A federal judge on Friday ordered the release of two Minnesota church protestors.
US District Judge Laura Provinzino, a Biden appointee, said the protestors, Nekima Armstrong and Chauntyll Allen, are not a serious flight risk.
The judge set release conditions:
Condition (7)(d) requires defendants to surrender any passport, Visa, Advanced Parole Document, Refugee Travel Permit/Reentry Document, or other foreign travel document.
Condition (7)(e) requires that defendants not obtain a passport, Visa, Advanced Parole Document, Refugee Travel Permit/Reentry Document, or other foreign travel document.
The FBI arrested BLM activist Nekima Armstrong on Thursday morning for her role in storming Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday.
Armstrong was charged with Conspiracy Against Rights, a federal crime that carries up to ten years in prison.
“Homeland Security Investigators and FBI agents arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong who played a key role in orchestrating the Church Riots in St. Paul, Minnesota,” DHS Chief Noem said.
“She is being charged with a federal crime under 18 USC 241,” Noem said.
“Religious freedom is the bedrock of the United States – there is no first amendment right to obstruct someone from practicing their religion,” she added.
Homeland Security Investigators and FBI agents arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong who played a key role in orchestrating the Church Riots in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She is being charged with a federal crime under 18 USC 241.
The FBI arrested a third church protestor, William Kelly, and charged him with two federal counts.
The Justice Department is currently working to arrest and charge former CNN host Don Lemon and several other defendants after a magistrate judge refused to sign off on the complaint.

Eastern Europe has spent the past year or so watching the democratic process erode, and nowhere has that anxiety been more acute than in Romania. When President Donald Trump spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos days ago, his words hit hardest among Romanians still reeling from a canceled presidential election. For Romanians, Trump’s message felt more like recognition than they did rhetoric.
Romania’s political crisis dates back to December 2024, when authorities abruptly called off the second round of the presidential election. The move stunned the public and left the country in a state of unresolved political limbo. What officials described as a procedural necessity has been widely perceived by voters as an elite intervention to stop an unwanted outcome.
Independent candidate Calin Georgescu, after a blowout victory in the presidential election’s first round, had surged ahead and was widely expected to win. Instead, the electoral process was frozen under opaque circumstances, effectively nullifying millions of votes and cancelling democracy. For many Romanians, the episode looked like a slow-motion coup carried out through institutions.
It was against this backdrop that Trump’s speech in Davos reverberated across Eastern Europe. When he warned that those who rig elections would face prosecution, Romanians heard a direct acknowledgment of their own experience. The statement cut through months of official silence and international indifference.
“We need free, fair elections and an equidistant press,” Trump said, framing election integrity as a non-negotiable foundation of sovereignty and national democracy. Though delivered in Switzerland, the line resonated powerfully in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, and even beyond. It challenged a system that treats democracy as conditional on results acceptable to an increasingly unpopular and illegitimate—at home and abroad— liberal-globalist elite.

Trump explicitly tied electoral manipulation to national instability, drawing on parallels familiar to Americans since 2020. “You can’t have rigged elections,” he said, underscoring that when institutions override voters, democracy becomes a performance rather than a governing principle. For Romanian observers, the implication was unmistakable.
The speech framed Romania not as an isolated case but as part of a wider pattern. Trump suggested that election interference—often justified in the name of “stability,” “values,” or “security”—ultimately destroys public trust. In this view, Romania serves as a stark warning to those still in favor of upholding the national democratic process.
In Romania, the political fallout continues to deepen. Călin Georgescu, the clear first-round winner of the annulled 2024 presidential election, has formally challenged the country’s ruling establishment to submit its justification for canceling the vote to independent international review. Rejecting Brussels-aligned narratives, Georgescu, as The Gateway Pundit has previously reported, has called on the United States and Israel to independently examine the claims used to overturn what many Romanians believe was a free and fair election—an appeal that underscores the growing demand for external scrutiny as trust in domestic institutions collapses.
Trump’s remarks also carried a pointed critique of supranational bodies and NGOs that insert themselves into domestic politics. These same actors, Trump implied, frequently lecture nations about democratic norms while quietly undermining them when outcomes threaten entrenched power. That hypocrisy has become increasingly visible in Eastern Europe.
Only secondarily did Trump turn his attention to the Davos audience itself. The World Economic Forum has long functioned as a sanctuary for the global managerial class, a place where elites reassure one another that history is still bending their way. In 2026, that sense of inevitability was shaken.
Trump did not flatter global institutions or endorse globalist technocratic consensus. Instead, he challenged the legitimacy of a system that polices elections selectively.
He returned repeatedly to political fundamentals Davos tends to dismiss as outdated. “Strong borders, strong elections, and ideally, a good press,” Trump argued, are inseparable from self-government. Without them, sovereignty becomes a mere illusion.
The reference to the press was also deliberate. Across much of the West, media institutions increasingly function as ideological enforcers rather than neutral arbiters. Trump’s call for an “equidistant press” challenged the assumption that narrative management—and even outright suppression—is compatible with democracy.
Davos elites thrive on managed outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and top-down solutions. Trump was speaking the language of consent, accountability, and consequences—ideas that unsettle entrenched, bureaucratic power.
Outside Davos, particularly in Eastern Europe, the reaction was markedly different. For citizens who have watched elections delayed, annulled, or delegitimized, Trump’s words are a long-overdue validation. Someone was finally articulating what so many had already concluded—often in silence.
Romania’s canceled election is perhaps the clearest example of elite distrust in voters. Stopping an election to prevent an undesired result, Trump’s remarks implied, is pure democratic negation.
Trump also made clear that election integrity cannot be separated from national independence. When transnational pressure, ideological courts, or external actors dictate outcomes, nations inevitably lose the ability to chart their own destiny. That loss, Trump seemed to imply, lies at the heart of today’s unrest.
Davos has long styled itself as the guardian of global order. In 2026, it was forced to confront the consequences of that order’s failures. The language of inevitability rang hollow in a world where public revolt is spreading.
Trump offered no technocratic fixes or multilateral frameworks. What he offered instead was enforcement—prosecution, accountability, and consequences. Those words aren’t heard often elite forums, but they hold great significance where democracy has been effectively abolished.
California Man Arrested For Stealing $23 Million in Taxpayer Money From Program Intended to Combat Homelessness

A Los Angeles man was arrested for stealing $23 million in taxpayer money from a program intended to combat homelessness.
According to federal prosecutors, Alexander Soofer, 42, executive director of Abundant Blessings, was charged with wire fraud
Between 2018 and 2025, Soofer pocketed millions of dollars and used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle.
He used the stolen funds to purchase a $7 million home, a Range Rover, send his children to private school and buy other luxury items.
“California is the poster child of rampant fraud, waste, and abuse of tax dollars,” said First Assistant United States Attorney Bill Essayli. “The state has facilitated the spending of billions of dollars to combat homelessness, with little to show for it and almost no oversight. Thankfully, the federal government has begun auditing California’s spending and today’s is just one example of how fraudsters have swindled millions of dollars from tax papers. This money should have gone to those in need, instead in lines the pockets of individuals subsidizing their lavish lifestyle.”

Alexander Soofer, 42, of Westwood, the executive director of the charity Abundant Blessings, was arrested this morning on a federal criminal complaint charging him with wire fraud — a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison.
Soofer is accused of lining his pockets with millions of taxpayer dollars intended to combat the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles. Instead, he allegedly used the money to purchase a $7 million home, took luxury trips across the United States, and paid for his children’s private school tuition, among other luxury items.

For too long, California has left the spigot of taxpayer dollars on and has not provided anywhere near enough oversight of how the money is being spent.

At World Economic Forum, Trump Administration Calls Out Europe for Globalism, Socialism, and Open Borders

President Trump, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and several other anti-globalist advocates of freedom criticized Europe at the 2026 World Economic Forum in Davos.
In true Trumpian fashion, President Trump opened his speech at the Davos World Economic Forum by saying it was a pleasure “to address so many respected business leaders, so many friends, a few enemies.” He told those assembled that he had just marked the one-year anniversary of his second term in office and said the U.S. economy was roaring. According to Trump, it is “exploding, productivity is surging, investment is soaring, incomes are rising, inflation has been defeated.”
He added that foreign direct investment is eighteen times higher than it was under Biden, GDP growth is set to double IMF projections, and the border is now secure. Trump also highlighted a clear departure from socialism, noting that “we’ve lifted more than 1.2 million people off of food stamps.”
Later in the speech, he said the United States had “removed over 270,000 bureaucrats from the federal payrolls, the largest single-year reduction in government employment since the end of World War Two.” He added that his administration had slashed the federal budget by $100 billion and reduced the federal budget deficit by 27 percent. Together, these figures signaled a return to free-market capitalism and renewed private-sector growth, while Europe, by contrast, continues to move in the opposite direction.
Without explicitly saying so, President Trump suggested that none of this could be said about Europe. He said that parts of the continent had become unrecognizable, but in a negative way. “And I love Europe, and I want to see Europe go good, but it’s not heading in the right direction,” he said. Trump attributed Europe’s decline to increased socialism and globalization. In Washington and Europe, he argued, conventional wisdom had taken hold that “the only way to grow a modern Western economy was through ever-increasing government spending, unchecked mass migration, and endless foreign imports.”
The result of these destructive policies, he said, was record budget and trade deficits and a growing sovereignty deficit, “driven by the largest wave of mass migration in human history.” “We’ve never seen anything like it,” he exclaimed. “Quite frankly, many parts of our world are being destroyed before our very eyes.”
Trump added that some leaders appeared baffled by what was happening and did not understand how it occurred, while others did understand but failed to act. “And the ones that do understand aren’t doing anything about it,” he said.
When it was his turn to speak, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick told the Forum, on behalf of the Trump administration, “we are here to make a very clear point. Globalization has failed the West and the United States of America.” He went on to explain that it failed through a policy of offshoring, which he described as “find the cheapest labor in the world, and the world is a better place for it.” However, he said this approach has made America and the West weaker and has failed American workers.
“You shouldn’t offshore your medicine. You shouldn’t offshore your semiconductors,” he warned. “You shouldn’t offshore your entire industrial base and have it be hollowed out beneath you.” He went on to argue that this erosion of manufacturing capacity makes both Europe and the United States dangerously dependent.
Addressing Europe’s climate policies, he said, “Why would you agree to be net zero in 2030 when they don’t make a battery?” He noted that net-zero targets rely heavily on rechargeable electric vehicles and appliances, all of which depend on batteries. “So if they go to 2030,” he said, “they are deciding to be subservient to China, who makes the batteries.”
Americans were not the only ones criticizing Europe’s destructive globalist agenda. Argentine President Javier Milei, an Austrian economist often described as the Trump of South America, reminded Europe that personal liberty was a core principle that had long separated the West from the rest of the world and made it wealthier and more prosperous. In recent years, however, he said “the West began to turn its back on the ideas of liberty.”
Milei reminded the World Economic Forum that he had warned them in 2024 and again in 2025 that “the West was in danger as a result of having embraced increasing doses of socialism in its bourgeois democracy.” He described this shift as “the mental genocide sown by the left in humanity.” This year, however, he said he observed the beginning of a turn back to the right. “The world has begun to awaken,” he said, pointing to developments in the Americas as evidence of a renewed embrace of liberty.
Suggesting that Europe could learn from the United States and Argentina, Milei said, “the Americas will be the vision for life in the future.” He argued that this positive turn was the result of both countries returning to their foundational philosophies rooted in Roman law and Judeo-Christian values. “The Americas will be the beacon of light,” he said. “It will once again illuminate the entire world.”
He concluded on a hopeful note, saying, “We have a better future ahead,” but warned that such a future exists only if the West returns to its roots by embracing the ideas of liberty. He ended with a prayer, saying, “May God bless the West.”
Even Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, sharply criticized Europe in his speech, arguing that the continent appears “lost” and overly focused on persuading U.S. President Donald Trump rather than defending itself. Zelenskyy said that instead of leading the defense of freedom, Europe is “trying to convince the U.S. president to change” when American attention shifts elsewhere. He warned that while Trump “loves who he is” and says he loves Europe, “he will not listen to this kind of Europe,” reflecting frustration with what he sees as weak and divided leadership.
Of all the Europe-bashing that took place, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick appeared to be the star. Lutnick reportedly mocked European economies, calling them “underperforming” and “uncompetitive” compared to the United States. He also defended the use of fossil fuels and coal, a major taboo for the Davos crowd, which remains fully committed to what it frames as a climate crisis.
During Lutnick’s remarks, Christine Lagarde, president of the European Central Bank, reportedly stood up and left the room. She was not alone. Several other European officials and executives followed her out mid-speech.
Their departure was unfortunate, because Lutnick delivered what may have been the most important takeaway of the forum. He reaffirmed that “America first is the job of our government,” clarifying that this does not mean America alone, but America first. He encouraged leaders elsewhere to do the same and to prioritize their own people. Europe, however, seems unlikely to follow that path, continuing instead to prioritize globalization over sovereignty, liberty, and prosperity at home.
