President Trump on Tuesday made an appearance in the White House Press Briefing Room on the one-year anniversary of his inauguration, and he slammed the leftwing prosecutors who targeted him when Biden was in office while highlighting his success in his first year back in the White House.

The President kicked off the nearly two-hour-long press briefing with a more than one-hour-long speech recapping his administration’s success.

After showing illegal aliens’ mugshots and speaking about illegal immigration and the zero illegal aliens entering the United States for roughly 20 minutes, Trump began going down a list of accomplishments after showing the press, then tossing aside, an inches-thick stack of papers filled with highlights from the first year.

“I will read you a few,” Trump said before proceeding to speak for another hour about what he’s already done.

About an hour later, the President said he “Ended Joe Biden’s weaponization of our government and removed his hand-picked radical left Marxist prosecutors from the Department of Justice,” specifically pointing to the prosecutors that targeted him and ran election interference for the Biden Regime while he was running for President.

“Deranged Jack ‘Sick’ Smith,” he said, is “a sick son of a bitch.” He added, “He’s a sick guy.”

He then called out New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, referring to them as “sick people” and reminding America of how they targeted him.

“Nobody ever went through what I went through. But here I am in a place called the White House, it’s a beautiful place. Who would’ve thought?” he added.

Gunfire occurred in strife-torn Portland, Oregon, on Monday night as police launched a manhunt for the suspect that left two police officers wounded.

The shooting took place around 9:36 p.m., a statement from the city said.

“Two @PortlandPolice officers were shot in NE Portland as leftist and Antifa rioters occupied the ICE facility in south Portland. The officers’ conditions are not confirmed,” journalist Andy Ngo posted on X.

The two officers were listed in stable condition at a local hospital, Det. Jon Richardson said, according to ABC News.

Officers were sent to a location near Northeast 17th Avenue and Northeast Clackamas Street, where they encountered the individual, Richardson said, according to KGW-TV.

When officers made contact, they were shot.

“It was literally that brief of an encounter,” Richardson said.

Portland police issued an image and description of the suspect.

“The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his mid-30’s, facial hair, black baseball cap, black jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. He is believed to be armed with a knife and a handgun,” the police said.

“He also was seen with a black backpack and a green shopping bag. If anyone has information on the identity of this suspect or knows where he is now, please call 911. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached,” police said.

“This is a stark reminder of the dangers of the job, the jobs that our officers go out every day to serve and protect our community and we’re grateful for,” Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said, according to ABC News.

“We’re very concerned for the officers that were shot, we’re happy to hear that they are in stable condition and we wish them a speedy recovery and we send them our prayers,” Wilson added.

“Every time that we’ve spoken about critical incidents here in town, we always emphasize the sanctity of life, and that is certainly paramount for me tonight,” Portland Police Chief Bob Day Day said, according to KGW-TV. “Thinking of them, their families, thinking of the organization as a whole.”

Day did not disclose whether the officers returned fire.

Kiev nightmare.

That the nightly drone and missile combined strikes by Russia are taking a very heavy toll on Ukraine’s cities and villages, it is impossible to deny.

But now, things can get much worse for embattled citizens of the capital Kiev, already in the cold and dark.

Reports arose saying that all embassies in the Ukrainian capital have received a warning about an upcoming massive bombardment, leading to the highest level of danger – ‘red’ – being declared for them.

“All foreign diplomatic missions in the Ukrainian capital have been issued an urgent security warning about a potential large-scale Russian assault in the near future, according to multiple reports circulating on social media and pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels. The alert, first detailed in a post by the popular Telegram channel Ukraine Context and shared widely from Monday evening), states that embassies have activated the highest danger level – designated ‘red’ – in anticipation of a massive bombardment.

Diplomats and staff reportedly received standard emergency instructions: charge backup power sources, stockpile food, water, medicine and other essentials in preparation for possible disruptions. The message explicitly warns that the planned strike aims to plunge Kyiv into a prolonged blackout lasting 3–5 days, targeting the city’s energy infrastructure amid already severe winter conditions and ongoing power shortages caused by previous Russian attacks.”

Eurasia Daily reported:

“According to the standard procedure, employees of foreign diplomatic missions were given instructions on preparing for possible consequences (charging backup power supplies, preparing food, water, medicines, etc.),” the TC writes.

It is claimed that the attack will be aimed at plunging Kiev into a blackout for 3-5 days.

[Yesterday] (19), the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced the preparation of a new massive missile strike by Russia in an evening video message.”

While it is unclear if this information is real, and if the Russian tactic of isolating Kiev is a thing, there was indeed a pretty strong strike overnight in Kiev.

“[Ukraine] claims that a total of 339 long-range kamikaze drones (“Geran-2” and others), 18 ballistic missiles from the Iskander tactical missile system, 15 airborne Kh-101 cruise missiles, and 1 sea-based hypersonic Zircon missile were launched against targets in the country last night. The approximate geography of the attack is shown on the map.

The main strike was again carried out against targets in Kiev and the surrounding region. In the capital, there are emergency power outages, and almost the entire left-bank part of the city is without water. At the moment, damage to the energy infrastructure in the Rovne, Chernigov, Odessa, and Dnepropetrovsk regions, as well as a certain industrial enterprise in the Poltava region, has been reported.”

A dim-witted socialist running for LA Mayor had a meltdown during a wild interview on Monday before closing with one of the most embarrassing errors imaginable.

As The New York Post reported, Rae Huang, who is challenging Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in June’s Democratic Primary, had a radio interview with KNX News City Hall reporter Craig Fiegener to discuss her policies and the issues affecting LA. The Post obtained audio of the entire exchange.

Things got heated almost immediately when Huang started bragging about how Marxist policies, such as the “Overpaid CEO Tax, a proposed ballot measure that would shake down on highly paid and successful business executives, would finance housing development.

“We will be benefiting off of these CEO taxes,” Huang boasted. “We need to make sure that this money, from our CEOs, our billionaires, goes into housing, which we desperately need here in Los Angeles.”

Fiegener pressed her on how she would achieve this solution. Huang responded by suggesting she would defund the police.

“Our money is going into band-aid solutions,” Huang said. “One of them is, for example, the police.”

“The LAPD just doubled their staff without the city allow — without the city approval.”

Fiegener quickly pointed out that she had gotten her facts wrong. He noted that the city’s police department had not doubled but was tentatively seeking to add 240 officers.

But this proposal remains far from guaranteed, given the anti-cop attitude from many LA City council members.

The interview took an even spicier turn when Fiegener quizzed Huang on her qualifications to lead the City of Angels.

The socialist was not pleased that he dared to ask such a relevant question.

“I’m a neighbor here in Los Angeles. I’m a mother here in Los Angeles. I’m a community organizer here in Los Angeles,” Huang snapped. “I’ve been here for over 10 years organizing with our community members. That should be a résumé enough.”

Fiegener then laid out some of the pressing job requirements Huang would have to tackle if elected. This includes a $13 billion city budget and major departments such as the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

He asked Huang how she planned to take on such a responsibility. Her response was far from reassuring.

“I’m gonna do it. I’m excited to get started,” Huang replied before going on to compare herself to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Fiegener responded by pointing out that Mamdani at least had experience as a state assemblyman, which is not much but dwarfs anything Huang has.

Huang completely lost it at that moment.

“This is exactly the kind of pushback that we get from media people like yourself!” she snapped.

Then, Huang made a blunder that a little child could easily avoid. She somehow got her age wrong, saying she was 42 (her actual age is 43) as the segment concluded.

One could say that was a fitting conclusion to a humiliating performance.
