A newly revealed video shows convicted murderer Bryan Kohberger engaged in small talk with a DMV worker about the Idaho college killings while he changed his license plates at a Washington state DMV.

The conversation took place just five days after he slaughtered four University of Idaho students in their home.

The footage was recorded at the Pullman, Washington DMV branch on November 18, 2022, at 3:13 p.m.

Kohberger, then 28, walked in wearing black gloves and requested new Washington state plates for his white Hyundai Elantra, which had previously had Pennsylvania plates.

While filling out the paperwork, Kohberger engaged in calm conversation with a female DMV worker.

When she mentioned the recent Moscow murders and how they made the normally quiet area feel less safe, saying, “I like how small, quiet and I would say safe, but the whole Moscow thing, kinda makes it feel a little less,” Kohberger nodded and replied, “yeah.”

The conversation immediately shifted to sports.

Kohberger, an East Coast native and Yankees fan, asked if she was a Giants fan based on her San Francisco baseball sweatshirt. He discussed his mother being from Brooklyn, praised Aaron Judge as a “very good player,” and talked about his PhD studies, his plans to possibly stay in Washington or move for a job, and how he prefers hiking over camping.

“Are you a Giants fan?” Kohberger asked. “I’m actually from the East Coast, I’m a Yankees fan, I’m hoping you guys don’t catch up.”
