New York City’s First Lady and wife of Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Rama Duwaji, has a history of glorifying terrorism, as evidenced by her past social media posts.

The Washington Free Beacon investigated Duwaji’s accounts on platforms Tumblr and X, finding posts she made in her teens and 20s that may raise an eyebrow with anyone thinking the Muslim couple now residing in Gracie Mansion are moderate in their politics.

In September 2017, she posted an image on Tumblr of Leila Khaled, captioned, “If it does good for my cause, I’ll be happy to accept death.”

Khaled is famous for her role as a militant who took part in two plane hijackings. She is a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department.

In 1970, according to The Washington Free Beacon, Khaled threatened to set off a grenade during one of those hijackings if she was not allowed in the cockpit of the plane.

In another post from March 2015, Duwaji praised another terrorist, Shadia Abu Ghazaleh, on International Women’s Day. Her post on X read “shadia abu ghazaleh, first palestinian woman to fight in resistance after 1967 occupation #InternationalWomensDay.”

Ghazaleh died in 1968 after a bomb that she was making to use on a building in Tel Aviv, Israel, accidentally blew up in her home. She had previously bombed a bus and committed other acts of terrorism.

In June 2015, she reposted an attack on the U.S. military, commenting, “*taps mic* American soldiers fighting in imperialist wars are not brave nor are they fighting for anyone’s freedom. They are mercilessly slaughtering 3rd world civilians and fighting to maintain American hegemony. That is all, thank you! *drops mic*”

After video sharing platform Snapchat added Tel Aviv to a live story feature allowing users to share footage from the city, Duwaji reposted an account that reacted to the decision in July 2015. “But in all reality, @Snapchat has disappointed me. Fuck #TelAviv. Shouldn’t exist in the first place. They’re occupiers. You celebrate them.”

Another post said, “And finally. Hey @Snapchat, as you give Israelis an outlet to celebrate their atrocities, youre supporting a genocidal state. Bye. #TelAviv.”

Some are chastising an investigation into Duwaji’s past, noting that it’s a page right out of the left’s playbook.

But there’s a distinction. Destroying someone’s life for calling their friends edgy insults on Facebook does not equate to revealing that the wife of a prominent public official has a love affair with a terrorist organization and downplays the sacrifice of American service members.

Duwaji is Syrian, moving with her family to Dubai in 2006, where she attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar before transferring to the campus in Richmond, Virginia. She was living in the Middle East, praising Middle Eastern terrorists.

Mamdani has had his own controversies.

Earlier this month, he attended an iftar — a breaking of the Ramadan fast — hosted by the Fire Department of New York Islamic Society.

The event created a stir when Muslim prayer mats were placed in front of a memorial for firefighters who lost their lives in 9/11.

It would be impossible to excuse the group’s decision as one made out of ignorance. This was a callous display of insensitivity toward the people who lost their lives to Islamic terrorism.

New York was once devastated by terror on one of the bloodiest days in American history. Now we put these people in office.

Iranian-Backed Houthis Poised to Join War Against U.S. and Israel as Early as Monday

Iranian-backed Houthi militants in Yemen are preparing to officially join the war against the United States and Israel as early as Monday.

Security officials cited by Israeli media indicate that Tehran and Hezbollah are actively pressuring the Yemen-based terror group to escalate and join the fight,” KAN reported.

The news outlet reported:

Security sources in the region told Kan News that pressure from Iran and Hezbollah is increasing on the Houthi rebels in Yemen to join the campaign, and that it is not impossible that this will happen in the coming days, with the end of Eid al-Fitr on Monday.

Declaratively, the Houthis continue to emphasize that they stand on Iran’s side and that they will join the campaign when developments require it.

Sources in the ranks of the forces opposing the Houthis in Yemen told Here News that in recent days the Houthis have increased their forces in the area of the port city of Al-Hodeidah, which could indicate that they are preparing to join the campaign soon.

An Iranian military official briefed local media today on the Houthis’ possible joining of the campaign in the maritime arena – blocking the Bab al-Mandab Strait in the Red Sea – in the event of an American ground invasion of Iran.

The Houthi Foreign Ministry warned any foreign power against sending forces to the region and expanding the “circle of aggression.” The statement said that the Americans “have put themselves in a major strategic dead end” and are trying to involve others and drag them into the quagmire they have sunk into, but “the free elements among the nation in the region will not allow any foreign intervention.” It also said: “The Republic of Yemen is monitoring the developments and will take the appropriate step regarding them, and will not stand idly by.

Analysts warn that if the Houthis officially enter the war:

  • Red Sea shipping lanes could be targeted immediately, choking off one of the world’s most critical trade routes
  • Oil tankers and U.S. naval assets could come under direct attack
  • Saudi and Gulf energy infrastructure may be hit again, triggering a global energy crisis

Experts have long warned that the Houthis act as a strategic “force multiplier” for Iran, capable of stretching U.S. and Israeli defenses across multiple fronts simultaneously, The Soufan Center reported.

Nearly 30 oil tankers are already sitting vulnerable near key shipping routes, effectively becoming floating targets if the Houthis pull the trigger, according to The Times.

New York Post reported:

The Houthis have missile and drone capabilities which they used to harass shipping after Israel’s war with Hamas following the Oct. 7, 2023 attack inside the Jewish state.

Houthi spokesman Abed al-Thawr told Iran’s state-run Press TV “all options are on the table” and threatened a naval blockade against the US and Israel.

Iran and its allies are “going up the ladder of escalation, quite methodically, whatever is being done to them they’re, in turn, doing to the Gulf states” and other tactics, said Amir Handjani of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft.

That is what Iran did in a revenge attack on two Gulf neighbors, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, after Israel struck its main natural gas field last week.

REPORT: Savannah Guthrie Eyes ‘Today’ Show Return Next Month as Search for Missing Mother Continues

Savannah Guthrie could return to NBC’s Today show as early as next month, according to a report.

Sources told Page Six that the longtime host is aiming to be back on air after her children’s spring break. Most New York schools resume classes around April 10.

Guthrie has been off the show following the disappearance of her mother, Nancy, who went missing from her Arizona home between January 31 and February 2.

The timeline for her return remains uncertain. Sources say the situation depends on developments in the investigation, as well as Guthrie’s personal circumstances.

She is also said to be spending time with her family, including her husband Michael Feldman and their two children, before returning to work.

In her absence, fellow host Hoda Kotb has been filling in on the program.

However, another source told Page Six that there has been no official confirmation of Guthrie’s return date and that Kotb is expected to continue covering her role for now.

Guthrie briefly returned to Rockefeller Center earlier this month to visit colleagues.

“I wanted you to know that I’m still standing, and I still have hope,” she said at the time. “And I’m still me.”

She also indicated she plans to return to the show.

“I have every intention of coming back,” Guthrie said. “I don’t know how to come back, but I don’t know how not to.”

The family is still holding out belief that their mother will be found and her kidnappers brought ot justice.

“Someone knows something,” they said in a statement. “No detail is too small. It may be the key.”

However, it appears they may have given up on the hope that she may still be alive.

“We miss our mom with every breath, and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder.”

“Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home.”

“We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life, but we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest.”

A meteorite crashed straight through the roof of a home near Houston, Texas, on Saturday, sending shockwaves through the local neighborhood.

Local officials say the incident happened at around 4:45 p.m. in northwest Harris County.

The space rock punched a hole through the roof of a two-story house, slammed into a bedroom floor, then ricocheted and struck the ceiling again.

Miraculously, no one was injured.

Fire Chief Fred Windisch of the Ponderosa Fire Department said he had never seen anything like it in decades of service.

The homeowner, Sherrie James, described hearing a loud explosion from inside the house.

Her grandson went to investigate and found a hole in the ceiling and the rock sitting on the floor below.

Realising what had happened, James immediately contacted emergency services.

The object is believed to be part of a meteor that streaked across Texas moments earlier.

Witnesses reported seeing a bright fireball in the sky shortly before the impact.

According to NASA, the object entered Earth’s atmosphere at roughly 35,000 miles per hour.

It became visible high above the region before breaking apart mid-air, scattering debris across parts of Harris County.

Officials say the original space rock may have been around three feet wide and weighed close to a ton before fragmenting.

The breakup also created a pressure wave, producing the loud booms heard across the area.

Weather radar later confirmed debris falling between northwest Houston and nearby communities.

Despite the damage to the home, James said she is grateful no one was hurt. She has since placed the meteorite in a plastic bag and plans to keep it.

A fundraising page has reportedly been set up to help cover repairs to the damaged roof, floor, and ceiling.

“A meteorite unexpectedly came through my roof today, causing damage to my home here in North Houston,” she wrote in a Facebook post.

The incident comes just days after another meteor caused a loud explosion over parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania, rattling buildings and alarming residents.
