Administrators at Lewis University in Illinois recently cancelled in-person classes when they found out that ICE was operating out of the same building on one of their satellite campuses.
Young people in America are being coddled for political purposes. This cancellation of in-person classes was completely unnecessary and was done simply for the sake of virtue signaling.
ICE has existed for more than twenty-five years and operated under Bush, Obama, and Biden. Why is it suddenly such a problem now? We all know why.
Lewis University moves classes online because ICE rents space nearby
Lewis University officials canceled all in-person classes this week at a satellite campus after learning ICE would be renting space inside the same building.
The Catholic university is primarily based in Romeoville but operates several nursing programs and graduate business programs in Oak Brook, a western suburb of Chicago.
In a show of solidarity, and due to concerns about protests disrupting classes, the school moved classes online. The landlord of the office building confirmed ICE would be renting space.
The university announced:
Lewis University was recently alerted that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is leasing office space within the building where we operate our Oak Brook location at 1111 W. 22nd Street, Oak Brook, Illinois, and that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is utilizing space for its administrative offices. Lewis is one of several tenants in the property and does not have control over leasing decisions involving other occupants.
In light of social media attention referencing the potential for protests at the site, and the community’s concerns regarding ICE, we are taking precautionary steps to support a safe, productive, and welcoming learning environment for all.
The university said it “remains committed to fostering a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment for all members of our community.”
Provost Christopher Sindt gave further comments to ABC 7, explaining how the school found out ICE might be operating in the same space.
Were the students offered milk and cookies? Did they have a ‘safe space’ with coloring books and finger paints?
During WWII, 18 year-olds went overseas to fight real fascism. Today, they hide under their desks from American law enforcement officers who are enforcing American immigration laws.
We have a lot of work to do in this country. Higher education needs to be completely overhauled or schools like this can just close. We would be better off as a country without them anyway.

Democrat U.S. Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts is pushing a separate ‘Trans Bill of Rights’ and believes minors should have access to ‘gender affirming care’ – a term that is completely Orwellian.

People in Massachusetts are struggling with massive home heating costs and other issues, yet this is what one of their senators is focused on. Separate rights for trans people.
As you’ll see in the video below, Markey insists that trans people have the right to live free of violence. That’s true of all people, including the people who have been shot and killed by trans people in two shootings in just the past two weeks.

Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) says his “Trans Bill of Rights” says children should be allowed to have elective gender surgeries and get documents that say they’re a different gender than their chromosomes dictate.
In this blurb from his Senate page, he mentions trans youth no less than three times:
Trans and nonbinary people across the United States have faced relentless and escalating attacks on their health, safety, and wellbeing. The Trump administration has continuously attacked gender-affirming care, particularly care for minors; sought to remove discrimination protections for people with gender dysphoria; and instructed the State Department to suspend its policy allowing trans people to change their gender identification on their passports, among other attacks.
In 2025, 1,022 anti-trans bills across 49 states and the federal government were introduced. As of January of this year, there are 648 active anti-trans bills that seek to restrict health care, ban LGBTQ+ inclusive curricula in schools, exclude trans youth from athletics, and otherwise endanger and harm trans people. These anti-trans bills harm the mental health and physical safety of LGBTQ+ youth, particularly trans youth who have been the primary target of these attacks. In the United States, trans people are four times more likely to face violent attacks than their cisgender peers and more than 40 percent of trans people have attempted suicide.
The Transgender Bill of Rights is cosponsored in the Senate by Senators Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Alex Padilla (D-Calif.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Peter Welch (D-Vt).
The American people made their position on this issue quite clear in the last election. They don’t want it. Hospitals across the country are ending their gender reassignment programs for minors.
Yet this buffoon keeps pushing it because he is running for reelection and he needs support and donations from the far left.

Kaitlan Collins of CNN recently appeared on the Colbert show and demonstrated her ignorance of media related laws and policy.
Because Colbert has decided to turn ‘The Late Show’ into the Democrat Power Hour, the FCC has threatened to enforce what are called ‘Equal Time Rules.’ This means that if Colbert has a political candidate on his show, a thing he does all the time, by law he has to offer equal time to the candidate’s opponent. This is because his show is broadcast on public airwaves.
During her appearance on the show, Collins proved that she does not understand this at all. In the clip below, she makes that clear.
COLLINS: I think it’s actually a really, really slippery slope because I think you’ve seen some people on the right cheering this and saying that’s what we want Brendan Carr to do. I think they don’t want a Democratic administration saying that right-wing talk radio must give equal time to Democrats or to see that moment.
For me personally on our show I have Democrats and Republicans on. I want to know everyone is saying. I want my viewers to know what the debate is that’s in Washington. I don’t think anyone wants the federal government telling people who they should book on their show and who the guests should be on their show.

BREAKING: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Eric Dane – Known For His Role as “McSteamy” – Dead at 53

Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane has passed away.
He was 53 years old.
Eric Dane was known for his role as Dr. Mark Sloan or “McSteamy.”
Last year Eric Dane revealed he was diagnosed with ALS – a disease that affects the nervous system and ultimately leads to loss of muscle control.
“With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,” the family’s statement to Fox News read.
“He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world. Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time,” the statement read.
Eric Dane was spotted in a wheelchair last year after his diagnosis.
Eric Dane has died at the age of 53, following a battle with ALS, TMZ has learned.
He died Thursday afternoon at a Los Angeles hospital with his wife, his daughters, along with friends and relatives at his bedside.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star announced he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly referred to as ALS, back in April 2025.
He explained it had been an exhausting road just to get accurate answers. He bounced from one specialist to another, test after test… until a neurologist finally dropped the bomb: ALS.
Over the months, he chronicled his battle with the progressive neurodegenerative disease … revealing how he was down to just one functioning arm and was running out of body strength.

President Trump on Thursday ordered the Pentagon and other agencies to declassify and release government files related to aliens and UFOs.

Earlier Thursday, President Trump accused Obama of leaking classified information on aliens during an interview with far-left podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen.
Obama said Aliens are “real” adding, “But I haven’t seen them. And they’re not being kept in Area 51. There’s no underground facility—unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked President Trump about Obama’s comments on aliens.
“Barack Obama said that aliens are real. Have you seen any evidence of nonhuman visitors to Earth?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy said to Trump.
“Well, he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that,” Trump said.
“So aliens are real?” Doocy asked Trump.
“Well, I don’t know if they’re real or not. I can tell you he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake. He took it out of classified information,” Trump said.
