This perhaps should not come as a surprise, but professors at Yale University disproportionately donate to Democrat campaigns.  This is according to an analysis performed by Yale Daily News and reported by Campus Reform.

According to the analysis, 97.6 percent of the 1,099 political donations from the 2025 election cycle went to Democrats, according to Federal Election Commission data.

Zero donations went to Republicans.

Yale claims that their hiring process occurs “independent of political views”, according to Campus Reform.  However, 82.3 percent of the 1,666 faculty support Democrats with only 2.3 percent supporting Republicans.

How does a hiring process that is “independent of political views” skew the numbers so drastically in favor of a specific ideology?

Yale Daily News wrote:

Carlos Eire, a history and religious studies professor who described himself as “a conservative in the traditional mold,” expressed pessimism about this imbalance.

“It’s true, there is very very, very little intellectual diversity at Yale and at most institutions of higher learning when it comes to politics,” Eire wrote in an email to the News. “Academics in the US, Canada and Europe have been leaning left for the past three or four generations. And this is something that shows no signs of being corrected or correcting itself anytime soon.”

The presence of the Buckley Institute and right-leaning parties in the Yale Political Union, Eire added, indicates that “there is less of a drastic imbalance among undergraduate students than among faculty.”

Yale Daily News also interviewed Steven Smith, a political science professor, who called this “old news” and said that, “Generally across the culture, not just in universities, on the whole, in the country, educated people vote Democrat.”

“Are we going to ask people [in] a job interview what candidates they support and who they give money to as a criterion for hiring them?  I mean, are you serious?” Smith told Yale Daily News.

According to Pew Research, voters with a “college degree” vote 51% Democrat and 46% Republican.  That gap expands to 61% Democrat and 37% Republican.

It seems something is afoul with the hiring process to skew entirely in one political direction compared to the rest of the nation, even in the demographic that Smith cites.  This is nowhere near the composition of professors teaching at Yale, where the ratio of representation is 36:1 in favor of Democrats, according to Campus Reform.

Against the background of increased Russian activity in the Arctic and the controversy over the US interest in the island of Greenland, the United Kingdom and Norway signed back in early December a military agreement known as the Lunna House Agreement.

Ostensibly, the two NATO allies focus on countering increased Russian threats in the North Atlantic and High North – but it’s not a coincidence that this is happening right after Donald J. Trump said that the US ‘has to have Greenland’.

The Lunna House deal provides for closer integration of forces, greater British military presence in Norway, and year-round Royal Marines operations in the Arctic.

And it’s being implemented fast, as 150 Royal Marines have already been deployed in Norway as part of the new agreement.

“Taunton’s 40 Commando arrived in Norway’s Camp Viking last week for the first time since 2020 as part of the long-standing commitment to cold weather warfare.

It comes against the backdrop of the Lunna House Agreement, which was signed in December. The deal is designed to protect undersea cables – which are increasingly under threat from Moscow, according to the Ministry of Defense (MoD).”

“The 40 Commando will operate from allied ships and landing craft, training to be ready for potential combat in the one of the world’s most inhospitable environments.

[…] The MoD reported a 30% increase in Russian vessels threatening UK waters in the past two years, which prompted the new agreement. The UK Commando Force established an operations hub – known as Camp Viking – in 2023, located in the village of Øverbygd.”

Former National Security Council official and impeachment liar Alexander Vindman crawled out of his hole to announce a bid for US Senate in Florida on an anti-Trump platform. 

Vindman was a key witness in Trump’s first impeachment trial back in 2019.

However, he was repeatedly caught lying during his testimony before Congress, which made him a hero among Democrats.

He announced his retirement from public service the following year.

Now, he’s coming back with a vengeance to get President Trump, announcing his candidacy for Florida Senator against Republican incumbent Ashley Moody.

Ironically, he uses footage from his impeachment testimony, highlighting the oath he took “to tell the truth about a president who broke his.” But Vindman’s then-boss, Tim Morrison, a senior national security aide and Russian expert, testified that there were “concerns” about Vindman’s judgment and that he was likely leaking the documents at the center of the first Trump impeachment. Vindman was further busted for lying about “reporting to chain of command” despite going around Tim Morrison’s back and straight to NSC lawyers.

The disgraced former NSC official has openly admitted he’s “absolutely” a Never-Trumper and said Trump is a “useful idiot” for Vlad Putin. Clearly, his attempt to have Trump impeached came from a personal hatred for the President.

In his campaign video, Vindman further attacks ICE as a “thug militia” and accuses the Trump administration of “attacking citizens,” while playing footage of Alex Pretti and Renee Good being shot by federal agents while violently impeding immigration operations.

Vindman and the Democrats are going to try to impeach Trump again if they take the majority in Congress.

Zelensky must surrender the Donetsk territory now, lest he be forced to surrender the whole country later.

By now, everyone knows Donald J. Trump’s opinion of Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky, perfectly summarized in this recent post: Trump Reportedly Says Ukraine’s Zelensky, and Not Russia’s Putin, Is Holding up the Peace Deal: REUTERS.

The fundamentals on the ground are: Russia is winning, Ukraine is losing badly. Those who win make the demands, those who lose have to meet them.

In Anchorage, Alaska, the Russians made a concession while reaffirming a demand: while they are willing to ‘freeze’ the 1,000-mile frontline across all regions in the north and south, they still insist that Ukrainian troops withdraw their troops from remaining Donetsk region territory still held by them.

(Previously, Russian conditions demanded Kiev withdraw from Zaporozhie and Kherson regions, too.)

This demand has nothing absurd about it: the freedom of the Russian-speaking majorities in Donetsk and Luhansk was one of the top objectives of the war.

The calls for Zelensky to accept the peace conditions multiply.

Now, reports arise that the Trump administration has let Ukraine know that US security guarantees will only happen after Kiev agrees to the peace deal and relinquishes the Donetsk region to Russia.

Reuters reported:

“Washington has also indicated it could offer Ukraine more weapons to strengthen its peacetime army if Kyiv agreed to withdraw forces from the parts of the eastern region it controls, the newspaper said.

[…] Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that a U.S. document on security guarantees for Ukraine was ‘100% ready’ and Kyiv is now awaiting a time and place for it to be signed.

Zelenskiy has consistently said that Ukraine’s territorial integrity must be upheld in any peace deal to end the war.”

“My position on our territories remains unchanged. Ukraine will not give up its territories, we need to find a compromise” – Zelensky.

Joe Biden crawled out of his hole on Tuesday to bash the Trump Administration over the two fatal ICE-involved shootings in Minneapolis.

Biden accused the Trump Administration of trampling on 4th Amendment rights and gunning down citizens for exercising their constitutional rights.

ICE agents have warrants to enter homes and arrest criminal illegal aliens.

“What has unfolded in Minneapolis this past month betrays our most basic values as Americans. We are not a nation that guns down our citizens in the street. We are not a nation that allows our citizens to be brutalized for exercising their constitutional rights. We are not a nation that tramples the 4th Amendment and tolerates our neighbors being terrorized,” Joe Biden (or a drunk aide) said.

“The people of Minnesota have stood strong — helping community members in unimaginable circumstances, speaking out against injustice when they see it, and holding our government accountable to the people. Minnesotans have reminded us all what it is to be American, and they have suffered enough at the hands of this Administration. Violence and terror have no place in the United States of America, especially when it’s our own government targeting American citizens,” Biden said.

“No single person can destroy what America stands for and believes in, not even a President, if we — all of America — stand up and speak out. We know who we are. It’s time to show the world. More importantly, it’s time to show ourselves,” Biden said.

Biden called for investigations into the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti – two Americans citizens who were fatally shot by ICE agents.

“Now, justice requires full, fair, and transparent investigations into the deaths of the two Americans who lost their lives in the city they called home. Jill and I are sending strength to the families and communities who love Alex Pretti and Renee Good as we all mourn their senseless deaths,” he said.

Renee Good was fatally shot by an ICE agent earlier this month after she tried to run him over during an immigration operation.

Far-left armed agitator Alex Pretti was fatally shot by a DHS agent last weekend after he impeded an arrest and got into a fight with federal agents.

37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti of South Minneapolis appeared to resist arrest and attack federal law enforcement agents before he was fatally shot.

Pretti was armed with a Sig Sauer P320 pistol and had two additional full magazines.

Alex Pretti reportedly did not notify law enforcement officers that he was armed.

The Trump Administration is investigating Pretti’s death.
