Following another assassination attempt against President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), Senate Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is doubling down on his violent rhetoric, calling for ‘maximum warfare’ against the GOP.

Last week, only days before the attempt, Jeffries’ message to Democrats was to inflict “MAXIMUM WARFARE. EVERYWHERE. ALL THE TIME.”

Following the shooting at the WHCD, an apologist, masquerading as a reporter, made every effort to help Jeffries with her carefully phrased “question” that attempted to provide some element of cover for his violent rhetoric.

The reporter asked, “Mr. Leader, I know you said you stand by your comments. At the same time, you have been the subject of threats as well.”

“So with respect to this comment about maximum warfare, even if it’s about redistricting, why not tone down the language here in this moment?”

After a screed of deflection and regurgitation of fake news, Jeffries answered, “As it relates to anything that has been said, certainly as it relates to the comment related to maximum warfare everywhere all the time in connection with the redistricting battle that Republicans launched, I stand by it.”

“You can continue to criticize me for it.”

“I don’t give a damn about your criticism.”

Former Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino joined Fox News and addressed Jeffries directly.

“You addressed earlier, Hakeem Jeffries, talking about this civility thing.”

“Listen, Hakeem, we’re not asking for civility, guy! We’re just asking that YOUR Democrats just stop trying to shoot President Trump, okay?!”

“Forget civility! We don’t give a DAMN if you’re nice and if you write respectfully at the end of your emails.”

“Just please stop trying to shoot the president! Like, can we just agree on that, Mr. Jeffries?!”

Germany’s Merz Says Ukraine Will Have To Cede Territory in Peace Deal With Russia if It Wants To Join the EU

Germany’s Merz Says Ukraine Will Have To Cede Territory in Peace Deal With Russia if It Wants To Join the EU

Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and his major backer, Germany’s Friedrich Merz – Wki Commons

Merz keeps making geopolitical waves.

Highly unpopular German Chancellor Friedrich Merz does what other Euro-Globalists do: spends as much time and energy as he can meddling in other countries’ businesses and telling these nations what to do.

The rationale seems to be that the less he deals with his own troubled country with a floundering economy, the better.

Just yesterday, Merz uttered the outrageous view that Iran is ‘humiliating the US’, but that was not all.

The Chancellor also said that Ukraine will have to cede parts of its territory in a future peace deal with Russia, and – what’s more – appeared to link such concessions to Kiev’s prospects for joining the European Union.

Reuters reported:

“’At some point, Ukraine will sign a ceasefire agreement; at some point, hopefully, a peace treaty with Russia. Then it may be that part of Ukraine’s territory is no longer Ukrainian’, Merz told students at the Carolus-Magnus-Gymnasium in Marsberg, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, on Monday.

‘If President (Volodymyr) Zelenskiy wants to communicate this to his own population and gain a majority for it, and he needs to hold a referendum on it, then he must at the same time tell the people: ‘I have opened the way to Europe for you’,” Merz added.”

But Merz again cautioned against raising hopes for rapid EU accession, as he has done just a few days ago.

He warned that Ukraine cannot join the European Union while at war, and must also meet strict criteria regarding the ‘rule of law’ and on ‘fighting corruption’.

“’Zelensky had the idea of joining the EU on January 1, 2027. That will not work. Even January 1, 2028 is not realistic’, Merz said.”

A woman interviews a man in a suit during a discussion, highlighting their engagement in a professional conversation.

Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles has said that he personally overheard a reporter wishing for President Donald Trump to be shot, while hiding from the shooter herself, during the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday.

The congressman said that while attendees were hiding, he heard a female reporter declare, “I hope they kill the orange MF.”

Ogles went public about what he heard during a conversation with podcast host Lynden Blake.

“There was a reporter, I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m going to say it, there was a reporter in the room who was under a table, and when the shots went off, and everybody’s hiding, she said, ‘I hope they kill the orange MF,’” Ogles explained.

“That was a journalist in the room, who was hoping that when she stood up, the President of the United States would be dead,” he emphasized.

Ogles later posted the clip on his X account, writing, “To the Left, it’s no longer a battlefield of ideas; it’s open warfare.”

Ogles also shared the clip from his official government account, writing:

While I was in the room, a gunman tried to kill President Trump, cabinet members, and other elected officials in DC Saturday night.

Despite this, I went to a public venue to have an honest dialogue with students who vehemently disagreed with me. My good-faith effort for civil discourse was met with shouts and name-calling.

My side uses dialogue, the other side uses intimidation.

A large number of the replies are demanding that Ogles publicly name the reporter, with many arguing that she has no business covering the White House or attending future press events if the allegation is true.

Some have called for her to be reported to the Secret Service and permanently disinvited from the annual dinner.

Blake responded to a comment asking for their name, saying she is “working to find out more on who said this.”

As of early Tuesday morning, Ogles has not yet identified the reporter.

Ilhan Omar SEETHES When Pressed About Her Suspicious Financial History | Drew Hernandez
April 28, 2026

A woman in a purple hijab passionately protests while FBI agents stand in front of a government building, highlighting a tense political atmosphere.

Woke Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., lashed out at a LindellTV reporter when pressed about massive discrepancies in her congressional financial disclosure forms, which once listed her net worth as high as $30 million before an amended filing reduced it to under $95,000.

In a hallway exchange captured on video, the reporter reminded Omar that she had previously called her “stupid” for asking about the filing and asked how she could make “such a big mistake,” prompting Omar to reply, “I still think you’re stupid for asking me anything.”

When the journalist pressed for an explanation for LindellTV’s audience and “the American people,” Omar snapped, “I don’t want to tell you jack s—t. How about that? Have a good day,” before walking away.

Omar’s office has blamed the earlier multimillion‑dollar disclosure on “accounting errors,” saying an accountant failed to subtract liabilities tied to her husband Tim Mynett’s businesses and insisting the amended report proves she is “not a millionaire” and was corrected “as soon as the discrepancy was identified.”

The revisions slashed previously reported assets connected to Mynett’s Santa Rosa winery and Washington, D.C.–based venture capital firm Rose Lake Capital, which had once been valued in the millions, down to a range of roughly $18,000 to $95,000, raising questions from Republicans about how the original figures were ever approved.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer of Minnesota called Omar’s multimillion‑dollar revision “incompetence at best and a cover‑up at worst,” warning that she “cannot escape accountability much longer” and emphasizing that investigations are ongoing in House committees.

Asked separately whether Omar’s disappearing millions and the reported dissolution of a “ghost winery” warrant a House Ethics investigation, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries told a LindellTV reporter the issue had “not [been] brought to my attention” and dismissed the furor as attacks by “right‑wing conspiracy theorists” on a lawmaker who “works hard” for her Minnesota district.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Alan Dershowitz BLASTS the Left—“They Left Me,” Calls Out Radical Shift (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Alan Dershowitz BLASTS the Left—“They Left Me,” Calls Out Radical Shift (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Alan Dershowitz BLASTS the Left—“They Left Me,” Calls Out Radical Shift (VIDEO)
April 28, 2026

Alan Dershowitz discusses his political views on a livestream, emphasizing his perspective on the shifting dynamics of the political left.

WATCH: In Exclusive Interview, Alan Dershowitz Reveals Why He Broke with the Left

In an exclusive interview, Alan Dershowitz delivered a direct assessment of today’s political landscape, arguing that the modern Left has moved away from its long-standing commitment to open debate and reason—particularly on issues related to Israel.

“I didn’t leave the Left. The Left left me,” Dershowitz said, pointing to what he described as a sustained shift away from core liberal principles, including free speech, due process, and viewpoint tolerance.

Dershowitz, a lifelong Democrat who built his career defending constitutional protections and consistently supporting Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, identified Israel as one of the clearest fault lines in that shift.

Positions that were once considered mainstream within liberal circles—such as support for Israel’s security and opposition to antisemitism—now increasingly generate backlash in academic and political spaces.

The issue, as Dershowitz framed it, is not disagreement. Disagreement has always existed, including on foreign policy.

The problem is the growing refusal to allow certain positions, particularly pro-Israel perspectives, to be expressed without consequence.

That shift has had measurable consequences. Universities that once functioned as platforms for debate now regularly see speakers protested, disinvited, or shut down. Students who express support for Israel often face social and institutional pressure, creating an environment where certain viewpoints carry clear risks.

Media institutions, according to Dershowitz, reinforce that same pattern. Coverage of Israel-related issues increasingly reflects a narrow framework, limiting the range of perspectives presented to the public and discouraging deviation from dominant narratives.

Dershowitz contrasted that environment with what he sees emerging on the political right: a broader willingness to tolerate internal disagreement, including on Israel, foreign policy, and broader geopolitical strategy. That observation challenges the common narrative that the right operates with rigid ideological conformity.

In practice, conservative spaces include visible disagreements on issues such as U.S. involvement abroad, aid to Israel, and broader Middle East policy. Those debates are not suppressed; they are openly contested.

By comparison, Dershowitz argued, deviation from dominant positions on the Left—particularly on Israel—often results in professional and social consequences. That dynamic encourages self-censorship and narrows the range of ideas that are publicly discussed.

The result is a clear reduction in intellectual diversity.

Dershowitz emphasized that a functioning democracy depends on the ability to test ideas through open exchange.

When institutions discourage that process—especially on complex international issues like Israel—they weaken their ability to produce informed and effective policy.

A system that prioritizes ideological conformity over open debate produces weaker analysis. Positions that are not challenged are not strengthened.

Dershowitz’s comments reflect a broader trend. Individuals who once aligned with the Left are increasingly distancing themselves, not necessarily because their views on issues like Israel have changed, but because the acceptable range of views has narrowed.

The central divide in American political life is no longer defined solely by policy differences. It is increasingly defined by whether institutions are willing to tolerate dissent—especially on issues like Israel.

You may not agree with Dershowitz on every point he makes. No one agrees with every point made by any individual. What distinguishes the political right, however, is a greater tolerance for dissent and open debate. In many cases, that disagreement is encouraged.

By contrast, the Left increasingly relies on rhetoric, social pressure, and coordinated messaging to marginalize opposing views, while conservative activists respond by inviting direct debate.
