April 3, 2023, in the Superior Court of North Carolina in Durham County, he pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent liberties with a child. 

Prosecutors said Clemens molested the victim for over a decade, beginning when the child was just four years old. The abuse continued until March 2022. 

He was sentenced to 16 to 29 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.

At the time Clemens naturalized, immigration officials were unaware of his criminal conduct because he had not yet been arrested. 

Prosecutors now argue that his lies during the citizenship process amount to fraud. He has been charged in a three-count indictment, each carrying severe penalties.

If convicted, Clemens faces up to 30 years in federal prison and will automatically lose his U.S. citizenship.

The case is part of “Operation False Haven,” a federal initiative designed to target child predators and serious felons who exploit the immigration system to obtain citizenship. 

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents are conducting the investigation, with support from USCIS’s Fraud Detection and National Security Division. 

Assistant U.S. Attorney Lori Warlick is prosecuting the case.

Acting U.S. Attorney Daniel P. Bubar underscored the seriousness of the charges, noting that naturalization fraud undermines the integrity of the immigration system and allows dangerous criminals to hide in plain sight. 

If successful, this prosecution will not only strip Clemens of his citizenship but also send a clear message: the United States will not tolerate predators using lies to gain the privileges of American citizenship.

There seems to be something truly wrong with Keith Olbermann’s brain. The former MSNBC host is not mellowing with age, he is getting even crazier and more hostile.

Last week after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, he went on a bizarre rant and said that Kirk was in hell. Now he is apparently threatening CNN’s Scott Jennings, the network’s lone conservative pundit.

At what point does Olbermann get carted off to a loony bin by nice young men in white coats? The guy obviously needs mental help.

Liberal political commentator Keith Olbermann deleted a social media post Monday in which he appeared to threaten conservative CNN analyst Scott Jennings.

“You’re next motherf–ker,” read Olbermann’s deleted X post, according to a screenshot shared by Townhall columnist Dustin Grage

“But keep mugging to the camera,” the former MSNBC and ESPN host added, in another deleted tweet, according to the grabs Jennings retweeted from Grage while tagging FBI Director Kash Patel.

Olbermann appears to have been responding to a tweet from Jennings reacting to ABC reinstating late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, after he was pulled off the air for offensive comments related to conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Olbermann deleted the tweet, but not before people screencapped it.

The last time we heard from far left filmmaker Rob Reiner was shortly after the 2024 election, when he was checking himself into a nice, quiet place to get over the crushing defeat of Kamala Harris to Donald Trump.

This week, he resurfaced on Bill Maher’s podcast. Maher told him that Democrats have to start talking to Republicans and figure out a way to work with them. Reiner countered, saying that should only happen if Democrats have certain preconditions in place, an idea that Maher quickly rejected.

We’re so glad that Reiner got the quiet time away that he so clearly needed, not that it made much of a difference.

Comedian Bill Maher argued with liberal actor Rob Reiner on a Monday podcast over whether Democrats should condition their conversations with Republicans on some level of agreement.

Following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, Maher praised the political right on a Sept. 15 episode of “Club Random with Bill Maher” for being willing to speak with people holding differing views and criticized the left for its unwillingness. The comedian told Reiner on the podcast Monday that Democrats’ position is particularly unfeasible given the party’s current lack of government control, but the actor still suggested dialogue should only take place if there is consensus “on certain facts.”…

“You’re right. But here’s the thing. Let’s say we’re going to have that argument. You’re going to try to talk to somebody and you have a point of view,” Reiner retorted. “The other person has a point of view. Before you have the exchange, you have to agree on certain facts.”

Maher immediately disagreed.

“No, you don’t,” the comedian said. “You can’t … You just have to talk to people.”

The ABC affiliate shooter left a handwritten note in his car referencing Charlie Kirk and threatening Trump Administration officials – and he was still released on bond over the weekend.

The handwritten note read: “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondie. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”

Anibal Hernandez Santana was arrested and charged on Saturday for shooting into the studio of an ABC affiliate on Friday evening.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, gunshots were fired at an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento, California, on Friday afternoon after Jimmy Kimmel’s show was suspended.

According to police, a vehicle pulled up to the station and a suspect fired three gunshots into the window.

There was one person in the lobby at the time of the shooting, but no one was struck.

Police arrested 64-year-old Hernandez Santana, a rabid Trump hater, and charged him with three felonies.

Federal authorities arrested Hernandez Santana on Sunday shortly after he was released on bond.

The FBI has taken into custody the suspect linked to the shooting into ABC10’s Sacramento station lobby under a federal hold for interference with licensed broadcasts.
