DEVELOPING: Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino to Leave Minnesota

Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino and some federal immigration agents will leave Minnesota soon.

Fox News, CNN, AP and CBS reported that Bovino will leave the Minneapolis area by Tuesday.

CBS News reported that Bovino will head back to his post in California’s El Centro sector.

“Outspoken Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino and some of his green-uniformed agents are expected to soon leave the Minneapolis area, three sources familiar with the move tell CBS News,” the outlet reported.

“One of the sources said Bovino was relieved of his command in Minneapolis and is expected to return to California’s El Centro sector, where he served as the chief agent before the Trump administration deployed him to major American cities, including Los Angeles and Chicago,” CBS reported.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Bovino will be leaving Minnesota.

“Mr. Bovino is a wonderful man, and he’s a great professional. He is going to very much continue to lead Customs and Border Patrol throughout and across the country. Mr. Homan will be the main point of contact on the ground in Minneapolis,” Leavitt told reporters on Monday.

WATCH:

Earlier Monday President Trump announced that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called him and agreed to work with federal law enforcement.

Trump said he would be sending Border Czar Tom Homan to Minnesota.

“Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength,” Trump said.

“I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future,” Trump said.

“He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I! We have had such tremendous SUCCESS in Washington, D.C., Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana, and virtually every other place that we have “touched” and, even in Minnesota, Crime is way down, but both Governor Walz and I want to make it better! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP” Trump said.

Kris Mayes claims Republicans and right-wing media misrepresented calls for violence against ICE in damage control statement

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes released a video statement on Sunday, attempting to walk back recent comments, where she told her radical left voters they have the right to shoot and kill masked ICE agents in Arizona.

“We’re a gun culture in this state,” Mayes said in a televised interview. “You have these masked Federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes and masks. And we have a stand your ground law that says that if you reasonably believe that your life is in danger, and you’re in your house or your car or on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”

“You’re not allowed to shoot peace officers,” she said. “But how do you know they’re a peace officer?”

Mayes further presented a possible legal defense for anyone who shoots an ICE agent, telling 12 News’s Brahm Resnik, “It becomes, did they reasonably know that they were a peace officer?”

But you can’t trust your own lyin’ ears, Mayes says.

“Despite how right-wing media has mischaracterized recent comments I made about ICE and the danger its actions pose to public safety, the idea that I would want the life of any member of law enforcement put in danger is wrong, it’s offensive, and it is an outright lie,” Mayes claimed in a statement slamming Republicans for twisting her words.

She further attacked ICE agents, accusing them of “increasingly chaotic and dangerous activity” and “destroying the public’s trust in law enforcement and putting every American, including local law enforcement, in danger.”

“Arizonans do not want masked agents entering their homes without warrants. It is un-American, and threatens the rights and safety of everyone in our state,” she added without explaining her previous statements or noting that masked ICE agents are easily identifiable by badges and vests with their agency’s name printed in big, bold letters.

She couldn’t even film the clip in one take.

Transcript:

I want to speak directly to Arizona law enforcement and reiterate my support and appreciation for the work you do every day to keep our state and its people safe.

I have seen firsthand as your attorney general the dedication and commitment that you bring to a job that is inherently dangerous. You will always have my full support.

Despite how right-wing media has mischaracterized recent comments I made about ICE and the danger its actions pose to public safety, the idea that I would want the life of any member of law enforcement put in danger is wrong, it’s offensive, and it is an outright lie. Danger to law enforcement is the very thing I want to avoid in Arizona.

But I will not be deterred from speaking out and criticizing the Trump administration for its ongoing abuses of power and its trashing of our sacred Constitution, which I took an oath to uphold, an oath that I take seriously with every ounce of my being.

And I will not accept the hypocrisy from Republican legislators and candidates for office who have twisted my words but remained silent after Donald Trump pardoned the rioters who assaulted and beat capitol police officers on January 6th, 2021.

Arizonans do not want masked agents entering their homes without warrants. It is un-American, and threatens the rights and safety of everyone in our state.

But we have all witnessed the increasingly chaotic and dangerous activity of ICE agents in cities across the country.

And this month, two Americans, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, have been killed at the hands of federal agents in Minneapolis. The federal government has also become openly hostile to state and local law enforcement organizations in Minnesota attempting to keep their state safe.

Because of what is happening in this country, I have become increasingly concerned for the safety of Arizonans and state and local law enforcement if the Trump administration surges a large number of poorly trained agents to our state.

ICE’s behavior is destroying the public’s trust in law enforcement and putting every American, including local law enforcement, in danger. It will take years if not decades to undo the damage that has been done over the past twelve months.

The Trump administration must stop this chaos and destruction and pull this country back from the brink.

I will always stand in support of Arizona’s sheriffs and police departments, and my office will continue to work with our state, local, and tribal partners to keep Arizona safe and peaceful. I urge the Trump administration to do the same.

And as long as I am Arizona’s attorney general, I will never waver in my defense of the United States Constitution and the rights that it guarantees the people of this great nation. Thank you, God bless Arizona, and God bless America.

A male nurse in Florida will likely lose his job after posting that he will refuse to treat supporters of President Trump.

On Sunday, an anesthesiologist named Erik Martindale sparked a social media uproar after posting on his Facebook account that he would let MAGA supporters suffer and refuse to perform any anesthesia on MAGA clients.

In other words, he is saying he will refuse to do his job because he does not like their politics.

Martindale claimed he had every right to do so because he owns all of his businesses and it’s his “ethical oath.”

“I will not perform anesthesia for any surgeries or procedures for MAGA,” Martindale wrote in the now-deleted Facebook post. “It is my right, it is my ethical oath, and I stand behind my education.”

“I own all of my businesses, and I can refuse anyone!”

LOOK:

After being called out on social media for his vow to break his Hippocratic oath, Martindale deleted the post and claimed he had been hacked.

Martindale did not explain why anyone would bother targeting him. especially considering no one knew who he was before the post.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier responded to Martindale’s disgusting comment on not treating MAGA Republicans by paging the Florida Nursing Board, likely to urge them to cancel Martindale’s license.

“Here we go again…Paging @FLNursingBoard!” Uthmeier wrote.

This incident bears similarities to one involving a previous nurse in Florida last week.

Lexie Lawler, a labor and delivery nurse at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital, graphically wished that Leavitt suffer traumatic injuries during childbirth.

“I hope you f**king rip from bow to stern and never sh*t normally again, you c**t,” she said.

She was later fired following her remarks.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey

President Trump on Monday said he had a “very good telephone conversation” with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, following his earlier conversation with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump announced earlier that he spoke with Tim Walz and that Walz had agreed to work with his administration, amid the chaos and rioting in Minnesota.

This announcement came hours after Trump said he said Tom Homan will travel to Minnesota tonight.

JUST IN: Trump Says Tim Walz Called Him Ahead of Tom Homan’s Visit to Minneapolis – “It was a Very Good Call, and We, Actually, Seemed to be on a Similar Wavelength”

Per CNN, Tim Walz described the call as "productive" in a statement.

Walz's office said that Trump agreed "that he would talk to his Department of Homeland Security about ensuring the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is able to conduct an independent investigation" into the death of Alex Pretti on Saturday. Walz's office further claimed that Trump agreed to "reduce the number of federal agents in Minnesota.

However, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, during a press briefing afterward, said the President "did not make a commitment" regarding an investigation, while noting that "There are investigations into what took place on Saturday."

She added, "Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI have teamed up for an investigation, and there's also an internal CBP investigation, an internal review of what is happening on the ground in Minnesota. The president supports those investigations, and as I've said repeatedly, he wants to see them move forward."

Trump later announced on Truth Social that he spoke to Jacob Frey, the radical left Mayor of Minneapolis, who previously told ICE to “get the f*ck out of Minneapolis.”

"Lots of progress is being made!" Trump said. "Tom Homan will be meeting with him tomorrow in order to continue the discussion."

I just had a very good telephone conversation with Mayor Jacob Frey, of Minneapolis. Lots of progress is being made! Tom Homan will be meeting with him tomorrow in order to continue the discussion. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

This is a developing story.
