Serious expression of a man in a suit during a formal event, highlighting intense focus and engagement.

President Trump will reportedly sign an executive order cracking down on mail-in ballots, according to The Daily Caller.

Trump is expected to sign the order on Tuesday afternoon.

“States who disobey the order may lose federal funds under the presidential action,” The Daily Caller said.

The Daily Caller reported:

President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order Tuesday cracking down on mail-in voting across the country, the Daily Caller learned first.

The executive order will require the Secretary of Homeland Security to create a list of verified U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote in each state with the Social Security Administration’s help, according to a fact sheet shared with the Caller.

The presidential action will also require that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) only send absentee ballots to those on each state’s approved mail-in ballot list. Ballots will now have specific secure envelopes, with unique barcodes for tracking, the order mandates.

States will be provided with their revised list of confirmed voters no less than 60 days before each federal election under the order.

The executive order also tells the U.S. Attorney General to prioritize investigating and prosecuting anyone accused of sending ballots to ineligible voters, the Caller learned. States that disobey the order may lose federal funds under the presidential action.

The SAVE America Act is currently stalled in the Senate.

Air Canada CEO Out After Crash — For Not Offering Condolences in Second Language

Air Canada CEO Out After Crash — For Not Offering Condolences in Second Language

Air Canada CEO Out After Crash — For Not Offering Condolences in Second Language
March 31, 2026

Emergency response vehicles on a wet airport runway during a nighttime incident with low visibility and scattered lights in the background.

In the wake of a major airline crash, it’s not unusual for the carrier’s CEO to resign, especially if there were signs that corporate culture may have played a hand in it.

In the case of Air Canada Express Flight 8646, that’s not the case. In fact, it’s pretty much clear at this point that the Air Canada jet had no role in the accident and that some concatenation of events led to a fire truck given clearance to cross a runway as the jet was landing.

Rather, Michael Rousseau is out of a job because he didn’t offer an apology in French as well as English.

The March 22 crash killed both the captain and first officer on board the Bombardier CRJ900, although all 72 passengers and two other crew members survived the flight from Montreal to New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

And while Rousseau put out a four-minute video apology, saying he had the “deepest sorrow for everyone affected,” the Financial Times reported that wasn’t what got people upset.

Instead, it was the fact that the only French words he used were “bonjour” and “merci.”

“Air Canada, the country’s largest airline, is based in majority French-speaking Quebec,” the Financial Times noted.

“Canada is officially a bilingual nation and his message sparked condemnation from senior political leaders, while also stirring longstanding tensions that led Quebec to attempt to become an independent state via referendums in 1980 and 1995.”

And Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney weighed in, because of course he did, and in the worst way possible.

“Companies like Air Canada particularly have a responsibility to always communicate in both official languages regardless of the situation,” he said, according to The Associated Press.

“I’m very disappointed in, as others are, rightly so, in this unilingual message of the CEO of Air Canada, it doesn’t matter the circumstances, but particularly in these circumstances — a lack of judgment and lack of compassion.”

Meanwhile, the leader of the separatist-friendly Bloc Québécois, Yves-François Blanchet, called it a “sad and gross lack of respect for the loved ones and family” and said Rousseau should step down.

So, he did:

Rousseau, who said that “despite many lessons over several years, unfortunately, I am still unable to express myself adequately in French,” will be leaving the company in September, the airline announced Monday.

The carrier added that it would “consider a number of performance criteria in assessing candidates including the ability to communicate in French.”

Now, did his lack of proficiency in French affect his ability to run the company? Not in the least. Canada, as you heard Prime Minister Carney say, is a bilingual country. The important thing should be his ability to run an airline. And he ran an airline whose pilots arguably saved lives — passengers told the AP that their quick braking action likely made the accident less catastrophic than it would have been — in the collision at LaGuardia.

But because he couldn’t speak a minority language that the government keeps because of identity politics, he’ll be replaced by someone who knows better French but may not know better airline management. Hope that makes you feel safer, Air Canada fliers!

And despite the fact that this has no operational impact whatsoever, a McGill University political science professor still said this was the right thing to do.

“Language is a highly political issue in Canada and the Air Canada leadership has been aware of that for a very long time,” Daniel Béland told the AP.

“The fact that Rousseau had promised to learn French back in 2021 but failed to deliver amidst his sky-high level of compensation did not help him in the court of public opinion.”

If you think this won’t come here, think again. Remember, the American left has been pandering to Hispanics by trying to make Spanish a de facto second official language down here. When it comes to CEOs 10 years down the line, will it be the most qualified individual, or the person who can properly conjugate both ser and estar in all of their irregular tenses?

Because when that day comes, if you think air travel is bad in America now, let me tell you: You ain’t visto nothing yet. This is the end of the primrose path identitarian ideologies lead down. It never gets better. It never does. Only worse.

Democratic Party Official Arrested After Allegedly Injuring a Disabled Veteran at a ‘No Kings’ Protest

Democratic Party Official Arrested After Allegedly Injuring a Disabled Veteran at a ‘No Kings’ Protest
March 31, 2026

Mugshot of a middle-aged man with a serious expression, wearing a blue shirt, against a gray background.

A Florida Democrat has been arrested after allegedly attacking a man identified as a disabled veteran during a “No Kings” protest on Saturday.

Brian Stewart, chairman of the Hernando County Democratic Party, was arrested, according to WFLA-TV.

An affidavit released by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said that a deputy was called to Spring Hill at about 10:31 a.m. Saturday.

A man said that after an argument with Stewart, the Democratic Party operative “struck him against his will.”

The victim “reported pain and had a visible lump on his head, which was consistent with being struck,” the office said.

“Based on the victim’s statement, the witness statement, the video evidence, the visible injury to Thomas Michta, and the defendant’s own admissions, I developed probable cause to believe that the defendant intentionally struck and touched Thomas Michta against his will and caused bodily harm,” the affidavit stated.

The incident kicked off when Stewart intervened as counter-protestors followed a public official.

Stewart reportedly played the siren on his megaphone, even as a counter-protester complained the noise would damage his hearing.

The man poured a liquid into the megaphone. Stewart then allegedly struck him with the megaphone.

Stewart was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge.

The Hernando County Democratic Party claimed in a statement that Stewart was arrested after “responding to a provocation from a local agitator who threw a drink on him and yelled obscenities at community members during a protest.”

Republicans offered a different perspective.

“Brian Stewart was arrested for violently attacking a disabled veteran at the far-left ‘No Kings’ rally yesterday,” the Florida Republican Part posted on X.

“Radical liberals are spiraling out of control!” the post said, noting that other leading Florida Democrats had not condemned the incident.

“Violence and political intimidation have no place in our state, and Floridians deserve better than mere silence from Democrat leadership. Nikki Fried must immediately remove Brian Stewart from his position of leadership in the Florida Democrat Party!” Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power said in a statement, according to WTVT-TV.

“The fact that this occurred at a far-left ‘No Kings’ protest only underscores how dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric from the radical Left continues to spill over into real-world violence. Leadership is measured by action, and the silence from Florida Democrats is deafening.”

Stewart, who is a member of the state Democratic Committee, was released from jail after posting $1,000 bond.

BREAKING: Federal Judge Orders Trump Administration to Halt Construction on Privately Funded White House Ballroom

BREAKING: Federal Judge Orders Trump Administration to Halt Construction on Privately Funded White House Ballroom
March 31, 2026

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the privately funded Trump White House ballroom construction project to be halted.

US District Judge Richard Leon, a George W. Bush appointee, temporarily halted construction on the ballroom.

The judge said Congress has to approve the construction project.

AP reported:

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to suspend its construction of a $400 million ballroom where it demolished the East Wing of the White House.

U.S. District Judge Richard Leon in Washington granted a preservationist group’s request for a preliminary injunction that temporarily halts President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project.

Last summer, the Trump Administration announced a White House Ballroom construction project:

For 150 years, Presidents, Administrations, and White House Staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Donald J. Trump has expressed his commitment to solving this problem on behalf of future Administrations and the American people.

The White House is one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the world, yet the White House is currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders and other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building entrance. The White House State Ballroom will be a much-needed and exquisite addition of approximately 90,000 total square feet of ornately designed and carefully crafted space, with a seated capacity of 650 people — a significant increase from the 200-person seated capacity in the East Room of the White House.

In recent weeks, President Trump has held several meetings with members of the White House Staff, the National Park Service, the White House Military Office, and the United States Secret Service to discuss design features and planning.

President Trump has chosen McCrery Architects as lead architect, which is well-known for their classical architectural design and based in our nation’s capital. CEO Jim McCrery said: “Presidents in the modern era have faced challenges hosting major events at the White House because it has been untouched since President Harry Truman. I am honored that President Trump has entrusted me to help bring this beautiful and necessary renovation to The People’s House, while preserving the elegance of its classical design and historical importance.”

The construction team will be headed by Clark Construction, and the engineering team will be led by AECOM.

The project will begin in September 2025, and it is expected to be completed long before the end of President Trump’s term.

President Trump, and other patriot donors, have generously committed to donating the funds necessary to build this approximately $200 million dollar structure. The United States Secret Service will provide the necessary security enhancements and modifications.

The White House Ballroom will be substantially separated from the main building of the White House, but at the same time, it’s theme and architectural heritage will be almost identical. The site of the new ballroom will be where the small, heavily changed, and reconstructed East Wing currently sits. The East Wing was constructed in 1902 and has been renovated and changed many times, with a second story added in 1942.

The White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said the following: “President Trump is a builder at heart and has an extraordinary eye for detail. The President and the Trump White House are fully committed to working with the appropriate organizations to preserving the special history of the White House while building a beautiful ballroom that can be enjoyed by future Administrations and generations of Americans to come.”
