A New York man has been sentenced to 87 months in prison in connection with a plot in which he wanted a romantic rival killed and fed to hogs.

As noted by the New York Post, Jeal Sutherland, 58, wanted to pay a hog farmer $1,000 and throw in a bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon to kill a man and dispose of the body.

He was convicted for using an interstate commerce facility in a murder-for-hire scheme, according to a Department of Justice news release.

Sutherland, of the Albany suburb of Colonie, “used his cell phone to arrange the murder of a man who is the father of a child with Sutherland’s then-partner,” the release said.

The deal Sutherland made with the man he thought was a Pennsylvania hog farmer, who was actually working for the FBI, involved forgiving the man’s loan.

In addition to 87 months in prison, United States District Judge Mae D’Agostino imposed a $15,000 fine and ordered three years of supervised release when Sutherland gets out of prison.

“Jeal Sutherland thought he could order up the murder of his romantic rival right from his cell phone. Thanks to the hard work of FBI Albany and members of my office, Sutherland will now be dialing out from a federal prison for the foreseeable future,” First Assistant United States Attorney John Sarcone III said.

“The details of Mr. Sutherland’s callous plans are deeply disturbing and prove he had every intention of ending a life. Instead, his vicious and intricate plot has landed him in federal prison,” Craig Tremaroli, special agent in charge of the Albany Field Office of the FBI, said.

“This case clearly illustrates the FBI will work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to swiftly investigate and interrupt any individual looking to carry out such egregious acts of violence in our communities,” he added.

Sutherland admitted that in January 2025, he had a man leave the carcass of a Canada goose on the doorstep of the intended victim’s mother.

The goose had a threatening note in its beak.

The intended victim was not harmed.

Sutherland was arrested in January 2025 and has been in jail ever since.

According to the Albany Times-Union, Sutherland and the source he thought was a hog farmer talked several times between November 2024 and January 2025 about the plot.

Sutherland wanted his help to pick up the intended victim after he was freed from state prison and to offer him a job. The man would then be killed and taken to the Pennsylvania farm, where the evidence would by eaten by hogs.

A van to be used in the crime was to be provided by a nun, the complaint said, for $250.

The Miss America organization has lost its way, according to a beauty pageant winner who says she lost her crown because she would not agree that men can become women.

Kayleigh Bush was crowned as Miss North Florida in September 2024, but that did not last for long.

She said the Miss America organization required her to sign a contract that conflicted with her beliefs, according to TMZ.

According to Miss America’s rules, a “female” includes “a born female or an individual who has fully completed Sex Reassignment Surgery,” according to Newsweek.

Bush said she refused to agree to that.

“I was unwilling to agree that little boys can become girls and I took a stand against the Miss America organization and lost my crown as a result of that,” she said.

A pageant representative said that’s not quite accurate, saying Bush “retained her crown” but “simply did not go forward because she refuse to sign the contract every other contestant signed.”

But Bush said the pageant tried to change the rules on her.

“I was asked to sign a contract that was different than the first one that I had agreed to, because they had changed it four weeks after I rightly won,” she said. “And so I didn’t lose my crown because I broke a rule, I lost the crown because I was unwilling to rewrite the truth.”

She said that she and her mother tried to deal with the organization.

“We got on a conference call immediately with one of the directors for the Miss America organization,” she said.

“And weeks and weeks and weeks of pleading with them, sending videos, sending letters, emails, demand letters through Liberty Counsel because they picked up my case and they just said ‘no, no, no,’ and they doubled down,” she described.

“It was disappointing because Miss America has been honoring women for over 100 years and now they can’t even define what a woman is,” she added.

“I used to look up to Miss America because they empowered women, but now it’s really disappointing to see that they’ve abandoned such a common-sense truth — that a man is a man and that a woman is a woman,” Bush said, according to LifeSite News.

She said that she was “disappointed in the Miss America organization but I’m really hoping that they get back on track and return to truth and you know start honoring God in their pageants like they used to.”

An immigrant and restaurant owner from El Salvador finds himself in the left’s crosshairs for having the audacity to support law enforcement.

Jorge Rivas owns Sammy’s Mexican Grill in Catalina, Arizona. For the last five years, Rivas has offered free meals to law enforcement, but has only recently created outrage when it became known that the offer applied to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, as reported by Fox News.

“Everything started because a local reporter asked me that the offer that we have on the wall of the restaurant about serving free meals to law enforcement officers, if that also extended to ICE agents,” Rivas said.

“And I say, of course it does because they’re also law enforcement agents.

“You know, there are agents that work for the federal government. Obviously, working under the great leadership of President Trump. And they’re enforcing the laws that have been on the books for many years, the same laws that were enforced by other presidents like Obama, Clinton, et cetera. So they are not doing anything different. And for us to offer free meals, it’s just our way of saying thank you for being out there, putting your life on the line, risking your safety.”

The policy was made known to the broader public in a video posted to Instagram by Pulso.

The video was later reposted to social media platform X.

Since that time, Rivas said his business is receiving angry calls and one-star reviews from angry leftists; they cannot stand to see an immigrant support the president.

“You know, when you hear the negativity and the insults over and over, it bothers you, you know, whether you want it or not. And also all the one-star reviews on Google, I know sooner or later people are going to start wondering, you know, ‘Is this real, are they as horrible,’ because they write, ‘Oh this place is full of cockroaches,’ or ‘You know, I got so sick off eating a burrito.’”

Fox called Rivas an outspoken Trump supporter. He said that the agitators suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome aren’t just bothering him, but taking to the streets to riot and endanger officers.

“I know that many people feel that they need to have a goal, they need to have a purpose in their life.

“And they think that by confronting ICE agents or federal agents, that will fill the void that they have in their heart. They need to look for Jesus and for God for moral values and that will make them feel better.”

Indeed, if these leftists had an ounce of faith in Christ to find meaning, perhaps this wouldn’t be how they spend their time.

The exchanges between Rivas and his left-wing patrons on Yelp are admittedly hilarious, as he refuses to cede any ground.

One user complained about his burrito, writing, “Halfway through, the burrito basically exploded and turned into a burrito salad, except calling it a salad is an insult to vegetables. If disappointment had a flavor, this would be it. Would not recommend. Would not re-order. Honestly still not sure if I should be mad or impressed.”

Rivas shot back, “This is Trump’s King Lobster burrito, made for Royalty and that’s probably why you didn’t like it, maybe you’re just a ‘Dem peasant’ and just like you said everyday deep fried food is just down the road.”

Oof.

Another wrote, “What I got was bland and disgusting food. What’s the point in complaining when even the service isn’t up to par. I’ll never come back and will not recommend. One last thing, maybe if the owner focused more attention on his food than on his political views this would be a different story.”

Again, Rivas wasn’t having it, replying, “Simply TDS syndrome!”

The Achilles heel of collectivism is the individual the collectivist claims to represent that diametrically opposes their worldview.

Rivas won’t be stereotyped as another victim of the Trump regime.

We should commend his courage, his sense of humor, and his work ethic.

In a back-and-forth exchange on X, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) revealed that the DOJ redacted the name of a former candidate for office, who was in contact with Jeffrey Epstein as recently as 2016, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche responded by claiming that the politician was actually a victim. 

This comes after the DOJ unredacted the names of six men, who are likely implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein files, following Khanna and Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-KY) discovery that their names were redacted in portions that were damaging to them. Khanna revealed the names on the House Floor on Tuesday as Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, Nicola Caputo, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and Leslie Wexner.

Notably, Les Wexner, a businessman and former Victoria’s Secret CEO, was mentioned countless times in the files, but Massie said that his name was specifically redacted when mentioned as a coconspirator of the late pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

Rep. Thomas Massie went off on Attorney General Pam Bondi over the Wexner redaction during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday, where she denied attempting to protect Wexner during a heated exchange.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, another one of these men, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, resigned from his role at Dubai port giant DP World on Friday amid fallout from being revealed in a disturbing email where Epstein writes, “I loved the torture video.”

But there may be others who were improperly redacted, as Khanna revealed on Thursday that he found a February 2016 email to Epstein from a "political figure who shouldn't have been redacted," but was redacted in the public version of the files.

The email to Jeffrey Epstein reads,

Hi Jeffrey,

I got more votes than Jeb Bush got in Iowa, and I only had one congressional district, he had four!! It's so funny (to me - totally embarrassing to him)!!! Still like Trump * and might be a delegate to the republican convention.

Was in St. Thomas for a couple of days - did call this island, but never heard back. Went scuba diving off St. Jeff and it was beautiful. Would be totally funny (to me at least) if you put a big fake shark or statute under the water where the divers go....

Khanna said this redaction was a "direct violation" of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and called for the Justice Department to unredact the politician's name.

Many have speculated online that the email was sent by Gwendolyn Beck, who ran for Congress in Virginia in 2014, though it is unclear whether she actually sent it. Beck was reportedly a money manager for Epstein, who dated disgraced ex-Senator Bob Menendez and allegedly participated in orgies with Epstein and underage girls, according to the late Epstein victim, Virginia Giuffre.

Beck received a $2,600 campaign donation from Jeffrey Epstein in 2014. She was further represented, along with Epstein, the Coalition of Independent Voices in Congress (CIVIC), and the Eagles Party PAC, both of which also donated $2,600 to her in 2014, by Epstein's personal attorney and estate executor, Darren Indyke, in an FEC complaint alleging violations of campaign contribution limits in 2015.

But Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche issued a contemptuous response, accusing Khanna of demanding a "victim's" name to be redacted. "Care to update your tweet?" Blanche mockingly said with a clown emoji.

Khanna then fired back, "There is no evidence this political candidate was a victim," leading Blanche to admit that the woman self-identified as a victim, which is why her name was redacted.

Khanna used the admission against him, questioning why the so-called victim is identified in other parts of the files and whether the redactions, namely Les Wexner, were self-identified victims. "What about the actual survivors who you failed to redact and are terrified now? Why aren’t you fighting for them?" he further asked in reference to the DOJ previously publishing the names of actual victims.

The same candidate you claim is a victim is identified in other parts of the file.

Also, did Les Wexner identify himself as a victim to the DOJ? How about the Sultan? You redacted them.
