A conservative mother who was angry over her school district’s woke and dangerous policies decided to drive home her point in a highly unusual and not exactly G-related fashion earlier this month.

As The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday, Beth Bourne, the chair of Moms for Liberty in Yolo County, decided to take off her clothes at a Davis Joint Unified School Board meeting on September 18 to protest the district’s junior high school locker room policies.

Before she stripped, Bourne explained that she wanted board members to understand how vulnerable students feel when classmates choose a locker room based on gender identity instead of assigned sex at birth. The school district lets students undress in whatever locker room they feel comfortable in based on how they identify.

“So I’m just going to give you an idea of what it looks like when I undress,” the 50-year-old activist said, removing her shirt and revealing her bikini top.

“This school district is saying that depending on a child’s transgender identity, that they can pick which bathroom they want,” Bourne continued.

Bourne continued to undress to the horror of the woke school board members.

“Right now, with this school district, we have children self-identifying into different bathrooms just based off,” she said while taking off her pants.

A trustee yelled in response: “No, you cannot.”

“I have my bathing suit on,” she fired back. “Excuse me, this is allowed.”

Vice President Hiram Jackson, who was filling in for Board President Joe DiNunzio in leading the meeting, then ordered a recess to stop the madness.

But Bourne was not agreeable and accused the board of censoring her.

Her microphone was then cut off.

“You are disrupting,” Jackson replied while suspending the meeting.

ABC 10 reported the school board meeting later reconvened, with board members warning Bourne that she would be removed if she took off her clothes again.

However, Bourne began taking off her clothes again, causing the meeting to be recessed once more. Police were called, and the mother was then asked to leave.

Bourne told ABC10 that her First Amendment rights were violated and she is consulting an attorney.

In October, 2023, I made what at the time seemed like a “bold” prediction. Gold spot prices had flirted with $2,000 per ounce but had dropped back into the $1,800s. Some analysts were calling $2,000 an ounce something in the distant future, so I countered with a post titled, “Gold Will Hit $2,000… Then it Will Hit $3,000 by 2026.”

Technically, I was right. It shot right past $3,000 less than two months after President Trump took office and is now likely to break $4,000 before the end of the year. My prediction, bold at the time, underestimated gold’s popularity by about a year.

Fast-forward to today and the same questions that were being asked when gold was nearing $2,000 are being asked now. Its price has doubled in two years and most indicators point to a continued upward trend. Why? Because we are in the middle of a perfect storm for physical precious metals.

We are in the middle of the “Trump Gold Rush.”

Interest rates are going down, as President Trump wants. The US dollar is weakening, as President Trump wants. Tariffs, investments into American manufacturing, and domestic energy policies are driving up gold prices, just as President Trump wants.

Other investment types aren’t fairing as well. Treasuries are losing efficacy. The Dow is up a mere 5% since Inauguration Day. Even Bitcoin, which President Trump loves, is up under 10% since Inauguration Day. Gold is up nearly 40% in the same period.

Add in dedollarization, global conflicts, government shutdowns, the declining US dollar, national debt, and inflation, and it’s clear why everyone from low-end investors to central banks are buying up gold.

This is why it’s skyrocketing, but is there an end in sight? Will gold’s run come to a screeching halt?

While there is a good chance that gold will experience a correction or two in the months and years to come, many economists are jumping on board with the notion that there is no real cap to this finite asset.

President Trump is scheduled to make an announcement this afternoon reportedly on prescription drug prices and a deal with Pfizer.

Per the Hill:

“President Trump is doing more to lower healthcare costs than anyone else in Washington, D.C. While Democrats are threatening to shut down the federal government to subsidize health care for illegal aliens, President Trump is leveraging the power of the federal government to drastically cut drug prices for everyday Americans,” White House spokesperson Kush Desai told The Hill in a statement ahead of the comments.

Desai added, “Democrats talked the talk for decades about drug prices, but only President Trump is actually walking the walk.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt also teased TrumpRx in a post on Truth Social — a “direct-to-consumer website for Americans to buy drugs.”

The president’s remarks also come as the government faces a looming shutdown — and as Democrats stand their ground on wanting the GOP to address Affordable Care Act subsidies and Medicaid cuts — and after his speech alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to a large gathering of military leaders.

Trump also previewed his announcement moments before the Oval Office address, telling reporters that prescription drug prices are “coming way down.”

Will the Defense Team Challenge Utah’s Behavioral Health Connection?

According Utah Sheriff Mike Smith, lead investigator into the assassination of Charlie Kirk, he received a call from Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby that the mother of accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, essentially was convinced that her son had committed Charlie Kirk’s murder, so one would expect Robinson’s legal powerhouse team to do, among other things, a deep dive into the family’s state behavioral health connections. In fact, Robinson’s “pros from dover” “O J level” legal representation is astonishing on its face.

Of the three super attorneys, Kathryn Nester of the Salt Lake law firm of Nester-Lewis, independent attorney, Michael N. Burt of San Francisco, California, Richard G. Novak, also of California, they have between them a gazillion hours of criminal litigation and expertise in Capital cases specializing in forensics, specifically DNA.

While the prosecution has yet to lay out its reported “substantial” evidence in the case, everyone is aware that a 30-06 Rifle was found in the woods belonging to the accused. Although Robinson’s DNA was reportedly found on the alleged weapon, given that the gun belonged to the accused shooter, one would expect Robinson’s DNA to be on the weapon. The prosecution will have to prove that Robinson brought that weapon to Utah Valley University (UVU) and pulled the trigger.

But beyond the obvious, there are too many pieces of Kirk’s political assassination that simply don’t make sense or are contradictory. Frankly, Utah law enforcement has made statements and promoted timelines that have changed and don’t fit the actual events of the day. But Robinson’s powerful defense team will comb through the contradictions and the state’s evidence. The bottom line, though, is that every person accused of Capital murder should be so lucky to have such a defense team.

That team will have to consider Robinson’s family and even his romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, who had been transitioning from male to female for some time. The defense team will want to know whether Amber Robinson, a certified social worker, employed by Intermountain Care Coordination LLC via the state of Utah, had any connection to the medical/psychiatric treatment being provided to her son’s partner and the role intermountain gender affirming care had, if any.

Robinson’s defense will surely have to do a deep dive into the alleged assassin’s mental health background. While there is currently a great deal of speculation surrounding Twiggs being “trans,” nothing has been provided that would suggest that Robinson had also been considering transitioning.

More importantly, the defense will have to know whether Robinson had received any or several psychiatric diagnoses and whether Robinson had received any psychiatric mind-altering drugs including any psychiatric drugs that were given to him at arrested. Further it would behoove the “pros” to question Twiggs’s psychiatric history and psychiatric drug use.

It cannot be ignored that Robinson’s mother, Amber Robinson, was employed by a state-funded behavioral health organization, Intermountain, that acted as go-between for providers and patients. Did Amber Robinson play any part in Twiggs’ transition or referring her son to a behavioral health expert? Medical referrals matter and it must be revealed whether the accused shooter’s mother, through state associated employment, played any role in the partner of her son or her own son’s mental health treatment, if any.

It still is early in the case and little to no new “evidence” has been provided to the public. But the “indigent” Robinson couldn’t have asked for a more intensive defense team.

The fact that a DNA expert makes up part of the team is essential, but it would be unwise for the super litigators to ignore the role behavioral health may have played in the lead up to the assassination.  It appears if a “behavioral health” rock is thrown in any direction it would hit the initial suspect arrested yelling he killed Charlie Kirk, to the accused mother, and Lance Twiggs male partner that was clearly under some medical/psychiatric care.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth declared an end to woke political correctness and gender equity while delivering remarks to top military leaders on Tuesday in Quantico, Virginia.

During his speech, he announced that combat troops will return to male standards of fitness and training, and combat units will undergo combat field tests, which they must pass at the male standard scores. Finally, lethality and combat readiness is being prioritized over inclusivity in the military.

Hegseth justified the move, stating, “this job is life or death.”

“At every level, we should seek to exceed the standard, to push the envelope, to compete,” Hegseth told the room full of generals and top officers. “It’s common sense and core to who we are and what we do. It should be in our DNA.”

Hegseth: Today, At My Direction each service will ensure every requirement for every combat MOS, for every designated combat arms position, returns to the highest male standard only because this job is life or death. Standards must be met and not just met. At every level, we should seek to exceed the standard, to push the envelope, to compete. It’s common sense and core to who we are and what we do. It should be in our DNA.

Today, at My Direction, we’re also adding a combat field test for combat arms units that must executable in any envoronment and at any time and with combat equipment. These tests will look familiar; they’ll resemble the Army expert fitness assessment or the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test. I’m also directing that war fighters in combat jobs execute their service fitness test at a gender neutral, age-normed, male standard scored above 70%. It all starts with physical fitness and appearance.

Per Task and Purpose,

“War does not care if you’re a man or a woman, neither does the enemy,” he said.

He added that the move is not meant to prevent women from serving in combat jobs, but said that may be the result.

“But when it comes to any job that requires physical power to perform in combat, those physical standards must be high and gender neutral,” Hegseth said. “If women can make it, excellent. If not, it is what it is. If that means no women qualify for some combat jobs, so be it. That is not the intent. But it could be the result. So be it.”

During the speech, Hegseth announced the creation of a “combat field test” for combat arms units, and announced a new requirement for combat arms units: That they “execute their service test at a gender-neutral, age-normed male standard scored above 70%.”
