Texas Governor Greg Abbott has said there is “no chance” that Democrats win statewide in November.

During an appearance on Fox News, Abbott appeared to assuage concerns that Texas may be in play in both the Senate race and gubernatorial election.

“If I had a dollar for every time someone talked about turning Texas blue, I could buy Fox News.”

“There’s no chance Democrats are going to win the election, and I’ll tell you the reason why.”

“Right now, they are fighting to win the Democrat nomination. No one is exposing them for the leftists and socialists that they are.”

”Both of them have proven voting records of what they have done, whether it be in the Texas House or the United States Congress, that are going to be used against them.”

”We will show the contrast in November. These are people who are for open border policies. People who are in favor of defunding the police. People who are in favor of boys in girl’s sports.”

”Those policies don’t sell in the state of Texas. Texas is a common-sense bastion in a country that is reeling from this leftist agenda.”

“The voters of Texas will vote in favor of common sense this November.”

Abbott is running for his fourth full term as governor and recently received the endorsement of President Trump.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

It is not clear who will come out on top in the Democratic primary. During the 2022 gubernatorial election, Abbott defeated Robert ‘Beto’ O’Rourke by over 10 points.

Former U.S. Representative Katie Porter took the stage at the California Democratic convention on Saturday, holding up a large sign that read “F-ck Trump.”

“I’m running for governor,” Porter said, continuing her vulgarities, “because I’m willing and ready to get sh-t done.”

“Together, we’re going to kick Trump’s ass in November,” Porter added. “I’ll stand up to Trump and his cronies, just like I did in Congress. With or without my whiteboard. But this election is about more than defeating Trump.”

The cringeworthy stunt, which comes as Porter ramps up her campaign for California governor, was captured on video by Loomer Unleashed.

Porter, known for her aggressive political style, has a history of angsty rhetoric and public clashes.

Last October, videos emerged showing her in a heated exchange with a CBS News interviewer, abruptly walking out, and another incident in which she berated a staffer for interrupting her live shot.

The crass “F-ck Trump” message has been a growing trend among Democrat politicians looking to make themselves seem edgy.

Earlier in the week, Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton released a campaign ad featuring several Illinois residents, including Sen. Tammy Duckworth, chanting the same phrase.

Brunel contemplated flipping on Epstein.

We often hear analysts, politicians or victims complaining that Ghislaine Maxwell ended up being the only member of the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring to face justice.

But this complaint, while it has merit, is not completely accurate, because it ignores the sordid saga of French modeling agent and alleged serial rapist Jean-Luc Brunel.

Late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre said he ‘raped [her] repeatedly in New York and on Epstein’s island’.

From her 2015 testimony: ‘He was another of Epstein’s powerful friends who had many contacts with young girls throughout the world. In fact, his only similarity with Epstein and the only link to their friendship appeared to be that Brunel could get dozens of underage girls and feed Epstein’s (and Maxwell’s) strong appetite for sex with minors’.

Additionally, she said that ‘Jeffrey Epstein has told me that he has slept with over 1,000 of Brunel’s girls, and everything that I have seen confirms this claim’.

In her posthumous memoir ‘Nobody’s Girl’, Giuffre added: “I’ll never forget how Epstein and Brunel looked at one another as they abused girls side by side. They were truly gloating, taking a mutual malignant pleasure in our misfortune.”

Now, the DOJ-released files show Brunel contemplated flipping and testifying against Epstein, before he was found ‘suicided’ in his La Santé prison cell.

Daily Mail reported:

“One-time top modeling agency boss Jean-Luc Brunel was prepared to turn on his longtime friend Jeffrey Epstein but suddenly stopped cooperating after the pedophile was informed about his negotiations with officials.”

Documents reveal that Brunel secretly negotiated with lawyers representing some of Epstein’s victims in 2016, saying that he had incriminating photos of Epstein.

A date was discussed for him to speak with federal prosecutors in New York in exchange for immunity.

‘Brunel is afraid of being prosecuted,’ a prosecutor noted, saying he had ‘photographic evidence’ and ‘doesn’t want to implicate himself’.

“It remains unclear what prompted Brunel to change his mind about testifying against the pedophile, but the decision apparently came after Epstein found out that federal prosecutors were seeking to negotiate with his friend.”

So, on May 3, 2016, Epstein emailed former Obama White House Counsel Kathy Ruemmler in his almost illegible style:

“I spoke to Michel Kudesh, Jean Luc’s friend. He said that [attorney for victims] Boie got Jean-Luc full immunity, and was taking him in to US Attorney next Tuesday. […] He asked for 3 million dollars so that Jean-Luc would not go in.”

“Epstein also told the attorney, who resigned from her top position at Goldman Sachs last week, that Brunel was afraid he would be arrested if he failed to attend the meeting. ‘I want to know more,’ Epstein wrote in the typo-laden email, in which he also dismissed Brunel’s lawyer and his friends as ‘scammers’ and cast doubt on their credibility.”

Once again, the Radical Left’s favorite Squad member is substituting actual policy knowledge with absolute theatrical melodrama.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, AOC delivered one of the most humiliating performances by a U.S. politician in modern history at the Munich Security Conference. She made a host of mind-boggling gaffes in response to simple questions while botching basic geography.

In one instance, a moderator at the event asked AOC if the US should commit troops to defend against China, and she turned into a stuttering mess.

“Um, you know, I think that, uh, this is such a, uh, you know, I — I think that this is a, umm, this is of course a, uh, a very longstanding, um, policy of the United States – uh and I think what we are hoping for is we want to make sure that we never get to that point,” AOC said.

“And we want to make sure that we are moving all of our economic research and global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise,” she said.

In addition to the ugly episode, AOC also incorrectly stated that Venezuela was below the equator and called Secretary of State Marco Rubio racist for saying cowboys came from Spain.

AOC then called The New York Times and vented her fury over the coverage of her gaffes and the questions she was asked.

“This reporter came up to me and was like, ‘Is Munich the new New Hampshire?’ And I cannot say enough how out of touch and missing the point, genuinely, that is,” AOC whined during the interview with the Times.

“Global democracies are on fire the world over, and established parties are falling to right-wing populist movements.”

AOC continued to complain about the media clips that went viral, saying, “Any five-to-10-second thing” only serves to “distract from the substance of what I am saying.”

AOC later took to Instagram, her voice wavering and her eyes welling up, as she pushed back hard against claims that she lacks ‘serious foreign policy chops.’

“If you think that I don’t understand foreign policy because, out of hours of discourse about international affairs, I pause to think about one of the most sensitive geopolitical issues that currently exists on Earth, I’m afraid the issue is not my understanding, but rather that perhaps you’ve grown accustomed to a president who never thinks before he speaks.”

The California political machine is officially in panic mode.

With the June 2026 primary fast approaching, a shocking new reality is setting in for the Golden State’s Democrat establishment: the very voting system they championed could shut them out of the Governor’s mansion completely.

Unlike most states that hold partisan primaries, California dumps all candidates from all parties into one single primary election.

The only rule?

• The top two vote-getters advance to the general election
• Party affiliation doesn’t matter

That means:

If Democrats split their vote among multiple candidates, and Republicans consolidate behind just one or two, it is entirely possible for two Republicans to advance to the November runoff, shutting Democrats out completely.

Democrats vastly outnumber Republicans statewide.

But polls now suggest that may not be enough this time.

While the Democrat field remains hopelessly fractured, conservative candidates are surging to the front of the pack, according to a brand-new Emerson College poll released this month.

The latest numbers show exactly why Democrats are sounding the alarm:

• Steve Hilton (R): 17%
• Chad Bianco (R): 14%
• Eric Swalwell (D): 14%
• Katie Porter (D): 10%
• Tom Steyer (D): 9%

New York Post reported:

California Democrats are panicking as a crowded and uninspiring field of gubernatorial candidates is raising the real possibility two Republicans could advance out of the June primary.

The prospect of candidates waiting too long to drop out and creating “zombie campaigns” that lead to a Republican governor for the first time since Arnold Schwarzenegger left office in 2011 has created a  “sh—show,” one Democratic state legislator told The Post.

“I’ve never seen a big race like this before,” the legislator said. “And I am worried that we’re going to have two really whacko Republicans.”

As hundreds gathered this weekend for the California Democratic Party convention in San Francisco, another state legislator took aim at the rudderless leadership of the Democratic Party under chair Rusty Hicks, who has said he has no intention of leaning on candidates to bow out. Only the top two candidates — regardless of party affiliation — will emerge out of what’s called a jungle primary to run in the general election in November.

“You would think the party chair would be actively doing something to prevent a catastrophe,”  a second state legislator told The Post.
