Minnesota Governor Tim Walz did not change his tone following his conversation with President Trump and their apparent agreement to scale back the number of immigration officers in Minneapolis.

Instead, he doubled down against Trump and exposed weakness from the White House while declaring that the radical left in Minnesota successfully pressured the White House and made them fold. It wouldn’t be this way if the Trump Administration had gone in with full force and actually quashed the insurrection and seditious conspiracy that was executed against the federal government.

Where was the FBI? Where was the IRS? Why haven’t any politicians been arrested for inciting violence against law enforcement, harboring illegal aliens, and impeding federal authorities?

In an interview that aired on Tuesday, Walz told the Bulwark podcast host Tim Miller that what he described as a “massive organized nonviolent resistance” forced the Trump Administration to back down, essentially declaring victory for the radical thugs rioting in the streets of Minnesota.

Tim Walz previously encouraged continued unrest and attacks on law enforcement, stating, “They think they can provoke us into abandoning our values. Well, they’re dead wrong.” He further declared that he is “creating a log of evidence for the future prosecution of ICE agents and officials, following the death of Alex Pretti, a leftist anti-ICE rioter who confronted ICE while armed with a loaded handgun and two fully loaded magazines.

“To be very clear, there’s a change in tone, and we’ll see. I’m going to meet here later today with Tom Homan,” he said, wishing Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino “good riddance.” He further attacked the Trump administration, labeling ICE as an “unorganized, untrained, dangerous force on the streets that has nothing to do with either immigration or law enforcement.”

“There’s a hint of hope and optimism, but there is a resolve that says, you know, the end of this is not Greg Bovino leaving,” Walz continued.

“The end of this is a sane policy on how you do immigration reform and stop an attack by the federal government on the state.”

WATCH:

Walz: We’re appreciative folks are out there. Look, I don’t know how to describe it, other than an assault. I’ve never witnessed anything like this, and I think as good as the reporting has been, it doesn’t touch just every little issue and our children watching people get drug. I mean, everyone here has a trauma response, you know, just pretty overwhelming. But I have to say, what you witnessed was, is what massive organized nonviolent resistance did.

To be very clear, there’s a change in tone, and we’ll see. I’m going to meet here later today with Tom Homan. I understand Greg Bovino is gone, you know, and that’s a good riddance, one. But it doesn’t change the fact that the posture is still the same, that this is a unorganized, untrained, dangerous force on the streets that has nothing to do with either immigration or law enforcement. So, I’ll tell you today, there’s there’s a bit of optimism, but there’s such a sense of resolve.

And I would say this is the Minnesota kind of attitude. A lot of folks think winter is over in March. Minnesotans don’t let their guard down ‘till May. And I’m telling you, these folks that are out there on the streets, they’re very skeptical, and rightfully so. So, the mood is, there’s a hint of hope and optimism, but there is a resolve that says, you know, the end of this is not Greg Bovino leaving. The end of this is a sane policy on how you do immigration reform and stop an attack by the federal government on the state.

Walz shared the clip on social media, commenting,

This doesn’t end with Greg Bovino.

This ends with impartial investigations, the departure of federal forces, and an end to the campaign of retribution against Minnesota.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump announced on Monday that he had conversations with Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and that they had agreed to comply with his administration to deport the criminal illegal aliens in Minneapolis.

Trump had announced earlier that Tom Homan would travel to Minnesota and take over ICE operations.

A speaker at a podium addresses an audience while a man gestures emphatically, creating a tense atmosphere during a public meeting.

How was this man able to get so close to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar?

A man charged at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar during a town hall on Tuesday evening and sprayed her with an unknown substance.

“DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign or face impeachment,” Omar said on Tuesday evening to applause.

A few seconds later, a man rushed up to the podium and sprayed Omar with a liquid.

The man shouted something as he was tackled and apprehended.

“Oh my God! He sprayed something on her!” a town hall attendee shouted.

Ilhan Omar insisted to her security that she continue her event.

“We will continue! This f*cking a**hole is not going to get away with it!” Ilhan Omar shouted.

“No! No! Ilhan, we need to go get checked out,” a person said to Omar.

“Whatever it is smells so bad! She needs to get checked! I don’t know what that was! It’s not about him, it’s about your safety! He sprayed something on you!”

Ilhan Omar’s bodyguard tried to get her to leave, but she pushed back on him.

“Just give me 10 minutes. I beg of you,” Omar said to security.

Omar rebuffed the requests of her team to leave and went back to demanding that Kristi Noem resign.

President Trump delivers remarks in Clive, Iowa – January 27, 2025

President Trump announced on Tuesday that agriculture and construction machinery manufacturer John Deere is building a $70 million factory in North Carolina, moving its construction of excavators from Japan to the United States.

John Deere is also building a distribution center in Hebron, Indiana, according to a press release from the company.

“In keeping with our strong tradition of building America, we are excited to announce plans to open two new U.S.-based facilities: a state-of-the-art distribution center near Hebron, Indiana, and a cutting-edge excavator factory in Kernersville, North Carolina, both set to open in the next year,” the company said.

Each project is expected to employ 150 Americans.

Trump announced the “historic investment” while speaking at a rally on the economy and affordability in Clive, Iowa.

“John Deere is doing $70 million in factory in North Carolina,” the President said, describing John Deere as a “great American company.”

“It’s brand new, the best in the world, and I think it’s going to pay off very, very big,” he said. “It’s going to be the only excavator factory.”

Trump continued, “In other words, excavators– we all know, I love those excavators– believe it or not, I know a lot about them. We don’t make them here. This is going to be the only excavator entirely made in the United States of America.”

WATCH:

Trump: And today, I’m pleased to announce one more historic investment. The great American company that we just talked about is doing so much. I have to give, I have to give it really, I’d buy so much equipment from so many of the people in the— you know, we have a lot of very successful companies in here, but I know it’s a very, a very special deal, because John Deere is doing $70 million in factory in North Carolina.

It’s brand new, the best in the world, and I think it’s going to pay off very, very big. And if it doesn’t, I have nothing to do with it, but if it does, I’m going to take, I’m going to take full credit.

But what it is is an excavator factory, as I understand it, and it’s going to be the only excavator factory. In other words, excavators– we all know, I love those excavators– believe it or not, I know a lot about them. We don’t make them here. This is going to be the only excavator entirely made in the United States of America.

Minnesota Governor and failed Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, in an interview that aired on Tuesday, apologized for his terrible debate performance against Vice President JD Vance in 2024, claiming he would “beat the sh*t out of him now if I could.”

“I would beat the sh*t out of him now if I could, and I would call that out!” Walz stammered after making excuses and admitting failure with his 2024 debate performance during an interview with Tim Miller on the Bulwark podcast.

During their first debate in October 2024, Walz said, “It was strange to me to be in the presence of someone, who I couldn’t see a tell on him when he lied,” and “I’m a terrible liar.”

The Gateway Pundit reported on Walz’s awkward blunders, including one where he called himself a knucklehead when asked why he lied about being in China during the Tiananmen Square massacre.

Walz also claimed that he’s “become friends with school shooters”— TWICE?

It was a disaster for Tim Walz. Not even the rest of the liberal moderators’ biased questions and fact-checks against Vance could save him.

But Walz now says he’s ready for a debate and would “beat the sh*t out of” Vance.

Perhaps we’ll see Walz throw his hat in the ring in 2028.

WATCH:

Miller: Particularly with JD Vance, you had to be on the debate stage with him. He’s the current Vice President. He shared a Stephen Miller Post this week calling Alex Pretti an assassin. He came to your state and lied about your law enforcement. You’ve got to look back about being on the debate stage with him and thinking, Man, you really maybe gave this person too much of the benefit of the doubt and were a little bit, you know, the part the assuming good faith was maybe a mistake with JD, Vance.

Walz: I’ll own it, but Tim, you’ve been around this long enough to know when you’re on a ticket, you take your orders. Look, I have agency on that, meaning I could have did this. But I am a good team player. And I will say this, I never kidded anybody about debates. I don’t like, get like, joy out of like, beating someone in this or whatever. And I said, the worst people, I think, in debates are teachers, where I try to find reconciliation. And I think he was well prepped. It was strange to me to be in the presence of someone, who I couldn’t see a tell on him when he lied. It was so— usually you can see it like with me, I’m like, Oh, I’m a terrible liar. I can’t, I’m a terrible poker player. And so I think the whole idea was, there is that— look, again, when they fact checked it, I think he had 38 misstatements. They said I had two. One of them was that Trump doesn’t pay taxes. I’ll stand by that.

But yes, I do, in retrospect, wise, I don’t know. And you and I both know this. How much does a vice presidential debate matter in this? But I live with it, because, look, don’t think I don’t. And I’ve said this before. I own this. I started talking about it in January, and I was out there, and I got some criticism about this. People asked me, What would you have done differently? Well, we would have won. And we didn’t, which means you do own some of that. I can’t just blame it all, you know, the electorate didn’t get it. There were things that weren’t there, and so part of that was me, but I know who I am. I’m really effective, and was really effective as a member of Congress because I was one of the more bipartisan members. So, this idea that I am more than willing to reach to find compromise, and I do see this as servant leadership, and I don’t see it as a sense of power. He was, he was good at that. And, I mean, it was— He’s smooth. I never claimed to do that, but I’m pretty effective, but I’ll take the criticism.

I would beat the sh*t out of him now if I could, and I would call that out! I mean, that’s just different. In verbally going at it. I could— my argument is much better. He’s making the case that housing prices are up because of immigration and that we should build on federal lands. It was such a crazy thing. But then when I watched him, I got sucked into that. If you remember, this was right in that moment of eating dogs and cats. I took that bait and thought that that was the argument of how outrageous it was. That was not the argument.

New Details About Fatal Shooting of Alex Pretti Emerges – Two Agents Discharged Weapons

New Details About Fatal Shooting of Alex Pretti Emerges – Two Agents Discharged Weapons

New Details About Fatal Shooting of Alex Pretti Emerges – Two Agents Discharged Weapons
January 27, 2026

A group of individuals engaged in a physical altercation on a street, with nearby vehicles and storefronts visible in the background.

New details about the fatal shooting Alex Pretti have emerged.

37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti of South Minneapolis appeared to resist arrest and attack federal law enforcement agents before he was fatally shot over the weekend.

A new government report sent to Congress reveals two DHS agents discharged their weapons during a struggle as Pretti resisted arrest.

CBP agents tried to take Pretti into custody after he refused to move out of the way, but a struggle ensued and he was shot multiple times.

“Pretti resisted CBP personnel’s efforts and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a BPA yelled, ‘He’s got a gun!’ multiple times,” the report said, according to CBS News.

“Approximately five seconds later, a [Border Patrol agent] discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a [CBP officer] also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti. After the shooting, a BPA advised he had possession of Pretti’s firearm,” CBP added in the report. “The BPA subsequently cleared and secured Pretti’s firearm in his vehicle.”

CBS News reported:

Two U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents fired their weapons during the fatal shooting of Minneapolis ICU nurse Alex Pretti over the weekend, according to a government report sent to Congress and obtained by CBS News that does not mention Pretti reaching for his firearm.

The report was shared with congressional officials Tuesday by CBP, which said it was based on a “preliminary review” by its Office of Professional Responsibility. It provides the most comprehensive official account yet of Pretti’s killing, which has triggered widespread outcry from members of both parties.

According to the report to Congress, CBP agents were conducting an operation in Minneapolis on Saturday morning when an officer was “confronted by two female civilians blowing whistles.” The officer ordered the women to “move out of the roadway,” the report said. That’s when CBP agents first encountered Pretti.

According to CNN, Pretti broke a rib after getting tackled by agents as he attempted to impede an immigration operation just one week before his death.

Department of Homeland Security agents had their body cameras on during the confrontation and fatal shooting of leftist armed agitator Alex Pretti.

“Investigators are reviewing body-camera videos from immigration agents in the fatal shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed to NBC News,” NBC News reported.
