President Trump delivers remarks at the World Economic Forum – January 21, 2026

President Trump, on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum, declared that he wants “immediate negotiations” to acquire Greenland from Denmark while slamming the NATO alliance for treating the United States “very unfairly.”

“The United States is treated very unfairly by NATO, I want to tell you that. When you think about it, nobody can dispute it, we give so much, and we get so little in return,” Trump told the Globalists in Davos. “And I’ve been a critic of NATO for many years, and yet I’ve done more to help NATO than any other president, by far, than any other person. You wouldn’t have NATO if I didn’t get involved in my first term. The war with Ukraine is an example.”

Trump also took aim at Denmark, noting that he has “great respect” and love for the country and its people, but slamming the leaders as “ungrateful” for the United States’s help in securing Greenland during World War II. “We saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold in our hemisphere. So, we did it for ourselves also,” Trump said. “And then after the war, which we won, we won it big— without us right now, you’d all be speaking German and a little Japanese, perhaps. After the war, we gave Greenland back to Denmark. How stupid were we to do that?”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Tuesday that he will meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and “the various parties” on his planned acquisition of Greenland, which he described as “imperative for National and World Security.” Rutte expressed his commitment to “finding a way forward on Greenland” in a text message shared publicly by the President.

"Now, our country and the world face much greater risks than it did ever before because of missiles, because of nuclear, because of weapons of warfare that I can't even talk about," he continued, noting that in Venezuela, "they saw weapons that nobody ever heard of" and "weapons of warfare that I can't even talk about."

Earlier in the speech, Trump reminded the WEF that "No nation or group of nations is in any position to be able to secure Greenland, other than the United States. We're a great power, much greater than people even understand." He added, "I think they found that out two weeks ago in Venezuela."

"This enormous unsecured Island is actually part of North America on the northern frontier of the Western Hemisphere," the President further argued. "That's our territory."

The President continued, "In 2019, Denmark said that they would spend over $200 million to strengthen Greenland's defenses. But as you know, they spent less than 1% of that amount, 1%. There's no sign of Denmark there." And before demanding "immediate negotiations" on the sale of Greenland, Trump declared, "It's the United States alone that can protect this giant mass of land, this giant piece of ice, develop it, and improve it and make it so that it's good for Europe and safe for Europe and good for us."

Transcript:

Trump: Ultimately, these are matters of national security, and perhaps no current Issue makes the situation more clear than what's currently going on with Greenland. Would you like me to say a few words of Greenland? I was going to leave it out of the speech, but I thought— I think I would have been reviewed very negatively. I have tremendous respect for both the people of Greenland and the people of Denmark, tremendous respect.

But every NATO ally has an obligation to be able to defend their own territory. And the fact is, no nation or group of nations is in any position to be able to secure Greenland, other than the United States. We're a great power, much greater than people even understand. I think they found that out two weeks ago in Venezuela.

We saw this in World War II, when Denmark fell to Germany after just six hours of fighting, and was totally unable to defend either itself or Greenland. So, the United States was then compelled we did it. We felt an obligation to do it, to send our own forces to hold the Greenland territory. And hold it we did at great cost and expense. They didn't have a chance of getting on it, and they tried. Denmark knows that.

We literally set up bases on Greenland for Denmark. We fought for Denmark. We weren't fighting for anyone else. We were fighting to save it for Denmark. Big, beautiful piece of ice. It's hard to call it land. It's a big piece of ice. But we saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold in our hemisphere. So, we did it for ourselves also. And then after the war, which we won, we won it big— without us right now, you'd all be speaking German and a little Japanese, perhaps. After the war, we gave Greenland back to Denmark. How stupid were we to do that? But we did it, but we gave it back. But how ungrateful are they now?

So, now, our country and the world face much greater risks than it did ever before because of missiles, because of nuclear, because of weapons of warfare that I can't even talk about. Two weeks ago, they saw weapons that nobody ever heard of. They weren't able to fire one shot at us. They said, What happened? Everything was discombobulated. They said, We've got them in our sights, press the trigger, and nothing happened. No anti-aircraft missiles went up. There was one that went up about 30 feet and crashed down right next to the people that sent it. They said, What the hell is going on? Those defensive systems were made by Russia and by China. So, they're going to go back to the drawing boards, I guess.

Greenland is a vast, almost entirely uninhabited and undeveloped territory. They're sitting undefended in a key strategic location between the United States, Russia, and China. That's exactly where it is, right smack in the middle. It wasn't important, nearly, when we gave it back. You know, when we gave it back, it wasn't the same as it is now. It's not important for any other reason. You know, everyone talks about the minerals. There's so many places— there's so rare earths. No such thing as rare earth. There's rare processing, but there's so much rare earths. And this, to get to this rare earths, you had to go through hundreds of feet of ice. That's not the reason we need it.

We need it for strategic national security and international security. This enormous unsecured Island is actually part of North America on the northern frontier of the Western Hemisphere. That's our territory. It is, therefore, a core national security interest of the United States of America, and in fact, it's been our policy for hundreds of years to prevent outside threats from entering our hemisphere, and we've done it very successfully. We've never been stronger than we are now. That's why American presidents have sought to purchase Greenland for nearly two centuries. You know, for two centuries they've been trying to do it.

They should have kept it after World War Two, but they had a different president. That's all right. People think differently, much more necessary now than it was at that time, however. In 2019, Denmark said that they would spend over $200 million to strengthen Greenland's defenses. But as you know, they spent less than 1% of that amount, 1%. There's no sign of Denmark there. And I say that with great respect for Denmark, whose people I love, whose leaders are very good. It's the United States alone that can protect this giant mass of land, this giant piece of ice, develop it, and improve it and make it so that it's good for Europe and safe for Europe and good for us.

And that's the reason I'm seeking immediate negotiations to once again discuss the acquisition of Greenland by the United States, just as we have acquired many other territories throughout our history, as many of the European nations have. They've acquired, there's nothing wrong with it. Many of them, some went in reverse actually. If you look, some had great, vast wealth, great, vast lands all over the world. They went in reverse. They're stuck back where they started. That happens too, but some grow.

But this would not be a threat to NATO. This would greatly enhance the security of the entire Alliance, the NATO Alliance. The United States is treated very unfairly by NATO, I want to tell you that. When you think about it, nobody can dispute it, we give so much, and we get so little in return. And I've been a critic of NATO for many years, and yet I've done more to help NATO than any other president, by far, than any other person. You wouldn't have NATO if I didn't get involved in my first term. The war with Ukraine is an example.

German Order Restored: AfD politician Forces Antifa Mob to Clean Up After Attack — ‘First You Lick the German Flag Clean Again’

Left-wing violence has become a grim fact of life in Germany. Just yesterday, a suspected extremist attack on rail infrastructure brought Berlin’s southern railway line to a standstill.

Against this backdrop, a case from last year is now drawing renewed attention. The incident took place last year at the property of Philip Steinbeck, an AfD politician, who later published video footage of the confrontation on X.

Translated Video:

The events unfolded at Steinbeck’s clubhouse in Lübtheen, in northern Germany. According to Steinbeck, around 20 Antifa activists descended on the property, tore down the German flag from his front garden and attempted to intimidate those inside.

Instead of retreating, Steinbeck says he confronted the group and chased them off the premises. What followed stunned viewers: Steinbeck is seen forcing the attackers to clean the German flag they had vandalised, telling them, “First you lick the German flag clean again.” Moments later, the group fled.

When sharing the video on X, Steinbeck directly addressed platform owner Elon Musk, urging him to take note of what he described as politically motivated violence — and the way it is portrayed by German media.

Alongside the footage, Steinbeck wrote:

“German state media framed me as a bully.
THE TRUTH: I caught vandals desecrating the national flag on my property.
In the US, defending the flag makes you a patriot. In Germany, they try to cancel you.”

Germany’s public broadcaster NDR reacted with outrage — but not over the alleged attack itself. Coverage focused instead on the treatment of the Antifa activists, while the claim that a mob of around 20 people targeted a political opponent at his own property was largely sidelined.

NDR also reported that the teenagers involved had filed a criminal complaint against Steinbeck. The AfD politician disputes this, stating that the youths explicitly told him they had no intention of pressing charges.

The incident is further fuelled by NDR’s cooperation with the controversial propaganda network OCCRP, which has been linked to funding from USAID — a connection frequently criticised by conservative commentators for election manipulation.

For Steinbeck and his supporters, the case encapsulates what they see as a wider problem in Germany: far-left violence being minimised or ignored, while any robust response is immediately reframed as a scandal.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is now under federal scrutiny as House Republicans investigate how the far-left lawmaker and her family allegedly amassed millions of dollars in wealth while she served in Congress.

It can be recalled that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer dropped a bombshell, suggesting that far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar sits “at the top of the suspect list” in the sprawling Minnesota fraud scandals involving taxpayer-funded daycare and healthcare programs.

According to a new report from Fox News’ Jesse Watters and Kevin Cork, the House Oversight Committee is now probing how the Somali-born Congresswoman and her husband, Tim Mynett, managed to skyrocket from near-bankruptcy to a staggering net worth of roughly $30 MILLION in just one year.

More from Fox News:

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s net worth has swelled to as much as $30 million in just one year, her congressional financial disclosures reveal.

The 2025 disclosure, first reported by the Washington Free Beacon, shows that Omar and her husband, Tim Mynett, have a net worth ranging from $6 million to $30 million, despite claims earlier this year that she was “not a millionaire.” The vast majority of the wealth comes from Mynett’s two companies, a winery in California and a venture capital firm.

Disclosures from the end of 2023 showed that those ownership stakes were valued at just $51,000, and they grew little in 2024.

[…]

She hit back on claims about her personal wealth in February, encouraging critics to “try checking my public financial statements.”

Mynett’s firm, Rose Lake Capital, is valued between $5 million and $25 million according to the 2025 disclosure, while the winery, eStCru Wines, is valued between $1 million and $5 million.

During a Fox News segment, senior national correspondent Kevin Corke explained that Oversight investigators are probing Omar’s skyrocketing family wealth in the aftermath of the massive Somali social services fraud scandal that exploded in her Minnesota district.

It can be recalled that the $30 million venture capital firm run by Rep. Ilhan Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, has quietly removed the names and bios of its top officers and advisors from its website.

According to a bombshell report from the New York Post, Rose Lake Capital, founded by Mynett in 2022, scrubbed the details of nine key figures between September and October 2025.

Oversight Chairman James Comer confirmed his legal team is considering the extraordinary step of subpoenaing Omar’s husband over what lawmakers describe as deeply suspicious business activity.

Abrahamson melting down in the classroom, screaming political talking points, smearing ICE agents, and insulting a student who dared to challenge her narrative (Credit: Libs of Tiktok)

A jaw-dropping video making the rounds online shows a Minnesota high school teacher completely losing control after a student calmly pushed back on her anti-ICE rant, exposing, in real time, the radical political indoctrination happening in America’s classrooms.

The disturbing confrontation reportedly took place at Becker High School, where Dr. Heather Abrahamson, who has taught at Becker for 32 years and holds a Ph.D. in social studies curriculum, erupted during a heated exchange over the death of anti-ICE protester Renee Good, 37.

According to footage shared by Libs of TikTok, Abrahamson aggressively accused ICE of being “murderers” and claimed federal agent Jonathan Ross used unjustified deadly force.

“His move should have been to go like this if he was really afraid,” Abrahamson said, adding, “Your job as a police officer is to de-escalate.”

As the student explained that the agent had only a split second to react, Abrahamson repeatedly interrupted him, shutting down any dissent.

“No, he had — no. I’m not going to argue with you,” she snapped.

The student calmly responded:

“You’re arguing right now.”

That’s when things went completely off the rails.

Abrahamson screamed that the agent “was not in danger,” flailing her arms inches from the student’s face. Unfazed, the student delivered a line that instantly went viral:

“Just because you’re yelling doesn’t mean you’re winning the argument.”

Moments later, Abrahamson crossed an unforgivable line.

“Yeah, just because you’re alive doesn’t mean you’re intelligent,” she sneered.

The stunned student responded:

“Did you just call me stupid?”

Abrahamson coldly replied:

“Yeah.”

Other students could be heard reacting in disbelief.

“You just gonna take that, man? She just called you stupid,” one classmate said as the clip abruptly ended.

WATCH:

According to Libs of TikTok, Dr. Heather Abrahamson is not merely a frustrated teacher who lost her cool.

She is a left-wing political activist masquerading as an educator, with a long public record of ideological advocacy inside and outside the classroom.

Long before she verbally abused a student for defending law enforcement, Abrahamson publicly urged political activism against her own school district, accusing leaders of “silencing educators” and demanding social-media pressure campaigns against elected school board members.

In a July 2022 Facebook post, Abrahamson promoted what she called a “Becker social media kit,” instructing fellow teachers and supporters to flood Twitter and Facebook with activist messaging, tag the district, and use coordinated hashtags to pressure officials.

She framed school policy disagreements as violations of educators’ First Amendment rights and complained that Becker Schools were blocking lessons on race, gender, and civil rights, a familiar grievance from the radical education left.

Even more telling: Abrahamson’s Ph.D. dissertation topic.

According to Libs of TikTok, Abrahamson wrote a woke LGBTQ activist dissertation as part of her doctoral work at the University of Minnesota, titled: “The Lived Experiences of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Individuals in a Rural Midwestern School.”

This is the same teacher now lecturing students about ICE, screaming political opinions in class, and calling a teenage boy “unintelligent” for disagreeing with her narrative.

President Trump Signs HISTORIC Executive Order to Bring Back Mental Institutions and ‘Insane Asylums’ – “Hate to Build Those Suckers But You’ve Got to Get the People Off the Streets!”

After watching Democrat-run cities crumble into dysgenic cesspools of crime, homelessness, and open-air drug use for years, President Donald Trump is finally doing what needs to be done.

President Trump announced he has signed a historic Executive Order to bring back mental institutions and insane asylums to America.

No more “catch and release.” No more allowing dangerous, mentally unstable individuals to terrorize innocent families on the subway or set up encampments in front of our businesses.

Speaking to reporters in the White House briefing room to mark his first year back in office, Trump didn’t mince words about the sheer necessity of this move.

Trump:
“You’ve got to get rid of your sanctuary cities, and I hope our people know that we’re not going to pay sanctuary cities. We’re not going to pay them anymore.

They are sanctuaries for criminals. They hold criminals. We’re not going to pay. They can sue us and maybe they’ll win, but we’re not giving money to sanctuary cities anymore as of the beginning of the month.

We began the process of eliminating cashless bail. Well, cashless bail is where it all started. It’s a disaster. And then other places—I don’t know if it started in New York. I remember it starting in New York. Somebody comes in, murders somebody, and they let them out. No bail, no nothing. Basically, cashless bail means you just get the hell out. And they go outside.

We have one case where a guy murders somebody, gets released, and goes out and murders somebody—two people in one day. No, we’ve got to get rid of cashless bail. They’ve got to pay. You’ve got to have bail. There’s a reason for bail. Long tested.

I signed an executive order to bring back mental institutions and insane asylums. We’re going to have to bring them back. Hate to build those suckers, but you’ve got to get the people off the streets.”

WATCH:

For four years under the previous administration, we watched as the mental health crisis was ignored in the name of “equity.” They closed the hospitals, defunded the police, and let anarchy reign. Now, Trump is reversing the decay.
