A demented thug has sparked national outrage after killing a kindly Costco employee in Ohio and then trying to come up with a racial hoax to justify his action.

As WJW reported, 61-year-old Randy Corrigan of Cleveland was gunned down in cold blood on April 25 after a man stormed into the Costco store on Royalton Road in Strongville with a drum magazine for reasons still unclear.

Court documents obtained by WJW show that in a desperate attempt to defend himself, Corrigan pulled out his pocket knife. The thug responded by promptly shooting him.

After a split second, the intruder then unloaded several more rounds into a helpless Corrigan. The Costco employee was shot multiple times in the chest, arm, and abdomen.

Despite the horrific nature of his injuries, court documents say Corrigan was breathing, conscious, and able to answer questions at the scene. But his condition soon declined and he died despite several life-saving efforts by authorities.

WJW reports that police later identified the perp as 22-year-old Christian M. Bryant of Fort Worth, Texas and charged him with an unclassified felony count of murder. He is a high school graduate and has a prior criminal record.

After being arrested, Bryant claimed to police without evidence that “a white man approached me with a knife for no reason” and “I defended myself.”

Essentially, the career criminal was asserting that he was the victim of racism, thus supposedly excusing his actions.

Bryant reiterated his alleged lie during his Monday arraignment. A judge later set his bail at $5 million.

At the time of his death, Corrigan was the sole provider for a woman’s 86-year-old grandmother. A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched to fund the grandmother’s care and to help with Corrigan’s funeral.

The woman who set up the GoFundMe called Corrigan “an amazing, funny, and generous man who completely turned his life around after some trouble in his younger days.”

“He was selfless and caring,” she added. “The sole caregiver for my 86-year-old grandmother.”

The Virginia Supreme Court on Tuesday denied a request from the Democrat Attorney General to pause a lower court order blocking the gerrymander referendum.

Last Tuesday evening, Virginia voters passed the redistricting referendum that will benefit Democrats and disenfranchise millions of Virginia independents and Republicans.

“The ballot measure gives the Democrat-controlled Virginia legislature — rather than the state’s current nonpartisan commission — temporary redistricting power through the 2030 election. It could result in a 10-1 advantage for Democrats in Virginia’s congressional delegation, up from their current 6-5 edge,” Fox New reported.

Virginia’s radical Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger lied on the campaign trail and said that she would not support gerrymandering and the congressional redistricting referendum.

Last week, the Tazewell Circuit Court ruled the Democrats’ redistricting referendum unconstitutional.

The judge entered an injunction blocking certification of the narrow “Yes” victory and denied Democrats’ request for a stay pending appeal.

The development was announced on last Wednesday afternoon by former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II, who is leading the Election Transparency Initiative.

The Supreme Court of Virginia has denied a request from Democrats and the state to pause last week’s ruling by a Tazewell County judge, which blocked the State Board of Elections from certifying the results of the April 21 redistricting referendum.

On Tuesday, April 28, a Tazewell County judge declared that the State Department of Elections could not move forward with certifying the results of the the April 21 referendum until the Supreme Court of Virginia weighed in.

Then, Democrats and the state requested this emergency stay, which would have allowed the Department of Elections to move forward with certification while the appeals process plays out.

However, the Supreme Court of Virginia ruled that the Department of Elections cannot do that. Our 8News legal analyst confirmed that this is just a ruling on the request for a stay and not on the merits of the appeal.

Now that New Mexico has reopened its investigation into alleged child sex trafficking at the ranch, new details are emerging.

Reuters reported:

“Maria Jose Rodriguez Cadiz, who heads Solace Sexual Assault Services in Santa Fe, the only such support center in the region, told Reuters in an interview that in 2019, the year Epstein was arrested and then found dead in a jail cell, around 45 people approached the center to seek information, therapy and other services in ​relation to alleged sexual abuse ​at the ranch.

She estimated that ⁠between a quarter and a half of those contacts were from women who said they had been abused at the ranch – although she added that the center did not keep detailed records.

‘Dozens ​of people who were in need of information or direct services related to the Epstein-ring ​sex trafficking crimes ⁠were coming forward’, Rodriguez Cadiz said.”

Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted for a second time, according to CNN and Fox News.

The exact charges are not clear; however, Fox News reported that the latest indictment is related to Comey’s Trump assassination Instagram post.

The second indictment comes after a judge dismissed Comey’s prior charges of false statements and obstruction based on the Constitution’s Appointments Clause.

Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted a second time by Trump’s Justice Department, two sources familiar told CNN.

The specific charges were not immediately clear.

President Donald Trump has long pressed for his political adversaries to face charges, including the former FBI director whom he believed to be a key player in the alleged effort to “weaponize” justice system against him.

In September of last year, the Justice Department first brought charges against Comey, accusing him of lying to Congress over leaks to the press. The case was dismissed late last year by a federal judge who found that the interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia had been improperly appointed, having skirted approval from the Senate.

Last year it was reported that James Comey was under investigation for calling for Trump to be killed in a cryptic Instagram post.

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his caption in May 2025.

Comey previously peddled a BS story explaining how he just stumbled upon a curious formation of shells as he was walking down the beach with his wife.

“We were walking on the beach, we went to the beach to prepare for this week… and we were walking back towards the road and we saw in the sand someone had arranged shells with numbers. And Patrice, my wife, said, ‘why would someone put an address in the sand?’ and I said, ‘I don’t know’ and we stood over and I said, ‘I think it’s some kind of political message,’” Comey said.

Comey then threw his wife under the bus.

“She said you know, when I was a server – she did a lot of work in restaurants – meant to remove an item from the menu when you ran out of ingredients. And I said, ‘well to me, as a kid it always meant to leave a place, to ditch a place.’ And she said well that very clever you should take a picture of that and I did and posted it on my Instagram and though nothing more of it until I heard through her that people were saying that it was a call for some sort of assassination which is crazy!” Comey said.
