Spencer Pratt has jumped to a one point lead over incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, according to new polling.

That may not seem like much, but it’s huge in the context of this race. Bass is not only the incumbent mayor, she has the backing of the establishment in a blue city. No one even knew who Spencer Pratt was a month ago. For him to overtake her in a poll, any poll, by any amount, is nothing short of stunning. This just doesn’t happen.

A lot of this has to do with Pratt’s viral ad campaign, but it also has much to do with his willingness to speak hard truths to the voters about why the city is falling apart.

The mayoral race between Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) and Spencer Pratt has tightened, according to a poll from the California Post.

The poll, conducted with McLaughlin & Associates, shows Pratt leading with 30.1 percent support, while Bass has 29.5 percent support as voters prepare for next week’s primary, the outlet reported Friday.

“The poll surveyed 400 likely Los Angeles voters between May 26 and May 28 through live phone calls and text-message interviews conducted in English and Spanish,” the article continued. “The sample included voters from every major region of the city and reflected a diverse cross-section of Los Angeles, with respondents identifying as 52% White, 27% Hispanic, 10% Black and 9% Asian. The survey was 53% female and 47% male, with an average age of 52.”

Pratt is a registered Republican but is running as an independent, according to Breitbart News.

The Post article said findings showed Pratt had significant support from Hispanic voters at 33 percent, noting that John McLaughlin, CEO of McLaughlin & Associates, said, “I think the mayor’s race is a lot more volatile. Normally it’s a slam dunk for the Democrats, but it’s being driven by the negatives on Bass.”

This could be a political earthquake.

Pratt is also outperforming the socialist candidate.

MSNOW Host Jonathan Capehart appeared on PBS this weekend and claimed that Joe Biden’s health was examined closely by the media and the public, then suggested that Trump is getting a pass on the same issue.

While this is laughable, it exposes the fact that the liberal media is really angry at Jill Biden for making the public focus on this issue once again through her recent comments about her husband.

It also shows how dishonest they are. Biden’s health issues were denied by the media for years. Anyone on the right who brought it up was labeled as a conspiracy theorist and accused of pushing ‘cheap fakes.’

This is not helpful. This is not helpful, certainly for Democrats, who have a unique ability to circle the wagons and then just fire at each other while Republicans watch with glee. This is a sort of a second self-inflicted wound on the party, the first one being earlier last week with the draft of that autopsy that was released.

To my mind, to your point, Joe Biden’s health has been litigated up and down, even when he was in the White House, which stands in stark contrast to what is happening today with the current sitting president, who went in for yet another physical at Walter Reed. He’s only been in the job for 18 months.

Three visits to Walter Reed? Why are we, as a profession, not talking as extensively and exhaustively and urgently about the health of the sitting president of the United States, when we did that to Joe Biden for four years?

Leftists try to attack Trump’s health but this approach just doesn’t stick and there is a very simple reason why. People have eyes and ears.

Unlike Joe Biden, Trump makes himself available to the media all day long, every single day, and seems perfectly fine.

There is simply no comparison between the two, no matter how much the left complains.

There seems to be no shortage of crazy passengers on commercial flights these days.

A United Airlines flight heading to Minnesota on Friday was forced to make an emergency landing in Wisconsin after one of the passengers aboard allegedly tried to get into the cockpit. This was according to audio from air traffic control.

The flight departed from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago on Friday evening and landed in Madison, Wisconsin, instead of Minneapolis for security reasons surrounding the out-of-control passenger.

Flight tracking data showed that the plane landed approximately 90 minutes after takeoff.

A United Airlines flight bound for Minneapolis, Minnesota, made an emergency landing in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday after a passenger allegedly attempted to storm the cockpit, according to air traffic control audio.

The flight, which took off from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at roughly 8 p.m. CDT, “landed safely in Madison, Wisconsin to address a security concern with an unruly passenger,” United said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital.

The flight landed in Madison’s Dane County Regional Airport roughly 90 minutes after takeoff, according to flight tracking data.

“While United did not reveal the specific nature of the security concern, air traffic control audio from Dane County Regional Airport reviewed by WISN revealed that the passenger made ‘multiple attempts to breach the cockpit.’” Fox News Reported.

It didn’t appear he was handcuffed, but was subdued after numerous attempts to try and get into the cockpit.

According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Department, they learned that there were off-duty law enforcement officers on the flight that was detaining the unstable passenger.

Authorities were able to take the passenger off the airplane after around 10:30 p.m. Central Time, according to the Sheriff.

The Sheriff Department was trying to find a translator who spoke Russian after the passenger was removed.

Former First Lady Jill Biden appeared in a CBS interview this week and finally addressed one of the most controversial decisions of Joe Biden’s presidency: the last-minute pardon of Hunter Biden after the former president repeatedly told the American people he would not do it.

Her answer did not clear anything up. It made the situation look even worse.

During the CBS interview with Rita Braver, Jill Biden was asked about Joe Biden’s repeated promise that he would not pardon Hunter. The former president made that pledge publicly, more than once, while insisting he would respect the justice system. 

Then, after Donald Trump won the 2024 election, Biden reversed course and issued a sweeping pardon for his son.

Jill Biden defended the decision by claiming that “things changed” after Trump was elected and that the family believed Hunter would be targeted by a Trump Justice Department.

That explanation gives away the entire game.

Joe Biden did not suddenly discover new evidence. He did not suddenly realize the case was unfair. 

According to Jill Biden’s own explanation, the political calculation changed after Trump won. In other words, Biden’s promise not to pardon Hunter only mattered as long as Democrats believed they would stay in power.

The former first lady also claimed the family “could not let” Hunter go to jail for a charge she said no one goes to jail for. But the issue was never only the pardon itself. The issue was the lie. 

Joe Biden looked into the cameras, presented himself as a man of principle, and told Americans he would not use presidential power to protect his own son. Then he did exactly that.

The same interview also addressed Biden’s preemptive pardons for other family members. Jill Biden suggested those pardons were issued because the family believed Trump would target them as well.

That argument is difficult to take seriously after four years of the Biden Justice Department going after Donald Trump, his allies, and ordinary Americans who opposed the regime’s political priorities. 

Democrats spent years pretending the justice system was independent while Trump faced one legal assault after another. Then, when Biden’s own family needed protection, the same people suddenly decided the Justice Department could not be trusted.

Jill Biden also discussed Joe Biden’s disastrous 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump, saying she was frightened and thought her husband may have been having a stroke. 

But immediately after that debate, the Biden team tried to spin the disaster as just another campaign moment. Jill Biden even praised her husband after the debate, despite what millions of Americans had just watched on live television.

That debate exposed what the media and Democrat Party had spent years trying to hide. Joe Biden was not fit to serve another four years. The American people saw it. Democrat insiders knew it. The press could no longer cover it up.

Now, the Bidens are trying to rewrite history. They want Americans to believe Joe Biden was a principled public servant, Hunter Biden was an innocent victim, the Justice Department only became dangerous after Trump won, and the family had no choice but to protect itself.

But Jill Biden’s CBS interview showed something very different. It showed a political family that said one thing in public, did another thing in private, and expected Americans not to notice.

By now, we are all used to seeing the prodigal son of Britain’s King Charles III involved in ugly controversies related to his work in African charities.

Recently, his resignation from Sentebale, a charity that he co-founded with the Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, was splashed in the world’s headlines after Chairwoman Sophie Chandauka accused him of bullying and harassment.

Chandauka went as far as suing him for libel.

But all this pales in a sense, compared to the problems involving the ‘African Parks’ charity he presided until two years ago.

He is once again under pressure over his ties to an African wildlife charity after rangers connected to the group were accused of carrying out serious abuses against Indigenous communities.

Harry led African Parks as its president for six years before taking a seat on the charity’s governing board two years ago. The organization has since acknowledged that some of its rangers committed human rights abuses against the Baka people living near Odzala-Kokoua National Park in the Republic of the Congo after allegations were investigated.”

It is the very organization that alleged that abuses by African Parks had been ongoing in the country.

As per the Daily Mail, African Parks acknowledged the allegations last year, saying, ‘Human rights abuses have occurred, and we deeply regret the pain and suffering that these have caused to the victims.’ The charity said it was working to rebuild trust with Congolese human rights groups through formal channels and maintained that those accused had been appropriately dealt with.”
