An illegal alien from Sierra Leone with over thirty arrests was charged with murder this week in the fatal stabbing of a Northern Virginia woman at a bus stop on a busy highway in the Hybla Velley area of Fairfax County just south of Alexandria last Monday evening.

Police say Abdul Jalloh, 32, rode on the same bus as Stephanie Minter, 41, and was seen getting off the bus with her. Soon afterward police were called to the scene where Minter was found with multiple stab wounds to her upper body.

The Department of Homeland Security is calling on Virginia’s Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger to ensure local law enforcement cooperates with federal immigration officials by handing over an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal record who allegedly killed a woman earlier this week at a Virginia bus stop.

Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, arrested an illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone earlier this week on charges of second-degree murder after he allegedly fatally stabbed a woman, Stephanie Minter, 41, who was found dead at a local bus stop with several wounds to the upper body.

The alleged suspect, Abdul Jalloh, 32, also has a criminal history of more than 30 arrests, according to DHS, including for rape, malicious wounding, assault, identity theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, assault and pick-pocketing.

The request from the Trump administration comes after the newly elected Democratic governor of Virginia signed an executive order to end cooperation between federal immigration officials and state and local law enforcement, a move several Democratic Party governors have taken recently amid President Donald Trump’s move to increase deportation operations around the country.

…Jalloh entered the United States illegally in 2012, according to DHS, and immigration officials lodged an immigration detainer against him in 2020, whereupon he was granted a final order of removal by a judge who said he could be removed to any country other than Sierra Leone.

WRC-TV reported on the lax treatment of Abdul Jalloh by the Democrat run justice system in Fairfax County, Virginia (excerpt):

Jalloh is already well-known to police and prosecutors. Court records show the unhoused man had a reputation for violence: An alleged rape in 2018 and then a series of four alleged stabbings. And more recently, before Monday’s alleged murder, two alleged assaults.

But only once was Jalloh convicted and sent to prison. In Feb. 2023, he stabbed a 73-year-old man so forcefully, the blade broke off the knife. He pleaded guilty to malicious wounding and was sentenced to serve two years with five years of time suspended.

Police say the stabbing that killed Minter is the fifth stabbing tied to Jalloh.

…a Spokeswoman for the commonwealth’s attorneys office says many of the cases were difficult to prosecute writing, in part, “Unfortunately, the defendant in this case also had a history of selecting victims with no fixed address. […] In multiple cases, we were unable to move forward with prosecution because victims could not be located or contacted, despite considerable effort from our police department to bring them to court.”

…The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office defended their actions and told News4 besides issuing subpoenas, they have no ability or authority to physically find or bring people to court.

The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office says when Jalloh was arrested in 2025, their office asked that his probation be revoked. But at a November hearing, she says the judge did not impose the rest of the sentence and even ended probation.

Man Charged for Hybla Valley Homicide

Mount Vernon Police District— A man has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a woman in Hybla Valley on February 23.

On February 23, at 7:16 p.m., officers responded to Richmond Highway and Arlington Drive in Hybla Valley for a death investigation. Officers arrived on scene and located Stephanie Minter, 41, of Fredericksburg, in the bus stop shelter with multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Officers began performing life-saving measures until relieved by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel. She was pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau responded to assume the investigation.

Through surveillance footage and interviews, detectives identified Abdul Jalloh, 32, of no fixed address, as the last person seen with Minter. Jalloh was seen exiting the bus with Minter at Richmond Highway and Arlington Drive.

On February 24, at 4:01 p.m., officers responded to the 8600 block of Richmond Highway in Woodlawn for a suspicious person call. An employee recognized Jalloh as the person of interest when he entered a business and immediately contacted police. Officers quickly located Jalloh and connected him to a larceny that occurred earlier in the day in the 8700 block Richmond Highway in Woodlawn. He was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Petit Larceny, where he was held on no bond.

On February 25, detectives determined Jalloh was responsible for the fatal stabbing of Minter and obtained a warrant charging him with Second-Degree Murder. Jalloh remains held on no bond.

Detectives continue to conduct interviews, collect video surveillance, and process evidence recovered from the scene to determine the circumstances that led up to the fatal stabbing.

Fox News reported last December a legal group asked the Justice Department to investigate Descano for being soft on illegal aliens (excerpt):

A pro-police group will request the Justice Department investigate a Virginia prosecutor accused of being unfairly lenient to illegal immigrant suspects, using an oversight law the Biden administration used to scrutinize police departments like one in Kentucky after the Breonna Taylor incident.

The law enforcement “pattern-or-practice” provision, under 34 USC 12601, was previously used to investigate alleged civil rights violations during the Biden era by police departments — including in Louisville after a no-knock warrant was served, leading to a shootout that killed Taylor.

On Wednesday, the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) told Fox News Digital it would ask the Trump Justice Department to use the same law in a different respect to investigate progressive Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano in Virginia.

Descano, who received at least $600,000 from a George Soros-funded political action committee during his first election bid in Virginia’s largest jurisdiction in 2019, came under fire recently for the nonprosecution of an illegal immigrant who allegedly murdered someone the day after he was released.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly erupted into a screaming match with Rep. Nancy Mace during her closed-door deposition as part of the House Oversight Committee’s probe into Jeffrey Epstein’s web of influence.

According to Mace, Clinton became “unhinged” when pressed on provocative photos of her husband, former President Bill Clinton, that were found in the Epstein files.

Details about the incident were corroborated by fellow Rep. Anna Paulina Luna.

The drama unfolded during Clinton’s nine-hour testimony this week, where lawmakers grilled her on the family’s connections to Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Mace, known for not holding back, confronted Clinton about racy images showing Bill Clinton in compromising situations, including jacuzzi photos released in recent Department of Justice document dumps.

“She was screaming. She was unhinged,” Mace told reporters. “I hope that President Clinton is less unhinged today than his wife was yesterday.”

Rep. Luna, who appeared on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the hearing, backed up Mace’s account.

“Sec. Clinton definitely lost her cool. Rep. Mace was pushing her… something along the lines of her not doing anything regarding the trafficking, it got into a heated exchange. They were yelling at each other,” Luna said. “Then she realized it was being recorded, and collected herself. But that was not an exaggeration by Rep. Mace. That will come out.”

Clinton’s spokesperson, Nick Merrill, fired back at Mace’s claims, calling her “full of sh-t” and insisting that the former first lady did not scream or lose composure.

Mace responded by accusing Clinton of using the 9/11 terrorist attacks as a “scapegoat” to deflect from her family’s relationships with Epstein, Maxwell, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who has also faced questions over his island visits.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that Scouting America, formerly the Boy Scouts of America, has agreed to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and clarify that membership is based solely on biological sex at birth in order to maintain its longstanding relationship with the military.

The Department of War had threatened to withdraw its support, including access to military bases and logistical assistance for major events such as the 2026 National Jamboree in West Virginia, because the organization embraced “radical, woke ideology.” An agreement has now been reached.

Under the deal, Scouting America will immediately comply with Executive Order 14173, eliminate DEI programs, and discontinue a DEI-related merit badge which had become a requirement to make Eagle Scout. Applications will list only male or female, consistent with the applicant’s birth certificate, and biological boys and girls will not share intimate spaces such as tents, showers, or restrooms.

In addition, the organization will waive registration fees for children of active-duty, Guard, and Reserve families and introduce a new military-service merit badge in partnership with the Department of War.

In exchange, Scouting America will retain its name and continue admitting girls, at least for now. Hegseth said the Department’s continued support is contingent on substantial progress over the next six months and warned that failure to comply could result in termination of military backing. He added that, ideally, the organization should return to its original identity as a group focused on developing boys into men.

Scouting America emphasized its historic ties to the armed forces, noting that Scouts are more likely than the general population to serve in uniform and that Eagle Scouts are heavily represented in ROTC programs, service academies and military leadership tracks.

The organization said it engaged in months of dialogue with the Department of War and framed the agreement as a strengthened partnership focused on serving military families and reinforcing leadership, character, duty to God and duty to country.

Scouting America also stated that youth have always joined according to their biological sex and that transgender youth, who have been accepted since 2017, will continue to be welcomed under its existing policies.

Modern Scouting is a mere shadow of its former self. At its peak in 1972, it had roughly 6.5 million total members, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorers. At that time, about 31 percent of all American boys between the ages of 10 and 19 were involved in Scouting. The 1960s and early 1970s were considered the “Golden Age” of the movement, fueled by post-World War II civic engagement and the massive “Boypower ’76” recruitment campaign.

Today, with the word “Boy” removed from the name, Scouting reports approximately 1 million youth members as of early 2026, including girls across all programs: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouts. While the Girl Scouts exist as a separate entity, girls now comprise roughly 20 percent of Scouting America’s total youth membership. That means only about 800,000 boys are currently involved in Scouting in any capacity.

Across social media, parents have offered a range of opinions about why Scouting has declined in popularity. While their explanations differ, the general consensus is that Scouting lost its way, abandoning its original mission and conforming to a softer culture driven by social agendas. The program strayed from the principles embodied in the Scout Oath: “On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”

The original intent was to teach boys to become young men and leaders, pushing them through difficult outdoor challenges that built resilience and character. Eagle Scout, the organization’s highest award, used to be extremely difficult to earn. Only a small percentage of boys completed the rigorous requirements and received their letter from the president of the United States. Those who entered the military did so at the advanced rank of E-3, private first class, rather than E-1.

Today, many parents argue that standards have softened and that the award is given too freely, often due to parental or political pressure. The soccer participation-trophy mentality has watered down the meaning of Eagle Scout to the point that many employers no longer recognize it as a reliable sign of discipline, commitment and perseverance in the face of obstacles. In American schools and across society, children are increasingly taught to see themselves as victims rather than to persevere through hardship. If they experience even one second of discomfort, someone needs to be sued and taxes need to be raised.”

The idea that “boys will be boys” no longer exists in society or in Scouting. Activities that once built toughness, teamwork and confidence have been restricted or removed because of fears of lawsuits, insurance costs or parental complaints. Water guns, rough-and-tumble games, climbing, exploring and anything involving even minimal risk are restricted or eliminated. Like many institutions, by trying to become something for everyone instead of remaining focused on boys, Scouting has nearly committed organizational suicide.

Secretary of War Hegseth’s harsh treatment of the Scouts represents the kind of tough love that once defined the movement, pushing the organization to regain its mission and return to its former excellence.

President Donald Trump told the crowd at a rally in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Friday, that he would be entitled to a third term in office, because the Democrats “cheated like hell” in 2020.

Trump has been floating the idea of a third term for some time.

“I’ve been here one year. Think of it, one year, a little bit more than one year. Now, time flies. Time flies,” Trump said.

“Maybe we should — maybe we do one more term. Should we do one more? One more term?” Trump continued.

“Well, we’re entitled to it! ‘Cause they CHEATED like HELL on the second one. We’d actually be entitled to it.”

The U.S. Constitution’s 22nd Amendment limits presidents to two terms, a rule established after Franklin D. Roosevelt’s four elections, but many supporters have argued that there are workarounds.

Trump has a history of playfully, and sometimes seriously, referencing the idea of a third term in office, often citing 2020 election fraud or constitutional workarounds.

One of the earliest instances came in March 2018, when Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping for abolishing term limits, quipping that perhaps the U.S. should “give that a shot someday.”

In April 2019, during a speech to the National Republican Congressional Committee, he joked about staying in office for another 10 or 14 years, prompting laughter from the audience.

A couple of months later, Trump clarified in an interview that he had just been joking about it, emphasizing he would not violate the Constitution.

The tone of the jokes changed a bit during his second term.

In January 2025, at a Nevada rally, Trump teased serving “twice or three times or four times,” before correcting himself to “twice.”

Two months later, during an NBC News interview, Trump explicitly stated he was “not joking” about a third term, mentioning “there are methods” to pursue it without elaborating on potential avenues.

So far, Trump has not officially announced a bid for a third term.
